Three years of relying on each other, from cold wars to reconciliations, and finally to dependence.
As everything Ms. Shion did for herself gradually merged with the image of her brother.
A few memories made Coco kneel on the ground, curling up and arching her back.
It felt as if something was gripping her body tightly, trying to crush her.
"Brother, I'm sorry, brother..."
The platinum-colored magical girl choked back tears, so weak that she needed the power of cause and effect from thirty million reincarnations to desperately squeeze out a sound from her throat.
"Don't leave Coco behind..."
The torrential golden rain was soaked back into transparency. Tears welled in her eyes as she stood up and staggered forward.
"Brother, where are you? Come back soon! Coco will never be disobedient again! Brother, where are you? Come back!"
The sound traveled along the golden curse, reaching every corner of the river of time, but there was no response.
Until his name is called.
"Jiang Si!"
The whole world fell silent for a moment.
The piece of memory that was removed is re-embedded into the world and returns to everyone's mind.
Then, the world began to turn again.
All those who slept in the curse have opened their eyes.
Bing Tang gently touched her cheek, her fingertips moistened with tears, "Jiang Si..."
Yinlian and An Shiyu both looked up, murmuring in a daze, "Jiang Si."
Ita'en stamped her foot, looking indignant, "Jiang, Si~"
west Lan, pulling the twins along, excitedly pumped her fists and roared loudly and clearly, "Jiang Si is awesome—"
Thousands of sounds converged like a stream.
Until Coco in the center called out again.
"Jiang Si!"
All the sounds flowed into the river of time, spreading to every corner!
The sky cracked open little by little.
Everyone looked up.
The golden curse that had spread throughout the world was gathered together above the crack in the sky.
A purple figure appeared faintly.
All the monstrous beasts in the world were annihilated.
All the filth and magic melted away, and all the curses became hers.
Darkness had nowhere to hide in her light; beneath him, there was no more disaster or pain, no more despair or sorrow.
The curse became a blessing in her presence.
She turned her head to the side, her voice tugged at by the calls, but the Nameless Immortal Emperor remained unmoved.
Just looking from afar.
Until, the platinum-gold power, like a hand, gripped her little finger tightly.
"elder brother……"
It's like when she was little, that tiny girl crying and begging.
She finally sighed.
Slowly taking steps, I walked towards the direction I was being pulled.
As time flowed on, the demonic armor slowly transformed into the Dragon Lord Ziyuan.
Over time, she transformed into the witch Shion.
The witch Shion gradually transformed back into the original Shion.
Until we reach the pinnacle of that chorus.
"Jiang Si!"
The magical armor suddenly and completely collapsed!
The young man re-enters the mortal world, listening to the calls of all living beings.
The Emperor's glory shines upon the world, and the people chant his name!
Looking down upon all living beings, he raised his hand to unleash his imperial might, bringing peace to the world!
The Celestial Emperor stepped into the mortal realm and instantly stood before Coco with his hands behind his back. Looking at his sister, who was in tears, he flicked her head with his finger.
"elder brother--!"
Jiang Si laughed loudly:
"Yes, I've always been here!"
(End of the book)
Author's Closing Remarks
That concludes the main storyline. There's also a final side story that explains the harem ending.
Those who are interested can give it a try.
This book was inspired by the Bilibili video "I saw an eternal monopoly in the magical girl world...", which has two versions: one with Ilya's eternal monopoly and the other with the supreme angel of light, both of which are the inspiration for this book.
Before I even started writing this book, I came up with this ending idea while looking at two clips. I designed an invincible protagonist who was defeated by magical girls, but in the end, he used magical girls' methods to imitate the way of cultivating immortality to achieve emptiness and return.
The preceding content is basically deduced from this ending, such as the curse of the Emperor of the Cursed Realm, a curse designed solely to revive Jiang Si, including the Miracle Seed problem with Coco in the early stages, Chongxu, the Mirror Kingdom, the World Tree, the Time Branch, and Black Coco's thirty million reincarnations...
