Azeroth: Starting with Eagle Eye in the Necropolis.

“Ahem, I’m not that kind of person, Rhodes,” Varian said, somewhat speechless.

"I mean, when you're injured, they can heal you, change your body shape, and disguise themselves as maids. They can also fold their wings. What are you thinking?"

"Brother Varian," Rhodes said with a smile.

“…” Varian wanted to kill this guy.

Chapter 298 teaches how to summon Holy Light Elementals in the Azeroth version.

A playful smile appeared on Rhodes's lips. That's right, he had just given Varian a little trick.

According to some rumors, after King Varian was cursed by the Black Dragon Princess and split into two people, the part of his body that had combat abilities got along very well with Valera, and the heartwarming atmosphere between the two in the story was almost overflowing from the screen.

Players initially thought that after King Varian returned to the Alliance in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, Stormwind would have a new queen, who would be a Blood Elf.

But things didn't go as planned. Valeera became Stormwind's top assassin, which left many players feeling a bit disappointed. After all, Varian Wrynn wasn't so bad!

Putting everything else aside, the Holy Light elementals are absolutely top-tier in terms of appearance; their basic modeling is in no way inferior to that of the Blood Elves, which is why Rhodes used this to tease Varian.

Now that he's already won over a certain black dragon princess, he wonders if King Varian will ever encounter Valeera again. This guy really should find a decent queen.

“Thank you, Lord Rhodes, but I think I’ll pass!” Varian shook his head and said.

"I don't have the habit of taking back what I give away. Besides, these Holy Light elements are extremely powerful; each of them is equivalent to a ranged Holy Light mage."

They can unleash various offensive Holy Light spells, as well as protective Holy Light spells, healing spells, and blessing spells. They possess the healing and blessing spells of Paladins and Priests. "You'll like it."

Without saying a word, Rhode immediately stationed two Holy Light Elementals on King Varian. These two Holy Light Elementals could exist permanently because they were transformed from fire elementals produced by Rhode himself using the power of Holy Light. They possessed a certain level of intelligence and could obey commands.

“Your Majesty, these two Holy Light elementals are extremely sacred. If these two sacred beings could accompany you, it would be of great benefit to you,” Duke Bolvar said as he approached.

As a powerful paladin, he could sense how strong the aura emanating from the two holy light elements was. These holy light elements, which could exist indefinitely, possessed terrifying combat power and could provide very effective protection for the king.

A warrior's job would be much easier if he had two guards who could also act as priests or paladins by his side.

King Varian's lips twitched. These two Holy Light elements were indeed quite good, but Rhodes used them to tease him. You didn't hear what he said.

However, Holy Light Elementals are purely energy-based beings, and frankly, they don't have many functions. What happened just now was probably a little joke played by Rhodes.

Ultimately, persuaded by the nobles of Bolvar Stormwind, Varian accepted Rhodes' gift and gained the allegiance of two Holy Light elementals.

"Come, Anduin, say hello to your new friend. He will be your most loyal companion and accompany you as you grow." After handing over the Holy Light Element to Varian, Rhodes came to young Anduin and knelt down to install the Holy Light Phoenix on his disciple.

"Go, Anduin, get along well with your companion; he will be your comrade-in-arms from now on," King Varian said with a smile, patting his son on the shoulder.

Encouraged by his father, Anduin cautiously stepped forward, reached out his little hand, and gently touched the feathers of the sacred phoenix. A warm and peaceful feeling instantly spread throughout his body, making him unable to help but reveal a bright smile.

The Holy Phoenix responded gently to him, letting out a comfortable purr. Of course, all of this was done under Rhodes's control, since the unit he summoned was good in every way except for its lack of intelligence.

"Thank you, teacher!" Anduin turned around and said happily to Rhodes.

“Don’t mention it, it will be with you from today onwards,” Rhodes nodded and said.

This scene filled all the nobles and people of Stormwind with heartfelt joy and peace of mind. Their little prince had not only gained an incomparably powerful Holy Light Master, but also such a holy and powerful guardian! This was undoubtedly the best proof that the Holy Light favored Stormwind!

"Praise be to the Holy Light! Praise be to Lord Rhodes!"

"Long live Stormwind! Long live the Alliance!"

"The sacred phoenix will protect Stormwind!"

Cheers erupted everywhere. The appearance of the sacred phoenix was not only seen by nobles, but also by some commoners in the city, who were also able to witness this sacred and beautiful creature. It was well received by the commoners.

