Ferren shrugged indifferently. "What does their inability to accept Father's gifts have to do with me? It just means they're not lucky enough to receive them."

Sharon was about to say something when a scream, much louder than his own, suddenly pierced through the sound filter of his helmet, like a steel needle stabbing into his ear.

"I can't feel anything! I can't feel anything! Best, come quick! Use your torture devices on me! I can't feel anything!!!"

Possessing a Space Marine

Chapter 91: A Bunch of Losers

"Shut up, Antoine!"

"I can't feel anything! Ahhhhh! Someone, please help me!!!"

The one wailing and howling was the son of an emperor. He was not one of the veterans who had fought alongside Fugen in the great rebellion or even the great expedition, but just a young man with an implanted gene seed.

His armor was far more ornate than that of other Chaos Space Marines; the pink armor shimmered and was regularly maintained with wax and oil. Shrunken souvenirs made from human parts hung on his body on chains, and some of his hollow faces would emit mournful cries as the wind blew through them.

Antoine seemed to have gone mad; for a son of an emperor, no punishment was more cruel than having his senses taken away.

All of this can be blamed on Sharon, the Word Bearer whose psionic magic was practically nonexistent. In order to save the Blind Faith-class raider and its crew from the jaws of the Void Whale, this Word Bearer made a deal with some dark entity.

However, this was not the first time that the group had made a deal with the dark forces; otherwise, this small ship would not have gathered so many Chaos Space Marines from various factions and factions.

Emerging from the shadows, the Midnight Lord, who had been blaming and resenting Sharon, flashed to Antoine's side. Several long nails, capable of impaling a mortal from head to toe, were slammed into Antoine's limbs, restraining him from moving. Then, a metal ball was stuffed into Antoine's mouth.

Antoine could only stammer out sounds. His eyes were bloodshot as he bit down hard on the metal ball in his mouth, breaking his sharp teeth as blood mixed with bone fragments flowed down his throat.

He did all this just so he could experience that feeling again.

"Sigh..." Best sighed deeply as he looked at Antoine's ugly state, thankful that he had not sided with any of the dark gods. Although the fools of the Empire would curse him as a lackey of Chaos, he knew the truth in his heart.

The Night Lords are loyal only to themselves and the Night King, not to the mummies on the throne or the psychopaths of the Warp.

"Is he alright?" Sharon the Word Bearer asked. It wasn't that he was really concerned about Antoine's life, but rather that they had long been cursed, their souls bound together, so that they would share both glory and misfortune.

Best looked at Antoine's blood-soaked mouth and replied indifferently, "It's alright, this guy won't die."

"Then where is Markus? Why haven't I heard him?" Death Guardian Faerun asked as he searched for his pet.

Yes, where is Marcus?

Sharon was also curious about this, and eventually followed the familiar smell of blood in the air to find Marcus's trail.

This berserker, who would lose his mind once he started fighting, had a huge steel beam pierce through his chest, his head tilted to one side, silent like a corpse.

“Markus may have triggered the Space Marine’s feigned death mechanism.” Bennett, who was more knowledgeable than the others, made the judgment. Before joining this warband of losers, he enjoyed hunting Space Marines loyal to the Empire and watching them slowly die under the maintenance of genes and modified organs.

Sharon leaned more towards the psychic interpretation. He clasped his hands together, tightly holding the eight-pointed star amulet, and said, "As long as we are alive, it proves that Markus is still alive. That's what the curse says."

“Pull him down.” Feren prepared to act, his dirty, greasy hands reaching for Markus’s armor.

Sharon knocked the clumsy Death Guard to the ground with a single blow, then said in a tone as if he had saved the man's life, "Are you crazy? Even though Markus's head is off right now, he doesn't like the stench on you at all."

“Let’s do it together.” Bennett covered his face with his hand, which was fitted with lightning claws, and then he and Sharon slowly removed Marcus from the steel beam.

Bennett laid Marcus on the ground to sit. They had no medicine and could only recover slowly by luck, physical strength, and the watchful eyes of certain demons.

