“Professor Lupin!” Praris greeted politely, “and this Mr. Auror.”
Lupin gave a bitter smile: "Praris, I'm no longer a professor."
"How did you know I was an Auror?" Kingsley asked in surprise.
Praris calmly replied, “Your exposed skin bears indelible wounds. You possess an imposing aura that commands respect without anger. You maintain a constant state of alertness, ready to engage in battle at any moment, much like Professor Moody.”
Kingsley nodded repeatedly, suddenly realizing the importance of these points when he disguised himself next time.
“Of course, most importantly, I’ve met you before,” Praris said with a mischievous smile. “In the principal’s office, next to Minister Fudge.”
Kingsley was about to nod when he suddenly realized what she had said and looked at her in surprise.
Prarese only said one note in the principal's office that could attract attention, so Kingsley didn't have a strong impression of her.
In addition, she changed into Muggle-style plush hooded pajamas, making her look like a very Muggle-friendly little wizard.
Even though he was an Auror with an exceptionally good memory, he couldn't match the fluffy little girl with the Slytherin girl in the office.
Lupin patted Kingsley on the shoulder and said, "Dumbledore instructed that this be kept secret—Prareth, this is Auror Kingsley Shackle.
After the initial greetings, Ms. Priscilla began to give Praris a long, detailed lecture, telling her to be careful while living alone and not to go out alone late at night; and that even when she was busy at home, she should eat properly…
She seemed no different from any other mother in the world who cared about her daughter.
This nagging went on for more than half an hour, and Lupin and Kingsley's eyes began to wander.
Praris, however, listened patiently to her and occasionally responded with a few words.
After finishing her rambling, Ms. Prie said softly, "Winnie has woken up, but she can't leave St. Mungo's yet. Her injuries and physical exhaustion are too severe; the therapist says she'll have to stay for another month or so before she can leave."
Praris wouldn't ask silly questions like "Can I go see her?"
She will only get one answer: "No".
Prarese looked at Lupin and Kingsley and said softly, "Please, take good care of Winnie."
Kingsley shook his head: "Plares, right? No need to say that, Winnie is our partner too."
Ms. Priscilla cannot stay for too long; an hour is the limit.
Ms. Prie stood up, and Praris also stood up.
Ms. Prie took a step toward the fire, and Prarese followed behind her.
The living room isn't that big; how far is it from the sofa to the fireplace? It's only a couple of steps, and she'll have nowhere left to go.
Ms. Prie looked back at her, then turned to look at Lupin and Kingsley: "I have something to say to Prie."
Lupin and Kingsley turned their heads away instinctively.
Ms. Prie leaned close to Prarese's ear and said in a voice barely above a whisper, "Little Prie, my dear, don't look back—you are under my custody."
Praris stared at her, wide-eyed in astonishment: "What!"
Lupin and Kingsley looked at them both in surprise, wondering what had happened.
Ms. Priscilla smiled gently and patted her on the shoulder: "It's true, thank you Dumbledore."
Prarese was completely stunned by these words, his surprise mixed with respect for Dumbledore.
It is very difficult to establish an adoption relationship without blood ties.
If Ms. Priestess is a distant relative of the Princes, then how far must Dumbledore's foresight be?
Either Dumbledore uses his power to make Ms. Priscilla adopt her.
Neither of them has been confirmed by Prarese himself.
Dumbledore is truly terrifying.
Chapter 139 Gringotts Adventure
Forgetting is a difficult thing for her.
Since Christmas ten years ago, the guardian registered on her identity information has been Father Dorian, the common guardian of all the children in the convent.
Even after she came to Hogwarts, this did not change.
Just as there is an invisible umbilical cord connecting her and Sylvia, this umbilical cord is called blood ties.
There is also an invisible shackle between her and the convent, which is this clear legal and social relationship.
She is like a kite; no matter how far she flies, there is always a thin, long line that shows her connection to the Maria Monastery.
When she turns around, the Virgin Mary's loving smile will transform into a kite string, gently tightening around her neck.
Ms. Prie's words were like a thunderbolt to her, severing the kite string and allowing her to grow wings and fly towards freedom.
Prarese had no interest in finding out how Ms. Prie became her guardian; she sat on the sofa, her body tense.
After a few seconds, she put her right index and middle fingers together and placed them on the upper left side of her neck, near her chin.
One minute later, Praris determined that the heart rate was slightly fast, but still within the normal range.
Then, she took out the pocket watch Draco had given her from her pajamas pocket and silently counted the time.
The time frequency is normal.
Finally, she took a book off the shelf, one of Winnie's books—Virginia's "The Waves."
Prior to this, Praris had never read the book.