The common people were unaware of what had happened atop the city walls. All they knew was that after Rhodes arrived in Stormwind, he exposed the true nature of an evil countess and helped His Majesty the King rid himself of a black dragon.

He also gifted the little prince a powerful creature of holy light and took him as his apprentice.

Benedictus stood at the edge of the crowd, watching the sacred phoenix, the little prince interacting intimately with the phoenix, and Rhodes, who was surrounded by people and full of vigor. His face appeared somewhat obscure under the holy light.

Don't be too smug, Rhodes. The Holy Light you believe in is utterly useless. I will prove it to you. When the great Lord of Shadows and the great Lord of the Void descend upon this world, you will know.

He wanted to report everything that had happened that day to his master, to the great ancient god.

Everyone was celebrating, and no one except Rhodes noticed that the Archbishop had already left in a somber mood.

“Duke Bolvar, the spell to summon Holy Light elementals isn’t actually that difficult. I may not be able to teach you how to summon a dozen Holy Light elementals, but I can teach you a basic version,” Rhodes said with a mysterious smile.

With Anvina by his side during this time, Rhode has gained a deeper understanding of the Holy Light element and has now fully developed the spell to summon the Holy Light element.

Previously, after Anvina learned the spell to summon fire elementals, she could safely teach it to others, as fire elementals could be easily purified into holy light elementals by being imbued with holy light power.

Rhodes planned to pass the spell on to Stormwind, but as for the Knights of the Silver Hand, he would deal with that after returning.

After the trip to Stormwind, King Varian will travel with him back to Lordaeron to attend the Queen's coronation ceremony. At that time, Rhodes can find an opportunity to have Anveena teach the spells of the Holy Light to the other members of the Knights of the Silver Hand.

"Lord Rhodes, do you mean you're going to teach me this spell that summons holy light elements?" Duke Bolvar and some of the priests and paladins present looked delighted.

They knew the power of the Holy Light elemental. If priests could summon a Holy Light elemental, they would have a bodyguard in melee combat, while paladins would have a healer with a priest by their side.

“That’s right, but mine is just the basic version, and your Holy Light can only summon one, and it only lasts for a few hours; it cannot exist permanently,” Rhodes said.

In order to ensure that this spell could be successfully passed on to ordinary paladins and priests and become a standard spell of the Holy Light faction, Rhodes and Anvina made considerable modifications together.

First, the Holy Light Elemental, which was originally over 4 meters tall, had the appearance of a beautiful woman, and had wings on its back, will become a pure Holy Light body that is only about 2 meters tall and has only a blurry human shape.

You can cast some basic spells of Paladins and Priests, but you can't use very advanced spells, such as Lay on Hands or Advanced Resurrection. However, you can use some basic spells like Flash of Light, Holy Shield, and Blessing.

“Even so, this will still be a great step forward for the Path of the Holy Light!” Duke Bolvar said excitedly, and the priests and paladins behind him nodded in agreement, their eyes filled with fervor.

The ability to summon a temporary Holy Light elemental with healing, buffing, and some defensive capabilities is a coveted ability for any clergyman. This essentially gives them a reliable, hands-free helper during adventures or battles.

“Then I will teach you this spell,” Rhodes said.

Now, through the link of the Holy Light, Rhode can directly inscribe the principles of this spell into the minds of these priests and paladins, allowing them to cast it. As for how others learn it, he'll let them learn using the most basic and rudimentary methods; he won't be responsible for anything else.

"Thank you for your trouble, Lord Rhodes."

Rhodes said nothing more. He closed his eyes, his body radiating a faint holy light, and extended his right index finger, touching Duke Bolvar's forehead.

"Relax your mind and accept the guidance of the Holy Light."

The golden light suddenly split into several thin golden streams, which precisely entered the foreheads of Bolvar and several other core priests.

In an instant, Bolvar and the others trembled slightly. Countless complex and incomprehensible golden runes and energy flow patterns flashed in their eyes. How to construct spell models, how to guide and shape the power of holy light, how to establish a brief but stable spiritual link with the summoned core of holy light energy... All the knowledge and insights of spells were deeply engraved in their minds like a brand, as if they had comprehended them on their own through countless trials.

"I...I really have it!"

"My God, I can't believe it, we actually mastered this spell!"

"Try this spell. You should be able to use it now," Rhodes said with a smile.

