Minecraft: Steve came to the back room

"1500 people? Where did you get so many people? You and Wright aren't involved in human trafficking, are you?"

"Of course not. It's just that the number of homeless people who have fallen into the back room has increased significantly recently. It's not just us. We've also received news from the MEG's main explorer group and the BNTG's non-aligned trading group that the number of homeless people they've taken in has also started to surge."

"Correspondingly, the number of entities in the back chamber has also increased significantly. Now it is much more dangerous for our people to go out to explore and collect supplies. This week alone, 27 homeless people have been confirmed dead."

27 homeless people died in one week.

Although it may not seem exaggerated when considering the number of 1500 people, these are all 'elites' who have been selected through levels such as level 0, level 1, and level 2, and some of them even have special items provided by the store.

That casualty figure is indeed quite exaggerated.

Yang Bo pondered for a moment:

“Death in the back room is not uncommon. Zero, you tell everyone in the school to be careful recently.”

"I'll go to the back room to find out what's going on, to see if something big has happened in the front hall, or if the back room is connected to the new front hall."

Whether it's the birth of 60 billion people from the special layer falling into the back chamber, or the back chamber capturing a new front hall, it will lead to a surge in the number of humans and entities in the back chamber.

In addition, more unknown levels will appear.

"Boss, I'll go with you."

Zero looked eager to try, and pushed up his glasses on his nose: "I'm strong now, and I won't hold you back anymore."

Yang Bo burst out laughing upon hearing Ling's words, and walked over to pat him on the shoulder:

“I admit you’ve grown, but I’ve grown even faster. If you and Wright were clinging to me before, now you’re completely out of touch.”

zero:"……"

"Boss, your analogy is so vivid. Don't use it next time."

"Haha, I don't have time this time, but next time I'll bring you some Compound 5 so you can awaken your superpowers too. Who knows, if you're lucky, you might surpass me in no time."

Zero said with a hint of helplessness:

"Boss, do you believe that?"

"Uh, I don't believe it either, but that thing is amazing, what if it is?"

"Even if it's possible, it's still impossible."

Yang Bo and Ling arrived at the school arm in arm. As soon as they entered the cafeteria area, Yang Bo noticed that there were significantly more homeless people in the school.

"So many people? Is the dormitory area okay?"

"There is pressure at the moment, but there are no problems yet. However, as the population increases and time goes by, more and more people are forming families, so the original four-person room is no longer suitable."

“You’re right. If there are homeless people who are willing to start families, then family rooms should be allocated. However, given the current situation, 1500 people are indeed a bit cramped with the current capacity of the dormitory building.”

"Later, I'll go out for a walk and see if I can run into any unlucky level masters. Oh, and you should also tell our people to be prepared."

The two left the cafeteria and went to school.

Looking at the homeless people coming and going outside, their clothes varied. Some were dressed in suits and ties and looked like they were going to sell insurance, while others were wearing vests and shorts and looked like they were going downstairs to buy a pack of cigarettes.

Yang Bo felt a headache coming on.

“Zero, I have time to go to other worlds and make some ‘school uniforms.’ After all, they are our own people who pay protection money, so we have to do this image project.”

Zero nodded slightly: "Actually, I've always had this idea, but boss, you've been too busy, so I haven't said anything."

Wright, some school administrators, and I discussed some costume designs and are currently looking for clothing stores and factories in Level 11.

"Oh? In that case, I'll leave this matter to you. If you encounter any trouble, feel free to contact me anytime. I can't help with other things, but I can handle some physical assets."

Yang Bo glanced in the direction of the Skeleton Queen's Forest.

"Wright, I plan to build an ancient Roman amphitheater in the forest..."

Upon hearing the words "arena," Zero immediately frowned and tentatively offered his advice:

"Boss, are you planning to let the wanderers fight each other to select the strong and eliminate the weak?"

Will doing this lose public support? Will it damage our reputation for attracting homeless people?

"Popular support? Mass production—pfft, pfft, pfft, I almost got led astray. I wanted to build an ancient Roman arena to serve as a hub. I recently learned some magic, including teleportation spells. With a teleportation portal made of special materials, this spell can be solidified, meaning you can freely travel between the two ends of the portal."

"Your most urgent task is to unload the foreign persimmons. You're still picking the strong and eliminating the weak. You've been reading too many dark novels."

"In my eyes, all homeless people are weaklings. If your boss wants me to, even someone who has lost all five limbs, is blind and deaf, and is plagued by diseases, I can turn him into a powerful figure who can sweep through any level."

That's how it is in Minecraft; once you get the first one of anything, it won't be long before it becomes ubiquitous.

Especially when adding modules.

He used to eagerly anticipate mithril fragments, arcane dust, and magic tablets, but after a few days of accumulating them, he's now starting to consider building a portal, a major consumer of such materials.

