Is the closed beta test of King of Loque over? The official release is here!

Chapter 131 Rewards

As an official, Xie Yun's pet level and combat experience are quite high. Both the Ink Cloud Leopard and the Stone Whirlwind are top-tier in terms of level and skill coverage.

Mo Fan wasn't surprised that someone like that wanted to challenge him.

But now is not the time.

"I'm going to Snowman Valley. We can PK again when I have time."

Mo Fan's answer was very direct.

Xie Yun raised an eyebrow slightly upon hearing this.

"Snowman Valley?"

A thoughtful look flashed in his eyes before he said, "You're trying to trigger some special Easter eggs, right? Don't waste your time, there aren't any special Easter eggs in there."

Xie Yun spoke with great certainty.

As an official, he naturally had far more information than ordinary players. Members of the Magic Defense Department also entered various new dungeons to explore after the update.

So far, it seems that the officials haven't found anything of value in Snowman Valley.

Wild pets include hogs and snow dolls.

The passages deep within the map require level 25 to enter, and the developers are still working on increasing the required level.

Apart from that, no special items or hidden easter eggs were found.

Xie Yun wasn't just saying this to appease Mo Fan. He genuinely believed that Snowman Valley didn't have anything particularly noteworthy at this stage.

But Mo Fan didn't take it seriously after hearing it.

"Not always."

Mo Fan's tone was calm, but the meaning behind his words was clear—he knew something that Xie Yun didn't.

Xie Yun's brows furrowed immediately.

He stared at Mo Fan for two seconds, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Is there something in Snowman Valley that I don't know about?"

Mo Fan did not answer.

But his silence itself is an answer.

Xie Yun's expression turned serious. He took a half step forward and lowered his voice.

"Mo Fan, how about we make a deal? Can you tell me what special things are in Snowman Valley? If so, we can discuss it later."

Xie Yun adopted a very humble attitude.

This was not easy for him—after all, he was the captain of the Magic Defense Department, in charge of a group of people, and he wasn't the type to easily ask for favors.

But he knew very well that in the new world of the Kingdom of Locke, information was far more valuable than face.

Especially the information possessed by beta testers like Mo Fan.

The previous experience in the ancient cocoa tree secret realm has already proven one point—Mo Fan knows far more than their official investigation revealed.

Mo Fan looked at Xie Yun and remained silent for a moment.

Then he shook his head.

"I'm not sure yet, we'll see when the time comes."

That's not entirely untrue.

Zhao Mingyuan triggered a unique reward by building a snowman, but Mo Fan really didn't know what would happen if he built a snowman himself. After all, Zhao Mingyuan received a reward that was "only available to the first player," and no one could say for sure whether there would be other rewards later.

Mo Fan didn't want to make any definitive statements before confirming the information.

Xie Yun's gaze lingered on Mo Fan's face for a moment.

He could tell that Mo Fan wasn't just making excuses for him.

This young man always speaks frankly; if he's unsure, he's unsure, and there's no need to lie about such things.

"Okay." Xie Yun nodded. "Then I'll wait for your news."

Mo Fan was about to turn and leave when he suddenly stopped.

He turned around and looked at Xie Yun.

"Also, if there's anything really good, I can tell you about it for free."

Xie Yun was taken aback.

Mo Fan's expression was calm, and his tone was also uneventful.

"Consider this repayment for the favor you did me in the ancient cocoa tree secret realm."

The secret realm of ancient cocoa trees.

On that occasion, if Xie Yun and Lin Mo hadn't arrived in time with their men to help them when they were surrounded, Mo Fan wouldn't have been completely defeated, but the process would have been much more difficult, and he might have even lost his fighting ability later on.

Mo Fan always remembered this favor.

He doesn't like owing people things.

If you can repay it, repay it as soon as possible.

Xie Yun was stunned for a moment upon hearing this, then the corner of his mouth twitched slightly.

It wasn't exactly a smile, but compared to his usual serious face, it was a rare change in expression.

"Alright, then I won't stand on ceremony," Xie Yun said.

Mo Fan nodded, said nothing more, and turned to walk towards the entrance of the secret realm.

Behind him, Lin Mo leaned close to Xie Yun and whispered, "Captain, do you think he really knows something?"

Xie Yun remained silent for a moment.

"Mo Fan wouldn't speak without reason."

He watched Mo Fan's departing figure, his eyes filled with a thoughtful expression.

“If he says he’s not sure, then he really hasn’t confirmed it yet. But since he dares to say ‘that’s not necessarily true,’ it means he at least has some clues.”

Lin Mo scratched his head: "Should we send someone to Snowman Valley again?"

"No rush." Xie Yun shook his head. "Since he said he would tell us, let's wait for his news."

He paused, then added.

"Instead of wasting time on uncertain things, let's finish the qualifying matches first. We haven't finished the five matches we played today."

Lin Mo responded and followed Xie Yun in another direction.

-

A white light flashed.

The perspective shifted again.

When Mo Fan opened his eyes, he was already standing in a white world.

Snowman Valley.

Fine snowflakes drifted down from the sky, landing on my shoulders and the tips of my hair.

The snow underfoot was thick and crunchy.

In the distance, the unfrozen river meanders along, its clear waters shimmering with a pale blue luster against the backdrop of white snow.

Several snoring pigs were dozing in the snow.

A snowman huddled beside a snowdrift not far away, its big eyes watching Mo Fan warily.

Mo Fan looked around, taking in the entire area.

It's exactly the same as the picture Zhao Mingyuan sent.

A vast expanse of white. Bare and bare. At first glance, it really doesn't seem particularly special.

No wonder Xie Yun and his group didn't find anything when they arrived—if they followed the normal exploration approach, they indeed couldn't find any trace of hidden Easter eggs here.

There were no unusual stones, no special trees, and no items emitting magical fluctuations.

Aside from wild animals, there's only snow.

Snow is everywhere.

"Build a snowman..."

Mo Fan muttered something under his breath, his gaze falling on the snow beneath his feet.

"Hopefully, this will trigger a reward."

Without hesitation, Mo Fan immediately squatted down, plunged his hands into the snow, and began to push the snow together.

He's from the north, but he's never built a snowman many times.

However, this did not stop him from trying.

Building a snowman is something anyone can do well if they put their heart into it.

The snow was soft and had good adhesion.

He first made a relatively large snowball as the base of the snowman. Then he made a medium-sized snowball and stacked it on top. Finally, he made a small snowball for the head.

Three snowballs were stacked together.

The design is very simple.

Chapter 132 Ice Spirit Fruit

It could even be described as somewhat rudimentary—it had no eyes, no nose, and no arms.

It's just three white snowballs of different sizes stacked together.

Mo Fan looked at his work and remained silent for two seconds.
