Warhammer: Empire Reboot

After the Great Rift, the traitorous warbands on the dark side of the galaxy became more active, but their replenishment capabilities remained a problem.
Qualified genetically modified seeds will always be a scarce resource.
Huron's ability to establish himself in the Maelstrom, continuously recruit new members, and secure trade with numerous Chaos factions is largely due to his possession of the Gene Seed.
He enjoys hunting down loyal Space Marines.
That's what I'm after.
Lawson walked to a row of stasis chambers.
There are old-fashioned nameplates on the hull.
[Sample of the Descendants of the Holy Blood Angel]
[Sample of the Ultra Warrior Lineage]
[Dark Angels Genealogy Sample]
[Sample of the Imperial Fist Genealogy]
[Sample of White Scar Lineage]
[A Sample of the Steel Hand's Lineage]
[Salamander pedigree sample]
There are also many samples whose specific battle groups cannot be identified and can only be labeled as "suspected loyalists", "unknown subgroups", "remnants of the expeditionary fleet", or "red pirate raiding batches".
As Lawson looked at the gene seeds, a slow smile crept onto his lips.
"This is Huron's true foundation."
He raised his hand and opened a set of bee swarm analysis charts.
"The Chaos Warband on the dark side has always been held hostage by the Gene Seed. Many traitor legions may seem arrogant, but their replenishment system is terribly flawed."
"Some rely on polluting ordinary people, but the success rate is low."
"Some rely on the Dark Machine Cult, but the cost is very high."
"Some went to dig up corpses on the battlefield and steal the fallen soldiers from the Loyal Faction."
"Some people simply treat genetically modified seeds as currency."
"Huron was able to keep all sorts of pirates, traitors, black market merchants, and the Dark Mechanicus in the vortex because of his ships, ports, treasure troves, trading channels, and things like that."
He pointed to the stasis chambers.
"One hundred thousand gene seeds."
"Enough to buy many lives, and enough to make many war gangs risk their lives for him."
Now, all of these belong to Lawson.
T-001 asked, "Boss, shall we transfer the T-series and medical experimentation department?"
Lawson did not answer immediately.
Looking at the rows of stasis chambers, a new idea came to him.
His core group is essentially based on extremely high loyalty, strong execution capabilities, and a stable foundation.
What would happen if we used the foundational sequence as an experimental vector and implanted gene seeds from different lineages?
Will the Ultra Warrior lineage improve command and stability?
Will the Blood Angel lineage avoid Black Wrath and Red Thirst under the suppression of the Death Squad Loyalty template?
Can the Imperial Fist lineage be combined with the Xuanwu defensive system?
Is the white scar lineage suitable for the Flying Bears or the High Speed Assault Force?
Will the Steel Hand lineage undergo any special changes in mechanical adaptability with the T sequence?
Could the Salamander lineage enhance the fire system of the Suanni or the Red Dragon?
These questions are all worth experimenting with.
Of course, we can't rush it.
Gene seeds are not ordinary medicines.
It involves Astartes' complete organ system modification, mental stability, genetic rejection, long-term growth, and combat templates.
Lawson has no shortage of regular combat units.
He wants new possibilities.
"Seal off".
"Losen said."
"All of them are jointly reviewed by T sequence, Bixie, and gene-sniffing cornerstone."
“Complete sample classification”.
"The next step is to establish a small-scale implantation experiment using the cornerstone sequence as a carrier."
"Don't do it in batches yet."
T-001 responded.
"receive."
As Krus looked at the gene seeds, a tremor ran through his mechanical eyes.
He knew the significance of 100,000 gene seeds.
This is the seed of the future legion.
Following the seed region is the second closed region.
The atmosphere here is noticeably different.
The temperature is even lower.
The psionic fluctuations are sharper.
In the central area, a ring array is suspended.
The array is inlaid with thousands of shimmering crystals.
The crystals come in various colors, some are blue and white, some are light green, and some resemble moonlight.
They are held in place by a black alloy frame, and inside each crystal, it seems as if tiny shadows are moving.
T-001 scan followed by opening.
"Spirit Race Soul Stone Array".
"Quantity: 3,722 pieces."
"Among them, there are 419 individuals with high psionic strength."
"It may contain the souls of Eldar prophets, warriors, psykers, or members of the Ark world."
The mechanical arm of the Xerox twitched slightly.
"Huron once plundered the Eldar ark fragments?"
T-001 said, "According to the Red Pirate's record fragments, the Destroyer Ghost participated in the ambush of the Eldar Void Fleet. It may have come from black market transactions, battlefield loot, or the plunder of Ark World fragments."
Lawson walked to the array of soul stones.
The soul stone contains the souls of the dead from the Spirit Clan.
For the Eldar, this is the last refuge from their souls falling into the mouths of Slaanesh.
If these soul stones fall into Huron's hands, they will most likely be used as bargaining chips.
It can be sold to the Dark Eldar.
They can extort Eldar Arks.
It can be used to make a deal with the devil.
It could even be used by certain dark mechanical cults to study psionic structures.
Lawson stared at the points of light, his gaze darkening slightly.
He disliked the Eldar.
They also do not believe in the Spirit Race.
But these soul stones are valuable.
It's not simply about resource value.
Rather, it is political value, psionic value, and value for future strategic planning.
If one day he can give the Eldar a home other than Slaanesh, even if it's only a partial home, these Soul Stones will become a very important pawn.
The Eldar are arrogant.
But even the most arrogant will bow before the soul.
Lawson said, "Seal it off."
"It will be useful in the future."
Record T-001.
"receive."
The third floor is the place that Xerath is most looking forward to.
The gates here are ancient mechanical sealing structures.
The outer layer has many traces of permissions forcibly rewritten by Huron, but the core lock still maintains some of the old Empire's standards for forging caskets.
Krus stood in front of the door, his mechanical body trembling slightly.
"My lord, this may be the thing that has been rumored."
Lawson looked at him.
"open."