All of this content was designed for the ending; the entire book is about the ending, like a plate of vinegar-wrapped dumplings.
That's why I've always said that this book was written for the ending. Although I broke down at one point and felt like I wouldn't be able to finish it, I had the most insomnia this year. Sometimes I only slept four or five hours in two days. I was anxious and tormented, and I really couldn't take it anymore. In the later stages, I could only take a lot of leave.
But I persevered in the end. I'm grateful to every reader who supported me. Even though the results were still pretty good in the later stages, and I made a stable 100,000 yuan a month, I had to grit my teeth and finish writing it. I've never seen so much money in my life.
Before writing this book, I hadn't found a job and was sitting on the roadside, genuinely feeling that my life would just drift by like this.
I only had three thousand yuan in my card, and that three thousand yuan was transferred to me by my mother. Although I had disagreements and arguments with my parents about finding a job, my relationship with them has always been very good. If my parents hadn't been so open-minded, I wouldn't have been able to keep writing novels.
Before writing this book, I hadn't achieved any significant results. My parents wanted me to find a stable job, which was for my own good, and I understood them. So, my initial plan was to earn a perfect attendance bonus and try to find a job without asking my family for money during that period.
Unexpectedly, the results far exceeded my expectations, and now I've become the richest person in the family. Next, I plan to take my parents on a trip to relax. I haven't spent much of the money I've earned yet, so I'll enjoy the feeling of being rich first.
Getting off topic, not only was the ending of this book determined before it was even written, but the outline was also completed long ago. As mentioned in the book's launch notes, the key point in the middle of the book is the father being disciplined in the mourning hall, and the ending is the return of the Great Emperor Ziyuan to the mortal world.
The scenes from the funeral hall reprimand to the later transformation into a mortal are important parts of Jiang Si's character development, so they were completed very early on. Essentially, they correspond to Jiang Si's attitude towards her parents in this life in the first three chapters—unchanged.
Jiang Si's character is characterized by his lack of growth and change; he maintains the same behavior as in the first three chapters until the very end.
All the content continues Jiang Si's character setting from the first three chapters—not to mention her abstract nature and fondness for imitating online novels, her attitude towards her parents and death has also remained unchanged.
In the funeral hall, Jiang Si's father is disciplined and disrupts the funeral. In the novel "Transformation into Mortals," taking care of her mother is one thing, but after her mother dies, she can casually throw her into the sea. All her behaviors and thoughts remain unchanged, just like in the first three chapters. The funeral hall discipline and the transformation into mortals are just another perspective to help readers better understand the character traits of Jiang Si.
Because from this point onward, there's no need to continue emphasizing Jiang Si's character. So, after the story of her scolding her father at the funeral and her transformation into a mortal ends, the book enters its second half and heads straight for the ending.
This is why I emphasized the importance of "training the father in the mourning hall" in my book launch message.
Jiang Si's other principle is to avoid owing favors to others.
In the first chapter, he kicks the truck for Lu Ya; in the third chapter, he protects Coco; and later, he wants to save Coco's parents, but feels a little lost after realizing it's impossible. These are all contents of the first three chapters, which are about not owing favors and repaying kindness.
So at the end, he emphasized this part again, namely, "he had already been blessed by the miracles of magical girls."
Essentially, Jiang Si was saved by a magical girl, and it was through the magical girl's miracle that her long-cherished wish was finally fulfilled.
The more he yearned to cultivate immortality, the heavier the debt he owed to the magical girl became. Therefore, throughout the entire book, all his help and protection of the magical girl was based on this. Helping Susan Silver Lotus regain her magical girl powers, saving Qingluan Iris, and guiding Jade Fox were all to repay the magical girl's kindness.
However, in this process, it might seem a bit like that of a magical girl.
