Is the closed beta test of King of Loque over? The official release is here!

The target was successfully captured twice.

On several other occasions, other players stole the final blow.

Overall, his gains still exceeded his expenditures.

Moreover, Mo Fan gradually discovered a pattern.

Special bonus fish do not appear completely randomly.

Whenever a wave of fish is about to end and the next wave is about to begin, the number of bonus fish in the fishing grounds will increase significantly.

The end of a small fish wave.

Crimson seahorses, white jade seahorses, and silver-boxed sea turtles appeared one after another.

After these special targets disappeared, the small fish in the central waters quickly scattered in all directions.

Instead, a large number of medium-sized fish have taken their place.

"During the transition between waves, there are more reward objectives."

Mo Fan silently noted this down.

this means.

When the medium-sized fish wave is about to enter the large-sized fish wave, special fish should appear once more.

There is even a possibility that a more valuable target may emerge.

Just then.

Suddenly, a noticeable ripple appeared in the deep sea ahead.

A group of medium-sized fish seemed to be startled and quickly scattered to both sides.

Immediately afterwards, a huge black shadow slowly emerged from the deep water.

The dark figure was at least seven or eight meters long.

It far exceeds all the fish species that have ever appeared in the fishing grounds.

The sharp, triangular dorsal fin sliced through the seawater.

Its grayish-white body surface is covered with dark lines.

When it came into full view, the surrounding artillery fire paused briefly.

"shark?"

"So big?"

"How many cannon shots would it take to capture it?"

It was a huge shark.

When it opens its mouth, you can clearly see two rows of sharp teeth.

The surrounding small fish all scurried away.

Even some medium-sized fish that are over two meters long dare not approach it.

A message appeared above the shark.

Deep-sea shark

There is no other explanation besides the name.

Judging from its size alone, this deep-sea shark can withstand far more cannonballs than ordinary large fish.

For a moment, no one made a move.

In the first round, some players had already suffered losses against ordinary sea turtles.

A larger target does not necessarily mean a higher return.

If hundreds of cannonballs are used to catch a deep-sea shark, and only a few dozen points are obtained in the end, then the person who made the attempt will inevitably lose everything.

not to mention.

Deep-sea sharks are a public target.

No matter how many shells you deploy, someone else might still get the last shot.

Everyone was watching and observing.

After the deep-sea shark swam past several turrets, one player finally couldn't hold back any longer.

"Give it a try!"

boom!

Ordinary shells were fired.

The shell accurately hit the side of the deep-sea shark.

A large number of bubbles surged.

The deep-sea shark merely flicked its tail slightly and continued swimming forward.

The player gritted his teeth and fired again.

boom!

Boom!

Several ordinary shells hit their targets in succession.

Seeing this, others nearby also joined the attack.

They did not fire continuously.

Each person fired only one or two shells, seemingly wanting to observe the deep-sea shark's defenses first.

In the blink of an eye.

The deep-sea shark then endured more than thirty ordinary cannonballs.

However, its movement speed did not change at all.

"That's way too much health."

Someone frowned and decisively stopped the attack.

Some, unwilling to waste the shells they had already fired, continued their pursuit.

The number of shells quickly exceeded 100.

The pale golden sheen on the surface of the deep-sea shark's body finally became more apparent.

"almost!"

One player's eyes lit up.

He immediately adjusted the turret to four times the firing rate.

Bang bang bang!

A barrage of ordinary artillery shells was fired in succession.

However, the deep-sea shark has still not been caught.

Just then, another gun emplacement suddenly lit up with a silvery-white light.

The player clearly realized that the deep-sea shark had already endured enough attacks.

If we continue to use ordinary shells, someone else may snatch the final blow.

He no longer hesitated.

"Thunderbolt!"

boom!

A special projectile wrapped in dense electric arcs was launched with a roar.

The shell accurately hit the head of the deep-sea shark.

A burst of silvery-white lightning erupted instantly.

Numerous electric arcs spread outwards along the deep-sea shark's body.

The deep-sea shark suddenly thrashed its body.

The nearby seawater was churning violently.

But after a moment, its massive body still emitted a dazzling pale golden light.

Immediately afterwards, the entire shark transformed into numerous points of light, merging into the turret in front of the player.

[Successfully captured a deep-sea shark x1.]

Points earned: 1000.

Chapter 289 1000 point

Upon seeing the reward, the entire fishing ground fell silent for a brief moment.

Immediately afterwards, exclamations rang out one after another.

"One thousand points?!"

"Holy crap, that's awesome!"

"A single shark can provide a thousand points!"

"This is equivalent to five treasure chest turtles!"

"However, its defense is indeed quite high. It just took at least forty or fifty ordinary shells."

"The damage from that last special shell was also considerable."

"Without highly lethal special shells, it would be difficult to secure the final blow."

The player who caught the deep-sea shark was beaming with excitement.

Even though he had already invested a lot of shells, the gain of 1,000 points still far exceeded the expenditure.