“Let him sit down, maybe he’ll be fine in a bit.” Bennett clapped his hands, while Ferren took advantage of a moment when Bennett was relaxed and gently patted his shoulder armor studded with human skin.

"Caw!" Bennett shrieked at the sneak attack, leaping far away and hiding in the shadows, washing the filth off his shoulder armor with soap, disinfectant, and other items he had scavenged.

This both shocked and amused Ferren.

“You should change your habit of touching everything. The day our curse is lifted, Bennett will definitely throw you into a fire pit in a religious world and burn you alive,” Sharon earnestly advised Feren.

Ferren just coughed and chuckled. He enjoyed seeing Bennett's amusingly obsessive-compulsive reaction, which reminded him of a cat with its fur standing on end.

"I...can't...feel anything..."

A terrifying whisper came from behind them. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that Antoine, the emperor's son who had been pinned to the ground by Bennett, had broken free of his restraints and was approaching them step by step with a ferocious expression.

"Stop, Antoine. You need to stay calm." Sharon raised his weapon at Antoine, feeling a chill at the madness displayed by the emperor's son.

Among them, the strongest in terms of overall strength is Markus. He is a veteran who fought in the Great Crusade and the Great Rebellion, but he was tormented by the Butcher's Nail until he lost his mind and ended up here.

Normally, Markus is like a statue, silently standing in a corner in a daze. Only when he is engaged in battle can he become as ferocious and swift as a wounded beast.

The second strongest is this hedonistic madman before us, Antoine, the emperor's son.

He was highly skilled with his longsword, often able to thrust out from unexpected directions.

Below them are Best and Faerûn, and finally Sharon the Word Bearer, the only one who can use psionic powers.

How terrifying is an emperor's son driven mad? Although Sharon didn't know, he could sense from Feren's taut, exposed intestines and Bennett's deathly silence that Antoine would bring them great trouble.

Now there is only one thing worth doing: defeat Antoine, bind him tightly with chains, and do not release him until he regains his sanity.

"I can't feel anything! It's all your fault!!!" Antoine screamed like a banshee, then charged at the crowd with her longsword used for bleeding and skinning.

Thick-skinned and tough-looking Faerun stood at the forefront, his weapons being a boarding shield and an old-fashioned bomb gun whose bullets were so disgusting that one didn't want to think about them.

Several shots rang out, green flames spitting from the muzzles, and foul-smelling bullets hurtled towards Antoine.

Antoine did not dodge, letting the bullets hit him.

I still don't feel anything...

Overwhelmed with grief and rage, Antoine moved faster than ever before, flashing to Fayen's side and stabbing him in the throat with his sword.

"Ugh...cough cough cough..." Feren gripped the blade with his other hand, preventing Antoine from drawing his sword.

Antoine's only response was to slam his shoulder into Faerûn's chest, a sharp black spike piercing Faerûn's armor and heart.

The wounded Faerûn knelt on one knee, Nurgle's power protecting his life.

Such a commotion also slowly awakened the silent Marcus, or rather, it slowly awakened the Komi residing within him.

"Where...am I?" Komi asked, puzzled, looking at the crazed and mad Antoine.

Chapter 92: The Complex Composition of the War Gang

Koji was furious; the judge's blatant betrayal was vividly etched in his mind.

There's nothing else to do now; I have to go back and wring the judge's head off to vent my anger.

No, that's not enough.

Spare the Inquisitor's life, cut off his limbs and keep him in a jar, then turn an entire sector into a heretical region that does not believe in the Emperor, right in front of him, and finally say something sly in the Inquisitor's pained expression of hatred for heretics and demons.

"Ugh! I've always wanted to see that look on your face, all furious but helpless!"

Then we'll give this judge a few Tau Eldar alien Starfuries to thoroughly humiliate him!

Suppressing his anger slightly, Koji stretched his stiff neck and looked around. The immense power emanating from those muscles surprised him.

