They are all wrong.
The root of the problem lies not in how to deal with the pregnant woman, but in the fact that the pollution of the Bone Soul Realm cannot be cleansed.
Finally, after they had finished arguing, Karaden spoke up.
"Gentlemen."
The council chamber fell silent.
"Our warlock array can only maintain the status quo. We ourselves do not have the ability to purify this level of chaos contamination."
"But some people do."
All eyes in the council chamber instantly turned to Karaden.
"Losen, the ruler of the dark side of the empire."
The chief of the Soul Guardians, Alshine, was the first to utter the name.
"The Holy Blood Angel Gene Seed Bank was purified by him using golden fire."
"That's a genetic seed."
The military commander was skeptical.
"The structure of the spirit bone is completely different from that of the Astartes gene seed... The materials are different, the psionic architecture is different, and the mechanism of contamination penetration is also different. We have no evidence that his golden fire is equally effective in purifying the spirit bone."
"There is no evidence that it is effective, but there is also no evidence that it is ineffective."
Karaden said, "And our current alternative is zero."
"What is the price for seeking help from Lawson?" a high-ranking prophet asked.
"First, we need to confirm whether he can do it."
Karaden said, “If he can’t do it, the question of the trade doesn’t exist; if he can do it, no matter how high the price he asks for, it’s cheaper than genocide.”
This statement ended the discussion; Karaden was right.
"A decision regarding the pregnant woman's treatment will be postponed."
Karaden stood up and issued his orders as the Great Prophet: "Until the results of my meeting with the Marksman are available, implement the following temporary measures: First, issue an emergency birth ban across the entire Ark, prohibiting any new pregnancies from this day forward. Second, conduct a comprehensive soul screening of the existing 117 million pregnant women, classifying them into three levels according to their degree of contamination… Those confirmed to be contaminated will be immediately isolated and assessed for termination; those suspected of contamination will be isolated for observation; and those not yet detected will be concentrated in the vicinity of the Bone Soul Realm's core. Third, the Warlock Array will maintain the uninterrupted purification of the Bone Soul Realm."
She took one last look at the Bone Soul Realm status diagram on the desktop.
"I'm going to find Lawson."
In addition, Karaden did two things before leaving the Usvi Ark.
First, she used her prophetic vision to repeatedly examine all possible outcomes of the upcoming meeting. The trend she saw was not optimistic; Lawson was not someone who was easily persuaded.
His decision-making logic is extremely clear: it involves the exchange of interests, either equal or at a premium.
If Usvi can't offer enough incentives, he has no reason to help.
Morality and compassion hold no weight in this person's decision-making framework.
The second thing she did was retrieve a piece of data from the Ark's core technology library and store it in the spirit bone storage crystal she carried with her.
This is a gift for Lawson.
Karaden stared at the crystal for a long time before boarding the shuttle.
Then she put it into the inner pocket of her chest, next to the Soul Stone.
Karaden’s first stop was Evelyn.
Karaden had already figured out the path while on the Usvi Ark.
There was a huge communication barrier between her and Lawson.
Er Gou's attitude during the Usvi Ark rescue has said it all.
Lawson's deployment of troops was not for Usvi's sake, but out of consideration for Everene.
This shows that Evelyn plays a significant role in the Lawson system.
If she goes through Evelyn as an intermediary, the nature of the request changes; it is no longer a stranger asking for help, but "someone approved by Lawson comes with her friend to discuss matters."
Karaden's political acumen was no less than her psychic talent.
Evelynn's residence on Vigilant Star is a converted Eldar-style dwelling located in the middle level of Saint Harbor.
Karaden did not exchange pleasantries with Evelynn after meeting her.
She spent about ten minutes laying out all the current predicaments of the Usvi Ark to Evelyn.
Evelyn immediately realized the seriousness of the situation.
The Usvi Ark has actually reached the point of annihilation.
"You came to me because you want me to introduce you to Lawson."
"If I go to him directly, I probably won't even get through the door, but if you're willing to act as an intermediary..."
“I am willing.” Evelynne grasped the prophet’s hand. “But I have no power to influence Lawson’s opinion. Here, I am merely a guest.”
Karaden never expected a guarantee.
Evelyn said, "To increase your chances of success, you must go to him with sufficient sincerity and value, otherwise..."
"I brought it."
Karaden took the spirit bone storage crystal from his inner chest pocket.
"This is my sincerity."
Evelyn used her psionic powers to scan the data index in the internal storage, and she was somewhat shocked.
