He didn't believe he had the power to suppress a Primarch, even if he was a clone, lacking the Primarch's core warp essence.
Moreover, an active Primarch will draw the attention of the entire galaxy to him, and becoming the target of everyone's criticism is not a pleasant feeling.
Upon hearing that Fugen is traveling among men, who will be the first to come and visit?
Koji chuckled inwardly. It was probably those Iron Hands who were becoming increasingly insane under the influence of the Sapphire King. Their hatred for Fuchs and the Emperor's Son was beyond measure, and they were determined to avenge Primarch Feralus, who had died at Fuchs's hands.
Vashtor remained silent for a long time, indicating that he was considering Komi's suggestion. Finally, he asked, "The location is clear, and I don't think this museum is a poorly defended place. A powerful ruler with the resources to build a museum must be a wealthy dynasty, and the ancient weapons stored in their arsenal could tear us to pieces... How do you plan to solve this problem?"
"This is not difficult. We just need to get a few more factions to attack Solemnas with us. We just need to take advantage of the chaos to get what we want."
"Several factions?"
Vashtor thought that Komi had the ability to summon the fragmented World Eaters, or even the traitors Kahn and the Great Demon Angron who had lost themselves in the Blood Swamp, but Komi set his sights on the Dark Angels Chapter, which would immediately climax at the mere mention of the word "Fallen Angels".
These lion king's offspring possess an unknown amount of advanced technology, and gathering all of them together could recreate the grandeur of the legion during the Great Expedition.
If Tarasim really pushes them to the brink, the Dark Angels' arsenal can also be used against them.
The other is the Black Templars, whose Space Marines, nicknamed the Black Orcs, also have a larger fighting force than the Codex mandate. They are able to organize numerous expeditionary fleets to sweep across the galaxy and eliminate aliens and heretics.
Lastly, there is the Blood Ravens Chapter, whose numbers are as shrouded in mystery as the Vault of Relics.
Compared to the Dark Angels and the Black Sanctuary, the Blood Ravens Chapter is quite young, yet this young chapter possesses numerous sacred artifacts that would leave even an emperor speechless.
The ancient teleporter that can be traced back to the Great Crusade, the Golden Wrath Ion Cannon which has intricate connections with the Royal Guard, the Blessed Armor whose golden color originates from Terra and may even have been placed before the Golden Throne.
They even have demonic weapons!
A massive hammer called the Godbreaker, which even contains a fragment of the Wailing Doomsday Weapon used by Kane's avatar...
I wouldn't be surprised if one day someone said they found the long-lost Primarchs of the Second and Eleventh Legions, Komi, in the Blood Raven's warehouse.
These burly men, clad in heavy armor and wielding sharp blades, are sure to bring Tarasin endless surprises. However, in order to stir up the waters even further and also to throw some dirty water on others, Komi also wants to lure Hongso, with whom he had a conflict a few days ago, over as well.
“Vashtor, can you use your control over the machines to send a few words? If you can do that, I can lure many forces to the vicinity of Solemnas.”
Vashtor nodded. As the machine's owner in a sense, he could indeed forcibly take over a portion of the equipment to transmit his own voice.
"I need to prepare something. What do you want to say?"
Komi smiled somewhat strangely, "I have so much to say..."
Chapter 169: Let's Draw More Hatred
The massive fortress floats in the void. It is one of the most powerful space defenses of the human empire, the deep space headquarters of the Dark Angels Chapter, and also the remaining bedrock of the homeworld Caliban.
Its walls are covered with weaponry and cannons, heavily guarded by dark angels, and the entire fortress is shrouded by a powerful and ancient shield generator called the Blessing of Gorgon. No warship's cannons can tear through this shield.
However, the fact that cannons could not damage the Stone Fortress did not mean that a message full of conspiracy and evil schemes could not enter it. Vashtor skillfully controlled this data, navigating through the complex mechanical structure of the Stone Fortress, and finally arriving at the innermost monastery hall.
The Dark Angels' Chapter Master Azrael gazed at the portrait of the Lion King wielding a sword, his heart filled with boundless love and respect for his Primarch father, Azrael.
However, this feeling dissipated quietly when he thought of those traitors among the fallen angels, turning into a heavy stone pressing on his chest, making him feel extremely suffocated.
The Dark Angel is loyal! Utterly loyal!
The number of aliens we've vanquished! The heretics we've slain! The world we've saved is beyond measure!
