Chapter 165: Elaine's fetishes are getting stranger and stranger.

Upon closer reflection, this is practically like playing a game.

Controlling one character after another, traveling all over the Warhammer world.

The roles you play may change, but your soul matures through repeated trials and tribulations.

In Warhammer, physical strength is impressive, but if your soul is strong, physical strength becomes irrelevant; you can simply use psionic energy to shape your body.

So how is the sage's body now?

Was it burned by that judge? Or was it preserved?

Are Miyan and Stone dead? Will Faya, in a fit of anger, rebel against the judge?

Could this escalate into a conflict between the state religion and the courts?

Sister Gu Jianting once said that the power of the state religion in the marginalized sector was far greater than that of the Inquisition. The more remote and difficult the area, the more people would place their hopes for life on faith.

The two organizations disliked each other and engaged in numerous open and covert struggles.

Sigh...who could know?

After working on it for a long time, the location of the hazy edge sector is still unclear, and even the location of the Bone and Blood Forest is only partially known.

Aside from giving Koga a few legends about the Bone and Blood Forest, Demas couldn't offer much more help.

Unable to understand, Komi felt depressed, patted Demas's sarcophagus, and left the bridge.

Battleships are far more spacious than the Blind Faith-class raider.

Komi didn't know where she was going when she went out. After wandering around, she finally arrived at Elaine's door.

After becoming a Space Marine, Komi didn't forget some of the habits he had developed before his transmigration, and he knocked on the door before stepping inside.

Elaine is doing her job as a navigator, charting safe routes for warships navigating in the subspace.

Each navigator understands the subspace in a slightly different way; some use sound to deconstruct the ebb and flow of the subspace, while others use color to analyze it.

Elaine belonged to the latter group. In front of her was a huge canvas, and the table was full of paints of various colors. She didn't have such treatment on the Blind Faith-class raider. She could only follow Komi to learn some dark knowledge from Sharon.

The materials used to make these things were obtained from the mutants and beastmen on the lower decks.

Elaine's drawing work is complete; now it's time for her to interpret the painting using her intuition, knowledge, and remaining memories.

Komi stood in front of the painting, admiring it intently. He felt that this was even more difficult to understand than any abstract masterpiece. He simply couldn't find any useful information in the interweaving of these lines and blocks, so he started watching Elaine's performance.

When the gaze fell on Elaine, the navigator's body stiffened. Her veins were congested with tension, and under her excessively pale, even translucent skin due to her physical condition, they resembled bright red patterns extending from the back of her head to her cheeks.

On the Blind Faith-class raider, Elaine was always filthy, with only her eyes and teeth showing a color different from the black and gray.

However, Komi didn't notice Elaine's expression; after all, in terms of looks, Antoine was much better looking than Elaine.

Komi pointed to a small leather cord that Elaine was tightly clutching in her hand and asked, "What's this leather cord for?"

"Ah..." Elaine blinked her eyes, turned around and casually hid the small leather rope behind her back. "This...this is a tool I need when surveying aeronautical charts."

"A leather cord? How do you draw on this?" Koji raised his eyebrows, clearly noticing that Elaine's coyness was hiding something. So he changed the subject and asked Elaine why she had a cloth collar around her neck.

"This...this is!"

Like a cat whose tail has been stepped on, Elaine almost jumped up in front of the ancient door. The dog, walking behind Elaine, clucked twice and said, "The thing under this cloth collar is so interesting. I think you should take a look at it."

Elaine couldn't stop the dog from running to Komi's side, and the devilish dog was quite pleased with itself for getting revenge on Elaine for haggling.

Komi took a hand puppet from his back, which was made exactly like Komi's gauntlet.

Elaine's face grew even redder, and Komi quickly realized what the leather rope in Elaine's hand was for.

Suffocation...suffocation play?

When did Elaine develop this taste? Did Antoine bring it to her?

Komi found it difficult to articulate his emotions, feeling as complex and poignant as an old father discovering that his beloved daughter had been abducted by a young, blond-haired man driving a ghost firecracker.

After a long silence, Gu Jian could only sigh and return the unfinished hand puppet to Elaine. Then he squatted down, patted Elaine's shoulder, and told her to be restrained and not to become like Antoine, who died a violent death.

