Kagami looked over, her expression becoming somewhat serious.

"This means..."

"The longer you stay, the faster you forget."

Yuuki closed the manual and patted Kagami on the shoulder.

Kagami paused for a moment, then glanced at the wall of fire.

Yuuki shook his head: "Don't think too much about it. Call Sonozaki Kirihiko over here."

Kagami nodded and left. A little while later, Sonozaki Kirihiko came over.

"What do you want?"

"Your family sent people to investigate this place. Did anyone come out alive?"

After a moment of silence, Sonozaki Kirihiko replied, "There was one, but he had gone mad when he came out. He kept repeating that I am human and that I work in a factory."

Yuuki stroked her chin and asked, "Did he say anything else?"

"There's only one sentence that really stuck with me," said Kirihiko Sonozaki. "Don't trust the mirror; the person in the mirror isn't you."

Just as Yuuki was pondering, a commotion suddenly arose from the crowd. Yuuki and Sonozaki Kirihiko exchanged a glance and quickly walked over.

"What happened?" Yu Xing pushed through the crowd and saw a young police officer slumped on the ground, his face pale and his eyes vacant.

"He was fine just now, and suddenly he became like this."

The person next to him was clearly a little anxious, and Youxing slowly squatted down to check.

After some observation, Yuuki discovered that the police officer's presence was gradually disappearing.

Yu Xing quickly grabbed his hand and asked, "What's your name?"

Faced with this question, the young police officer just stared blankly at Yuuki, his lips moving but unable to utter a single word.

This made Yu Xing's heart tighten, and he quickly stood up and scanned the crowd.

With just a quick glance, he noticed that several people had similar empty expressions on their faces, only to a lesser degree.

He thought to himself, "This is troublesome," but kept saying, "Now everyone should immediately recall their past and exchange information with those around them."

The crowd immediately became noisy, and people began to check each other's identities in pairs.

"My name is Yamada Ichiro, Assistant Inspector of the First Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Metropolitan Police Department, and I live in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo..."

"My name is Suzuki Jiro, a member of the Metropolitan Police Department's special forces, and I live in Saitama Prefecture..."

Everyone is desperately repeating their own identity information.

Yu Xing stood in the middle of the crowd, watching them prepare to say something, but her mind suddenly went blank.

He blinked, looked at Kagami, and suddenly felt that the face was familiar, but he couldn't quite put his finger on where he had seen it before.

"Are you alright?" Kagami waved her hand in front of him.

Yu Xing opened her mouth, only to find that she couldn't even pronounce the other person's name.

Two or three seconds later, the memory came flooding back.

"Kagami."

Yuuki called out Kagami's name.

"What's wrong?" This made Kagami very nervous. "What happened?"

"I got infected too." Youxing didn't hide anything. "For a moment just now, my mind went blank."

"Don't worry, it'll only last a moment."

Seeing Kagami's face turn pale instantly, Yuuki quickly explained, "It will probably take a long time for the rules to have an effect on me."

"We can't wait any longer."

The situation here also attracted Hikawa Makoto's attention, and he spoke up.

“We can’t wait for Ashin’s news any longer. We must take action, or we will soon find ourselves in a dilemma.”

Hikawa Makoto grabbed Yuuki's shoulder and emphasized to him.

Yu Xing paused for a moment, then said, "You should know that once we go in, we won't be able to contact the outside world, and the future is unknown."

Bingchuan Cheng did not back down: "I think we can't let him struggle alone in there. We need to shift our strength in there."

"It's too dangerous. For an ordinary person, going in would be suicide."

Yuuki didn't quite agree with Hikawa Makoto's idea.

“Then let someone extraordinary in.” Bingchuan Cheng looked directly at him. “I’ll go in.”

Hikawa Makoto laughed and said, "I wouldn't call myself an ordinary person, would I? I used to be a Kamen Rider too."

As a former Kamen Rider, Makoto Hikawa believes that his willpower is much stronger than that of a normal person.

