"The commander has ordered all troops to stand by at the coordinates and await orders."
The Blood God's Son tore it open from bottom to top.
The Terminator, along with its heavy terracotta armor, was cleaved in two from hip to shoulder.
Blood and entrails were splattered all over the ground, and the berserkers behind Kahn erupted in cheers.
He didn't look back and rushed forward.
Perturabo's plan, Abaddon's glory, the will of the gods—all of that is bullshit in the face of the thrill of killing.
A team of steel warriors swiftly moved to the key geometric passage and formed a shield wall.
"Traitors, halt! The Lord of Steel orders all assault forces to wait another six minutes!"
Kahn only saw the metal cans blocking his way.
"Then you wait a little longer for him."
With a flash of the axe, the head of the Iron Warrior Centurion, along with his helmet, flew off.
Kahn crashed into the shield wall, and the berserkers surged in after him.
This disciplined steel construct was submerged in a dozen seconds.
Kahn had absolutely no pattern.
One second he was fighting against the Xiongwei defense line, the next second he might turn around and chop down his own men with an axe because a berserker was blocking his way.
He might suddenly abandon the enemy in front of him and smash through a non-load-bearing bulkhead with his shoulder, simply because the gunfire behind the wall is louder.
Ironically, this madman who ignored all plans became the one who broke into the deepest part of the fortress.
The consequences followed.
When Kahn crashed through a bulkhead filled with energy conduits, the Blood God's destructive power tore apart the equipment behind the wall.
That was one of the space stabilizers that the Steel Warriors engineering team installed on the inner wall of the gap.
Peturabo used them to maintain the laws of reality within the gap. He set up six in total, but now only five remain.
On the command platform of the Ironblood, an alarm suddenly sounded.
Peturabo stared at the crack on the light screen that was rapidly decaying and on the verge of collapse.
His siege plan was first disrupted by a narcissistic peacock, and now his instruments have been smashed by a mad dog that broke free of its chains.
The engineering team has not yet set out to anchor the piles.
"Lock that mad dog up!"
The Lord of Steel raised his voice for the second time in ten thousand years.
Abaddon's gloating voice came through the communications channel.
"Then go tie it up."
As if in response to them, Kahn's voice also broke through the chaotic battlefield communications:
"Anyone who calls me a dog again, I'll chop them up first!"
…………
The dark side of the Empire: the First Cloning Research Institute.
At the deepest part of the research institute is an experimental hall that is over three kilometers long.
The eighteen incubation chambers stood side by side like silent giants.
In the pale golden culture medium, eighteen male bodies floated, their mere presence radiating an oppressive aura that sent shivers down the spine of the space.
This is the original body that has been completely reconstructed, all defects eliminated, and further strengthened on the original basis.
Lawson stood in front of the eighteen incubation chambers, with the goddess of life, Isa, standing beside him.
Emerald green divine light flowed continuously from her fingertips into the life circulation system at the center of the research institute, injecting the final life law into these god-slaying bodies that were about to awaken.
She has been maintaining her life force output for thirty-seven consecutive hours.
Fabius Bayer did indeed possess the technology to create Primarch clones, but his mortal wisdom was never able to solve several fundamental problems.
A mortal soul cannot control the original's body, and the original's powerful soul would never condescend to enter a replica.
These problems have now all been resolved.
The essence of Lawson replaced the Emperor's divine fire, becoming the true genetic father of these bodies.
Isa's life authority, like a gentle knitting needle, mended all the conflicts and curses at the genetic level.
Swarm thinking is like the most precise surgeon, stripping away all structures related to personality defects, chaotic pollution, and historical memory from the original template.
Only the pure and powerful essence of war remains.
Finally, Lawson injected one million points of pure subspace energy, compressed to its limit, into each body, solidifying it within physical matter and transforming it into a stable source of life.
Isa withdrew her finger and looked at the real-time scrolling life data inside the incubation chamber.
"Their life structures have stabilized. The cardiac output power of the Horus template is 21 percent higher than the original record, the cell regeneration rate of the Vulgan template has nearly doubled, and the nerve conduction speed of the Forgrim template has also surpassed the prototype."
She turned her head, her emerald green eyes looking at Lawson: "Where are their souls?"
"The transfer was perfect; their memories, personality, conscious habits, and even their habit of subconsciously peeking at other people's cards while playing cards were all preserved."
"Now, let's examine the results."
The swarm network received the command.
The warning lights on the exterior of all eighteen culture chambers turned green simultaneously, and the heavy static locks were released layer by layer.
The pressure valve on the top of the first culture chamber opened to both sides, and the pale golden culture medium rapidly descended along the discharge pipe.
As the liquid level touched the bottom, the tall figure slowly opened its eyes.
Er Gou uses Horus's original template.
However, he bore no resemblance to the rebel warlord.
The face still belonged to Er Gou, but the originally somewhat rugged features were stretched out by the Primal Body-level bones, making them appear wider and harder, as if carved from granite.
He is over four meters tall, and his shoulders are as broad as a city wall.
The incubation chamber opens silently from the front.
Er Gou took a step forward.
Boom!
The bare soles landed on the alloy floor, and a dull thud echoed throughout the experimental hall.
He looked down at his hands.
He stretched his shoulders and turned his neck, and the Primitive-level nervous system quickly adapted under his consciousness, as if this body had always belonged to him.
Er Gou looked up and saw Lawson.
He strode up to Lawson, his massive body suddenly dropping to one knee with a booming voice.
"Boss! You're in fantastic shape!"
As his voice faded, the remaining seventeen incubation chambers were activated in sequence.
Three dogs emerged from the second incubation chamber.
He chose the Vulcan model, who is nearly five meters tall, much taller than Er Gou.
He did not develop the dark skin of the Noctuns; the swarm network, while preserving the structure of the immortals, removed unnecessary external features.
He raised his hand and casually ran it along the sharp metal edge left after the incubation chamber was opened.
The skin had barely cracked open when the wound quickly began to move and close, and before the blood could even drip out, the hand was completely healed.
San Gou chuckled: "Not bad."
"Ergou turned around and cursed, "You're practically an indestructible monster, and all you say is 'okay'?"
“At least it’s more reliable than your Horus template,” Three Dogs retorted.
"I don't have Horus's face!"
"Character like."
"roll!"
Mastiff-04 uses the Roger Dorn template.
He stepped out of the incubation chamber, his body like a mobile fortress.
He stood there and surveyed the area, his first words being: "This experimental hall has seven structural defensive weaknesses."
The T-sequence mechanical intelligence responsible for the design remained silent for a second, after which a prompt popped up on the wall:
[Structural safety level reassessed...]
Mastiff-05 chose the Fogrim template.
Er Gou glanced at him: "Still not as handsome as me."
Mastiff-05 stretched his wrists, his eyes sharp: "Second brother, you can try it later."
"Try what?"
"Let's see if you can run into me."
Mastiff-06, Riemann Russ template.
As soon as he stepped out of the incubation chamber, he took a deep sniff of the air: "There are 327 researchers outside the door, a maintenance drone in the ventilation duct on the left, and two laboratory mice in the wall compartment on the right rear."
Mastiff-07 uses the Peturabo template and adds: "The tactical affinity of wolves cannot be based solely on their sense of smell."
Mastiff-08, Angron template.
His body was more robust than the other guards.
The original Angron's powerful empathy and combat instincts are preserved in this new body, while the curse brought by the Butcher's Sting has been completely removed.
He clenched his fists, closed his eyes, and felt it for a moment.
"I feel like I could kill a giant demon with one punch."
