[White-browed Little Ape Level Up: Level 1 → Level 10!]

Chapter 65 Vanguard Guild

Zhao Mingyuan looked at the level of the White-browed Little Ape on the panel and was so satisfied that he almost spun around on the spot.

He went straight from level one to level ten.

This saved him a lot of trouble.

The light in the hot spring pool completely faded, the water became calm, and the energy fluctuations subsided.

The white-browed ape sat in the shallow water, tilting its head and looking around.

It finds everything in this world new and exciting.

A short, stubby arm stretched out of the water, trying to catch the last wisp of light in the air. It failed, then looked down at its own palm with a puzzled expression.

His two long white eyebrows drooped slightly, and with his round, golden eyes, he looked exactly like a little old man who had just woken up.

Zhao Mingyuan squatted by the pool, looking at the white-browed ape's appearance, and couldn't help but reach out and poke its forehead.

The white-browed ape looked up and met Zhao Mingyuan's gaze.

The man and the ape stared at each other for three seconds.

The white-browed ape suddenly grinned, revealing two small tiger teeth, and then grabbed Zhao Mingyuan's outstretched arm, hanging its whole body on it.

"Alright, alright, stop hanging up, your arm's going to break." Zhao Mingyuan complained, but he couldn't suppress the smile on his face.

He took an empty Gulu Ball from his waist and waved it in front of the white-browed ape.

"From now on, you're with me."

The white-browed ape tilted its head, looked at Gulu Ball, then at Zhao Mingyuan, seemingly deep in thought.

Then it released Zhao Mingyuan's arm and took the initiative to extend a short, stubby hand, patting the Gulu Ball.

With a flash of red light, the white-browed ape transformed into a stream of light and disappeared into the sphere.

The ball wobbled slightly.

With a "ding," the contract was completed.

[Congratulations to player Zhao Mingyuan for successfully taming the pet White-browed Ape!]

Zhao Mingyuan looked at the Gulu Ball in his hand, feeling great and beaming with joy.

"Alright, from now on I'm a man with three pets."

Mo Fan then focused his gaze on the hot spring pool.

Even after the seven pets absorbed all the magical essence that had accumulated for an unknown period of time, the hot spring did not dry up.

The pool water was still clear, but there were no more specks of light floating on it, and the mist had become extremely thin.

The notification on the panel has been refreshed.

[Pet Hot Spring: Capacity limit unchanged, grants 50 experience points per hour. Has a healing effect on injured pets.]

Zhao Mingyuan raised an eyebrow: "So this means that after we've absorbed all the essence we've accumulated over the years, it's returned to normal?"

Looking at the hot spring panel, Feng Ling'er analyzed, "Under normal circumstances, it provides 50 experience points per hour, and also has a healing effect."

Although experience is limited, the advantage lies in the continuity of this resource.

“If you occupy it long-term, the profits will be considerable,” Mo Fan replied.

If you use up all three daily dungeon attempts and then spend the rest of your time soaking in this hot spring, your pets below level 20 will level up very quickly.

But then, Mo Fan shook his head.

"Unfortunately, we don't know if this hidden wilderness will close down, and the three of us can't hold this resource point. Sooner or later, more people will come looking for it."

He saw it very clearly.

The value of hot springs is undeniable, and the benefits of the "first come, first served" model have already been fully realized.

The remaining regular returns are decent, but not worth having three people stuck here as targets.

Moreover, the other major guilds are not to be underestimated.

The three of them had just repelled only a small squad.

"The game 'Roco Kingdom' is essentially about partners and adventures, bonds and growth."

Going it alone, being a lone wolf, is ultimately not a long-term solution...

Mo Fan pondered this in his heart.

In a short while, he had a vague idea.

But now is not the time to think about that.

Mo Fan turned his gaze back to the pet hot spring.

At present, the most useful thing for them is this healing effect.

Both Fire Dragon and Elegant Swan sustained some damage in the recent battle.

Although it's not too heavy, it'll be enough for the upcoming battles.

But it's never as good as being at its peak.

"Let's hurry up and get the injured pet treated."

As he spoke, Mo Fan took out the Gulu Ball.

A burst of white light erupted, and a fiery dragon flapped its wings and landed beside the hot spring.

It was hit by a high-pressure jet in a previous battle with the Cloud Sea Guild. Although the injury was not serious, its HP did drop significantly.

"Let's go to the hot springs to heal our wounds."

Without saying a word, Fire Dragon folded its wings and glided into the hot spring pool.

The moment the water submerged the dragon's body, a very faint halo rose from the surface and slowly enveloped the Fire Dance Dragon's wounds.

Visibly, the mark on the wing caused by the water jet is slowly healing.

HP is slowly recovering.

Feng Ling'er didn't speak, but the magnificent swan had already been released by her and quietly stepped into the hot spring.

The traces of battle remaining on the feathers gradually faded in the shimmering water.

Zhao Mingyuan did not allow the pet to receive treatment.

After all, the T-shirt has already been updated in the recent upgrade.

The three of them then rested there for the time being.

......

East side of the secret realm.

The battle for the canyon's mineral veins has come to an end.

Xie Yun stood with his hands behind his back on the rock, looking down at the team members who were mining ore, his expression unchanged.

but--

It's not just official personnel mining ore here.

Members of the Vanguard Guild were also present.

As for the reason, it is also very simple.

They did have a conflict before.

However, Xie Yun discovered that although the Vanguard Guild members were weaker than them overall, they were not pushovers.

The leader of this vanguard guild team is also a beta tester, and one who has also chosen a pet.

After exchanging blows for a few rounds, they realized that their opponents were tough nut to crack.

Both sides understood that if they really continued fighting regardless of the consequences...

In the end, it will only result in both sides suffering losses.

The secret realm has not yet been fully explored, and if it really ends in a lose-lose situation, it is obviously not a good thing.

Xie Yun, as a member of the Magic Defense Department, actually harbored a sense of pride.

However, for the sake of official interests, after weighing the pros and cons, he finally sat down to negotiate.

The final conclusion is...

Seventy-three points.

The official team took seven points, while the vanguard team took three.

Then, Lin Mo took a piece of mined ore and handed it to Xie Yun.

[Magic Ore: In the current version, some Stone-type pets can use it to increase experience points. Other uses will be available in future updates.]

Xie Yun asked, "Approximately how much ore is there?"

Lin Mo shook his head: "The amount of reserves here is still unclear."

In addition, this ore is very difficult to mine; only certain pets can mine it.

However, the shallower ones are easier to collect; after dividing them into seven or three, we estimate we can gather about ten or twenty pieces.

Xie Yun nodded upon hearing this.

At this moment, the team leader of the Vanguard Guild's squad walked towards Xie Yun.

"My name is Rukawa. I haven't asked your names yet." Rukawa looked like a very composed young man, wearing blue clothes, with a neat and handsome hairstyle, and a faint smile on his face.

He also had a pet with him.