But is this loyalty truly steadfast for the empire?
Azrael shuddered.
As long as those rusty fallen angels remain unknown, their loyalty remains as firm as iron, without a single flaw.
No one knows the truth behind Caliban's shattering, nor can anyone know that nearly half of the Dark Angels fell into the Warp and joined forces with the evil gods...
Fallen angels must die... and those who know about fallen angels must also die...
This was a consensus among Azrael and the other qualified members of the inner circle of dark angels. Their work of hunting down fallen angels had begun thousands of years ago, and the secret remained hidden behind the sword's edge, with no one able to cast curious glances behind it.
The appearance of dark forces in the hall was nothing short of a mockery to Chapter Master Azrael, who immediately drew his weapon, awaiting the arrival of this dark foe.
However, this ominous power ultimately manifested only as a phantom image about the same height as Azrael. The person's face was indistinct, with only a hood on his head, a longsword on his back, and a uniquely designed bomb pistol and plasma pistol hanging at his waist.
The leader of the fallen angels, Cipher?!
Azrael was startled, filled with a deep-seated hatred for the enigmatic man before him, wishing he could tear him to pieces immediately.
"Hehehe...Azrael...you're still the same as ever."
The familiar greetings between the two drifted into Azrael's ears. The current Chapter Master of the Dark Angels was certain that he had never seen Cypher in person, only knowing of Cypher's appearance from the descriptions of the Chief Strategist Ezekiel.
“Traitor!” Azrael roared. “If you have any honor left, you should find a place to end your own life instead of bringing shame upon the Primarch and his Legion.”
“Heh…” Cipher’s phantom chuckled, completely disregarding Azrael’s threat. Under Azrael’s fiery gaze, he said leisurely, “Since you’re so eager to capture me, I’ll give you a chance. I’m currently on a planet called Solemnas, and I’ll be waiting for you here.”
"Do you think I'd jump into such an obvious trap myself?" Azrael said, but in his mind he was already thinking about Solemnas's location in the Empire.
Even if Cypher had indeed set a deadly trap on this planet, Azrael could not bear to miss the opportunity to capture Cypher, the leader of the fallen angels.
“If you’re afraid, you don’t have to come.” Cypher shrugged indifferently, making him seem even more frivolous and repulsive in Azrael’s eyes. “I will then spread the truth throughout the galaxy.”
"What truth?"
"The truth behind the Dark Angels' betrayal... the truth behind Caliban's fate... the truth behind Primarch Ryan Johnson's disappearance... Azrael, I doubt you'd want a little booklet to end up on Lord Terra's desk, would you?"
Three truths struck Azrael so hard he staggered, his face turning pale and his lips trembling. If Cypher were to report these things to the entire Empire, the Stone Fortress would likely be surrounded by the cleansing fleet sent by Terra the next day.
Death is not the worst outcome; what is worse is that the dignity and faith of the Dark Angels are shattered.
How will the world they protected view the Dark Angels?
Will the emperor sitting on the throne receive a disappointed look?
Will the Primarch, who has yet to appear,...?
Azrael dared not think any further. He suddenly snapped out of his daze amidst Sephaor's triumphant laughter and then hastily summoned all his troops to advance toward Solemnus.
Thanks to the Dark Angels' chapter culture, no one questioned the chapter leader's actions of summoning a large number of troops. The warriors silently accepted the chapter leader's orders, prepared their weapons, and underwent even more rigorous training.
Meanwhile, the Dark Angels who were fighting abroad also received the call. Deathwing Archmaster Belial and Ravenwing Archmaster Samuel immediately abandoned their teammates who fought alongside them and rushed to the evacuation zone without even a word of explanation.
Khan Khorsaro arrived at the last moment before the Deathwing Ravenwings withdrew from the battlefield. The scarred man from Chogoris was furious and shouted that their retreat had led to the encirclement of millions of Imperial troops.
Beria and Samuel, ashamed to face the scorn of Khan Khorsaro, could only hide their faces in the darkness and ignore him.
The vast fleet assembled, quickly organized itself, and then headed towards Solemnas.
Such a commotion could not possibly escape the surveillance of the Inquisition. They were wary of the dark angels gathering in large numbers, but they did not rashly submit a document suspecting a dark angel rebellion to Lord Terra's desk.
In response to this anomaly, the Inquisition immediately selected a senior Inquisitor and ordered him to lead a Space Marine chapter with which the Inquisition had a good working relationship to follow the Dark Angels at a distance, to guard against any evil deeds that would violate the interests of the Empire and the will of the Emperor.