"No! It's not what you think!" Elaine screamed, trembling as she explained the function of the puppet and leather rope to Koji, while also taking off the cloth collar around her neck.

Sure enough, there was a red mark around it from gripping.

Komi shook his head, and Elaine grew even more anxious. "Master! I used the leather rope not because of Antoine... but... but because these things can calm my confusion, allowing me to draw the warp more clearly... When I could no longer bear the noise of the warp, I remembered your care for me... How powerful that hand was, like a wall blocking all the prying eyes of evil... That suffocating feeling also made my thinking even sharper..."

Well... after all that talk, it turns out Elaine was influenced by herself...

Koji felt a dryness in his mouth and thought to himself that he had only choked you to prevent you from undergoing a mutation on the warship. Who would have thought you would develop such a habit?

Seemingly moved by the conversation, Elaine took a few steps closer to Komi, who was half-squatting, and the small leather rope, which had somehow been wrapped around her neck, slowly tightened.

Elaine's voice sounded somewhat strained, and Komi was increasingly distressed by the fact that none of his subordinates were normal people.

“My lord...this is your power and gift...if you do not want me to do this, I will simply discard it and not use it.”

“No need. If you think this will really be useful to you... then take this gauntlet.” Komi took off his gauntlet, and Elaine was astonished, unable to believe that she could receive such a valuable gift from Komi.

She hugged him happily, vowing that she would never betray Komi's trust.

Gu Jian did not answer, and had lost count of how many times he had shaken his head and left.

As I walked into the hangar to check on Bennett, I heard the Midnight Lord's somewhat insane screams in the corridor.

"Hela! My Hela! Waaaaah! Ee ee ee! Quack! Waaaaah! Why did you leave me all alone?!"

Komi stopped and exchanged a glance with the other two Iron Warriors who were squatting in the corridor trying to clear their ears because of Bennett's noise, and appreciated their hard work.

The Iron Warriors are all about being arrogant, just like their stubborn father. They turned their heads away and ignored Komi's thanks, but you could still tell from their slight nods that they were in a good mood.

Of course, not everyone can give praise. In the eyes of these steel warriors, Komi, who beat the great demon and enslaved the demons, was a respectable strongman, and it was a great honor to receive his approval.

If Sharon were to stand here and praise their work, they would only think that Sharon was being sarcastic or sarcastic.

In the end, Komi returned to the bridge, sat back on the throne, and listened to Demas's amused greeting, "Why are you even more depressed after taking a walk around?"

You'll find out in a few days.

A few days later, Antoine was released from solitary confinement, and Elaine turned the gloves that Komi had given her into a collar to wear around her neck.

As Elaine flaunted herself in front of Antoine, the Emperor's son wore a deep look of jealousy. All Komi could do was ignore the two lunatics and explain to Demas, amidst his laughter, that he didn't have any such strange fetishes.

Chapter 166: I think the Emperor is really senile... The Emperor is indeed wise!

Life on the Fifth Walker was much more interesting than on the old, dilapidated ship. At least Komi could feel some human presence, instead of staring blankly at those souls who had been dead for who knows how many years.

Komi could even take on missions to check out the lower decks of the ship, where the crew members were always influenced by all sorts of strange and monstrous things. For them, surviving in the complex structure of a ship was no easier than surviving in the jungle.

When lower-level people encounter trouble, they will ask the middle-level riot police for help.

If even the riot police are of no use, then we'll have to ask the Space Marines for help.

This layered alarm system has been operating effectively for many years. The weapons that Demas assigned to the riot squad were not cheap; a volley of a thousand light guns at the Great Demon could make him stagger.

Now, with Komi's involvement, the system has become somewhat distorted. This is not because Komi has made any changes to the system, but because he is too bored and often wanders around the lower and middle levels looking for things to do.

Walking through the narrow corridor, which runs straight through without any cover, one could simply set up an automatic artillery position in front of it to block off the entire corridor.

Boarding maneuvers on ships are, in some ways, far more terrifying than urban warfare. In urban combat, one can at least rely on rubble and ruins to hide one's position and fire sniper shots, but the excessively narrow corridors of ships force both sides to fight with each other's weapons without being able to break through one's own defenses.

As the battle grew increasingly chaotic, a squad of Terminators capable of teleporting into the warship became deadly.

