"Should we throw away those Dark Eldar?"
She seemed to be asking whether the leftovers should be thrown away.
"That's a bit wasteful. Can I have some?"
The faces of the Spirit Clan patriarchs present twitched simultaneously.
They almost forgot that a Slaanesh demon was crouching beside them.
Throughout their discussions about the fate of their community, the handover of core technologies, and the planning of their relocation, Sarasien Qianxian quietly squatted in a corner.
She was so quiet that you'd think she was a pet.
But she is Slaanesh.
She eats souls.
The souls of the Dark Eldar are also souls to the Slaanesh. Although their taste may not be as refined as that of the Ark Eldar, the Dark Eldar have been immersed in the hedonistic culture of the Comoros for many years, and their souls have accumulated a lot of remnants of extreme sensory experiences, which have a unique flavor to the Slaanesh.
Lawson glanced at her.
"Eat black bean sprouts as much as you like, but don't touch the Eldar on the Ark."
Sarasien's eyes lit up.
"Thank you, Master."
Her figure darted out of the Starfire Royal Court like a wisp of purple smoke.
The speed was so fast that the few Elven warriors present did not even have time to react. They only saw a purple shadow flash across the Spirit Bone Corridor Bridge and disappear towards the battlefield.
Horace said in a low voice, "This thing's speed..."
If Qianxian had intended to attack anyone in the Starfire Royal Court, the Elven warriors present probably wouldn't have had time to react.
She just went to eat black bean sprouts.
Because Lawson gave permission.
The collar's power, or rather, Lawson's power, was indeed restraining her.
This realization added another layer of complex feelings to the clan leaders' hearts.
The world is truly amazing.
The clearing operation continues. One by one, the red markers on the star map go out.
Salosin watched as the battlefield gradually calmed down and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Lord of the Seal."
"The mastermind behind this siege of Saim-Han was Vashtor. You destroyed four of its six Omen Arks and two escaped, but Vashtor himself did not appear on the battlefield."
"It won't let this go easily; next time, it might take action itself."
"A demigod-level being, Lord Palm, we were able to hold out this time because of your presence. But what if Vashtor returns with more Ark of Omens, more Chaos Legions, or even the remnants of Abaddon's Black Legion..."
Lawson waved his hand.
"Let him come. If he doesn't come..."
A slight smile played on his lips: "I'll go find him too."

Chapter 224 The Slaanesh faction is full of perverts; the break between the four great races.
Subspace, the forge of calamity.
At this moment, the firelight in the furnace was a little dimmer than usual.
The star map was projected onto the platform.
The final battle damage report of the Saim-Khan battle was displayed before Vashtor.
Of the six ominous arks, four were destroyed, and two escaped with severe damage.
More than 170 Chaos warships were lost, and all of the Dark Mechanicus' tracking furnaces were destroyed.
Ground forces, Chaos Space Marines, War Slaves, and Demon Engines have a recovery rate of less than eight percent.
Vashtor remained motionless for a long time.
Four ominous Arks!!!
Each one is a super battleship that it has spent years modifying, consuming a large number of demonic engines and dark age materials.
Shipwrecks are everywhere in the galaxy, but the core components needed to transform these wrecks into the Ominous Ark—ferrymen, imprisonment altars, and warp navigation matrices—are all scarce resources that cannot be mass-produced.
Four ships were lost at once.
"Feeling sorry for him?"
Abaddon leaned against a pillar made of a demon's spine, his arms crossed.
His new arms gleamed unnaturally in the dark red glow of the forge.
Huron Blackheart stood beside him, a hint of undisguised schadenfreude playing on his lips.
"Four arks and more than 170 warships."
Huron counted on his fingers: "And that contract you signed with Slaanesh, since Qianxian has been captured, the contract is automatically void, right?"
Abaddon continued, "You wouldn't let me participate in Saim-Han's operations back then, saying that six Ark fleets were enough, and you even went to Qianxian yourself to sign a side agreement."
He looked at Vashtor: "And what happened? Four Arks were lost, and the Slaanesh were collared and kept as pets by humans."
