It seems the chieftain was prepared before setting off: today, he might have to kill his own rider with his own hands.

In the ninth hour, the first outer kinetic ring of Saim-Han was forced to contract.

The wreckage of the Chaos Guardian littered the void, several cruisers lost power, and more boarding craft were shot down by Eldar riders. Yet the Ominous Ark continued to close in.

Those behemoths don't care how many of their subsidiary ships die.

As the defense network retreats one layer, the defenses advance one layer.

Lysani's motorcycle was covered in burn marks, her left arm was cut by shards, and the blood was automatically absorbed by the suit.

She had already fired two sets of missiles, the Star Dart Cannon was overheating continuously, and a piece of the spirit bone shell of the right stabilizing wing was sheared off.

Sarn is dead too.

One shell, one explosion, and a person is gone.

Lysani rushed over and snatched back his Soul Stone.

The soul stone, still warm, was fixed in the storage slot on the left side of her phone.

Ilanser's voice rang out in the main channel.

"Announcement to all riders on the perimeter: immediately abandon the outer ring and prepare to return to defend."

Horace immediately retorted, "Are you crazy? If we retreat now, the third defensive breach will be torn apart by Chaos!"

"To fill that gap, are you going to have the Slaanesh flagship stop on our soul stone recycling route?"

"Withdraw!"

Lysani saw in her tactical field of vision that the third defensive gap was widening.

The area was originally the responsibility of two light patrol squadrons and four clan rider squadrons to intercept them.

After the Slaanesh fleet deployed jamming in that area, Eldar pilots began to experience sluggish maneuvers.

The Chaos Fleet immediately seized the opportunity and simultaneously turned the landing array of six Ominous Arks toward the third breach.

It was a whole expanse of black meteorite rain.

Hundreds of Chaos Landing Pods were ejected from the belly of the Ominous Ark, trailing purplish-black flames, passing through the wreckage of the escort ship and the cloud of gunfire, and hurtling toward Saim-Han's outer spirit shell.

Horace's voice rang out again.

"The third gap, we'll stop it with our lives."

Leisani stopped the motorcycle.

She had only seven Crimson Moon riders left by her side.

Further away, the remaining riders of the Windspear and Whitemane clans were also turning.

Saim-Han's outer interception line began to reorganize, with jet motorcycles, void riders, and light fighters from different clans swarming towards the landing craft from all angles.

"For the Crimson Moon."

"For Saim Han."

Windspear clan riders cut in from the other side, destroying seven landing pods in succession.

A squadron of light fighters from the Whitemane Clan released missiles, blasting an entire row of slave landing pods to pieces.

But there are too many enemies.

The Dark Mechanicus had clearly calculated the limits of their interception firepower.

The landing modules descended simultaneously at more than a dozen angles, with each group separated by a distance just enough to draw Eldar fire.

The demon engine deliberately rammed into the Eldar motorcycle, using the explosion to clear a path for the landing pod.

The Chaos Frigate, braving the Eldar light cruiser's artillery fire, forcefully unleashed a barrage of suppressive fire towards the breach.

A Wind Spear rider was struck by the Demon Engine and blown to pieces along with his vehicle.

Two white-maned riders attempted to intercept a Dark Mechanicus landing pod, but were swept away by Chaos Cannons from behind. Soulstones flew out of the wreckage and were then desperately dragged away by a rescue drone.

Lysani had just destroyed a demon engine when a warning came from her right.

The Slaanesh warships directed their interference toward the third breach.

The Soul Stone on her chest tightened.

Saen's soulstone also emitted a low hum in the storage slot.

Then she saw Saen.

He stood in front of the Crimson Moon Clan Hall, without a helmet, his forehead sweaty from training, and his mouth turned to the left when he smiled.

"Lesani...stop, you're too tired."

Lysani knew that it wasn't Saen.

Because Saen won't let her stop.

Saen would say, "Keep up."

The Storm Serpent Jet Motorbike accelerated suddenly, almost skimming over the afterglow of a massive cannon explosion.

The interception line has done its best.