Bomb guns have little chance of leaving a mark on the Terminator armor, let alone the lighter automatic guns and laser guns used by sailors. As long as the Terminator squad doesn't make a mistake and stand in front of the heavy automatic defense turret, they can slaughter area after area without taking any damage.

Komi remained at the forefront, his heavy footsteps demonstrating his threatening presence, causing some weaker creatures to lurk in the darkness, afraid to raise their heads.

Behind him was a patrol of beastmen soldiers with little armor, covered only by tattered rags and fur. They could not muffle their breathing, nor stop saliva from dripping from their beast-like mouths.

These beastmen were once tenacious soldiers who served the Great Crusade, but now they are beyond redemption. Their wildness and the gods' desires have aligned, leading them deeper and deeper into corruption.

Komi went to observe the Beastman's camp. The Stone Age-style camp standing out amidst a pile of steel was quite abrupt and strange. The fur covering the walls and the bone pillars supporting the platforms were all obtained by hunting crew members from other areas.

The beastmen didn't care much about other people's opinions and were busy doing their work, screwing the screws into the nuts with all their might. From a distance, Koji was truly amazed by the size of these beastmen; they were just as magnificent as the horses and donkeys he had seen before.

Demas will not stop the small-scale skirmishes between the beastmen and mutants. After all, these creatures reproduce and mature much faster than ordinary humans. If he were to intervene to control their internal consumption, the entire ship's supply cycle would be seriously disrupted.

The battles on the lower decks were mostly hand-to-hand combat with short swords. Blood was splattered in the corridors and cabins. The brave warriors who crawled out of the corpses bathed in blood would become part of the middle deck and even obtain a good set of equipment to patrol the ship under the envious and awe-inspiring gazes of others.

Fourhooves, the beastman captain who submitted the anomaly report to Komi, had such an origin. This beastman's hands and feet had grown into hooves, and he went through a very difficult period without hands.

In the end, he found a way to survive: he cut off the hooves from both his hands and traded them with the beastman's blacksmith for two bayonets to be strapped to his arms.

With his head drooping and his eyes fixed horizontally, he dared not look even a little at Komi's armor. He was breathing out white air and his whole body reeked of a fishy smell.

As the team leader, he was clearly much more polite than the beastmen behind him who squeezed the parasites off their bodies and stuffed them into their mouths. So when they arrived at the location, Four Hoof said humbly, "Sir... the site of the accident is just ahead. They got fused with the pressure relief pipes and the heat flow machine. We tried to pull them out, but we ended up getting caught up in the process."

"Hmm." Komi responded calmly. This wasn't the first time this had happened; the demons who worked for Vashtor all had some ability to control machines.

But that's how it is...

The demons under Vashtor's command were utterly incompetent. They lacked the bloodlust and ferocity of the Khorne demons, the tenacity and resurrection of the Nurgle demons, the swiftness and agility of the Slaanesh demons, and the superb magical power of the Tzeentch demons.

These demons are ordinary and unremarkable. Their reward for working for their ruthless boss is a furnace cannon on their arm, four mechanical legs under their torso, and a burning engine piercing their chest.

These are terrifying monsters to mortals, but they are merely troublesome to Space Marines. The truly powerful demons are either controlled by the Four Gods or have gone off on their own.

Who's willing to sign a contract of servitude to a devil?

Today's battle is probably going to be another boring one.

Komi has already thought of all the steps.

Charge forward, tear down the cannon, break its legs, and grab the demon by the neck, asking if it submits.

If they disagree, tear off a piece of their flesh and eat it, then lock them on the factory assembly line and squeeze them mercilessly.

Steam emanated from the depths of the corridor, accompanied by groans of pain. The scenery around Komi changed as well, revealing pure steel mixed with flesh and blood, cables and intestines tangled together. Those suffering faces looked at Komi, hoping he would give them a quick death.

"Come out, demon... It's no fun hiding." Komi shouted as he activated his power sword.

"Hahaha...you really are confident and arrogant...I'm curious who gave you such confidence."

"Why do you demons always have to spout nonsense when you come here? Can't you just shut up and start fighting?"

"..."

Komi's impatience was met with a long silence, followed by an angry sigh. The machinery and steel in the corridor seemed to come alive, converging towards the center and eventually merging into a gigantic face that filled the entire corridor.

Upon seeing this face, Koken immediately recognized that it was Vashtor, the superior of those demons.
