"What is it?" came Ayanokouji's usual indifferent voice from the receiver.

Su Wei smiled and said, "Someone contacted me to buy information about the preliminary tests and the main competition. I'm also quite curious about one of these things, so I came to ask you."

There was silence on the other end of the phone.

After waiting for two or three seconds, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka seemed to confirm the "buyer's" identity in his mind before uttering a single word: "Speak."

Su Wei repeated Horikita Manabu's questions, and incidentally did him a favor:

"Oh, by the way, just a heads-up. In the Black Ball Space, GANTZ told us that S Points can be exchanged for 'Item Points' at a ratio of 1 to 500. I hope this information is helpful to you."

"......grateful."

Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, unusually, expressed his gratitude, and then truthfully recounted what he had seen and heard:

"As for those who did not have the extra life protection from the black ball... after the test failed, a red laser beam descended from the sky and hit them directly in the forehead."

"They were killed on the spot."

"Without any guarantee of their lives... Ryuji Kanzaki and Satoru Kaneda?"

Su Wei's eyelids twitched slightly.

He continued on the other end of the phone, "Is there anything you should tell the upperclassmen? I'm the student council president here. Anyway, that unimportant information will spread tomorrow, it can't be kept secret, so I might as well use it to exchange for some points, to make use of it."

Ayanokouji replied, "When the test rewards were announced, the other classes were still there, so it was impossible to keep it a secret. So, give me a share of the points you sold."

"No problem," Su Wei replied.

Ayanokouji continued:

"The winners will each receive 5 S-points, two privileges to avoid random interruptions, and one chance to revive."

"Furthermore, the black ball has given us some information—a 'mysterious merchant' will appear in the next special exam. Players can use item points to exchange for special rewards from him."

“I’m not sure if it means ‘next time’ when it says ‘next time’ or the exams for older students, or our next time. Could you ask the student council president to keep an eye out and, if they encounter the merchant during their exams, let us know what happened and the list of items for sale?”

"In exchange, I can give up my share of the commission."

After saying that, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji hung up the phone cleanly and decisively.

Hearing the busy tone on his phone, Su Wei shrugged helplessly and looked at Horikita Manabu, whose face was grave.

"Did you hear that? That's it, nothing more."

"Item points... The Mysterious Merchant? I understand."

Horikita Manabu kept this crucial information in mind.

"If I encounter the exam on Friday, I'll have Akane notify you. She'll add you on Line afterward, so remember to accept. Just tell her how many points you need for your share."

After Horikita finished explaining things, he seemed to be turning to leave.

Su Wei couldn't help but feel a little curious:

"I said, President."

"Let's not even talk about why you didn't inform me yourself and had to go through your secretary. With just this little bit of information, you could have easily asked Horikita Suzune and found out everything clearly, and it would have been much easier for you."

Su Wei looked him over with a half-smile:

"I don't look like the kind of horny, lustful person you'd see, do you? You don't really think I'm someone who falls in love with every girl I meet and would make a move on your secretary, do you?"

Horikita Manabu stopped and turned around.

His usually cold and dignified face showed signs of fatigue for the first time ever.

"I've already died once."

Horikita Manabu looked into his eyes:

"So I hope that if one day the Black Ball exam is no longer limited to a single grade, but is expanded to the entire school's teachers and students... if you encounter Tachibana Akane suffering in the exam room, you can take care of her a little."

"Her domestic affairs and support abilities are excellent; she probably won't hold you back."

Su Wei couldn't help but laugh after hearing this.

"What about Horikita Suzune?" Su Wei ruthlessly exposed his pretense. "Don't tell me you care more about a stranger with no blood relation than your own sister."

"Let's be honest, student council president. You came to me in the middle of the night for this so-called 'information exchange,' but your real purpose was for Horikita Suzune, wasn't it? You wanted me to give her preferential treatment during the exams."

Horikita Manabu stiffened for a moment after his thoughts were exposed to his face.

But he quickly regained his composure and turned to face the elevator door.

"I've already told her that whether she can survive in this school depends on her own fate."

"But if it were possible..."

Horikita Manabu's voice drifted in along the corridor breeze.

"I believe in your abilities. Rinne... I'm entrusting her to you as well."

Watching his righteous and awe-inspiring back, Su Wei suddenly took out his phone and waved it:

"Hey, I recorded everything you said just now. If you want to back out, I can delete it for you right now."

"random."
