Warhammer: Empire Reboot

He held the spear of hell in his hand.
The spear was covered in blasphemous runes, its tip seemingly condensed with dried starlight. It had pierced the surfaces of many worlds, heralding impending destruction. Many planets' inhabitants had heard Harken's voice and seen that spear embedded in what they thought were impregnable walls before they even saw the Black Legion's fleet.
Haken is good at creating fear.
He had studied the Night Lords' tactics of terror and perused the Blood Codex of Nostramer, forged in the blood of kings. That evil book contained extensive discussions on how to make a city collapse before the sword fell.
He studied Angron's Blood Scroll and learned from it how to manipulate people through hatred and slaughter.
He even sacrificed some of his sanity to peek at the fragments of the Book of Magnus kept by the Legion of the Thousand Sons, in order to understand the connection between legends, symbols, prophecies, and fears.
Many imperial worlds were not conquered by Harken in a direct confrontation.
They died on the radio first.
The supply line was cut off by the raptor.
The communications tower was burned down by the Hellfire Dragon.
The commander was skinned alive and hung on the tower spire.
The nobles were forced to hear their children screaming on a public channel.
On the battlefield, the soldiers heard Harken repeatedly recount their regiment's record of defeats, prophecies of destruction in their hometown, and false rumors that their commander was preparing to evacuate.
Fear flows into the drain like sewage.
A few days later, the city opened its gates on its own.
Harken knew all of this.
He knew that a person's spirit would collapse before their body.
He also knew that the empire preferred to suppress fear with faith and order.
Therefore, he will first shatter the order, and then corrupt the faith.
At this moment, he stood atop the spire of Saint Harbor, looking down at the world that had just been brought back into order by Lawson.
His birds of prey have already occupied several spires.
The hell dragon is circling in the clouds.
The remains of nobles hung high up.
The old broadcasting network was infiltrated by evil magic.
Everything is ready.
Harken raised the spear of hell.
He aimed the spearhead at the top of the tower beneath his feet.
His sinister laughter came through the radio, sounding even more chilling.
"You think you've seen hope."
"Do you think those blue-armored giants, iron-handed monsters, wolf cubs, noble knights, mechanical priests, and that so-called Dark Handprinter can pull you out of your fate?"
"madness."
"Your nests will all become sacrificial pits."
"Your children will learn their first correct word under the boots of the Black Legion."
"Abaddon."
Harken's voice carried the pollution of the subspace, and the techniques he had extracted from numerous theories of fear.
He deliberately pointed out the water, food, children, nests, and sacrificial pits.
These are the things that civilians on Vigilant Star are most afraid of losing.
Harken continued:
"Eighty days and nights."
"Remember this number."
"After eighty days and nights, the Vigilant Star will belong to the Chaos War General."
"The Black Legion will reign supreme here."
"Your hero will be dragged before Abaddon, his chest ripped open, and his heart offered up."
The spear of hell slowly pierced towards the top of the tower.
"I, Harken the Starslayer, on behalf of the Black Legion, declare your destruction."
Inside the Dominion of Saintsport, alarms blared incessantly.
The cornerstone sequence quickly marks all compromised old broadcast nodes.
The Bi'an battle group began clearing out the Spire area.
Air defense fire control is tracking the trajectory of the Hellfire Dragon.
Haldor Frosty cursed in the channel, saying he'd been wanting to kill a few flying Chaos bastards for a long time.
Stronus calmly instructed the fire network to avoid densely populated areas and prioritize blocking the descent path of the Hell Dragons.
Just then, a sentence came over the loudspeaker.
"Really? I don't believe it."
It wasn't Harken's voice; that voice sounded familiar.
The entire old broadcasting network of Vigilant Star was jolted awake as if by a slap.
Harken's death announcement was interrupted.
Inside the shelter, many people were stunned.
On the front lines, the Astronaut soldiers were also stunned.
The worker, who had been trembling just seconds before, looked up.
In the Royal Court of Saint Harbor, Serena also opened her eyes wide.
"That voice..."
Haken stood atop the tower, his movements halting.
Hasn't he already taken control of Imperial Broadcasting?
He personally used evil magic to infiltrate the old communication nodes.
Where is that sound coming from?
not good!!!!
The voice came from behind him.

"what……"
"what……"
Inside the shelter, the woman who had been trembling while holding her child just moments before was now stunned.
The old man next to her was also stunned.
Inside the factory, a row of workers holding tools looked up at the old loudspeaker on the wall.
In the front-line trenches, a new recruit of the Astronomical Army had just put the Emperor's Amulet in his mouth, preparing to bite it and pray, when he was so frightened by this shout that he almost swallowed it.
"Who was calling just now?"
The veteran, holding a laser gun, frowned and listened for two seconds.
Another announcement came over the loudspeaker.
"Ah...ah..."
This time it's even worse.
The recruit's face turned pale: "Are they one of ours?"
The veteran listened for a while, then suddenly grinned.
"Not like."
Who does it resemble?
The veteran spat.
"Like that talkative black canned food guy from earlier."
An eerie silence fell over the entire planet.
Nobody knows what happened.
The old broadcast had no image.
Only sound.
They could not hear the clash of swords or the roar of bombs; they could only hear the Chaos Lord, who had been proclaiming destruction just minutes before, screaming intermittently through the loudspeakers of the entire planet.
"what……"
"Ah...ah..."
"Uh--"
The sound stopped abruptly.
Many people held their breath.
The next moment, the broadcast rang out again.
This time it wasn't a scream, but the sound of something heavy hitting the metal floor.
