On another occasion, a canned food supply dropped by air helped the entire fortress survive a food shortage.

So, for them, the victory of Lawson was not the glory of some distant warlord.

It's possible that my next box of ammunition might actually arrive.

Perhaps the next time the enemy storms the city walls, a White Tiger Power Armor will emerge from the flames.

In an underground chapel on a hive planet, tens of thousands of people kneel before a dim, two-headed eagle.

Upon hearing the broadcast, the high priest was stunned at first, then raised his hands.

"The emperor still gazes into the shadows!"

Cries and cheers erupted from the crowd.

Some call Lawson the Emperor's Blade.

Some people shouted, "Long live the one who holds the seal!"

Some people simply knelt on the ground, repeatedly chanting, "The support will arrive soon."

At times like these, faith does not require complex doctrines.

All it needs is a voice that is still resisting.

Lawson's voice continued.

"My battlefield has been cleaned up."

"Anyone else coming?"

"But you are all cowards who bully the weak and fear the strong."

After a brief pause, he began calling roll.

"The scum of the World Eater Chapter."

"Don't you guys love howling the most? Don't you love chopping the most? Don't you love making Butcher's Spikes vibrate like you need to pee?"

"Come on, listen carefully."

“I killed your winged mad dog father.”

"His axe is in my hands now."

"I thought the original name sounded awful, so I changed it."

"Now, it's called Angron."

"Want to take it back?"

Lawson chuckled.

"Then let's go."

"Stop killing slaves in the ship's hold, stop howling at the weak. Come to Agrippina, come to me."

“I will nail you one by one to the handle of the axe, so that your families can be reunited.”

On countless World Devourer warships, roars nearly overturned the bridges.

A leader of the World Eater gang raised his chain axe and chopped the communications station to pieces. Shards flew everywhere, but remnants of the channel still carried Lawson's voice from the backup line.

"Losen!"

The butcher's nail on the back of the warband leader's head throbbed wildly. He longed to lead his fleet to Agrippina immediately and tear that mortal to shreds.

But the will of the Blood God weighed heavily on them.

Khorne suffered too much loss in Agrippina.

That great battle consumed a vast number of demonic legions, and the fall of Angron caused the Warp to churn with blood. Khorne needed slaughter, needed war, needed the blood of other battlefields to replenish its losses.

The Blood God forbids them from rushing towards Agrippina now.

This is more painful than any humiliation.

The World Eaters couldn't bear their enemies laughing wildly in front of the entire galaxy, trampling on their father's name, so they turned to other battlefields.

On a warship, the World Eater champion slammed his forehead against an iron pillar, again and again, until his helmet cracked.

He was panting heavily when he roared at the warrior beside him, "Remember this voice! On the day the Blood God allows it, we'll retrieve the Primal's axe!"

Lawson continued:

"And Abaddon."

This sentence changed the atmosphere on many channels once again.

The Black Legion Warmaster, a name that represents too many defeats, a burning world, and a long nightmare in the history of the Empire.

"I'm sorry, I didn't get to see you."

"If you don't come to me, I'll come to you."

"Wait for me."

Inside the Soul of Vengeance, Abaddon finally let out a cold laugh upon hearing this.

"bring it on."

"Leave Agrippina's meat grinder, leave Dante and your fleet, leave those little tricks."

He raised his hand and placed it on the tactical platform.

“Appear before me.”

I will tear you to pieces.

For him, the more arrogant Lawson was, the more likely he was to step out of his defensive perimeter.

As long as that day comes, the Black Legion will have a chance.

On the other end of the broadcast, Lawson's tone finally changed.

"Citizens of the Empire in the Milky Way."

"Loyal warriors on all fronts of the Empire."

"And the governors of each galaxy who are still holding out."

"The Empire has not forgotten you."

After this statement was made, many places fell silent.

Lawson continued:

"Your perseverance is very meaningful."

"Hold on a little longer."

"Imperial support will arrive soon."

"Victory belongs to all mankind."

The communication was disconnected.

The electrical noise disappeared.

But the dark side of the entire empire was like being hit by a massive cannonball and plunged into deep water.

The ripples began to spread.

The soldiers on the front lines cheered.

The company commanders of the battle group re-examined the star map.

The Astral Army commander immediately ordered the communications officer to record the entire broadcast and forward it to every position.

The Christian monks copied the last few words onto parchment and posted them on the entrance to the chapel.

Many governors, however, had sleepless nights.

In the Agrippina sector, in a recruiting system called Lylisa, the governor's mansion was brightly lit.

Governor Harron sat at the end of the long table, his face somber.

His staff was divided into three factions.

The first faction advocated immediately restoring Imperial communications, submitting a declaration of loyalty to Lawson, and proactively requesting to accept the Death Squad's communication node.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer was the first to speak: "My lord, Agrippina has won. Lawson has Dante's endorsement, the title of Sealholder, and the military strength to break through the Chaos Fleet. If we take the initiative to align ourselves with them, we can at least preserve the Governor's Mansion."

The Minister of War retorted: "Accepting suicide mission nodes is like putting your neck in his hands. Today he helps you with communications, tomorrow he'll know the ammunition stockpile and officer list for every barracks."

The Chancellor of the Exchequer sneered: "You think he doesn't know now? The fact that he dares to speak across all frequencies means his communications can already cross star systems. The point isn't whether he can find out, but whether we choose to let him know as loyal subjects or as suspects."

The second faction advocated for stubborn resistance.

One of the noble representatives stood up.

“Lossen is merely a warlord of Agrippina. Imperial law has not authorized him to take over Lelisa. We can appeal to Dante, to the Inquisition, to Mars.”

Harron looked at him.

Which route should the appeal be submitted via?

The nobleman paused.

Lawson's fleet was probably the first to arrive.

The third group is fence-sitters.

They suggested sending a vaguely worded congratulatory telegram acknowledging Agrippina's victory, praising the Emperor, and temporarily denying Lawson's control over the sector. Simultaneously, they recommended secretly transferring some wealth and family members to an underground fortress in case the situation changed.

Harron listened to all the opinions but did not immediately express his opinion.

He knew very well that Lawson's promise of "support will arrive soon" was both a promise and a threat.

For a world of loyalty, this is salvation.

This was the final notice to the independent warlords.

He looked toward Agrippina on the star map and slowly said:

"Prepare three documents."

"The first is to congratulate the one who holds the seal and to reaffirm Lelissa's loyalty to the Golden Throne."
