HP North Star's Radiance

Harry had originally planned to go and check it out during the day, but with a Slytherin standing in the library, it didn't seem very safe.
Harry and his friends had already found information about Nicolas Flamel because of Prader. However, they hadn't figured out anything about the Philosopher's Stone yet, since the information was too vague, and Cerberus wasn't so easy to get past.
Hermione decided to let them do the research first, and she would think of a solution after the holiday: "There must be a way, but I still need to look up the information about Cerberus and the Philosopher's Stone bit by bit. Damn, if only I had a photographic memory like Prince."
“What’s so good about that?” Ron waved his hands. “I don’t think we need to know that much. Her head is probably full of nonsense.”
“You shouldn’t underestimate her! We need to stay away from her,” Hermione said in a low voice. “She’s very smart, and if we get too close, I’m afraid she’ll find out what we’re doing.”
"What are you doing?" A faint voice sounded from behind in the corridor outside the library.
Harry was startled and turned around to see Praris Prince.
“Uh, I’m here. I was just about to go to the library to read. You know, we’ve been interested in Nicolas Flamel lately,” Harry mumbled nervously.
Praris blinked. "Swallow and shrug. You're lying. Going to the library isn't something I need to think about."
"I swallowed?" Harry paused, completely unaware. "No, how did she notice?"
“Your Adam’s apple moved,” Prarese said, as if he could hear Prarese’s thoughts.
Harry took two steps back: "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Left side?" Praris suddenly said, "Looks like it's not the left, it's the right side!"
The right side is the direction Harry fled in when Filch discovered him at night.
Harry is going crazy. Is she even human?
“I think, the Philosopher’s Stone! Ah, it seems so. I was careless last time.” Praris regretted her impulsiveness last time.
When someone lies, they often tell a half-truth, as most people believe this makes it easier to gain trust. Therefore, Prarese felt that Porter's first statement contained some truth.
So, by diverting his attention, she made him busy concealing his physical reactions to another purpose, and finally chose a possible target to attack him.
Sure enough, Harry Potter, whose attention was entirely focused on the target "on the left," was quite surprised when Praris suddenly shouted "The Philosopher's Stone," and could not hide his reaction at all.
Harry sighed. "What do you want?! I don't think I've done anything to you."
“That’s true,” Praris brushed a strand of hair behind his ear. “But I told you Nicolas Flamel, didn’t I? I don’t want to be responsible if you cause any trouble.”
"Don't worry, I will never make you take responsibility." Harry was a little speechless; what she said was indeed true.
Praris chuckled. "I hope so. I don't want to be on the same boat as you."
Harry looked left and right, not daring to look Praris in the eye. He felt that this man was a little scary and might see through his past.
He would rather deal with a giant, or something else, than deal with a person like this.
"Me too. In that case, there's nothing more to say. Goodbye forever!" Harry hurriedly ran away, as if something was chasing him.
This is not right, Praris thought.
Clearly, this matter is related to the Philosopher's Stone, but how did it end up at Hogwarts? Did Dumbledore bring it? To bring a dangerous item into Hogwarts?
This greatest white wizard of the century would obviously not do something so foolish. Unless he has ulterior motives.
Potter's physiological reaction couldn't be fake; he was indeed doing something related to the Philosopher's Stone. So where could the Philosopher's Stone be? Dumbledore's office? Or something else? Praris recalled the fourth-floor corridor mentioned at the beginning of the semester.
The principal's tone was very deliberate, which was quite interesting. It was less like saying, "None of you should go!" and more like, "There's a secret here! Come and see!"
Is this a trap, or a test? Does Dumbledore intend to use it to lure some of his enemies, test his colleagues, or train his students?
Or perhaps, killing three birds with one stone.
Praris began to get excited. Ah, it was far more interesting to pry into other people's secrets than to delve into his own sordid past.
So, what is it that Harry wants to hide even more than Nicolas Flamel?
