Lawson stood in front of the star map and tapped the table lightly with his knuckles.
"Want to come inside?"
You've come to the wrong door.
The psychic perception layer unfolds.
Endogenous psionic energy spreads along the swarm network, like an invisible giant hand, grasping those teleportation coordinates that are taking shape.
However, he was not arrogant enough to believe that he could completely seize control of the Black Legion's teleportation.
That was a passage torn open by the Soul of Vengeance, the Word Bearer's Anti-Holy Word, the Dark Mechanicus teleportation array, and a large number of sacrifices.
Forcibly intercepting them could cause spatial turbulence, crushing some of the enemies or causing them to scatter randomly into civilian areas.
Lawson doesn't want randomness.
It means sending the enemy to where he wants them to go.
So he didn't deadlift.
He simply placed pre-placed guiding anchor points near a few key coordinates, making them "easier to be transmitted and identified".
Do not force your way out.
They simply moved the doorknob slightly to the side.
A little bit.
But it is deadly enough.
The Black Legion's teleportation beam pierced through the rift in reality, carrying thousands of traitors toward Vigilant Star.
They thought they would appear inside the hive.
He imagined that when he opened his eyes, he would find himself surrounded by panicked crowds, warehouses, command posts, and noble spires behind the imperial defenses.
Then they saw the green-skinned creature.
The first Chaos Warriors landed in the eastern wasteland of Mortwald.
Far from the hive defenses, this place is littered with scrap metal, orc oil stains, explosion craters, and green-skinned war machines shattered by Imperial artillery fire.
A small squad of Black Legion soldiers had just recovered from the dizziness of teleportation when they heard the heavy sound of engines around them.
They looked up.
At the end of the sandstorm, rows of red-painted tanks emerged.
The front of the car is welded with iron teeth.
The exhaust pipe was spewing black smoke.
An orc boy stood on the roof of the vehicle, brandishing a large machete, a crude rocket launcher, and a heavy machine gun.
"Canned dried shrimp!"
The orc leader's eyes lit up when he saw the group of humanoid giants wearing power armor.
It doesn't care at all whether those power armors are blue, black, red, or have an eight-pointed star on them.
Big guy. Power armor. Can fight.
This is enough.
"WAAAGH!"
The orc caravan surged forward like a metallic flood.
The Chaos Space Marines opened fire immediately.
The bomb gun blew up the first few flying cars in the front row.
An orc motorcycle was hit in the fuel tank by a bomb and tumbled into a fireball.
The cab of a truck was blasted through, and half of the driver's head was gone. However, the truck continued to rush dozens of meters due to inertia, crashing into a Black Legion soldier and knocking him backward.
The Chaos Warriors quickly broke through the first wave of green-skinned enemies.
But the orcs never win with the first wave.
Following closely behind were hundreds and thousands of tanks, trucks, mobile fortresses, killing jars, and orc infantry.
Engines, gunshots, animal roars, and explosions echoed across the wilderness.
Before the Chaos Warbands that had been teleported over could even form a proper team, they were surrounded by the Greenskins from the flanks.
A traitorous lord raised his chainsaw axe and roared as he tried to regroup his troops.
The next second, an orc chariot covered in spikes burst out of the dust, its front end crashing into the Chaos slaves in front of him, crushing the unfortunate creatures into a bloody pulp.
The orc jumped off the vehicle and charged at the power armor, swinging his axe.
"Come on! Black canned food!"
The Chaos Space Marine roared in retaliation.
The bomb shattered the green-skinned man's chest.
The chainsaw sword sliced open the orc's neck.
Plasma melts the murder canister into liquid iron.
But the more they fought, the more excited the green-skinned soldiers became.
A leader of orcs grabbed a Chaos Warrior's helmet with his power claws and slammed him into the car door.
Another Chaos Champion severed the orc leader's arm, but was pounced on from behind by three orcs and dragged into the greenskins.
The teleportation incident on the wasteland quickly escalated into a chaotic battle between orcs and chaos space marines.
Chapter 204 The Secret Within the Sandstorm Vortex
When Abaddon formulated his conquest strategy, he probably considered Imperial artillery fire, low-orbit blockade, fortress-level void shields, Space Marine counterattacks, and Mechanicus node defenses.
He may have considered teleportation interference.
But he could hardly have imagined that someone would precisely direct the teleportation error into the orcs' territory.
The orcs would certainly not refuse this unexpected fight.
Another group of chaotic troops, lured off course by the anchor, landed in the Renku Nest City.
This area was once one of the regions where the commoner prince had infiltrated the most.
The upper and middle nests have been cleared by Lawson multiple times.
Large numbers of civilians were relocated, the contaminated families were dismantled and screened, and the noble tower was adorned with the judgment lock of the Bi'an warband.
The lower nest and the ground nest are still like a deep well.
There are abandoned mine tunnels, sewage layers, old transport pipelines, underground markets, a sanctuary for commoner princes, and a lair for gene stealers.
The main force of the hybrid race was compressed into these areas.
The spiritual network of the revered father, the wriggling dragon, is still breathing deep within.
The Punished Warband and the Midnight Lord were caught in the crossfire.
The Midnight Lord first regained his sight.
They appeared in an old residential area in Renkuxiachao.
The area was packed with people.
They look like ordinary nest dwellers.
They crowded in the narrow corridors and in front of the broken living quarters, as if startled by the sudden appearance of Chaos Space Marines.
The midnight lords laughed.
This place is perfect for them.
Densely populated.
The defensive line is in disarray.
Stay away from the main force of the empire.
A Midnight Lord champion unfurled his hooked chain blade, the sound emanating softly from within his helmet.
"Fear will pave the way for us."
They don't care about transmission deviations.
Even if it doesn't land at the designated command node, as long as there are enough people here, they can push the entire nest to collapse.
They would hang the bodies high up.
They will use screams to control the broadcast system.
They will release a few survivors back into the neighborhood, allowing them to spread fear further into the city.
They could also capture slaves and recruit soldiers.
Select enough cruel and desperate people from the shattered hive to fill the future warband vassal forces.
So they started working.
A midnight lord seized the nearest man who had come down from his nest and nailed him to the wall.
Another person took an old woman's hand and slowly cut off her first finger.
The third person turned on the helmet megaphone, ready to amplify the first wail to the entire block.
But things quickly went wrong.
No one screamed.
The man on the wall just stared at them.
The old woman's face was contorted with pain, but the expected scream of despair did not escape her throat.
One midnight, the lord interrogated more than a dozen people.
