Is the closed beta test of King of Loque over? The official release is here!

After glancing at the female security guard, the male security guard said nothing more.

The vehicle was simply started.

But he knew it in his heart.

He's been in this line of work for many years and has seen through many things.

The female security officer was not so much stubborn as she was enforcing the law impartially.

Rather, it's more accurate to say that she carries a sense of superiority due to her official status, feeling that she is above others and that ordinary people should obey her orders.

And it is often this sense of superiority that exacerbates conflicts!

……

And in the dormitory.

After the two security guards left, Mo Fan and Zhao Mingyuan breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness you came, otherwise I would most likely have been arrested." Zhao Mingyuan plopped down in a chair.

"Is it because of the time you taught those bastards a lesson?" Mo Fan asked.

Zhao Mingyuan nodded.

Mo Fan seemed somewhat dejected after receiving an affirmative answer.

After a long silence, he said:

"I'm sorry to have dragged you into this."

Zhao Mingyuan waved his hand: "What do you mean by implicating them? I wanted to teach them a lesson, it has nothing to do with you. But what do we do next?"

Zhao Mingyuan was indeed a little worried that the Public Security Bureau would call a group of people.

"When soldiers come, we'll block them; when water comes, we'll dam it." That was the only answer Mo Fan could give.

"Don't think too much about it. Let's go back to my rented place together. That way, we can look after each other."

Zhao Mingyuan nodded.

……

the other side.

Inside a conference room, the officials began another meeting.

"Gentlemen, there is a new issue that urgently needs to be discussed."

That is, how should we handle the rights and interests of the strong and ordinary people after the arrival of the extraordinary era?

Admittedly, pursuing fairness and justice is not wrong.

But this new era is destined to be one where the strong reign supreme.

Violent incidents of varying severity have now occurred in various regions.

As he spoke, several videos were displayed on the conference room screen.

Some videos show people using pets to cause damage or even commit robbery.

Other videos depict victims being bullied and forced to fight back.

One of the scenes involves Zhao Mingyuan using a small T-shirt to attack Xu Fei and his friends.

Chapter 26 The Magic Defense Department and the Major Guilds

"Some of these violent incidents are acts of arbitrarily relying on strength, while others are simply forced retaliations after being bullied."

I believe that these violent incidents cannot all be suppressed by the authorities with strong measures, as this may only lead to more intense conflicts.

Therefore, I believe that those violent incidents where people rely on their power to do whatever they want should be forcefully suppressed by the authorities to serve as a warning to others.

However, for other events, I believe we need to consider the actual situation and analyze each specific problem in its specific context.

In short, all of this is for a smoother transition and adaptation to this new era.

What do you all think?

Inside the meeting room, everyone quickly finished voting and expressed their agreement.

"very good.

Then, there is one more thing.

If our government wants to remain at the forefront of this new era, it needs to build its own strong team.

But this team cannot be scattered; we need to establish a new department to integrate this force.

This department will now specialize in conquering secret dungeons and training powerful pets.

According to the information we have gathered from the closed beta, the world of Rock Kingdom is a world made of magic.

So our department will be called the Magic Defense Department.

Upon hearing the name of the department, everyone in the meeting room nodded.

The man sitting in the head seat then said:

"This department not only needs to train our own people, but also needs to find ways to recruit talents from the private sector and make them our people."

Then he asked the crowd:

"By the way, have you found the list of players who obtained unique pets during the closed beta, which I asked you to investigate last time?"

Upon hearing this, one of the people below replied:

"We have no way of finding information about beta testers."

The game "Roco Kingdom" seems to have hidden all the information.

However, we have been searching for information about people with special pets through offline means, and we have now identified some beta testers and their pets.

For example, the owner of the Sacred Azure Dragon pet is one of our officials!

As he spoke, the person operated the screen.

On the screen, a figure appeared, and behind that figure floated a green, chubby caterpillar.

Upon hearing this, the person in the head seat nodded.

"We need to find a way to recruit those beta testers into the Magic Defense Department. Of course, we can't just recruit anyone; we need to assess their character."

"If there are no further questions, this meeting will conclude here. We can discuss any further matters later."

……

Following the official decision, notifications were sent to various cities and departments. These departments all received the official notifications.

Public Security Bureau of Yunhai City.

After the two security guards explained the situation involving Zhao Mingyuan and Mo Fan, the Public Security Bureau, having received the official resolution, decided to handle the matter in accordance with the official requirements.

"The impact of this matter is not too serious, so let's put it aside for now. Let the Magic Defense Department handle it after it is officially established."

The female security guard was somewhat annoyed, but the male security guard breathed a sigh of relief.

It would be best if the conflict hadn't escalated to an irreconcilable point.

……

Early the next morning.

Inside the apartment, on the bed by the window, Mo Fan opened his eyes.

Sunlight streamed in from outside.

Nothing happened that night; they did not receive any arrests from the police.

Last night, he stayed up until midnight. He was waiting for the police to arrive, and also absorbing Locke Bay's resources.

He spent half the night absorbing all twenty Locke Bays.

At this moment, his mage level also successfully broke through to the next level.

【Mo Fan】

[LV: 1 (10/20)]

After breaking through to the next level in his magic, Mo Fan felt that his body had undergone some subtle and inexplicable changes, as if he had become stronger.

"I guess we'll have to wait until the next version update," Mo Fan thought to himself.

However, he was puzzled as to why no one from the police department had come to cause trouble.

"Are they short-handed? Or are they letting us go? Or are they preparing another operation?"

Mo Fan pondered this in his heart.

He went online and checked some recent news.

And the most eye-catching news item above is—

The official Magic Defense Department has been established and will begin recruiting staff soon!

Below this news article, many people are discussing it.

"The Magic Defense Department? That's an official department. Joining it would mean getting a government job?"

"What are the application requirements? My pet is already level two, can I join?"

"I'm a beta tester, can you recruit me?"

"Holy crap, I've caught a beta tester! Hey pro, can you add me on the contact list and teach me a thing or two?"

It's not just the government that has established such special departments; even some large organizations and conglomerates have begun to implement certain reforms.

They didn't establish a special department, but rather a guild similar to those in a game.

Tencent recently established a Pioneer Guild and is now inviting individuals with pets to join, with priority given to beta testers. Internal members can share various beta test information!

[XX Group recently established the Dawn Guild, and beta testers can join with priority.]

[The Evil God Guild is now established, and we invite all beta testers to join!]

[The Law King Guild is now established and invites all beta testers to join! Excellent salary and benefits, with an extra five Locke Coins per month.]