This is not comparable to the body of that miner. Even if you tied ten old miners together, they probably wouldn't be half as strong as this stranger.

Komi, in shock, examined his body, his vision filled with various analytical data. His head was clearly sealed inside a high-tech tactical helmet.

Looking down, the crimson armor and the giant, gaping maw decorations made Komi fully realize that his soul had entered the body of a World Eater Space Marine.

This truly aligns with the characteristics of demons and gods: possessing the bodies of others and controlling them to serve their own ambitions.

"I can't feel anything!"

A scream made Komi's already bad mood even worse. It was like the pitiful scream of a rooster that had contracted the plague being castrated, making Komi feel uncomfortable all over.

His gaze turned toward the direction of the sound. The memories of the former master were merging into his own, and eventually, the Chaos Space Marine who came into view was also known by Koken.

A gluttonous and clumsy Death Guardian, a Word Bearer with psionic talent but poor preaching skills who can only persuade people with physical means, a Midnight Lord who believes neither in the Emperor nor in Chaos, and hates everything...

And then there was the emperor's son, covered in blood, wielding a long sword and screaming in agony...

Isn't the composition of this Chaos War Gang a bit too complicated?

Koji didn't know how to react for a moment, and sat blankly on the ground staring at the back of his 'comrade'.

When the emperor's son pierced Komi's eardrums once again with his scream, he rose from the ground, filled with rage, and walked heavily toward Antoine.

"Marcus? Your injury is healed?" Bennett blinked, quite surprised that Koji could recover so quickly from a severe wound that pierced his chest. Even Faerûn, who had received Nurgle's blessing, could not have such recovery ability.

To the cruel and indifferent Midnight Lord's questioning, Komi only responded with a silent, resentful gaze.

Bennett shuddered; he had never seen Marcus look at him like that before.

It is not bloodlust, nor madness, but a clarity that commands even greater awe.

Marcus is an unstoppable beast, and when this beast gains sanity, his danger level will increase significantly.

Bennett dodged to the side, while Komi controlled Marcus's body to walk past him. The bloody wind from the ancient war pressed down on Bennett, making it difficult for him to breathe.

Watching Komi's retreating figure, Bennett could only curse under his breath.

"Damn it..."

By this time, Faerûn had been beaten to his knees by Antoine, and Antoine scraped off some fungi and spores growing on his armor with his longsword and stuffed them into his mouth and nose.

Antoine was not aware of any foul odor, nor did he feel any sticky or disgusting sensation.

After kicking Feren away, Antoine's yellow-green face turned toward the nervous Sharon.

"What have you done...you damned chanting brat..."

Sharon felt uneasy under Antoine's gaze, but ultimately forced a loud reply, "I saved your lives! I prevented you from becoming a pile of dung in the stomach of the Void Whale. You should thank me for my efforts..."

"You Primarch my ass! You damned idiot!" Antoine cursed, whipping up a gust of wind as he charged toward Sharon.

Only then did Sharon realize how exaggerated the gap in strength between him and Antoine was. He couldn't even see Antoine draw his sword; he could only feel countless sword gusts about to sever the tendons and bones in his body.

I am a follower of the dark gods! I am the one who proclaims their voice of destruction!

Sharon gripped the spiked Chaos Scepter tightly, preparing to rely on his faith to withstand Antoine's fierce attack.

The blade aimed at Sharon's neck, easily bypassing the obstruction of Sharon's scepters. Antoine's eyes were filled with madness and cruelty; he didn't care about the damned curse that bound their souls together—a curse of shared glory and shared ruin.

With a clang, Sharon was startled by the crisp sound of metal clashing and broke out in a cold sweat. He could clearly feel that his scepter had not made any contact with Antoine's sword.

Since they couldn't stop it, then it's a neck cut.

Sharon swallowed hard, not feeling any pain in his body for a long time.

Finally, his gaze fell on Antoine's magnificent helmet, and he saw Komi's shadow in his crimson, jewel-like visors.