Bolvar nodded and cast the spell to summon the Holy Light element according to the magic circle in his mind. His spellcasting was incredibly smooth, and the Holy Light was summoned out of thin air, quickly condensing and taking shape.

In just a few seconds, a blurry humanoid figure, two meters tall and radiating a steady holy light, appeared in front of him.

This initial version of the Holy Light Elemental is even weaker than the Fire Elemental, but it is still a flying unit, so it's not unusable.

That's enough for ordinary adventurers, paladins, and priests.

Chapter 299 Fishing for the Black Dragon! The Birth of a New Lich King

Next, Rhodes used the same method to teach many high-level priests and paladins in Stormwind how to summon Holy Light elementals, greatly enhancing the power of the Holy Light faction.

At the banquet, countless paladins and priests thanked Rhodes repeatedly, praising his selfless act. Rhodes himself raised his glass, smiling as he toasted everyone.

King Varian observed all of this and sighed inwardly. It seemed that his hope of taking advantage of Lordaeron's apparent weakness to become the leader of the Alliance was extremely slim.

With Rhodes, such a powerful representative of the Holy Light, there's no way I could ever sit in that position; it can only belong to someone else.

Thinking of this, Varian looked at his son Anduin. Anduin was very talented and of noble status, but he was not a strong person in terms of personality.

He might be a good leader, but he would never compete with others for power. Oh well, children and grandchildren have their own destinies; Stormwind was like that before anyway.

His father's era is probably over, but as long as Rod is still alive, he will not lose his position as Grand Marshal of the League.

The banquet that evening went very smoothly. It wasn't until late at night that Rhodes, under Varian's arrangement, entered a guest room to rest with the female mage. The blue dragon girl, Anveena, and Fina were arranged to stay in another room.

The two didn't do anything out of line that night, after all, there was a huge third wheel in the house!

To prevent the black dragon princess from escaping, Rhodes had no choice but to keep her by his side at all times, leaving Jaina and Rhodes with no choice but to lie in bed and sleep.

Since leaving Quel'Thalas, they had been traveling in the wilderness, always inseparable, and Rhodes and Jaina hadn't had a chance to get intimate.

Jaina had been hoping to finally have some private time with Rhodes after arriving in Stormwind, but instead, a troublesome black dragon appeared.

This is so annoying! How long will this black dragon keep following Rhodes? It can't stay by their side forever, especially since they sleep in the same house.

The two of them can't stay insincerity forever!

"Lord Rhodes, you can do whatever you want. Just pretend I don't exist," Onyxia said with a half-smile, sitting to the side.

The young couple had an excess of hormones; he could smell it from a great distance. Dragons have very sensitive noses, and these two were probably planning to reproduce.

Rhodes shook his head. Although he did have a slight need under the influence of alcohol, he decided against performing in front of a female black dragon.

"Get some rest tonight, you can sleep in the other bed," Rod sighed and pointed to the bed by the door.

We need to find a way to develop a binding spell to control this black dragon princess; right now, I've only managed to subdue her by beating her.

"If you're too shy to go all out, the three of us can go together. It's not really impossible," Princess Onyxia said with a mysterious smile.

"Ahem, what are you thinking? Do you think I'm that kind of person?" Rod coughed awkwardly.

A female mage is absolutely out of the question; that girl wouldn't agree. But if it's a female elf, that's a different story. Caponia is quite the player.

“Really? That’s a real shame,” Onyxia said.

"Rhodes, why don't we send her to Teregosa?" the female mage said, her eyes darting around.

This female dragon has a very bad mindset. Dragons can change their appearance. Rhode may not like her current appearance, but if she were to become the type that Rhode likes, it would be incredibly easy for the black dragon.

I have a feeling that if I keep this black dragon around, my base will be raided. Actually, Rhodes isn't the only one who can keep an eye on this black dragon. A certain blue dragon lady is also very strong.

While he might not be able to beat the Black Dragon Princess in a one-on-one fight, the current Black Dragon Princess has been subdued by Rhodes. As long as he adds some insurance, it shouldn't be a big problem.

"what do you mean?"

"Rhodes, we can't let her stay here every night when we're resting!"

"Just send her to Terry's side. If you need an extra layer of security, you can send two of your Holy Light Angels to guard the gate. That way, you can ensure everything goes smoothly," the female mage said with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Rhodes' eyes lit up. "That's right, there's this trick too. The Archangel of Holy Light under my command isn't just for show."

"Wait here, I'll go tell Terry." Rhode nodded to the female mage and immediately left with Onyxia.
