"Who cares what the new student's name is? Except for monsters like you." Daphne shrugged. "By the way, what's wrong with Draco?"

There are actually people eager to work?

Praris smiled and said, "A flaw of having no principles."

After saying that, Praris stood up and walked towards Zabini: "Mind if we change opponents? It seems that Draco won't be back for a while."

Zabini glanced at her sideways: "If leisure and entertainment have turned into a competitive event, then I'd better take it seriously."

Blaise Zabini was even more arrogant than Draco; he looked down on almost everyone.

In the early days, when Prarese and Draco were exchanging barbs, it was fairly even. But on the rare occasions that Zabini spoke, he always managed to provoke Prarese into anger.

However, this time he didn't have the chance to anger Praris. The Wizard Chess had welcomed their loyal leader, and victory was only a matter of time.

Praris seized the opportunity presented by Draco's predicament and won with overwhelming force.

Daphne, who was watching, covered her mouth and chuckled: "Bress, if you hadn't gone home from the Christmas party last year, you would have known that you shouldn't have been Praris's opponent."

Zabini's skin was still too dark, and Praris was disappointed that he didn't get to see Zabini's dark face after his defeat.

Even darker than Zabini's skin was the night at the Astronomical Tower, where Professor Sinister was furious lately, drinking and badmouthing Umbridge.

“I told myself, Aurora, in the vastness of the universe and the eternity of time, a bastard like Umbridge wouldn’t even be remembered for a second,” Sinesta said, clutching a bottle of liquor, feeling dizzy.

Suddenly, her eyes widened, and she said angrily, "But she actually made me attend class during the day! Prarese, just because astronomy class is held at night, it might increase the probability of students going out at night, giving students an excuse to come home late!"

Sinister, true to her status as Stella's close friend, displayed the same profanity: "I'm teaching an astronomy class! An astronomy class! And you're teaching it during the day! My students are supposed to be stargazing! What stars are they stargazing in broad daylight? The sun, the moon, and Venus?!"

Praris instinctively leaned back, dodging Professor Sinesta, who was swinging his fist and searching for enemies in the air.

"Hu-hu-hu-"

Sinesta performed a series of maneuvers without injuring anyone. Aside from exhausting herself, nothing else happened.

“We can’t stop her,” Praris said softly. “Educational reform—the Ministry of Magic has already given her the title of Senior Investigator, hasn’t it? There’s nothing we can do except make things difficult for her from the sidelines.”

“I thought all the Slytherins supported Umbridge.” Sinister pulled out a bag of crispy peanuts and crunched on one.

Praris raised an eyebrow: "Stella is also a Slytherin."

Miss Stewart has said a lot of bad things about Umbridge in private.

Nevertheless, Stella accepted all the benefits without hesitation.

Who would turn down power?

“Things will only get worse after that,” Sinister said vaguely. “Stay said they’ve gone through some policy drafts…the kind that will make Umbridge even more pleased with herself.”

“We should have expected this,” Praris sighed. “How could Fudge be satisfied without completely defeating Dumbledore?”

Sinister sighed. "I was quite happy at the beginning of this semester. I've been so bored since Stacy graduated, and Sprout is a good listener, but I can't keep telling her about all my fun and games. It makes me seem very immature!"

She said mournfully, "Grapple is teaching again this semester, at least I have someone to talk to. Who would have thought it would have such a negative effect! Don't you think Dumbledore is going to do something about it?"

Praris blinked. "That's hard for me to say, after all, it's Dumbledore's business—"

“Yeah, right.” Sinister scratched his head and then went back to drinking his wine.

With an hour to go before curfew, Praris bid farewell to Sinister and walked down from the Astronomical Tower.

When he reached about the third or fourth floor, Praris spotted a figure who was hunched over and seemed to be covering something as he slowly walked up.

Hearing footsteps behind him, Harry Potter quickly turned around.

He thought that Umbridge, that freak, had changed his mind and was going to torture him again. But when he looked closer, he realized it was Praris Prince from Slytherin.

Harry Potter thought with a touch of self-mockery that he always seemed to run into this person when he was at his most disheveled. When he was dressed haphazardly at the start of the school year, when he was desperately running away from Snape, when he ran away from home and was taken to the Leaky Cauldron, and so on.

Praris blinked, glanced around, and then asked, "Are you injured?"

Harry Potter was quite surprised. This Slytherin, who was close to Malfoy, was actually asking about his injuries? Had he been hallucinating because of Umbridge's punishment?

Prareas continued walking towards him. "Porter, why do you always manage to hurt yourself at school?"

Harry quickly hid his hands behind his back and said sharply, "What's it to you, Prince?"

Unfortunately, Prarese had such good eyesight that she clearly spotted the red mark on Harry's hand.

"Umbridge punished you?" This time it was Prares's turn to be surprised. "Didn't you tell Sirius and Winnie when you met them last time?"

"What?" Harry exclaimed in surprise, "How could you—"

Why would Prince mention these two people in such a familiar tone!

Prarese spoke rapidly: “I thought you all knew—Hermione is incredibly reliable. There’s still some time before curfew, come with me.”

bathroom.

“Oh! Pray!” Myrtle gave Harry and Prayers a knowing look. “You’re actually dating Harry Potter?!”

“No, Myrtle,” Praris said helplessly. “We just have some important things to say. Could you please watch the gate for us?”

“Don’t be shy—” Myrtle floated away, swaying slightly. “You’re the one who told me that everyone has the right to love. Is the distance between Gryffindor and Slytherin really greater than the difference between humans and ghosts?”

