Warhammer 40k: Melee Warriors

Komi continued charging forward, wanting to clash head-on with the clan leader's claws using his fists.
Bennett was terrified by this action. Komi's melee combat skills were indeed inferior to his own, but that was no reason to use his terracotta armor to touch the chieftain's claws.
The claws would slice through Komi's gauntlets like a hot knife through butter, then rip off one of his arms.
“Marcus!” Bennett shouted, believing that Komi had once again fallen into a bloodthirsty, mindless rage.
However, all his worries were unnecessary. Komi had a clear understanding of the defensive capabilities of his armor and the armor-piercing capabilities of the clan leader. The punch he threw carried the power of five superimposed holy numbers.
The fist and claws collided, creating a tremendous sound like a cannonball striking between them, echoing dully and irresistibly throughout the plaza in front of the sanctuary.
Bennett stared at him with a look of utter disbelief, and Komi struck the patriarch's claws, which were capable of rivaling the power sword, leaving a noticeable crack.
His body also lost its balance under this enormous force, and his front was completely exposed to the ancient face.
They actually... won?
Bennett seemed to have already seen the patriarch's bloodied and mangled future, and in an instant, he had a clearer idea of his own future direction.
If you are desperate, you must worship the Blood God...
Koji fully embodied the principle of striking while the iron is hot, punching the clan leader directly in the chin, the sound of bones cracking making him feel incredibly satisfied.
The fists pounded on the chieftain's body like a storm, and every five times a horrific wound that revealed his internal organs and bones was exposed to everyone's eyes.
The clan chief was powerless to resist and could only retreat step by step under the continuous punches of Gu Jian, eventually lying on the ground enduring his increasingly severe injuries.
In the end, Komi tore off the clan leader's limbs, pierced his chest, and crushed his deep purple heart in his hand.
With both hands gripping the chieftain's neck, he used all his strength to tear off the heavy, ugly head and hold it in his hands.
More blood gushed from the gap in the neck towards Komi. This liquid was slightly corrosive, leaving Komi's armor pitted and uneven.
This was the chieftain's final act of loyalty to the hive's will. Koji stepped on the chieftain's riddled corpse, holding his head high with his eyes wide open in death, surrounded by the heat of blood and the sizzling sound of decay.
The battlefield was deathly silent. The purebloods, held back by Bennett and Antoine, retreated continuously, hissing like frightened wild beasts toward Komihachi.
The believers, who were not afraid of death, turned pale. No one could believe that the four-armed angel who brought them truth and faith had died at the hands of a giant.
"Whoa! We've failed! We've failed!" someone shouted, and the cultists immediately became anxious, their minds, heated by the battle, beginning to consider the possibility of saving their lives.
At first, they retreated slowly step by step, and then it turned into a chaotic and frantic run.
In their panic, they didn't know where was safe; all they knew was to stay as far away from the blood-soaked giant as possible.
Koken watched the cultists flee, too lazy to bother chasing them, and simply picked up his chainsaw axe again.
Their real purpose was to gain some benefits from this void station, not to ensure that it remained in the Emperor's hands from the Xenomorphs.
Bennett and Antoine shook the blood off their weapons and stared grimly at the sanctuary guards in the distance, whose faces were beaming with delight.
They would have no sympathy or pity for these mortals loyal to the Empire either; following Komi's advice to fight would only make them hate the aliens even more.
If one day the human empire falls apart, cities are destroyed, and stars are extinguished, that will be the work of these people, and it is not the aliens' place to interfere in the conflicts between humans.
As Komi walked step by step toward the sanctuary guards, the murderous aura emanating from him instilled fear in them instinctively. It was already commendable that they didn't faint in front of him.
Khorne watched as Komi approached step by step, hoping that he would offer up the blood and skulls of these guards.
"My lord..." a guard stammered as he greeted Komi.
The Void Child's pale skin made him appear even more tense, leading Koji to wonder if he might suddenly die at any moment.
The man was not old, only in his early twenties, and wore an exquisite necklace around his neck, which looked like a gift from a woman.
