In a large army of five or six thousand green-skinned soldiers who went on an expedition, the number of soldiers left behind to guard the camp usually did not exceed five to ten percent of the total force.

In other words, after the Irontooth tribe sets out on their expedition, at most only a very small number of orc boys and a few ghouls will remain in the camp.

Even less.

Chapter 31 The Stealing Plan

Lawson began to formulate a battle plan.

He divided the ninety assassins into four combat units.

First, the following troops: Number 3 and Number 4 led eighteen suicide soldiers from Squad A and Squad D, plus the two of them, for a total of twenty people.

Mission: Follow Jawed Gluck's army into the deep deck, maintain a safe distance, and avoid direct combat with the army.

After the orc army engages the demons, the following troops infiltrate the edge of the battlefield from the flanks, specifically targeting orcs and demons who are isolated or seriously wounded in the melee.

Lawson paused for two seconds before giving the order.

He knew what this meant.

The deep deck is the most dangerous area on a wrecked ship.

Fizex once said that there were organized demonic entities there, including vampires, plague carriers, and even Khorne precursors.

When the twenty Katachon jungle warriors entered that area, they faced not only the chaotic battlefield of the Greenskins and Demons, but also the reality distortion caused by the infiltration of warp energy, unpredictable environmental anomalies, and something even worse that might seep out from any of the walls.

This is a team that will never return.

But Lawson still made the decision.

Because he needs subspace energy.

The battle on the deep deck is currently the only opportunity for him to acquire a large amount of warp energy.

"Number 3, number 4."

"Your mission is to kill as many demons as possible."

Number 3 and Number 4 replied without hesitation: "Loyalty, sir."

The main attack force was led by Lawson himself, consisting of Squad B, Squad C, Squad E, Squad F, and some reserve forces, totaling fifty men.

After the Iron Fang army set out, they launched a surprise attack on the empty camp, annihilated the remaining troops, and seized supplies.

The mobile unit consisted of two squads of ten men each, led by number 11, totaling twenty men.

Set up blocking positions at key passage nodes between the main attacking force and the camp to intercept any Greenskin reinforcements that might turn back from the direction of the main force.

Ten elite soldiers held their ground, protecting the safety of the rear base.

Little Wrench should come along.

Its ears will still be useful in the following actions.

Lawson shared the battle plan with all the assassins through a mind-to-mind communication system.

After receiving the plan, the ninety assassins began to carry out their preparations for departure in an orderly manner.

Weapon inspection, ammunition distribution, grenade and explosive configuration, and confirmation of retreat routes.

When Little Wrench was told it had to go out with him, both of its big ears drooped down at the same time.

"Outside...there are big green stuntmen...lots of big green stuntmen..."

It flinched, but then glanced at the plasma pistol at Lawson's waist and the expressionless, burly men of Qatar behind him, and perked up its ears again.

"Little wrench follows Big Shrimp Boss! Big Shrimp Boss is the best!"

The single-strand rope was still tied around Number 1's waist.

Two days later, Iron Teeth Gluck completed the troop assembly.

Through the perspective of the scouts at the front, Lawson witnessed the departure of the Greenskin army.

More than six thousand green-skinned creatures poured out of the Iron Teeth tribe's camp.

Leading the way were a large number of farts, who were used as scouts and cannon fodder, screaming and shoving, some even being kicked forward by the orc boy's big feet from behind.

In the middle were over four hundred fully armed orc lads, arranged in a formation only Greenskins could comprehend.

In reality, it was just a large, green, fleshy ball surging forward in the passageway.

Among the orc lads, the five Norberts stood like five mobile green fortresses, each a head taller than the orc lads around them, wearing the heaviest armor and carrying the largest weapons.

At the very front of the army, one figure was taller than all the Normans combined.

Iron-Toothed Gluck.

Even from a distance of several hundred meters, Lawson could still clearly see the outline of the green-skinned leader from the perspective of the scout assassin.

It is nearly three meters tall.