"Is this how I taught you?" Praris felt she had completely misled Myrtle. "Don't tell me that as my affair with Marcus escalates, you've also—"

"I just wanted to do my part for Pry's love—" Myrtle dramatically wiped away her tears, "Gryffindor and Slytherin, what contradictory feelings! Don't worry! Myrtle will protect Pry and Harry's love!"

"I think you just want to vent your anger," Praris said helplessly. "Is my 'show' really that entertaining?"

Myrtle dared not answer and quickly floated away.

Praris sighed and turned to Harry. "To make a long story short, Winnie and Prim are family. So, I'll help you for their sake. You should have seen my pen name, Talia. Yes, it was I who exposed Crouch Jr.'s true colors."

Harry's mouth dropped open so wide he could barely close it: "What! You're Spoon? But...but...how could this be!"

Harry found it utterly illogical, yet damnably so. Prince of Slytherin was the only one who could rival Hermione academically, so it made perfect sense that Hermione would correspond with her.

“I’m glad you appreciate the name, even though Hermione said you all dislike it.” Prareas didn’t give Harry time to process it, and continued, “But you also know that I’m a Slytherin, and helping you is risky for me.”

"And you don't have Hermione's ability to keep secrets—don't deny it, can you hide something for years without revealing a single word, even if the person asking you is your best friend?"

Harry nodded and shook his head, somewhat confused.

He stubbornly believed in his abilities, but if the other party was Hermione… He thought about it and decided to play it safe.

Praris stated bluntly, "So, now that you understand all of this, in order to cooperate more deeply, I hope we can make an unbreakable vow. You cannot reveal my identity to anyone, nor the cooperation between me and you."

“I don’t know you that well,” Harry said reluctantly. “Yes, you’ve helped us a lot. But Moody… I mean, Barty Crouch Jr. has helped me a lot too. You understand?”

Praris raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Harry Potter...you've successfully changed my opinion of you. Alright, alright, vows can be two-way. So you can also make an agreement with me, asking that I won't harbor any ill will towards you."

Prareas also told him that Hermione knew her identity; she was only preventing Harry Potter from blurting out the truth. If it came down to explaining her identity, Hermione could easily be the one to speak.

Harry felt like he was on a rollercoaster, speeding along. With just a few words from Prader, everything seemed to make perfect sense to him.

Harry had a basis for trusting Talia as a person, and also for trusting his tutelage, Miss Brown. But when Talia turned out to be a Slytherin… frankly, it put his judgment to the test.

Prasris also said that Dumbledore knew about it.

“Remember? My whistleblower letter was delivered to Dumbledore through Hermione. He believed me without hesitation and arrested Crouch Jr. on the spot.”

Harry was almost convinced by her, and he asked hesitantly, "So, you're Miss Brown's daughter?"

Harry remembered Sirius Black's words to Miss Brown: "Don't you want to see your daughter?"

Praris paused for a moment upon hearing Harry's words.

But she quickly recovered and said methodically, "Towards the end of the summer vacation after third grade, Sirius came to our house because of your scar. Also, Winnie has a really big skull mug. She brought that mug to your place; you might have seen it."

Prader realized that Harry Potter had been led astray by Sirius's thinking. But she didn't deny it; she needed to quickly gain Harry Potter's trust.

A lie more sophisticated than one that is half true and half false is one that is entirely true.

Instead of answering the question directly, she used two examples to support her point.

Chapter 105 Unexpected Accident

Prarese finally convinced Harry.

After the oath was signed, Praris flipped his hand: "Your training time was too short. You did well enough against Mystic, but you still have some shortcomings against other opponents."

After saying that, she pointed to her eyes: "Potter, people's eyes are easily deceived. I will send Hermione the spell to dazzle her. When Umbridge wants to put you in solitary confinement, you will be able to let her see what she wants to see. However... it's best to avoid solitary confinement as much as possible."

The fire that had been burning inside Harry suddenly flared up again.

One tells him to tone it down, another tells him to calm down! Now even Praris Prince is advising him!

Could it be that he lived for fifteen years without realizing he was truly a madman?

He kicked the toilet door open and said impatiently, "That's ridiculous! Whether I get locked up or not is not my business!"

“You can’t decide, but you can’t give her a reason to put her in solitary confinement. I understand your pain, but for the long-term benefit, you have to endure it.” Prareas racked his brains for words. “Think about it, how worried Hermione and Weasley were, and how happy Umbridge was when you were being tortured over and over again? When you can’t help but want to confront her head-on, just think about it like that.”

After saying that, she took out her pocket watch, checked the time, and said, "Curfew is about to start. That's all for today. Wait for my letter. See you later."

Praris thanked Myrtle for keeping watch for her and promised to visit her again when she had time, then hurried toward the dungeon.

Slytherin common room.

As curfew approached, most of the torches on the walls of the lounge had been extinguished, with only a few dim lights still on.

The moonlight shone on the Black Lake, and the water rippled with pale green light, reflecting off Draco's profile.

He crossed his legs and rested them on the armrest of the sofa, holding a pocket watch just like the one Praris had.

It opened, then closed.

It opened again, then closed again.

Open it again, then close it again.

Da da da—

Even in the quiet night, the sound of footsteps could be clearly heard.

Prariska hurried into the public lounge before curfew.

"You're back?" Draco drawled. "I thought—you were looking for a thrill."

“Stimulating?” Praris repeated the word instinctively. “What kind of stimulation?”

Draco raised an eyebrow: "If you weren't a prefect, the near-breaking wouldn't be so exciting, would it?"

“Ha.” Prareas chuckled. “My bad, I had a few drinks with Professor Sinister. Draco, are you one of those people who actually follows the rules?”
