"Then what are we waiting for? Arrest them now!"

"Wait, wait, don't be impulsive, let's assess the situation first. What level are these wild pets? What if they're higher level than us? Wouldn't that be suicide?"

Mo Fan's gaze also turned towards the three pets.

The most numerous are the Gran seeds, about seven or eight in total, gathered together in groups.

Their appearance is more like a gourd than a seed—a small gourd with a face and slender arms and legs. Fern-like tentacles at the top sway gently in the wind. A pair of large, round eyes curiously observe these uninvited guests who have intruded into their territory.

【Grand Seeds】

[Type: Flying/Grass]

[Hobby: I love gazing at you intently.]

[Description: Has fern-like tentacles at the top. Has a sensitive personality, only unleashing its full power in times of crisis. Prefers to act in groups.]

Mo Fan was quite familiar with this pet.

The pet industry doesn't support idlers.

Pets available in the pet park during the closed beta period.

Aside from Meowth, Bouncing Seed, and Chillgrass, the only Grass-type Pokémon that can truly be called a god-tier Pokémon is Granseed.

Granseed's secondary evolution form is Granball, which has a low base stat total of only 450.

Among all pets, it can only be considered average.

But after Mega Evolution—its base stats can soar to over 640 points.

Furthermore, the original Wing-type attribute was removed, turning it into a pure Grass-type. However, the Wing-type moves were not removed; instead, many powerful support moves were added out of nowhere.

With abilities like Leap Strike, Photosynthesis, Green Illusion, Cotton Entanglement, and Parasitic Seed, Granseed was arguably one of the most troublesome support pets in the PVP environment during the closed beta.

Very strong.

Mo Fan's gaze then shifted to the second type of pet.

These pets are scattered sparsely on the edge of the Gran Seed Cluster, numbering only about three or four. They look somewhat like seals, but are entirely gray, and their most striking feature is the two enormous incisors in their mouths—just like the large incisors of a rat.

They were lying on the ground, gnawing at the rocks beside them with their two big front teeth, making a "crunching" sound.

[Mouse Otter]

[Type: Normal]

[Hobby: I like grinding my teeth, grinding my teeth, and grinding my teeth some more.]

[Synopsis: Two enormous incisors keep growing. To maintain their length, the dog constantly grinds them down with various materials.]

This pet can be described as a decorative pet.

It is indeed cute—a dusty, round body, two big front teeth paired with innocent eyes, it really does have a certain charm.

It just got a bit ugly after evolving.

The evolved form is called the Great Rat Otter. Not only did its size increase dramatically, but its overall appearance became extremely bloated, and its two incisors became even more exaggerated. During the closed beta, the Great Rat Otter was notorious for being both "ugly" and "useless."

It has low base stats, a lack of skills, and no Mega Evolution form.

It's the kind of pet that's not really recommended for breeding.

But then again—that was during the closed beta period. Now that games are integrated with reality, many things can no longer be viewed from a game perspective.

The last type of pet was a few small balls rolling around in the grass a little further away.

It can't be called a ball—it's just round.

It also has small, sharp spines all over its body, like a miniature cactus.

Of course, it's not the bouncy seed.

But -

【Diudiu】

[Type: Grass]

[Hobby: Likes to touch the thorns on her body with her little hands.]

[Description: The small thorns on its round body make it a force to be reckoned with. And only those who have fought it truly understand the danger of those thorns.]

As Mo Fan watched the few little creatures rolling around on the grass, memories of the beta testing period surfaced in his mind.

This pet was known as a beginner's best pet-catching tool during the closed beta.

the reason is simple.

During the closed beta, wild pets only had a limited amount of health. If you brought a high-level pet to capture a low-level wild pet, it was very likely that one skill would instantly defeat the opponent. With its health at zero and the pet stunned, it wouldn't be able to throw the Goo Ball.

But Diudiu has a skill called—compassion.

The effect of this skill is: if the damage dealt exceeds the opponent's remaining health limit, the excess will be automatically neutralized, leaving the opponent with only 1 HP.

In other words, no matter how high your attack power is, as long as you have compassion in your heart, you will never kill your opponent.

The opponent will always have 1 HP left.

At 1 HP, the success rate of catching Gulu Ball will be the highest.

Therefore, Diudiu is hailed as a powerful tool for catching pets.

During the closed beta, almost every player who was keen on collecting pets would always carry a Diudiu in their inventory.

(PS: Just to clarify, the final evolved form of this Diudiu is the rather abstract Kawa Chong from the world of Rock Kingdom.)

Meanwhile, the players' discussion grew louder and louder.

Do you think these pets can be captured?

"Since it has appeared, it should be able to be captured."

"I heard that some pets couldn't be captured during the closed beta."

"Furthermore, it's still unknown whether these pets can spawn like those in the secret realm dungeons."

"Who cares? Let's give it a try! If you guys aren't going to catch them, let me go first."

As soon as he finished speaking, a player with curly hair tried to take a step forward.

But he was immediately pulled back by the people next to him.

"Damn, what if these pets don't refresh and there are only a few left, and you manage to catch them all?"

"Exactly, why should you go first?"

"Everyone discovered it at the same time, who said it was first come, first served?"

Chapter 146 The Problem

"So, according to your logic, who goes first?"

After being pulled back, the curly-haired player muttered something in dissatisfaction.

A player wearing glasses looked around the depression and said, "Look at the number of pets here, quite a few. There are seven or eight Gran Seeds alone. What are you worried about? It's not like we won't have enough to go around."

Upon hearing this, the others exchanged glances, their tense expressions easing somewhat.

"It seems so."

"So who goes first?"

"Let's all come together!" the curly-haired player shrugged. "We can each choose one to capture, and see who chooses which. We can't possibly waste the whole day on this, can we?"

"Alright, let's all go together!"

The players reached a consensus and then selected their respective targets.

Interestingly, they all chose Granseed without prior arrangement—after all, the player wearing the baseball cap had just mentioned that Granseed has a Mega Evolution form, making it a top-tier support Pokémon.

In this situation, who would prioritize catching the lazy mouse or Diudiu?

Soon, several players took out their pets and started battling Granseed.

After the Granseed swarm was attacked, the unchosen individuals scattered in a panic, their fern-like tentacles flailing about, looking rather comical.

The chosen Gran Seeds, however, did not flee. Their eyes shifted from curiosity to wariness, and they began to unleash their skills in a counterattack.

However, the whole process went relatively smoothly.

Mo Fan observed from the low slope, silently estimating the level of these wild pets—approximately between level 12 and 15.

Judging from the pet levels of these players, although it's not an overwhelming victory, they are not difficult to deal with either.

Just then, one of the players had already reduced the HP of the Gran Seed in front of them to a low level.

The Gran Seed was already teetering on the brink of collapse, its fern tentacles drooping, and its round, big eyes looked pitiful.

"Eat my Goo-Goo-Ball!"

The player shouted excitedly, then took out a regular Gulu Ball from his backpack and threw it at the Gran Seed.

The ball flew in an arc and spun half a circle in the air.

The moment the Granseed's body was touched—

The ball popped open with a "pop," cracking open from the center and releasing a soft white light.

The light enveloped the Gran seeds.

The next second, Granseed's body turned into a ball of light and was sucked into the Gulu Ball.

"Click—"

The ball closed up, landed on the ground, and began to shake violently from side to side.

a bit.

Two times.

Three times.

"Ding--"

A crisp notification sound rang out.
