Black lightning bolts crawled out from the void.
Dust swirled outwards from the ground, revealing a ring of charred streaks on the broken stone slab.
A team of black legion terminators were the first to step out of the teleportation beam.
They were clad in black armor, with an eight-pointed star and the eye of the black legion flashing on their breastplates.
Then, an even taller figure emerged from the lightning.
Abaddon arrives.
He was taller than many of the Astartes around him, his heavy body encased in ancient Terminator armor, the black armor etched with scars left by millennia of war.
The Claw of Horus was worn on one arm.
Five sharp blades were spread out, like an iron hand ready to tear apart reality.
In his other hand he held the demon sword Draknien.
Abaddon raised his head, his gaze first landing on Harken's head.
It then fell on Margras.
His expression remained unchanged.
But everyone could feel the suppressed anger.
Rather, it is the cold rage of a warlord who, even after being openly provoked, can still control every inch of his emotions.
Abaddon looked at Calga: "Manus Calga."
His voice, amplified by the armor, was as low as the slow closing of a warship's hatch.
"Hang my messenger on the flagpole."
“Drag my oath-taker to my feet.”
"Then stand here and wait for me to come down."
Horus's Claws opened slightly, their five sharp blades reflecting the firelight of Saint Harbor.
"very good."
"At least this generation of Ultra Warriors hasn't written their entire backbone into the code."
The Imperial Chapter Commanders around him had various expressions.
Calgary stood beneath the flagpole, his blue armor divided into light and shadow by the tower's shadow.
Abaddon continued forward.
"You can't protect the warning star."
"Your fleet will burn up in low Earth orbit."
"Your warband will bleed to death in hive cities, wastelands, and beneath Blackrock."
He raised Horus's Claw and pointed it at Calgar.
"And you, Lord of Macragge."
"I'll die here."
"They will remember that you challenged me on Vigilant Star."
"Then I crushed it."
Calga suddenly let out a cold laugh.
"Abaddon, I do want to fight you."
"But today is not my duel."
Calgary stepped aside half a step.
Below the flagpole, the Imperial Warband Commander's gaze followed his movement and moved to the rear.
Lawson rose from the metal chair, stretched his shoulders, and his knuckles cracked softly beneath the armor plates.
"Abaddon."
"It's really not easy to see you."
"Want to challenge the ultimate God of War? You'll have to get past me first."
Calga: "..."
Abaddon stared at Lawson.
He was seeing that face for the first time.
But he remembered that voice.
This sound can be heard on the full-band radio.
It mocked the Black Legion.
In front of the entire galaxy, his patience, his majesty, and his millennia-long war were all dismantled as a joke.
Abaddon spoke slowly.
"The Dark Side Master".
"Agrippina's warlords."
"Losen".
Lawson smiled.
"You have a good memory."
"I thought you only remembered Horus's bald head."
The surroundings were deathly silent.
Several Imperial chapter commanders twitched their eyelids slightly.
Abaddon's gaze fell on Lawson's hand.
"You're carrying weapon number twelve."
Lawson weighed the battle axe in his hand.
"Ah."
"Spoils of war".
Abaddon gripped Drachner tightly.
Do you know what you are blaspheming?
Lawson looked up.
"The relic of a loser."
The Black Legion Terminator behind Abaddon simultaneously took a half step forward.
The Imperial Chapter Commanders followed suit.
The air suddenly tensed.
Lawson walked forward, carrying his axe.
The rubble on the ground was dragged away by the axe tail, making a screeching sound.
"Abaddon, you've always been good at borrowing names."
"After stripping away all these old things, how much will you have left?"
Abaddon slowly raised Horus's Claw.
"Then let me see."
"Can this new monster, nurtured by the dark side of the empire, withstand my attack?"
Lawson charged forward with his axe.
Abaddon moved at the same time.
The black magic sword and the dark gold battle axe collided beneath the flagpole.
boom!
The shockwave spread outwards, causing the stone slabs on the ground to crack in patches.
The broken flagpole base was shaken open with a ring of cracks, and Harken's head shook violently high up, the nails rubbing against the bones, making a soft cracking sound.
Calgary raised his hand, signaling everyone to step back.
Imperial chapter commanders quickly made way.
Abaddon's guards also spread out.
This is the battlefield between the War General and Lawson.
Draknien caught Angron's Battle Axe, while Horus's Claw ripped towards Lawson's chest from the side.
Lawson swung his axe back, raising the handle to block the claw blades.
A piercing metallic scraping sound exploded.
The five claw-like blades scraped sparks off the axe handle.
Abaddon pressed forward, his shoulder armor slamming into Lawson.
His movements were faster than his physique suggested.
The War General's fighting style is very direct.
Heavy armor provides pressure, dual weapons control the distance, the magic sword cuts through defenses, and Horus's Claw finishes the job.
He doesn't pursue anything fancy; all his actions revolve around one purpose: to drag the enemy into his rhythm and then crush them.
Lawson took a half step back to avoid the shoulder bump.
Abaddon immediately stepped forward.
Drachnien slashed diagonally, the blade carrying the whispers of the warp, as if to cleave space itself apart.
