"I never agreed to break up!" Mori stared at Ito, emphasizing each word. "So, strictly speaking, your current situation can only be considered—"

"Cheating!"

Under Ito's shocked gaze, Mori reached out and smashed the hamburger that Uncle Kitajima had brought over, creating a small dent, with ketchup splattering onto the fries next to it.

......

Hibiya Higher School is empty and quiet during the holidays.

Sunlight streamed through the tall windows into an event room that had been temporarily used as a celebration venue.

A long table was pieced together and filled with various foods and drinks.

The original plan was to hold it in the more familiar film club classroom, but there was too much clutter there, making it impossible to move around freely.

In addition to the core members who participated in the stage play, Sae Nagano also made an unexpected appearance here.

The reason for the celebration was quite good: their stage play, "Edo Yokai Love Manual," won first place in the Blue Bird Theater's assessment and successfully secured prime time slots and performances.

At the same time, thanks to this outstanding performance, the film club completely escaped the crisis of being disbanded.

Fujikawa Kaze, his face flushed with excitement, held up a juice glass and exclaimed in a slightly choked voice, "We did it! We didn't let our seniors down!"

It's clear that as the president, he's been under tremendous pressure lately.

Yingyingli seemed to have secretly tasted some sweet wine; her little face was flushed, and she leaned drunkenly against Xia Rikui, muttering incoherent nonsense.

Yoshida Nai somehow found a simple fox costume and put it on. She excitedly shouted that she wanted to dance an impromptu dance, but was stopped by everyone.

Let's skip this kind of show!

Rin Iketani remained as quiet as ever, intently "competing" with the wasabi sauce in a plate of sushi.

Naoto Shinno seemed a bit troubled. He privately told Ito that because of the success of the stage play, his family's plans for him had changed, and they hoped that he could develop in the entertainment industry, which made his dream of studying painting abroad seem to be one step further away.

Looking at the lively scene in the activity room and the relaxed and joyful expressions on his friends' faces, Ito couldn't help but feel relaxed as well.

He picked up his chopsticks and aimed at the last piece of tuna sushi on the table, which looked very plump.

However, a faster hand reached out and snatched the sushi away first.

Ito looked up and saw Rie Totsugi winking at him triumphantly before stuffing sushi into her mouth and chewing it exaggeratedly.

Ito smiled helplessly, too lazy to argue with this teacher who had a childlike personality, and turned his attention to another plate of sushi.

The fact that the other party was a mentor certainly provided a lot of help to the stage play.

Just then, Asada Sakura quietly came over, picked up the last piece of tuna sushi with her chopsticks, and held it to Ito's lips, "Yasuhito, try this."

Ms. Toji suddenly lost interest in the sushi in her mouth, and muttered sourly, "Hmph, thank goodness it's the last one..."

Her gaze also drifted, intentionally or unintentionally, to Chinatsu Moriue, who was sitting on the other side of Ito.

Mori was eating the food on his plate, his face revealing no particular emotion, or more accurately, an aura of confidence.

Just then, there was a gentle knock on the sliding door of the activity room.

The door was pulled open, and two people appeared at the same time: Nagano Sae and... another maid carrying a thermal bag with the logo of a high-end sushi restaurant?

At almost the same time, Mori waved towards the door, and another person dressed in a suit, who looked like a butler, walked in carrying a similar food box.

“Here.” Nagano Sae and Mori Kami spoke at the same time.

Two boxes of expensive-looking luxury sushi were placed on the table, which was already piled high with food.

In an instant, the atmosphere in the activity room became somewhat subtle.

Fujikawa and the others looked at the two boxes of sushi that were clearly beyond the students' spending power, and then at Nagano and Mori, who looked perfectly normal, and wisely chose to bury their heads in their food.

Yoshida Nai and Natsumi Aoi exchanged a knowing look.

Asada subconsciously moved closer to Ito.

Just as the two boxes of deluxe sushi were placed on the table, in that awkward moment, Yoshida Nai nudged Natsumi beside her with her elbow, lowered her voice, and said with undisguised excitement, "Hey, did you see that? This is the real show!"

Summer Sunflower suppressed a laugh and whispered, "It seems today's meal is destined to be extraordinary."

"To be honest, I felt quite guilty last time, but judging from the current situation, perhaps I am still Ito's benefactor." Yoshida Nai looked at Ito.

Ito held his chopsticks, his gaze shifting back and forth between the two boxes of sushi and Asada and Mori beside him, and cold sweat seemed to be trickling down his forehead.

Asada stood close to him, as if to assert her dominance, while Mori took a tissue and wiped Ito's mouth.

"Uh..." Ito opened his mouth, trying to break the awkward silence, "Um... thank you so much, Chairman Nagano and Mori-gami, for your kindness. Everyone, please don't be shy, have a taste?"

His voice sounded a little dry.

As the club president, Fujikawa Kaze tried to ease the tension and quickly smoothed things over, saying, "Today is worth celebrating! Don't waste President Nagano and Mori-chan's kindness!"

Although the expression of envy on his face when he said this was beyond words.