Komi watched as the man offered a double-headed eagle salute to him, remained silent for a long time, and finally ended his melancholy with a sigh.
"I won't make you feel pain."
Before the soldier could even ask why, Gu Jian swung his axe and easily severed his head.
The guards were stunned by Komi's attack; they could only gape, and not one of them dared to raise a weapon to attack.
At that moment, they had only one thought in their minds: the dead guard had offended the noble angel of death.
So everyone racked their brains, desperately trying to figure out the most appropriate way to greet someone.
However, their efforts were in vain. When Bennett and Antoine also mercilessly executed the guards, these guards, who had escaped with their lives from the cultists, realized that these angels of death had not come to save them.
"Why! Why did you do this!" A guard, his face filled with terror, fired at Antoine, who was laughing maniacally.
His first shot missed, and then Antoine peeled off his skin with a single sword strike. The intense pain instantly rendered him unable to fight, and he immediately knelt on the ground, convulsing and vomiting.
Although Antoine felt nothing, he could imagine the man's pain from watching him struggle, which slightly satisfied his empty heart.
However, Komi was quite disgusted by this behavior. He threw a shard into the guard's head to put him to rest, and then calmly replied under Antoine's gloomy and insane gaze.
"They are not your toys, Antoine."
Seeing Komi's fist stained with purple blood, Antoine swallowed the anger rising in his heart and finally replied with elegance and respect, "I understand... my master."
Chapter 103: My teammates are my weapons
The guards in front of the sanctuary were quickly overwhelmed by the three men. The dramatic shift between angel and demon left them bewildered, and chaos spread rapidly through the ranks.
Some soldiers, armed with weapons, chased after the fleeing believers, believing that they had not fought bravely enough and had thus incurred the angels' displeasure.
Regardless, Komi and his men had breached the Sanctuary's frontal defenses, and a dutiful soldier was captured by Bennett.
"Alright, little thing, how do you open this gate?" Bennett asked softly, closing the field and lightly scratching the soldier's face with his claws, leaving a few bloody marks.
The sergeant trembled with fear at Bennett's undisguised malice, but he remained loyal to the navigator family, gritting his teeth and closing his eyes, refusing to answer Bennett's question.
Bennett chuckled. In his long fighting career, he had seen many tough guys, but none of them could withstand the Midnight Lord's cruel torture. They would often weep and confess all the information before begging for a quick death.
Several long needles were already in his hand. Just as Bennett was about to insert them into the soldier's skull to cause unbearable pain by stimulating his brain nerves, he suddenly remembered that there was a killer watching him from behind.
Komi...
Bennett stopped his impatient hand, remembering Komi's intervention in Antoine's abuse.
Are all those who worship the Blood God like this? If they can kill someone with one axe blow, they absolutely won't use two.
Bennett frowned, clearly thinking of his previous leader, a mad warrior who, like Komi, worshipped the Blood God.
After each raid and battle, his former leader would hold a blood contest to celebrate, ostensibly to assess the quality of the warriors, as only the strongest were qualified to serve by his side.
As a result, he killed far more soldiers than the enemy. Unable to tolerate his stupidity, Bennett found some bombs, blew up the raiding ship, and fled.
Now, facing Komi, who had beaten the clan chief to death with his fists, Bennett felt it was best not to provoke him, so he asked without turning his head.
“This man won’t tell us anything, but we need the information in his head.”
After receiving no response for a long time, Bennett began to lose his composure, feeling as if Komi's blood-stained chainsaw axe was already pressed against the back of his neck.
Looking back slightly, I saw Komi already standing in front of the sanctuary gate, stroking it with one hand and weighing the chainsaw axe in the other, seemingly about to imitate his previous actions and chop the gate open.
“That door is made of pure gold,” Bennett reminded him.
Adamantite is the most solid material known to the Empire, almost indestructible, to the point that ancient adamantite artifacts cannot be disassembled for reverse engineering and can only be used with limited durability.