Harry Potter was standing at the library entrance looking for directions, which meant that he had started from here last time. He knew to start on the right, but he wasn't sure how to get there.
Why would someone forget something? Under what circumstances would they forget something? When they are nervous, scared, or unable to see clearly? The answer that meets all of the above criteria is: when someone is discovered while out at night.
Harry Potter was doing something in the library at night when he was discovered by Mrs. Pince, Filch, or one of the night patrol teachers. He panicked and ran away, heading to the right, where he found something that had nothing to do with the Philosopher's Stone, but was very important to him and worth looking for again during the day.
Indeed, one shouldn't focus on just one thing, otherwise one's emotions can easily be swayed by it. It's much better to have more things to do; at least it's less likely to get stuck in one's emotions.
As for Porter's thoughts? That's not important.
The mystery of Harry Potter's important artifact remains unsolved for now, but it's still there in the fourth-floor corridor and won't move.
Praris walked up to the fourth floor. At the end of the corridor on her right was a wooden door. She pressed her ear to the door and heard heavy breathing.
Praris took a deep breath, and the pages of his mind began to turn.
"Astolpho!"
Her eyes burned, and the wooden door that had been in front of her disappeared from her sight, leaving only a three-headed giant dog lying behind it.
Astolpho was one of the Twelve Paladins, possessing the Eye of Insight. After his death, his companion, the sorcerer Malajiji, was inspired by him to invent the "Insight Charm," using "Astolpho" as the incantation. While it didn't grant him the ability to see enemies from miles away, it allowed him to see many unseen things. Later, the Insight Charm was mastered by some wizards, who, combined with various lock-picking spells, made stealing incredibly easy.
Estoff himself probably never imagined that he would become one of the thieves' idols.
In short, Praris used the Insight Charm to see the three-headed dog behind the wooden door and breathed a sigh of relief.
It seems we don't need to worry about Harry Potter or anyone else causing trouble over such a huge three-headed dog anytime soon.
Praris felt a strange sense of relief, a feeling that was strangely familiar and even made her uneasy. But she couldn't quite put her finger on why, so she decided to leave it at that for the time being.
As for Harry Potter's little secret, probably because Prader was too frightened last time, Harry Potter avoided her except when eating, and she couldn't see him at all, so Prader couldn't continue to explore.
Christmas has passed, though some things never truly pass. But time—time is always unforgiving, taking everything away.
After a holiday, Draco Malfoy stopped arguing with her. I don't know what he did on holiday, but he learned a leg-locking spell and went around trying it out on people.
"Draco, you should find a Gryffindor to use, that way you can get back at them." Pansy offered this terrible idea, but to her surprise, Malfoy actually agreed and prepared to go out and put it into practice.
Milison frowned: "Should we bring Pray along? She'll curse Lidton. I mean, let's just avoid any trouble."
“Mirison, you’re a Slytherin! You’re afraid of this and that! Please, do you really need to break the curse on Gryffindor?” Pansy said disdainfully.
Milison tugged at Praris: "Play, what do you think?"
Prareas, who was holding the newspaper, put it down and looked at Malfoy: "Professor Snape isn't at school today, so do whatever you want. As long as no one complains when he gets back, I don't think it'll be a big problem."
Draco whistled: "Thanks, just find a coward."
He turned and walked away with a nonchalant air, followed by Crabbe and Goyle.
“Play, are you unhappy?” Milison asked worriedly. “I feel like something’s different about you.”
“Oh really? Maybe I’m a year older and have grown up?” Praris said nonchalantly.
“Marcus, should we put up a banner for Hufflepuff?” Stella also started offering bad ideas.
Chapter 14 The Unfortunate Herb
Speaking of this, Marcus hasn't been having a good time lately either.
In Slytherin, Marcus was considered a good prefect; he cared for the younger students and was also the Quidditch captain. But losing the Slytherin trophy after seven consecutive victories was truly a disgrace.
