Warhammer: Empire Reboot

The surface battlefront on Vigilant Star has finally gone from being out of control to being wiped out.
But the planet's most troublesome enemy lies underground.
A commoner prince.
No matter how fierce the orcs are, their leader will still plant the flag at the highest point and roar so that the whole wasteland can hear him.
Gene thieves are different.
They bury themselves in their bloodlines, in marriages, in union ledgers, in chapels, in water purification stations, in corpse disposal teams, and in aristocratic lineages.
Orcs are hammers, and cunning people are mold.
Just smash it with a hammer.
To treat mold, you need to scrape the walls, burn the roots, check the water pipes, and overhaul the foundation.
Inside the wartime command center of Saint Harbor, the underground profile of Vigilant Star unfolds layer by layer.
The red combat markers in the upper hives have decreased.
The insurrection point in the mid-level factory area is being extinguished.
The lower structure, however, was still glowing with a large area of purple light.
Those purple lights, like veins embedded in the bones of the planet, stretched from Renku, Otek, the North Harmony region, the edge of East Tolia, and the south of Motwald, all the way to deeper mines, sewage layers, old magnetic rails, underground reservoirs, abandoned shelters, and pre-colonial cavities.
Lawson stood in front of the tactical map, his fingertip pointing slightly below Ren Kuchao.
A purple main node lit up.
Many small nodes then appeared around it.
Creation Pool, Genetic School, Offspring Race, False Nest, Psionic Stand Node, Hidden Transport Pipeline.
A contaminated old PDF repository.
An underground chapel controlled by a religious sect.
There are also a large number of abandoned but still passable mine tunnels.
The cornerstone sequence has already labeled them to the nineteenth layer.
The reason we didn't take action before was because our revered father, the Worm Dragon, was hiding too well.
It is not an orc warlord who stands on an altar waiting for someone to kill him.
It is the origin of the Vigilant Star Commoner Prince Cult.
The first pure-blooded gene stealers to infiltrate this planet.
For two hundred years, it has used cursed bloodlines to drag generation after generation into the mindset of the colony.
Many people die without ever knowing that they belong to the swarm.
Many people even genuinely believe that they are serving a celestial father who will bring ascension.
This is the most insidious aspect of the Venerable Father Worm Dragon.
Its power lies not only in its claws and psychic abilities.
And that mental network covering the ground beneath the warning star.
As long as the clan leader is alive, the sect can stage synchronized uprisings, issue false orders, organize ambushes, protect water pollution plans, and mobilize offspring to relocate to the creation pool.
Once the clan leader dies, this network will collapse.
But Lawson also knew.
The death of the clan chief does not mean the demise of the commoner prince.
Unlike orcs, who would fight amongst themselves if they lost their leader, cunning individuals don't do that.
After the death of the chieftain, the offspring, Magus, Prems, and pureblood candidates will attempt to rebuild the small nests.
Some will charge forward and become martyrs.
Some would escort genetic samples and sacred objects on their escape.
Some will hide in deeper strata, waiting for the next breeding season.
Therefore, after making this cut, you must immediately hold down the pieces of meat.
The commanders of each battle group have been dispatched to their respective defense zones to finish up.
People are still dying on Vigilant Star every hour. There's no need to call them back to hear an underground purge plan.
This matter falls within the scope of the Lawson system.
Swarm intelligence is responsible for connecting all the lines.
"Close the net."
Commands are disseminated through swarm consciousness.
All the hives on the Vigilant Star went underground and began their operations simultaneously.
……
Renkuchaodu, the lower sewage area.
A Magus is kneeling before a pool of purple blood.
It had a bony crown-like protrusion on its head and was praying softly.
It can sense changes in the earth's surface.
Chaos is in ruins, and the green-skinned are in disarray.
The empire regained control of the game.
But the commoner prince has been breeding on this planet for two hundred years.
They have enough nests.
Sufficient health bars.
Plenty of hiding places.
As long as our revered father, the Dragon, remains, the day of ascension will come again.
It pressed its hand into the pool of blood, attempting to send a signal to the main hive via the psionic network.
The next moment, its fingers froze.
The response from the blood pool had changed.
It was a string of cold, hard, disguised signals.
Magus suddenly looked up.
In the ventilation vent next to the blood pool, a miniature probe silently lit up.
Immediately afterwards, all pressure valves in the entire sewage discharge area were shut off simultaneously.
The gates around the perimeter fell down.
A dozen or so combatants emerged from the shadows.
Magus let out a shriek, attempting to summon the mixed-bloods around him.
Half a second after the shriek was heard, three psionic assassins simultaneously suppressed it.
Endogenous psionic energy is like cold water poured into a flame, compressing its psionic circuits.
Combat sequence, fire.
The bomb shattered the mixed-race creatures that rushed out from the surrounding area into pieces.
A combat unit charged toward Magus.
The power axe severed its arms and cleaved its chest cavity.
As Magus fell, he tried to send his last spiritual signal back to the main hive.
Swarm intelligence did not prevent it.
Instead, it was sent out.
The signal was simply crammed with incorrect location information and fabricated panic.
Similar events occurred simultaneously in hundreds of locations beneath the planet Vigilance.
The nest was sealed.
The creation pool was burned.
The polluted union hall was surrounded by the Bixie warband.
The old PDF officer was identified on the spot by the gene sniffing node and dragged away from the command seat.
As soon as the "maintenance team" in the water purification station opened the underground secret door, they found thirty key members of the Foundation Sequence and two T-series hacking units standing behind it.
All the old communication channels are still ringing.
In reality, every signal is recorded, analyzed, located, and fed back by the bee colony.
Lawson wasn't in a hurry to go directly to his father, the Worm Dragon.
He cut off its hand first.
Then pluck out its eyes.
Then block its escape route.
Even the deepest part of the withered nest.
Inside an underground cavern known as the "Hall of Mother Bones," the revered Father Wolverine finally opened his eyes.
It lay beside a huge pool of creation.
Its body is much larger than that of a typical pure-blooded gene stealer.
Its back is covered with a thick carapace, its four arms are crossed, and its head crown extends backward like a crown made of bone spurs and chitin.
It has lived for a very long time.
So long ago, the rise and fall of many families on this planet were all arranged within its bloodline.
