Pregnant Emperor

Meanwhile,Tie Lan and Gu Lan had run into one of the servants restrooms breathing heavily.Tie Lan looked behind to see if that crazy eunuch was still following but saw no one in sight.Both slumped to the floor.

"That was close"said Gu lan

"I agree.It was also fun right?"asked Tie lan.

Gu lan did not reply but instead yawned.

"I really need to be at the kitchen now"complained Tie lan

"Then what are you waiting for?Hurry and go there before the head maid scolds you and if you see that eunuch again just run"advised Gu lan

"Okay then!I'll see you later.Be safe"said Tie lan as she hugged her bestie and then got up to leave.

Tie lan had successfully made it to the kitchen where she was asked by the head maid to stir the soup normally given to the emperor by midnight.

"I pray i'm not sent to him again"prayed Tie lan silently but reality is always harsh.

The head maid suddenly felt bellyache and told Tie lan to finish making the soup and deliver it to the emperor.The other maids apart from the other 5 in the kitchen right now had gone to sleep.

TIe lan immediately felt her world crash.

She was going to see the emperor again?

From what she heard from those who delivered the emperor's soup at midnight,the emperor was like a bereaved dinosaur.His temper is at his worst when woken up to drink at midnight.One had even lost her arm another lost a leg and now she was being sent there?

She began to pray the head maid change her mind but it was never so. She tearlessly cried internally.

So she resigned to her fate as the head maid and the other maids left.

She continued preparing the soup that normally takes 4 hours to make.When she was done she was very exhausted.

Now that the soup had been put into a cooler , she wiped her sweat and put the cooler into a basket and was set to go to the emperor's bedroom once again.

As she walked her heart was pounding.She doesn't know if she'll survive but she will still fulfill her duties.

Meanwhile the emperor was having a nightmare about his mother being rȧpėd right in front of him and he couldn't do any thing but cry.He was crying in his sleep and shivering .

Beads of sweat also rolled down his forehead and the temperature of the room rose by several degrees.

Even the guards at the front of his courtyard felt the heat despite the chilly night but dared not go inside or the emperor might explode.They could only wait for whoever was going to deliver his special soup to come. Only that soup could calm this guy down.

Not far off from them was Tie lan whose heart was pounding harder.