......
Meanwhile, in the Soul Forge of Vashtor, the Lord of the Forges watched with curiosity as Komi removed his hood, asking, "Is that enough? The Dark Angels betrayed us? Caliban? The Primarch? Do they really believe these baseless ravings?"
Koken just smiled mysteriously, "This galaxy has dark secrets you can't imagine, and I've only managed to figure out a little bit of them by chance."
"So what exactly is the secret?" Vashtor asked tentatively, to which Komi simply replied coldly.
"You haven't even become a god yet, and you're already thinking about knowing these things. Isn't that a bit too early?"
Was this Tzeentch's warning? A warning to himself not to meddle in other people's business?
Vashtor felt a chill run down his spine and dared not press Gu Jian for more information.
Meanwhile, Komi ordered Vashtor to continue preparations. He donned a costume modeled after the Primarch Dorne armor, ready to demonstrate an ancient truth to the Black Templars.
It is disrespectful for a son to scold his father.
Chapter 170: Where is Tarasin? Tarasin went out.
Sending a message to a warship is far easier than sending it to a fortress, at least that's what Vashtor thought before he made contact with the Black Templar's warships.
The message traveled silently through the cables, and Vashtor focused his attention to ensure it didn't disappear halfway.
Suddenly, a series of loud shouts came from below, shaking Vashtor to his core.
"What is loyalty?!"
"To die for the Emperor!"
"How can one serve the emperor to the death?!"
"Exterminate the aliens! Burn the heretics! Slaughter all mutants!"
The shouts never stopped, shattering the sound that Vashtor was struggling to control. He couldn't help but glare at the black-armored warriors with resentment, blaming them for shouting so loudly under the priest's guidance.
But there was no other way. Vashtor could only keep his composure and forge a new signal from the Soul Forge, sending it toward the Black Sanctuary fleet sailing in reality.
This time, Vashtor overcame the Black Templar's enormous roar, allowing Komi to project his image in front of a Black Templar Marshal.
Dorne's armor seemed quite unfamiliar to these marshals who had never seen the grandeur of the Great Expedition. However, Koji had come up with a very comprehensive idea: he sculpted a face that was about 80% similar to Dorne's and put it on his own face.
The stiffness of the mask, combined with the distortion of long-distance psionic communication, made Komi's fake Dorne figure appear even more demonic and eerie.
Even more swiftly than Azrael, the marshal charged forward and slashed without asking any questions, silently cutting through the illusory figure with his sword.
"Is my child being a little too reckless?"
"Demon...how dare you appear before us in the image of our father!" The marshal cursed through gritted teeth. Seeing how enraged these black sanctuaries were, Kouki knew he didn't need to say anything more. He simply gave them the location of Solemnas, then dusted himself off and disappeared.
As for Honso, Komi only had Vashtor do one thing.
That is to project his face onto the shattered steel fortress that is being rebuilt, and shout it out in front of all the warbands and slaves.
"Honsor Silver, remember what I said. Today I'll stand with Solemnus and curse you. Don't think you're so great just because you stole the Shattered Steel Fortress. In my eyes, you're just a fist of the Empire. You're not a steel warrior with iron will and body at all."
It was really exciting to run away after cursing, but Komi didn't have the naive idea of observing the reaction of the shattered steel fortress. After cursing, he had Vashtor withdraw his power.
After doing all this, Komi also had to set off with Vashtor to the vicinity of Solemnas, waiting for the Dark Angels and Black Templars to begin their battle before infiltrating with Vashtor to plunder some good things.
"Then what about the Blood Raven Legion? Why don't you go and call them up too?" Vashtor was puzzled by this, thinking that Komi had some special plan.
However, Komi didn't have that many thoughts at all; he simply didn't know how to provoke the Blood Raven Legion into losing their temper and reason.
Are you suggesting that, in front of their Chapter Commander Gabriel, they should say that their Chapter has a psionic think tank that believes in Khorne?
It seems like Khorne should be more furious; who knows why He accepted the worship of a psionic think tank?
As they moved away from the Soul Forge and were about to leap from the Warp into reality, Koji slammed his hand on the armrest of the throne, remembering a brilliant idea to provoke Gabriel, the leader of the Blood Ravens.
He has a somewhat ambiguous relationship with a Spirit Race prophet named Martha... If we could start from this point...
