Priestess Of The Land

Grimacing at the conclusion of who the old man was talking about, they felt a headache coming down on them, although Hepri did not know much about Tria and Crei's relationship, Chukah did.

He was grimacing at the fact that the old man was thinking of bringing this Goddess to Crei, when he was already married to his little sister. Also, to think that handsome bully was already arranged in marriage, with someone else....and a goddess at that.

'Who is Crei?' he wondered. Tria did not seem to worry about his identity, therefore, he can only choose to support her.

"Kill him," Chukah said.

"Done."

Hepri had long left the old man to his deadly beetles, and he did not even let out a single sound.

"This is troublesome, I long knew Crei was not a simple man, and now he's about to have a goddess as a concubine while having a wife as a priestess, lucky man he is..." Hepri said carelessly.

"Yeah, you should definitely say that to his face," Chukah mocked him, "we have to reach them before this so-called goddess sends people after them."

"That old man is dead though, she's not going to send anybody until she's found out about him first."

"She knows already, a wisp of his soul was missing, she probably has it and once it disperses she'll figure it out."

"How do you know that?"

"I'm contracted to a Jackal Hepri...I'm closer to the dead than you think."

"Ah...sorry man," Hepri tapped Chukah's shoulder apologetically.

Annoyed, Chukah dusted off his hand.

"It's cool, at least it's not a bug," he coolly said than flew off ahead.

Stunned, Hepri was left with his mouth agape.

"What the hell!? That's not cool man and wait for me!!!"

Tria and Crei had flown into many different sub-lands already, and they were only about one away to reach Centria.

"It seems that only the outer sub-lands have gotten affected by the war," Tria said.

"It would seem so, do you have a plan for when you get to Centria? After that's done we have to find our way out of this land as soon as possible."

"I have a lot of ideas, but this war has got me worried, I might not be fond of many people of these lands but there are still many innocent lives at risk that I should try to protect. No one asked to be created, so if their creators do not care about them, it is my job as priestess to protect them. I have you, Chukah, Hepri, Mexi, Ka'an and the rest to care for, you guys are my family. Our home...this is our home..." Tria solemnly said.

"Wifey..." Crei hugged her tightly, "Our home, I'll protect it...take care of me and I'll take care of us."

Tria looked up at him and laughed out loud.

"You're so cheesy, hahaha, but I like it."

Crei awkwardly laughed with her, pretending to know what she meant.

"When we get to Centria, I'll be able to reinforce the barrier, and using that I'll be able to lure the people I need to have a talk with," she seriously added.

"Looking forward to it," a ray of light shine through Crei's eyes," my shadows are already in position and Chukah and beetle-head should make it here soon."

"Beetle-head?"

Going on another bout of laughter, Hepri from far away sneezed as he wondered who was talking about him.

Answer: Hi Melmel ^^, I do not draw much (if you consider stick figures as art), however on discord,

I have added many character drawings that have inspired me. Also recently, there has been

some awesome fan art posted on there as well [lucky author I am T~T).
