Chapter 286: Entering the Second Round, Adjusting the Rate of Fire

Six seconds.

The time was not long.

But now is the perfect time to unleash the laser cannon.

Mo Fan quickly rotated the turret.

Not far from him, there were six or seven treasure chest turtles gathered together.

Several of them have already been hit by ordinary shells from surrounding players.

Mo Fan aimed the cannon at the area where the sea turtles were most concentrated in the treasure chest.

"Laser cannon".

hum-

The dark gold turret suddenly trembled.

The dazzling golden light quickly converged along the patterns on the surface of the turret, eventually focusing entirely on the front cannon barrel.

next second.

boom!

A golden laser beam, as thick as an arm, shot out from the cannon's muzzle.

The laser beam instantly pierced through a large body of water.

The seawater along the way was forcibly parted, and violent ripples spread outwards in all directions.

As soon as the treasure chest turtle at the very front came into contact with the laser, a faint golden light began to appear on its body.

The laser was not blocked by its shell.

Instead, it pierced directly through its body and continued to hit the second and third treasure chest turtles behind it.

Mo Fan placed his hands on either side of the turret and quickly adjusted the laser direction.

Rumbling--

A golden laser swept across.

Several treasure-hunting turtles nearby were completely enveloped within the enclosure.

The first second.

The treasure-chest turtles continued to swim.

The second second.

Their movement speed has slowed down significantly.

At the third second, the two treasure chest turtles that were first hit by the laser suddenly burst into a dazzling light on their bodies.

next moment.

The two treasure-chest turtles, along with the golden treasure chests behind them, simultaneously transformed into numerous points of light, quickly merging into the turret in front of Mo Fan.

[Successfully captured 2 Treasure Chest Turtle.]

Points earned: 400.

Mo Fan did not stop.

The remaining duration of the laser cannon is rapidly decreasing.

[Time remaining: 3 seconds.]

[Time remaining: 2 seconds.]

He controlled the laser to continue sweeping.

The third treasure chest turtle just happened to swim into the laser's range.

Then came the fourth one.

The fifth one!

Numerous pale golden rays of light rose one after another.

One by one, the treasure chest turtles turned into points under the laser bombardment.

[Successfully captured 1 Treasure Chest Turtle.]

Points earned: 200.

[Successfully captured 2 Treasure Chest Turtle.]

Points earned: 400.

In just six seconds, Mo Fan's points began to increase rapidly at a visible speed.

After six seconds, the golden laser in the cannon muzzle dissipated.

The energy tank beneath the turret, which had been completely filled, has once again become dim.

[Turret Energy: 0%]

Mo Fan didn't care.

He immediately switched back to regular shells and aimed them at the nearby treasure chest turtles that had been weakened by the laser but had not yet been successfully captured.

boom!

Boom!

Ordinary shells were fired in succession.

One of the treasure chest turtles was reduced to specks of light after being hit by two cannonballs.

[Successfully captured 1 Treasure Chest Turtle.]

Points earned: 200.

This is clearly the effect of the laser beam from earlier.

Even without capturing the target on the spot, the laser cannon had already significantly weakened those treasure chest turtles.

Other players nearby who had already accumulated enough energy also unleashed their laser cannons.

However, it seems that the colors are different in order to make them distinct, with beams of different colors blasting out from the turret.

Some are gold.

Some are crimson red.

There was also a laser beam that even had an eerie dark purple hue.

The entire fishing ground was instantly covered by a large amount of light.

The crisscrossing laser beams continuously pierced through the school of fish.

One after another, the treasure chests and sea turtles turned into points.

As for those players who failed to activate the laser cannon, they did not give up the fight either.

"Special shells!"

One of the players shouted.

The gun emplacement in front of him suddenly lit up with a crimson light.

The next second, a shell burning with raging flames blasted into the water.

boom!

Large flames exploded in the seawater.

The flames were not extinguished by the seawater; instead, they spread rapidly, engulfing the three treasure chest turtles around them at the same time.

In front of another gun emplacement.

A cannonball crackling with silver electric arcs was launched with a roar.

After the shell hit the target, a dense array of lightning bolts spread rapidly.

Several treasure chest turtles nearby stiffened and their movement slowed significantly.

Another player released a special projectile that instantly transformed into a large number of vines.

The emerald green vines grew rapidly in the seawater, instantly wrapping around a treasure chest turtle and fixing it in place.

flame.

lightning.

vine.

Frost.

There was even a huge steel gear spinning at high speed in the seawater, slicing through the bodies of several treasure chest turtles.

The effects are varied and diverse.

Clearly, all of these special projectiles come from the pets owned by the players.

In an instant, the entire fishing grounds descended into complete chaos.

Bubbles produced by the explosion of a shell.

The trail left by the laser as it cuts through the seawater.

The magical effects released by various special cannonballs almost completely submerged the central waters.

Everyone is trying to accumulate points as quickly as possible.

No one wanted to waste this opportunity.

The reward wave didn't last long.

From the appearance of the first treasure chest turtle to the disappearance of the last treasure chest turtle, only about thirty-five seconds elapsed.

The first round of rewards has ended.