“But that’s all in the past,” Kagami interjected. “Now that you can’t transform, what’s the difference between you and an ordinary person?”

Hikawa Makoto's smile froze on his face, but he didn't hesitate much and continued speaking.

"There is a difference, the difference lies in experience."

"Itsuki Makoto said slowly."

“I’ve been through so many battles, and I’ve been to places a hundred times more dangerous than this. Besides, Ashin is my nephew, and I can’t just stand by and watch him go in there alone.”

He paused, glancing at the officers: "Besides, most of us were prepared to sacrifice ourselves when we got here. Death isn't scary; what's scary is dying without bringing any value."

Yu Xing paused for a moment, then asked, "So what are you planning to do?"

"Of course it's a violation of the rules. Doing the same thing might end up in the same place as him."

Hikawa Makoto's thoughts were flowing smoothly.

"You can try, but not by yourself."

If Makoto Hikawa also gets caught up in it, this team will probably collapse very quickly.

"Then I'll go too."

Kagami stepped forward.

Yu Xing cast a dissenting vote: "You two are the core of the team, at least one of you has to stay here. I'm not very good at calming people down."

The situation reached a stalemate, and the three of them looked at each other, unsure of what to do.

Just then, a figure squeezed out from the crowd.

Sato Jiro walked up to Yuuki and patted his chest: "I'll go."

Yuuki looked over and found that there was no fear in Sato Jiro's eyes, but rather a determined light shining in them.

He genuinely wanted to go to the other side to help Bingchuan Xin.

"Are you crazy?"

Kagami, standing to the side, was somewhat surprised: "You're just an ordinary person; going in is just suicide!"

“I know,” Sato Jiro nodded, “but I have to go in.”

Long before the Sonozaki family fought alongside Hikawa Shin, he regarded Hikawa Shin as his own child.

He just doesn't want to have any regrets right now.

"Have you figured it out?"

Yuuki stared at Sato Jiro and asked.

"Of course, whether he's alive or dead, I want to go in and see for myself, at least to find out what's going on with him."

This time, Yuuki didn't object. He stepped forward and gently tapped Sato Jiro's shoulder with his fist.

"It seems he didn't misjudge you, nor did he save the wrong person. Go ahead, I will protect you."

Hikawa Makoto was surprised that Yuuki would agree. He tried to stop him, but Kagami held him back.

“Let him go with you. We may have underestimated Ashin’s importance to you.”

Kagami spoke softly, and Hikawa Makoto closed his eyes.

Seeing that everyone acquiesced, Sato Jiro took a deep breath, walked to Hikawa Makoto's side, and after exchanging a glance, the two simultaneously recited:

"I am not human."

The next second, Sato Jiro and Hikawa Makoto disappeared together.

With two more people missing from the group, the atmosphere became even more desolate. Almost everyone stood there, stunned, simply repeating their identities.

What's the next step?

Amidst low murmurs, Sonozaki Kirihiko stepped forward and asked.

"We can't just keep waiting; we need to figure something out."

Yuuki looked away and took out the manual.

He opened the "Weirdo Handbook": "These rules aren't necessarily all rules that lead to certain death. We need to figure out where the boundaries of these rules are."

"Only by figuring these things out can we find a way to break the rules and still safely get to the other side."

There is nothing on the surface world, and Yuuki believes that all the secrets are buried in the deep world.

Is that so?

Sonozaki Kirihiko seemed lost in thought, while Kagami looked at the rest of the group.

If they want to test the boundaries of the rules, their only option now is to fill the gaps with people.

So he looked around and asked, "Who's willing?"

Everyone's attention was focused on Kagami and the others. Yuuki didn't hide the content of their discussion from them. Faced with Kagami's question, everyone held their breath.

This question is tantamount to asking them who is willing to die voluntarily. People always feel fear when facing death, so everyone hesitated for a moment.

But soon, a young police officer raised his hand.

"I come."