As he spoke, he reached out and opened the food box, and a rich aroma immediately filled the air.

Ryota Miura leaned closer for a look, "This...this must be expensive, right?"

Sae Nagano glanced at the food box indifferently. "My father happens to be acquainted with the shop owner. Hearing that the club had achieved excellent results, he was just expressing his gratitude. There's no need to take it seriously."

Upon hearing this, Mori chuckled softly.

She picked up the water glass in front of her, took a sip, and then spoke slowly, her gaze sweeping over Nagano Sae before finally settling on Ito, "I ordered this from Kyubey, thinking that Hisahito... and everyone else might prefer a more traditional flavor."

"After all, when celebrating a victory, taste is also important."

"Kubei?!" Even Fujikawa couldn't help but exclaim softly this time. He glanced at the two food boxes, then at the two girls who looked completely at ease, and wisely decided to bury his head in his food. "Mmm! They're all delicious! They're all delicious!"

Asada tightened her grip on Ito's sleeve as she listened to the conversation.

She suddenly raised her head, mustered her courage, and seemed to want to show her strength in this invisible war.

"No matter which sushi shop it is, it's all from everyone's heart! Most importantly... most importantly, we all worked together to achieve this success!"

As she spoke, she turned her head to look at Ito, her eyes filled with dependence and a hint of seeking support, "Right, Hisahito?"

Ito felt three pairs of eyes... no, there were also those onlookers!

He forced himself to nod.

"...Yes. The sentiment is the most important thing. As long as everyone is happy."

"Humph."

Teacher Toji also joined the sushi at some point and unceremoniously picked up a piece of tuna belly.

"These students nowadays~" Ms. Totsugi winked mischievously, then looked at Ito, "Ito-kun, it seems your school life is going to be quite exciting~"

“Teacher Toji!” Ito protested.

At this moment, Rin Iketani, who had been quietly "competing" with the wasabi sauce, suddenly looked up and said expressionlessly, "Too much wasabi."

Then, feeling the spiciness, he took a deep breath and picked up his water glass to take a big gulp.

Her remarks, which were completely out of touch with the atmosphere, actually eased the tension a bit, and everyone couldn't help but laugh.

The celebration continued in this lively atmosphere.

The deluxe sushi was quickly devoured, and mixed with other foods, everyone ate and drank, chatting about the fun times during the stage play rehearsals and dreaming about the future.

Although an invisible tension still exists between Nagano Sae and Morikami Chinatsu, and Asada remains close to Ito, at least on the surface, the atmosphere is gradually blending into the overall cheerful mood.

Everyone is enjoying...

Sunlight streamed through the window, warmly bathing each young face and illuminating the mess of cups and plates on the table.

How to handle this relationship during their youth was something Ito never knew, just like Hayakawa would experience a period of pure love – a magical time!

"I...Ito," Asada whispered Ito's name, interrupting his thoughts.

She leaned close to his ear and whispered:

"That's your problem!"

Author's Closing Remarks

I procrastinated for about a month after finishing writing it... (Looks like I'm still too lazy...)

I originally planned to write this during the National Day holiday, but I've delayed it until now.

This book is now finished. Thank you Life and Ham for the monthly tickets!

As this is my first book, I'm actually a little disappointed with the result, but then I think about how I managed to get a contract and write over 600,000 words, updating non-stop every day...

It all seems a bit unbelievable now (although there's a lot I haven't written about, such as the school trip, the promotional video shoot, the rock music festival, the situation at Asada's family, why Morikami had such a bad personality before, and what happened at Takikawa).

Asada wanted to become an idol because her mother was an idol (and died), and her father forbade her from doing so.

Moriue, due to family reasons, doesn't really believe in love, and thus destroys and manipulates other people's feelings—that was her original character design.

I roughly know why this book did poorly. For example, the stock trading issue that keeps being discussed in the comments section. Actually, I originally only intended for Asada Sakura to be the sole winner, while Mori Kami was just meant to be a passerby.

But the more I write, the more I like Mori, this wicked woman...

I surrender and offer my heart to Lord Mori.

There's also the problem of slow plot development; it's dragging and chaotic because I don't know how to write it (like that famous saying: "Have you ever been a dragon?" So I just wrote whatever came to mind).

www I've never cultivated any idols, I'm just writing this randomly.

That's how I originally wanted to write it: one character at a time, then Ito and Asada work together to solve the problem, and then release a song or something like that.

But only three or four people subscribed... (They completely compromised).

I don't know how to use cheat codes, and I don't understand why "idol" wasn't sung in the end.

And then there's the popularity rating, the idol development path, the pacing... there's no real thrill...

I definitely won't do this again for the next book!!! (I'll probably use a different account to write it)

I have two ideas for the new book.

One is a lighthearted Japanese fantasy (similar to a combination of an otherworldly uncle and a hibiscus king?).

One is still a Tokyo-themed story (similar to Mob Psycho 100? + Assassination Classroom? (solving the psychological problems of sick girls)). I haven't figured it out yet; I'll slowly work on it over the next few days.

That's all, thank you!