His entire body was covered in a heavy full-body armor made of various metals crudely welded together; the thickness of those iron plates was even comparable to the side armor of the Imperial chariots.

His right hand gripped a ridiculously large power claw, with a power field blade attached to the end of each of the five thick metal knuckles.

Half of its two rows of fangs on its lower jaw have been replaced with metal dentures made of stainless steel.

"Waaaaaaaaagh!"

Iron-Toothed Gluck let out a deafening battle cry as the army set off.

The roar echoed for at least two kilometers through the wrecked ship's metal frame, the sound reverberating through countless passageways and cabins, creating a thunderous roar that lasted for several seconds.

More than 6,000 green-skinned trains responded simultaneously.

"WAAAAAAAAAGH!"

At that moment, the entire deck trembled.

The green tide surged toward the deeper decks.

From his bunker in the distance, Lawson watched the green army disappear at the end of the passage through the eyes of a scout.

He counted the number of greenskins left in the camp.

Just as he had predicted, Irontooth Gluck took away almost all of his fighting force.

Only about thirty orc lads and a few hundred farts remained in the camp.

The orc boys who stayed behind were all listless.

All the spots for going to war have been taken; staying behind to guard the house is a disgrace.

They wandered aimlessly around the camp, some amusing themselves by kicking farts, while others simply lay down in their huts and took a nap.

Vigilance is approximately zero.

"Set off."

Lawson issued the order for a full-scale attack.

The following troops, led by No. 3 and No. 4, took the lead.

Twenty suicide soldiers, in two columns of ten, moved rapidly toward the deep deck, following the trail left by the Greenskin army: footprints everywhere, scattered garbage, and the pungent smell that only a few thousand Greenskins would leave behind.

They maintained a distance of at least 500 meters from the green-skinned army.

In the complex tunnel system of the wrecked ship, a distance of 500 meters, plus the concealment provided by the overhead ventilation ducts, was enough for twenty well-trained Qatarchan soldiers to keep track of the Greenskins from outside their perception range.

At the same time, Lawson led fifty main attack troops and twenty mobile troops to set off simultaneously.

The mobile force set up blocking positions at three key passage nodes between the camp and the deep deck.

Each node has six to seven people, equipped with bomb guns, laser guns, and directional mines.

If any units of the Greenskin army turn back to support the camp, they will be the first to run into the crossfire of these blocking positions.

With fifty men and small wrenches, Lawson completed the deployment at five pre-selected locations around the camp.

Their chosen ambush zone covered the three main entrances and exits on the north side of the camp.

These three entrances face the direction they came from, and are the passages through which the remaining orcs are most likely to send out patrols.

Within a range of fifty to one hundred meters outside each entrance and exit, the assassins spent two hours setting up a dense network of traps.

Directional mines, tripwire grenades, and gravity-fall traps designed using tunnel structures.

After the setup was completed, everyone retreated into the designated bunkers and firing positions.

Then comes the waiting.

Chapter 32 Greenskins vs. Demons

Lawson was simultaneously monitoring the situation in both directions through their shared consciousness.

Following behind, Number 3 and Number 4 were leading their men through a main corridor on Deck 80. The Waaagh shouts and chaotic footsteps of the green-skinned army ahead formed a relentlessly advancing wall of sound.

The beastmen who remained behind were completely unaware and continued to kill time idly.

About three hours later.

The first battle signals came from the following troops.

Number 3's perspective was shared in Lawson's mind.

Deep deck.

Iron-Toothed Gluck's army encountered demons here.

The passageway suddenly changed.

A dark red substance began to appear on the wall, which looked like an organic film seeping out from the metal surface.

The temperature is rising.

The nature of the subspace is permeating reality—when the barrier is weakened to a certain extent, the material world will begin to grow things that do not belong to it.

Iron-Toothed Gluck's army paid no heed to these concerns.

More than six thousand green-skinned creatures howled as they charged into the passage that had been eroded by subspace energy.

Then the demon appeared.
