Prometheus's Burst

The Raft is a max security prison destined to contain the most violent and deadly mutants that endanger mankind. It was situated in the ocean and it only came to the suffice when a new prisoner arrived.

Apollo was exactly on this prison and without any help from outside it almost impossible to get out.

In one of the outer cells of the prison, Apollo was doing push-ups and handstands. He knew that he would probably be staying here for some time.

Although he could use his powers to defeat his opponents he couldn't always trust them like now, he could still use his powers but they were so limited by the mutant gene collar that he couldn't launch any ranged attacks and even in close quarters he could only cause severe burns in a short period of time.

"Cell 1438! Open!"

A shout coming from outside disturbed Apollo's concentration so much that he almost fell on the group with his face. He looked at the door and grumbled all sorts of profanities and threats like when I get out I will burn you so much that your eyes will turn into water that you will drink trying to quench the thirst caused by extreme heat.

But maybe because of the shrilling sound of the metal cell doors sliding the man didn't hear anything Apollo said.

He got up with a jump and wiped the sweat off his face. Apollo sat down and gazed coldly at the man standing at the door.

'How the f*ck do I meet two of the most famous bald men in the Marvel Universe in such a short notice!'

The man was probably in his fifties and was bald. He wears a black eye patch and had a black jacket dressing his body. Ah, I was almost forgetting that he is black.

"Hello, Apollo!"

"Hello, Snow White!"

This short exchange showed how serious Apollo could be facing bald guys. The man's face contorted so much after hearing Apollo's words that it almost seemed like he was trying to give birth to a new eyeball in the place of the missing one.

"Tch! Forget, bastard! Guards lead this insane motherf#cker to the yard to see if after this he continues to be so funny."

Apollo laughed at the response from Nick Fury as he probably came here to talk with him about the probability of absolving his crimes in exchange for working for Shield.

To Apollo, it wasn't strange that Nick Fury tried to recruit him from this max security prison after all the Raft was managed by Shield.

Guided by the prison guards, Apollo crossed halls after halls, cells after cells till he arrives at the yard. This 'yard' wasn't like that outdoor prison yards where prisoners are given the chance to breathe some fresh air.No, this 'yard' was a division the size of a soccer field inside the Raft.

He was led to the entrance before they all stopped.

"Ehheee... Go have so fun with your new playmates, bastard!"

The guards pushed Apollo inside the 'yard' while they stood outside the door that closed after Apollo entered.

Apollo stood up while touching his neck. Sighting at the bad attitude of the guards he took a peek at the approaching mob dressed in black and white.

Stretching his arms wide and open he shouted:

"I have arrived! Come here to greet your new boss, you bastards!"
