The Lion King turned the sword hilt, and the blade twisted horizontally.

The Overlord-level executioner's chest cavity split open from the inside, and the massive corpse fell backward, blocking the swarm of insects behind it.

The lion king continued forward, stepping over the corpses.

The second executioner had just raised the corrosive cannon when the Emperor's Shield flew out of his grasp.

The golden shield spun and smashed through the bio-cannon, slamming half of the behemoth's head into the inner wall, before veering back through the narrow passage.

The Lion King caught the shield.

The Sword of Loyalty followed closely, severing the executioner's two forelimbs in one strike.

Wolverine had already charged up from behind.

The repulsive field shield slammed into the behemoth's chest, the plasma blade pierced along the wound left by the Lion King, and the heavy railgun fired close to the nerve core.

Pass!

The executioner's upper body exploded.

Lion King's method of advancement is completely different from Guilliman's.

He would suddenly change direction, cutting into the thickest part of the Zerg defenses, and then abruptly turn back before the mothership could mobilize more units to surround him.

The mothership underwent repeated internal structural modifications.

The passage closes, gravity flips it over, and the high-temperature digestive fluid sprays out from the cavity wall.

The Lion King, however, always stayed ahead of the swarm's transformation.

He seemed to be able to sense the fear emanating from the mothership beforehand.

The fact that a muscle contracts too quickly, that a synaptic oscillation suddenly intensifies, or that a channel is deliberately left empty can reveal the direction the swarm truly wants to protect.

Dante quickly understood his tactics.

The Lion King is forcing the mothership to continuously protect the Norn Queen.

The more the swarm fears a particular path, the closer that path will be to its target.

The passage ahead suddenly bends upwards.

The originally horizontally extending fleshy corridor has been transformed into a vertical, deep well of flesh and blood, with walls covered with pulsating blood vessels and enormous hatching sacs.

Thousands upon thousands of winged insects swooped down from above the deep well, the sound of their wings rubbing together like a storm.

Dante raised his axe and roared, "Leave the sky to us, brothers, charge with me!"

The Holy Blood Guard's jump packs ignited simultaneously.

boom!

Hundreds of golden figures rushed upwards against the swarm of insects.

An aerial battle suddenly broke out inside the deep well.

The flashes of explosives continued from high above, while the winged insect corpses and broken wings fell downwards.

The Blood Angel swiftly changed direction in the confined space, passing between blood vessels and cleaving through the Zerg array with its power axe.

Dante was at the very front.

The death mask was stained black with insect blood, and the jumping backpack dragged out a long trail of flames.

He dodged a winged beast's bone spikes, the axe blade slicing into its neck, the entire behemoth spinning as it plummeted downwards.

More winged insects crawled out of the hatching sac.

Dante viewed this boarding action as a continuation of the defense of Baal.

Every Zergling before them came from the will of that which once attempted to devour the mother planet of the Holy Blood Angels.

Now it can be considered the Blood Angels' war of revenge!

A giant flying synaptic beast spread its wing membranes and blocked the entire upper part of the deep well.

A psionic shriek erupted from its head.

The Holy Blood Guard's flight posture suddenly became chaotic, and several veterans crashed into the cavity wall.

Dante was the first to be hit, his helmet alarm instantly blaring, his vision filled with large patches of bloody noise.

A golden object flew down from below.

The Emperor's Shield struck the flying synapse beast squarely on the head.

The shriek stopped.

Dante seized the opportunity, leaping with his backpack at full power, and charged into the dent created by the shield.

The power axe cleaved into the synaptic beast's lower jaw, moving upwards along the middle of its skull, blasting apart its brain tissue and carapace from both sides.

The lion king charged up the well wall.

The mothership's gravity continued to change, but the Lion King's movements did not stop at all.

He leaped from one shrinking fleshy wall to another bone plate, his sword of loyalty slicing through the winged insects that lunged at him.

The Emperor's Shield fell from above.

