Is the closed beta test of King of Loque over? The official release is here!

The difficulty of the climb has clearly increased to a higher level.

Many players ran into problems while climbing – some slipped, some missed their footing, some were accidentally knocked down by others, and several fell down with a thud.

Although his body was enhanced, and he had a pet to help him with its skills, and there were branches and leaves to cushion the fall, he was not going to die.

But falling from such a height is bound to be extremely painful.

Mo Fan and his two companions were still among the fastest.

About three minutes later.

Mo Fan was the first to climb onto the edge of the second-level platform.

Then—he stopped.

Before them stretched a semi-transparent light curtain.

The light curtain is pale gold with fine patterns flowing across its surface, completely separating the second platform from the climbing path.

A prompt appeared on the panel.

[Second Layer - Hierarchical Barrier]

[Requirement: You must have at least one pet that is level 15 or higher.]

Players who do not meet the requirements cannot pass through this barrier.

Chapter 75 Growing Fruit Tree

Level 15.

Mo Fan glanced at the numbers on the panel, and without any hesitation, stepped inside.

[Ding, your level meets the requirements, you are allowed to proceed.]

A ripple of pale golden light spread across his body, then parted to make way for him.

Fire Dragon followed closely behind, its crimson body passing through the light barrier without any hindrance.

Feng Ling'er and Zhao Mingyuan both passed smoothly.

This level was not an obstacle for the three of them at all.

The moment I passed through the light curtain, my field of vision suddenly opened up.

The structure of the second layer is completely different from that of the first layer.

If the first floor is like a circular plaza, then the second floor is more like a series of walkways extending in all directions.

Several main branches radiate outward from the central fork, each three to four meters wide, with the moss on the surface much thinner than the first layer, revealing the rough texture of the bark.

The cocoa pods hung scattered on the ends and side branches of these branches.

The quantity is significantly less than that of the first layer.

This is normal.

The higher up a tree's canopy goes, the smaller its horizontal area becomes, and naturally, the fewer branches it can bear fruit on.

However, the color of the fruit is distinctly different from that of the first layer—it is no longer a pale green, but a deeper, richer emerald green, with faint flowing lines visible on the surface.

The quality has improved to the point that it is visible to the naked eye.

“The fruit on this layer looks more valuable than the ones on the bottom.” Zhao Mingyuan rubbed his hands together.

Mo Fan didn't reply, his gaze quickly sweeping over the surrounding terrain.

Currently, there are only the three of them on the second floor.

But this window of opportunity won't last long.

Elite teams from the major guilds below can also pass through the barrier as long as they have pets of level 15 or higher.

"Hurry up, let's make the most of the time."

The three chose a direction and hurried along a main branch that extended southeast.

The branches were wide enough for three people to walk side by side, with no railings on either side, and the view below was dozens of meters high. The wind blew in through the gaps in the leaves, carrying a bitter, grassy scent.

About thirty meters ahead, a cluster of side branches was laden with seven or eight emerald-green cocoa fruits, swaying gently in the breeze.

Zhao Mingyuan's eyes lit up, and he quickened his pace.

"and many more."

Mo Fan reached out and stopped him.

Zhao Mingyuan was taken aback: "What's wrong?"

Mo Fan's gaze did not fall on the cocoa fruits, but instead fixed on the intersection of branches below the fruits.

The air there—is distorted.

The distortion is so subtle that it is almost imperceptible unless you look closely.

next second.

A beam of light condensed from the surface of the branch, as if it were growing out of the bark.

The light quickly took shape, and the outline became clear from its blurry state.

The figure of a pet appeared out of thin air in front of the three of them.

Its appearance is very special - it looks like a miniature tree with a round trunk, two round eyes, and a lush green canopy on top, which looks like a carefully styled hairstyle.

She was also holding a purple fruit in her hand.

In addition, its size is much larger than that of a pet in its initial form.

A panel of information pops up.

[Growing Fruit Trees]

[Level: 18]

HP: 1000

[Attribute: Grass]

[Hobby: Selfless dedication yields fruitful results.]

[Description: With her unique hairstyle, she's a master of cuteness wherever she goes.]

Zhao Mingyuan: "...One thousand health points?"

He gasped.

It's important to know that most of the wild pets they've ever seen, even the garrison pets in the game, have at most two or three hundred HP.

One thousand—that's already considered a mini-boss.

And its level of 18 is even higher than that of most players' ace pets in the secret realm.

No wonder the system message said "Defeat the guardian spirit".

This thing is the guardian of the cocoa fruit.

The growing fruit tree slowly opened its round eyes, its face expressionless, but two vine-like arms had already stretched out from its sides.

The bark on the ground began to crack, and tiny vines sprouted from the cracks, spreading towards the three of them.

It made no sound.

But the meaning is clear—either retreat or fight.

Mo Fan naturally did not back down.

Now that we've come this far, what reason is there to back down?

"Change the pet, change it to one with a counter-attribute." His voice was brief and decisive.

The three of them moved almost simultaneously.

Wind Chime retrieved Doling, and the white light of the Gulu Ball flashed on and off. Immediately afterwards, another Gulu Ball was thrown.

A figure made of flames, wearing a spiked collar around its neck.

Spark, LV.17 – Appearing immediately!

Zhao Mingyuan also took back the small T-shirt.

While the Little T-shirt's Wing-type moves can also counter the Longfruit Tree's Grass-type moves, its Fierce-type moves cannot resist Grass-type moves.

Therefore, he switched to a guard dog.

The protective dog landed on all fours, its body tense, and growled as it stared at the moving tree ahead.

Mo Fan doesn't need to change—the Fire Dance Dragon is already outside.

Grass-type boss, Fire-type is weak to it.

This is the most basic attribute suppression.

However, it is unwise to simply rely on brute force when facing a target with 1000 HP.

Mo Fan did not hesitate.

"Fire Dragon Dance, Flame Vortex. Apply burn first."

The Fire Dance Dragon thrust its head forward, spewing out a swirling ball of flame from its mouth, precisely burning various parts of the growing fruit tree.

The continuous burn effect from the Flame Vortex takes effect immediately.

On the panel, the HP of the growing fruit tree begins to decrease slowly at a fixed percentage.

This tactic was the standard way to deal with high-HP bosses in the gaming era—it deals percentage-based damage, is unaffected by defense, and is unaffected by level differences.

The thicker the blood, the more painful the burning sensation.

Zhao Mingyuan immediately understood what Mo Fan was doing.

Boss battles are not about burst damage, but about attrition.

"Guardian Hound, defensive power!"

The dog's entire body was enveloped in a pale golden light.