After all, he couldn't possibly use all the equipment if he didn't craft it himself.

Chapter 328 Building the Arena Hub

Level 52: School lobby level.

The entire building suddenly trembled, and the homeless people who remained at the school looked around in confusion, trying to find the source of the danger or confirm whether it was an earthquake.

However, Megan's voice soon came over the school's loudspeaker.

"All teachers and students, please do not panic. The principal is working on clearing the forest area on campus. The tremors are normal. Everyone should stay where you are to avoid injury."

"In addition, a new school rule has been added: teachers and students are not allowed to enter the forest area without permission, and violators will be punished accordingly."

As soon as the announcement came on, all the homeless people started talking about it like a pot boiling over.

"The principal? Why is the principal back today? Wasn't he supposed to be wandering around different levels all the time?"

"Our school has a principal?"

"Isn't that obvious?! The principal's photo is right at the top of the notice board in our school lobby! How did you get on board?!"

"I wonder what big fuss our principal is up to this time."

"The lake over there in the forest is quite nice; it's a real shame that we can't go there now."

Meanwhile, above the school forest, Yang Bo was meticulously crafting the details of the 'arena' below.

He bent down and raised his hand, manipulating the power of the level master himself to sculpt the circular rock wall at the bottom of the arena bit by bit.

Hard rocks become like soft clay in his hands, constantly being stretched, shaped, and solidified.

Along the bottom of the entire rock wall, he meticulously carved out countless closed door frames of uniform size and regular style.

'The first level has 108, which is enough for now. However, once the portal is opened, an outpost must be set up on the other side, otherwise, entities will keep sneaking into the school, which will be a problem.'

An arena occupies 10% of the forest area's 'resources', but since it's just sitting idle, there's no point in wasting it.

Landing in front of a door frame from the air, I took out a "portal frame" from my backpack and embedded it in the frame.

The frame was made entirely of precious mithril and arcane ingots, and no spells were being cast at the moment, so it was just a solitary frame.

By casting the Ender Portal spell on a portal frame, it can be transformed into a portal that can be used for teleportation.

Two bound portals have no distance limit between them and are permanent.

Unfortunately, portal frames can only be bound in pairs at this time.

Alternatively, you could simply place a hundred or so portal frames here, and then just find a place to put new portal frames when you reach a new level.

However, compared to the original mod's portal frame, which can only be bound to different dyes, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

"Go to level 365, your biggest enemy level, and activate the first pair of portals first."

Level 365, your greatest enemy level, is actually a pretty good level.

Back in the main world, Yang Bo then summoned the mist and returned to the back room where he had left last time.

The long corridor filled with various mirrors was very quiet. He took out a torch and stuck it in the wall between the mirrors.

Instantly, various reflections illuminated the corridor, and thousands of torches and figures were reflected in the floor-to-ceiling mirrors on both sides.

'We need to find a place to place the portal frame first.'

It had to be a safe place. Yang Bo strode forward along the corridor, occasionally taking out a torch and sticking it into the wall.

As he walked, he suddenly stopped and looked at the full-length mirror on the wall.

His figure was reflected in the huge floor-to-ceiling mirror, along with the image reflected in the opposite floor-to-ceiling mirror.

The two mirrors formed an infinite loop.

However… amidst the endless loop of figures, an incongruous presence suddenly appears: a figure standing among a group of figures that should be facing forward, yet only his back is visible.

If an ordinary person were to witness such a scene, they would undoubtedly feel fear and shudder.

But Yang Bo was furious.

"Damn, I forgot to bring bait."

The thing causing trouble in the mirror is the blind knowledge of the raw materials for Zhicha.

In its first form, it exists only in the mirror world and has no physical form. Only by absorbing enough fear will it condense into a physical form, emerge from the mirror, and enter the second stage.

"Alright, I'll let you off this time. We'll talk about it next time when I bring two timid homeless people. Let's go check out the elevator up ahead first."

For a homeless person filled with fear, the allure of blind knowledge is unparalleled.

Occasionally, elevators will appear in the building, but these elevators have no buttons or mirrors inside.

It can be said to be the only safe place on Level 365.

Yang Bo strode forward and pressed the button on the wall. With a ding, the elevator doors opened to both sides.

The elevator lobby wasn't large, only a 2x2 square space. There were some food items and a few bottles of almond water in one corner of the elevator.

Besides that, there weren't even any small advertisements around.

"Nice location!"

These elevators were all stationary, without buttons. In his perception, there were black spatial barriers above and below, leaving no room to move around.

Take the "Portal Frame" out of your backpack and place it on the wall opposite the elevator door.

The Book of Vishanti, radiating divine power, appeared beside him.

"Portal"