The Lion King reached out and caught it.

The two legion leaders met at the top of the well.

The view ahead suddenly opened up.

A massive incubation hall appeared before them.

Hundreds of transparent sacs hung below the dome, inside which nascent, heavy insectoids huddled.

Bubbling blood rose continuously from the ground, revealing spikes protruding from the water.

Dozens of Zerg heavy guards rose from the bottom of the pool.

These behemoths are slightly smaller than the Titans on the ground, but are better suited for combat inside the mothership.

They possess robust forelimbs, thick carapaces, and mouthparts capable of spewing bio-plasma at close range, clearly indicating that they were temporarily accelerated guardian units created by the Norn queen.

The Zerg surged forth from the dome, the pool of blood, and the hatching sac.

Dante looked at the Lion King: "Another trap? Did we take the wrong path?"

The Lion King charged out: "No traps! The Seal Bearer is waiting. We can't lose to the Thirteenth Prince. Charge!"

…………

Guilliman has lost count of how many nerve bundles he has severed.

The closer you get to the core of the mothership, the more blurred the boundaries of the passage become.

One moment the cavity could accommodate a saber-toothed tiger passing side by side, the next it contracted into a fleshy slit filled with fangs in violent spasms.

The seemingly solid chitinous deck beneath your feet can suddenly soften, dragging the heavy mech into the churning digestive fluid.

The entire biological ship was attacking them.

Thousands of bone spikes shot down from the dome simultaneously, striking Wolverine's repulsive field shield and creating a dense, resounding boom.

Several machines were forced to kneel by the impact. Just as the anti-gravity fine-tuning ring stabilized the center of gravity, the flesh beneath their feet suddenly flipped over, revealing a giant ring-shaped maw that spanned the entire passage.

The gaping mouth closed.

Click!

The two Wolverines that couldn't escape in time were caught in the jaws of interlocking bone teeth.

Under the terrifying pressure, the armor caved inward, and the heavy railguns on the shoulders turned their muzzles and fired continuously along the inner wall of the giant mouth.

Pass! Pass! Pass!

Flesh and blood exploded, bones and teeth broke.

Wolverine crashed in from behind, using his repulsion shield to forcefully open the giant maw and drag the damaged machine out from inside.

They cut off the scrapped weapon components and continued forward with the team.

The swarms of insects came from every direction, and there was no longer a clear front.

Gene thieves lurk between the nerve cords, samurai worms float in the blood pool, and dome-shaped hatching sacs break open one after another, smashing the slimy executioners directly into the Ultramarines' ranks.

Smaller parasites, like a black mist, attach themselves to the power armor, searching for breathing filters and joint gaps.

The Ultramarines' formation had been compressed behind Guilliman.

The Terminator armor was covered in dents from acid burning, and the Victory Honor Guard's shields were also riddled with cracks.

They couldn't be sure how far they had gone, or even whether the direction they were heading was still there.

Only the increasingly heavy will ahead proved that they were getting closer to their goal.

That spiritual force pressed down on everyone's consciousness like an invisible planet.

Thousands upon thousands of Zerg consciousnesses converged here, and from here spread throughout the main tentacle.

Guilliman could sense that it was watching him.

The flesh and blood channels in front suddenly expanded.

A dark red space appeared before them.

It was a spherical chamber that was larger than the ship's internal dimensions.

There is no real ground visible above, below, left, or right. Hundreds of thick bone beams, as thick as city walls, run through it, supporting the chamber as a living cathedral.

A translucent membrane sac hangs in the depths of darkness, inside which floats a gigantic creature yet to take shape.

Numerous glowing nerve cords connected the central area, and pulses flowed along the nerves, each flash illuminating the entire space with a ghastly white light.

Thick biomass flows along the inner side of the trabeculae.

Rumble...

Guilliman knew they had come to the right place.

The mothership no longer tried to conceal its route; it focused all its power on this.

The swarm of insects covered the entire chamber.