Vashtor's mechanical face turned toward him.
The flames inside the furnace danced between its gears, like a machine digesting anger.
"Do you think the outcome would have been better if you had gone instead?"
Abaddon did not answer immediately.
“Losen has intervened.”
Vashtor looked at Abaddon: "Tell me, if you were commanding from the outskirts of Saim-Han, facing an armed moon hurtling towards you at sub-light speed, what would you do? Ram it with the Soul of Vengeance? Oh right, you don't have the Soul of Vengeance anymore."
Abaddon's expression darkened.
Because the answer was clear, he had no other choice.
A 1,200-kilometer-diameter, light-speed, several-kilometer-thick layer of refined gold armor.
Countering this level of celestial weapon with a conventional fleet is like trying to smash a mountain with stones.
Even if he still has the Soul of Vengeance, he's just a slightly larger pebble in the face of the Battle Moon.
Vashtor looked away from Abaddon.
"The problem is always the same."
Its mechanical fingers traced a line across the star map: "If Lawson intervenes, the situation will spiral out of control. His combat power is growing faster than any of my models predicted. A year ago, he was fighting a defensive war with mortal armies in Agrippina, and now he has planetary weapons capable of crushing the Ark of Doom."
Huron's schadenfreude subsided considerably.
"Conservatively speaking, he has at least two key fragments. If you don't get the fragments back, your key won't be able to be fused."
Vashtor swung his mechanical arm.
"The importance of the fragments is not equal."
It retrieves a three-dimensional model on the star map, which is the original structure of the key that it reverse-engineers from the collected fragments.
The model is an irregular polyhedron with grooves and interfaces all over its surface, with each fragment corresponding to a specific location.
"A key breaks into many pieces. Some are in the core load-bearing positions, and without them, the key cannot function. Some are on the edges, which can be replaced with alternative materials later. The efficiency will decrease, but the function will not be affected."
Vashtor pointed to the positions of the two fragments in Lawson's hand on the model with his finger.
"Both of these pieces are on the edge. It would be a shame to lose them, but we can go around them."
Its finger moved to the center of the model and lit up a spot where the groove was the deepest and the interfaces were the most dense, where all the load-bearing lines of the key structure converged.
"This part is the core; without it, the key is just a pile of scrap metal."
Abaddon looked at that spot.
"where is it?"
"The Monastery of the Great Stone".
The Monastery of the Giant Stone, a mobile fortress of the Dark Angels Chapter.
A planetary-sized space fortress has been moving through the Milky Way for tens of thousands of years, almost never staying in the same place for more than a few months.
Its exact coordinates are one of the Empire's top secrets; even most of the Empire's high command do not know where it is.
"Did the Dark Angel hide that fragment in the Stone Monastery?" Huron asked.
"They probably don't even know what it is."
"The history of the Great Stone Monastery dates back to the Great Crusade, and its deep interior contains a wealth of artifacts from the Golden Age and the Great Crusade," Vastor said. "That fragment was most likely stored in the deep interior in the form of some ancient seal, and has never been opened."
It puts away the model.
"The location of the Stone Monastery will take time to pinpoint. But this fragment..."
"We absolutely cannot let Lawson take it again. This time, we must complete the operation before he discovers the target."
Abaddon was silent for a few seconds, then spoke.
"We can't let Lawson get away with this."
After losing the Soul of Vengeance and two legendary weapons, Abaddon's strategic thinking actually became sharper.
"He now controls two Slaanesh archdemons. Ash Velos and Salathien Thousand Strings."
Abaddon looked at Vashtor: "Go talk to their master. The Thirsty Lady can't possibly be indifferent to her great demon being enslaved by humans. Let it attack Lawson; at least it will distract him and buy us time to find the Great Stone Monastery."
Vashtor considered for three seconds.
Abaddon's suggestion makes sense.
The fact that a high-ranking demon in Slaanesh's camp was collared and kept as a pet by humans would be a blow to Slaanesh's reputation if word got out.