The disintegration field on the powered weapon can destroy adamantite, but maintaining the disintegration field consumes energy, and his lightning claws, designed for individual use, are insufficient to support the arduous task of breaking down this gate.
Komi nodded in response to Bennett's reminder, "I know."
Then he gripped the handle with both hands and slammed it down hard against the sanctuary gate.
The groaning sound came from Komi's weapon; the tip of the living tooth blade was shattered by the adamantite and trembled like an ordinary person who had broken a tooth.
Koken wasn't too bothered by the damage to the chainsaw axe, and kept hacking at the adamantite gate, observing the effects of the fifth attack.
It could clearly cause injury, but the trench that was only a few centimeters deep was really frustrating. Seeing that all the teeth of the chainsaw axe were about to break off and make a crying sound, Komi stopped and then turned to look at Bennett's lightning claw.
“What?” Bennett was taken aback, then shook his head and backed away step by step. “No, no, no… you can’t do that. Charging the Lightning Claw is no easy task.”
Then Bennett held the sergeant in his hand, using him as a shield in front of him. "Marcus, do you see this man? If you give me a little time and a little leniency, I can get the way to open the gate out of him. Or you can hand him over to Antoine; he loves to taste human brains."
Antoine, bored, was carving patterns on a corpse with his longsword, then replied with a hint of schadenfreude, "My tongue is numb, I can't taste anything anymore, you'd better try."
Bennett's resistance ultimately failed. The sergeant in his hands was swiftly decapitated by Komi. He screamed at Komi, somewhat out of control, "Listen, Markus! Installing and removing this Lightning Claw isn't that simple. I need engineering equipment! Your rough handling will only cause us to lose a valuable power weapon!"
Komi stopped moving; Bennett's words did indeed make sense.
But can a living person die from suffocating from poop?
Since we can't take them apart, let's just use them together.
"Raise your arms! Keep them straight!"
Bennett obediently did as he was told, not understanding what Komi was trying to do.
When he saw Komi approach and hug him, as if grabbing a battering ram and ramming him into the gate of the sanctuary, his mind went blank.
Should I resist or not? If I resist, can I win the fight?
We definitely can't win.
Isn't it more humiliating to be beaten up and then used as a battering ram when you can't win a fight?
It seems so...
Hearing Antoine's laughter, Bennett felt a mix of emotions, thinking he might as well detonate the grenade and die together with Komi.
Khorne, who had been observing, felt nostalgic for Komi's adaptability; it had been a long time since he had seen a scene where someone used their comrades as weapons.
The Lightning Claw's disintegration field collided with the adamantite gate, severely depleting the energy of the disintegration field's generator. This distressed Bennett, who tried to break free from Komi's grasp.
Gu Jian didn't give him that chance, and with quick and accurate strikes, he rammed the door five times in a row, finally creating a considerable deep crater.
Kōken tapped the gap with his fist to feel its thickness and realized that they only needed one more attempt to break through this barrier.
Bennett was captured again and, amidst Antoine's increasingly uncontrollable laughter, rammed into the gate. Finally, before the Lightning Claw ran out of energy, he and Komi crashed into the gate of the Sanctuary.
The furnishings inside are even more luxurious and extravagant; this void station is like a paradise on earth.
Bennett couldn't take his eyes off the clear water that circulated only in the upper layers and was only used to watch the fountain show. He desperately wanted to taste real water, not the bodily fluids that had circulated countless times in his armor.
Women and children, who were completely defenseless, gathered beneath the emperor's statue. They recognized their inescapable fate and wanted to die in a way that would make their deaths less humiliating.
May the Emperor have mercy on his loyal servant.
Komi had no interest in killing a group of women and children; he merely appeared to be a follower of the Blood God. Therefore, he used heavy footsteps to scare away the crowd gathered under the Emperor's statue and pointed his chainsaw axe directly at a woman whose clothing and demeanor were outstanding.
She is also the most valuable asset of this sanctuary, a navigator who can guide the fleet out of the chaos of warp.
After witnessing Sharon's psychic abilities, Komi needed a navigator's help even more.