"The complete process for the anti-gravity weapon platform in Usvi?"
"That's right, the complete, uncut technology."
Karaden continued, "It's all in there, from the core algorithm of the bone gravity wire weaver to the molecular structural blueprint of the levitation chassis."
Evelyn looked up at Karaden.
She understands the significance of this technology.
Guilliman has said several times that he is envious of this technology.
The Eldar's antigravity system and the human empire's antigravity technology are fundamentally different in their underlying principles.
The Empire’s antigravity core is essentially a violent energy machine.
It consumes a huge amount of plasma energy and releases a high-intensity repulsive force field towards the ground, forcefully "pushing" the vehicle off the ground.
This method is brutal and effective, but it consumes a lot of energy, is extremely noisy, and the airflow below is enough to overturn a civilian transport vehicle. Moreover, it is poorly adaptable to complex terrain.
The Eldar's antigravity is completely different; they use a different technology.
The Eldar's hover engines do not generate any downward thrust. Instead, they resonate directly with the planet's gravitational lines and magnetic field through extremely precise Eldar resonators, rewriting the gravitational topology of a small area around the vehicle.
Overall, Eldar weapon platforms and vehicles are not "pushed" up, but rather "glide" on a gravitational field, much like surfers gliding on waves, relying on the power of the waves themselves rather than a jet engine strapped to their feet.
The effect brought about by this technology is qualitatively different.
Its energy consumption is only a fraction of that of the Imperial Repulsion Plate, and its maintenance costs are negligible.
The great prophet observed very clearly that Lawson now needs this technology.
If applied to Lawson's heavy industrial system, it wouldn't just be Flying Bear motorcycles, but also Hurricane light motorcycles, Cornerstone combat suits, and even large weapon platforms and transport vehicles...
The resulting upgrades will be systemic.
Karaden carefully put the crystal away again.
"Let's go, take me to see the one who holds the seal."
Ilancia arranged the meeting.
The location is the Lawson Temporary Command Room on the middle floor of Saint Harbor, Vigilant Star.
Lawson had just returned from the Seventh Blackrock Fortress and still had a lot of follow-up deployments to deal with, so he gave this meeting half an hour.
Half an hour is a considerable amount of time for someone who manages nearly 80,000 planets.
Evelyn's face.
When Karaden entered the command room, Lawson was sitting behind a metal table looking at a data panel.
Yilancia stood to his right, while Er Gou and San Gou stood to his left.
Karadon performed a full Eldar ceremony.
In the Eldar's ritual system, the Prophet only performs this ritual for Starfire King of the Ark and for the deceased great ancestors.
"Your Excellency, the Master of the Seal."
"Great Prophet Karaden of the Ark of Usvi pays the deepest respect and gratitude to the Seal Bearer of Usvi."
"Great Prophet, you needn't be so polite."
Lawson waved his hand: "I took Usvi into the Agrippina Sector for rest and recuperation because of Evrene's influence. You don't need to thank me; thank her instead."
Karaden appeared quite nonchalant about it.
“The Marksman is right. Usvi will always remember the face given to Emissary Everene, but Lord Lawson’s act of taking Usvi in has gone beyond the scope of face. Three hundred million Eldar have been able to rest and recuperate safely in your sector, and the Ark has had the time and space to repair itself. Usvi must repay this favor.”
She took out the spirit bone storage crystal, held it in both hands, and placed it on the table in front of Lawson.
"This is the complete process of the anti-gravity heavy weapon platform from the core technology library of Usvi Ark, from the core algorithm of the spirit bone gravity line weaver to the molecular structure blueprint of the suspension chassis, the complete version."
Lawson picked up the crystal and twirled it between his fingers: "The Eldar's anti-gravity system?"
Karaden picked up the conversation.
"During the battle in which General Er Gou led his troops to support Usvi, I personally witnessed the Flying Bear Motorcycle squadron's combat methods. Their combat power was beyond doubt, but the Flying Bear Motorcycles used the Imperial standard repulsion plate levitation system... If it were replaced with the Eldar's gravity line weaving system..."
"Energy consumption has been reduced by dozens of times, and suspension stability and terrain adaptability have been comprehensively upgraded."
Lawson placed the crystal back on the table: "Great Prophet, besides expressing your gratitude, is there anything else you wish to discuss with me this time?"
This item would have been of great help to Lawson before.
But now that he has UR-025, this technology is no longer a lifeline, but rather an added bonus.
Karadon's Eye of the Prophet flashed.