Praris casually opened the book, silently reciting the words: "The sea and sky blended seamlessly, with only gentle ripples on the surface of the sea, like a piece of cloth swaying and creating layers of folds..."
After finishing her silent recitation, she closed the book, closed her eyes for ten seconds, and then opened it again.
The contents of the book have not changed at all.
Praris sat back down on the sofa, looking dazed.
She breathed a sigh of relief, thinking, "Thank goodness, I'm not dreaming."
It took her some time to figure out if she was dreaming, but it also helped her process the surprise of the change of guardian.
Praris put the pocket watch in his pajama pocket and shuffled towards the makeshift studio in his slippers.
If she doesn't return to her "job" soon, and something happens to the lacewing, she will become the fastest person in history to repay kindness with enmity.
Praris stared at the bubbling potion in the cauldron and thought, "This is good."
In the evening of mid-July, Dumbledore, keeping track of the time, arrived at Black Rose Lane once again.
Prareus held up the medicine bottle to Dumbledore: "Sir, Polyjuice Potion, it should last an hour and a half—is that enough?"
Even Dumbledore seemed somewhat surprised.
He squinted, his eyes gleaming brightly: "Excellent, truly excellent!"
Prares' compound decoction lasts for half an hour longer than ordinary compound decoctions.
To put it bluntly, if Barty Crouch Jr. had used this quality of Polyjuice Potion, Moody's hair would have been plucked much less.
Having received Dumbledore's approval, Prasrix took a sip without hesitation, and her appearance instantly began to change, transforming her into a tall witch.
Praris looked in the mirror. The witch in the mirror had messy hair, thick eyelids, thin lips, and sunken cheeks.
Where was Dumbledore? He pointed his wand at himself, transforming into a brown-haired, light-skinned wizard in his forties.
Dumbledore said in a light tone, "Now, I am a newly joined Death Eater named Brian Walder."
Prareus frowned at Dumbledore: "Headmaster—are you sure?"
Yes, Wald is indeed an English surname, meaning forest.
But it's hard for Praris not to think of the principal's other arch-rival, Grindelwald.
The surname Wald is like part of Grindelwald. And Brian is Dumbledore's middle name, which is also part of Dumbledore's name.
Upon further analysis, the name becomes somewhat ambiguous.
The middle-aged male version of Dumbledore chuckled lightly: "Plares, is there a problem?"
“No, no,” Praris said casually. “I’m just a little unaccustomed to you the way you are now.”
Praris shook his head, trying to banish those Grindelwald x Dumbledore and rival-wife fanfiction stories from his mind.
Dumbledore smiled knowingly and reminded Prarese, "Prarese, you're too polite. You need to be more arrogant, more ruthless, more cruel, more insane... that's how you'll look like Bellatrix Lestrange."
Sounds like a Death Eater version of Narcissa Malfoy... wait, they're sisters.
Bella shouted, "Who do you think you are! I don't need you to teach me!"
Dumbledore exclaimed happily, "There couldn't be better!"
The two put on hoods, and "Wald" grabbed "Bella's" hand. The attendant materialized a short distance from the entrance of Gringotts, then quickly let go.
They walked together to the bronze gate, where two fairies dressed in red and gold uniforms stood.
They bowed to "Bella" and addressed her as "Mrs. Lestrange".
Bella's presence here is perfectly normal, since she was apparated by Voldemort and didn't appear on the arrest list for the Department of Mysteries incident.
The fairies don't care about fugitives; they only care about money, and the Lestrange family are their long-time customers.
Bella, chin held high, ignored them and walked past the two fairy doormen into the marble hall behind the second door.
Dumbledore and she arrived under cover of night, when there were hardly any guests left in the hall.
"Mrs. Lestrange!" The fairy before her seemed somewhat surprised. "It's been a long time—how can I help you?"
Bella gave a haughty sneer: "I want to see my treasure trove... ah, yes, my treasure trove! To see if any fools, because of my brief absence, have dared to covet my treasures!"
Bella's tone made it sound as if she had been imprisoned in Azkaban for only ten days, not ten years.
The fairies seemed a little nervous, but finally mustered up the courage to ask, "Did you bring your keys?"
"The key?!" the twisted, contorted witch screamed, "You damned goblins, you didn't—"
"Wald" stopped "Bella" at the right moment, shouting, "Lestrange! Have you forgotten why we're here?"
“Who gives you the right to interrupt me!” Bella said sneer. “How long have you served your master? How long have I served my master?”
The fairies were indeed confirming Bella's identity.
Seeing Bella's unwavering rebuttal and insults, the fairy immediately summoned a young fairy to retrieve the key they were keeping.