Of course, outwardly, the Slytherins would target Gryffindor, displaying righteous indignation. But inwardly, Marcus's prestige suffered a blow, and many no longer trusted him as much as before.
For example, former Quidditch player Stella even suggested supporting Hufflepuff.
“This is better than supporting Gryffindor!” Stella raised an eyebrow. “After all, we can’t support Slytherin this time.”
Marcus was somewhat annoyed: "Are you mocking me?"
“Anyway, Slytherin never lost when I was in the team,” Stella said, tilting her head defiantly before getting up and leaving.
Pansy patted Marcus on the shoulder: "Draco went to mess with the Gryffindors, maybe he can avenge us."
Everyone else left, leaving only Praris and Marcus.
Prarees suddenly said, "Is this the unity of Slytherin? I thought she would comfort you."
“Failure is failure, I have to admit that. What good is comforting me?” Marcus clasped his hands together, leaned forward, and buried his head in his arms. “Yes, it always is.”
Things seem quite different in the upperclassmen of Slytherin than in the lowerclassmen. Perhaps it's because they are closer to entering society, and the relationships between people are no longer as simple as they were in the lowerclassmen.
When Marcus led his team to victory, Stella didn't hesitate to bet on him, even feeling that Millison's choice was "betrayal." When Marcus lost, she could then use his support for the Hufflepuffs to undermine him.
Yes, Marcus's style of play in Quidditch could be described as extremely "aggressive," even bordering on breaking the rules. But this was closely related to his seven years of Slytherin victories; he hoped the trophy wouldn't slip through his fingers, but fate had other plans.
"Are you still going to watch the game?" Praris asked.
Marcus shook his head: "No, but Gemma will go. She'll be watching you."
Gemma Farley, a prefectural chairwoman in Slytherin.
"Aren't you going to stand up for us?" Praris folded the newspaper and put it back on the shelf.
“Uh, I think Gemma will keep an eye on things, but if you keep talking, I might hesitate,” Marcus said helplessly. “But I need to rest for a bit, please let me off the hook!”
Marcus in the common room is a completely different person from the Marcus facing Gryffindor. The tall Marcus seems less aggressive – after all, he always looks like he wants to send people flying on the field.
"Well, Draco's wine is hidden in the cabinet under the glass case with the tea canister. Have a nice evening," Praris said before running off.
The next day, the final match of the Hogwarts Quidditch tournament took place.
Prareas felt he had some prophetic potential, and before the match even started, Malfoy began to provoke Weasley.
Gemma Farley completely ignored it: "Why hasn't the match started yet? My God, Dumbledore is here too."
Prarese said curiously, "I thought you would help Malfoy or stop him. I saw Percy Weasley was getting anxious over there."
Farley chuckled. "Prince? My dear, the little trick to being a Slytherin prefect is to pretend you don't see when your classmates are in a superior position or are provoking you, and let them do as they please. When your classmates are at a disadvantage or are being provoked, you should stand up for them and uphold justice."
After saying that, Farley waved his hand: "Marcus just meddles too much. When he's in a winning position, he sides with his own people, and when he's at a disadvantage, he tries to settle scores with others. It doesn't look good at all."
"Ah!" Millison suddenly shouted, "Miss Farley! Look!"
Farley's prefectural lesson was barely over when chaos erupted as Weasley, Longbottom, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle got into a brawl.
Weasley punched Draco hard in the eye, showing just how much he hated Malfoy's face.
Weasley only needs to beat up Malfoy, but Crabbe and Goyle have much more to consider. They need to protect Draco while also fighting back from the cracks.
Later, Longbottom joined the battle, and he became even more reckless, only attacking and not defending.
Praris and Fali tried to find a spell to stop them, but it was too difficult. They were wrestling and moving around, and the spells they cast were likely to hit the wrong person.
Gemma Farley raised her hands as if to do something, but couldn't do anything. Finally, she gave up completely: "Let them fight, damn it!"
An hour later.