Crimson Moon, Wind Spear, White Mane, Gray Feather—all the clan riders who could reach the destination were burning their last bit of speed.

But the black meteor shower did not stop.

The chaotic landing capsule crashed into a 3,600-kilometer-long exile world.

The first batch of Chaos Warriors burst out of the landing pod.

The young riders inside the parking loop didn't have time to completely evacuate.

A young Eldar girl, who had just returned from the outer battle, was struck in the chest by a bomb before she could even remove her helmet.

As she fell, the Soul Stone popped out of her breastplate and hit the ground with a crisp sound.

Lesani's motorcycle swept past her.

She had no time to be sad.

Storm Serpent's Star Dart Cannon was back online. She made a sharp turn, skimming along the inner wall of the mooring ring, and a hail of bullets swept across the ranks of war slaves in front of her.

Eldar crystal shrapnel pierced through flesh and crude armor, cutting dozens of cultists to pieces.

A demonic engine raised its head, and a beam of molten heat from its mouth swept towards her.

Lysani lowered the front of the car and crawled under a parked voidship.

The molten beam burned through the side of the voidship, causing a secondary explosion. Taking advantage of the explosion obscuring her vision, she cut out from the other side and fired the last remaining molten bomb into the belly of the demon engine.

The explosion overturned the monster.

Even after it fell to the ground, it continued to crawl, its four mechanical legs scratching at the ground.

Several Red Moon Clan foot warriors rushed forward, finishing off the enemies with Star Dart Rifles and Power Spears.

"The third mooring ring, breach number one, is still expanding!"

"A heat source has appeared at Breach No. 2!"

"The Ninth Rider's Depot has been struck by the landing craft!"

"The Ghost Guard is heading to the Ancestral Corridor!"

Alarms kept popping up on the communication channel.

Lysani heard Chief Horus's voice.

"All those capable of fighting, assemble nearby according to your clan number. Do not wait for a unified order. Upon discovering Chaos, immediately push back the breach."

The clan system of Saim-Han demonstrated its power at this moment.

Twelve high-ranking clans participated in the war simultaneously.

Crimson Moon, Wind Spear, White Mane, Sun Cleavage, Gray Feather, Blood Ring, Morning Blade, Long Flame, Deer Antler, Night Tide, Shattered Star, Frost Skull.

Their flags were raised throughout the ark.

The mid-ranking clan opens its arsenal, unleashing jet motorcycles, infantry fighting armor, and clan guards.

The lower-ranking clans also took up arms.

The craftsman took out the star-shaped dart gun.

The gardener pulled out a knife that had been hidden for hundreds of years from the ecological dome.

The children were taken to the burial hall, while the elders stood guard in front of the ancestral spirit hall, handing the young people spare soul stones and their final blessings.

The Saim-Han people number over a billion.

They were not the mortals numbed by oppression in the imperial hive.

Every Eldar has walked the path of a warrior, or at least received sufficient weapons training. When the war alarm sounded, the entire Ark did not transform into a city awaiting salvation, but rather into a massive lair of armed clans.

But there are too many enemies.

The two lower clan dwelling domes.

A transfer station leading to the outer Soul Stone recycling channel.

Chaos did not attempt to penetrate the core directly in one go.

They spread like a plague, creating breaches, drawing defensive forces, and dragging Saim-Han's clan armies into localized bloody battles.

Meanwhile, the void battle outside continues.

Six ominous arks are still closing in.

The Saim-Han outer fleet has already contracted for two rounds.

Eldar light cruisers and Phantom Frigates crisscrossed the area, destroying one Chaos warship after another. But the Chaos compensated for their losses with sheer numbers, propelling themselves with the heavy hull of the Omen Ark and disrupting the Eldar pilots and prophets with the blasphemous songs of the Slaanesh fleet.

As Lysani rushed into the main passage of the third parking ring, she saw the first squad of ghost guards arrive.

Those skeletal constructs, driven by the souls of the dead Spirit Race, emerged from the Ancestral Spirit Corridor. They were tall and moved with composure, their Netherworld Cannons emitting a low glow.

They are the dead of Saim-Han.

It is also part of the last line of defense.