Regarding the name "Lycoris Radiata," although I initially thought it would be to repay a debt of gratitude to the magical girls, we hadn't decided on the name of the blue magical girl at the time. Later, seeing that everyone liked Lycoris Radiata, I simply named her Lycoris Radiata to ride the wave of popularity. So, Lycoris Radiata's name has nothing to do with the final Jiang Si's confession that she did so much to repay the magical girls' debts. Whether it was Lycoris Radiata or another magical girl at the time, the result would have been the same.
In the end, it was actually the entire magical girl group that repaid the debt of gratitude. Jiang Si never actively sought out Cui Que. Coco guessed that Jiang Si's liking for Cui Que was just for laughs. Hopefully, everyone won't be as foolish as Coco in thinking that Jiang Si likes Cui Que just because she is grateful for the magical girl's miracle. That would be too silly.
Jiang Si's core personality revolves around responsibility and habit. She always takes on her responsibilities. Jiang Si's only criterion for liking someone is that they are someone she has been around for a long time and has become accustomed to.
Originally, I didn't want to state Jiang Si's character in a straightforward way. After all, it's everyone's freedom to like or dislike her. I've written it, and everyone can understand it for themselves. However, some people like to take things out of context and use a part of the distorted content to spread rumors, insults, and ridicule. It's quite disgusting.
So I've decided to explain it myself first. This book is the story of Jiang Si sticking to her own beliefs and ultimately achieving great success; her character has never changed.
Including the rumors that I had a bad relationship with my parents, saying that I wrote the funeral admonition to my father in order to disgust him, I don't know how I pieced it together, but quite a few people believed it, which led to many people calling me a beast.
In short, this book is finished. Let me clarify something: I have a very good relationship with my parents. The scene of scolding my father at the funeral was written to explain the character of Jiang Si. This reference comes from the movie Huo Yuanjia, where Huo Yuanjia says in front of his father's memorial tablet that his father's punches were not fast or ruthless enough. I hope this rumor will stop.
The titles of the first ten chapters of this book are taken from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and the titles before the final chapter are taken from the novel titled by Dong Ge and Squid. It's also my little trick. The titles have also changed from Magical Girl to Unrivaled for Eternity.
Thank you to Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Magical Girl Illya, Pretty Cure, and Yuuki Yuna is a Hero. Thank you to Dong Ge and Cuttlefish, Off-Duty Demon, and Immortal from Slaying Demons (I finally learned how to write web novels after reading this book, and the underlying structure of this book is also based on Slaying Demons, so I am really grateful to Teacher Lu Yue). I also thank other web novel predecessors for their works.
In short, the book was completed while still staying true to its theme. I initially planned to finish it at 2.5 million words, but it ended up being over 2.4 million words. It's a pity that too much content was compressed; otherwise, it would have been about the word count I expected.
I'll write some side stories after that, then take a break for a while, and then try my hand at job interviews again to see if I can find a stable job.
As for never writing another book, this book was indeed written as if it were the last one. However, if there are any interesting and profitable ideas in the future, it's not necessarily true that I will never write again; life is still long.
That's settled then. Hope we meet again someday. This is Green Tea's last bow to everyone.
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, please give me a monthly ticket!
Thank you for reading this far!
? Notice regarding subsequent side stories and the "complete book subscription" event (deadline: September 27)
Structurally speaking, the return of Emperor Ziyuan to the mortal realm was the grand finale planned from the beginning, while Jiang Si's strategy for having children was content that she had been conceiving since promising readers that she would write about the harem.
This full-subscription side story was completed two days after the finale. I apologize for the delay until the end of the month because I wanted to participate in the full-subscription event.
Although there were originally plans for other side stories, such as how An Shiyu and Yin Lian relied on Coco and Coco's parents to fight against the Qingyun Sect and then get married, the continuation of the Seven True Ones story, the changing situation in Chongxu, and who ultimately won to become the representative of the Chongxu harem, I'm currently allowed a break. I've been traveling around a lot lately, even planning to buy a car for a road trip, to connect with more people. After living alone in my house for a year, I just want to go to lively places and chat with people. It will probably be difficult for me to focus on writing novels anytime soon.
