Ms. Sprout said it was a fruit that made people happy.

Praris asked, "So if someone wants to learn Patronus, all she has to do is eat the Sweet Fruit, right?"

Ms. Sprout laughed at this: "Of course not, Pray. How can happiness obtained through external means be genuine joy?"

Praris nodded: "That's true."

Prarese returned to the Slytherin common room with the sweet fruit given to her by Lady Sprout and shared it with her friends.

“You haven’t read today’s newspaper yet!” Milison lifted his butt and moved on the sofa, without actually standing up, but he managed to slide himself to Praris’s side.

Millison laughed so hard he almost choked: "You absolutely have to watch this, hahahahaha!"

"Hmm?" Praris took the newspaper. "Is it Porter's pre-game interview? The heartbroken Warrior boy, crying for his parents every night... Beneath his strong exterior lies a sensitive and bewildered heart... We can't help but suspect that deep down, there's a fragile and pitiful little girl inside him—"

Oh? There really is specific interview content!

Is this still the Porter that Prarese knew?

“And there’s more!” Milison lifted the newspaper up a little.

"Hmm, Potter's first love... Granger?! A Muggle witch with stunning beauty, and Potter and Granger were the most talented wizards in Gryffindor... A perfect match, a golden couple... How many pearls did Potter shed under her tender eyes... And how many lonely and sorrowful nights did he embrace his beloved and pour out his heart about his unhappy past?"

Skeeter stated that this came from a personal account by Porter's friend, Colin Crevey.

Praris's lips twitched. Skeeter must have never seen the real Hermione to associate Hermione with "tender, watery eyes".

“And another thing!” Milison pointed to the newspaper again.

Praris's eyelids twitched, and he said with difficulty, "I might find it a little hard to stand by and watch; this is pure fabrication. Okay, okay, one last thing!"

"Oh, Sirius—ah? The handsome godfather who was exonerated and traveled thousands of miles to teach his son…an unequal, secret, dark, and false parent-child relationship…he sought his lost youth in him, he mended his broken childhood in him."

"When Sirius gazes lovingly at this young warrior, is he thinking of Potter himself, or his deceased friend? On the tilted scales of emotion, does the young warrior Potter, yearning for affection, find healing in this relationship, or is it a tragic case of drinking poison to quench his thirst...?"

The accompanying illustration shows Sirius Black "affectionately" embracing Harry Potter inside a tent, while he is seen whispering something to him. In his arms, Potter's eyes are filled with unparalleled trust and affection—all of this is Skeeter's description.

Praris was deeply shocked and remained unsettled for a long time.

It seems the sweet fruit won't be of any use; Potter's scandals will provide plenty of amusement for Slytherin's gossip for the next few weeks.

"Hahahahaha!" Daphne was laughing so hard she was practically going crazy, completely abandoning any semblance of ladylike composure.

She turned to Praris and said, "You've finished reading? Hahaha, I really don't know how that bitch Skeeter managed to do it! Now everyone has a copy of this newspaper, and those who didn't even write to the Daily Prophet asking for a reprint."

Daphne clicked her tongue and remarked, "I must say, it's quite captivating."

Praris straightened his jaw, which had dropped in shock, and quickly shoved the newspaper into Millison's hand: "Get away from me! I'm out of my mind!"

Praris regretted it.

With her memory, let alone ten days or half a month, she'll probably still remember "The Little Girl in Potter's Heart" and "Granger the Tenderhearted," as well as the twisted, unspoken feelings between her godfather and godson, even when she's forty.

Skeeter, how many pounds of poisonous mushrooms did you eat to write such an earth-shattering and awe-inspiring article?

It's impossible to accurately determine how eccentric Skeeter is, after all, St. Mungo's doesn't have a psychiatry department—Mirison is right, St. Mungo really needs to add one—but her article has garnered widespread public discussion.

Driven by a voyeuristic desire to peek into the private lives of celebrities, that issue of The Daily Prophet sold like hotcakes, with sales skyrocketing.

Slytherins often have to take some classes with Gryffindors, which gives them opportunities to mock Potter.

Even someone as diligent as Prarese couldn't help but have words like "sensitive," "vulnerable," "broken," and "affectionate" pop into her head during class, not to mention the other Slytherins.

These guys won't let any opportunity to target Gryffindor slip by.

Hermione had repeatedly hoped that Prares would allow her to stay quietly in the classroom at the Astronomy Tower for an hour or two: "There's nowhere in this school where I can find peace and quiet!"

Hermione had initially hidden herself in the library, but Durmstranger's Krum was also studying there, and his fans kept the library in turmoil.

After Prarese borrowed the key so many times, Sinister started looking at her with a strange expression.

Stella wrote in her letter: "Orl suspects you're in love. The view from the Astronomy Tower is nice; it's a good place for romance, isn't it?"

Chapter 82 Try it

Praris's reply was sharp and clear: "I suspect someone has been putting aerosolized aphrodisiacs into the school. Hogwarts now looks like it's been marinated in the dopamine of young people!"

Stella replied with a letter filled with "hahahaha," her schadenfreude evident in her words.

“Can’t you stand these comments?” Prarese said to Hermione. “Do you need me to borrow the keys for you a few more times?”

Hermione shook her head. "No, it's not that I can't stand what they're saying, it's just that they're too noisy and it's affecting my studies. Prareas, if someone told you the sun rises in the west, would you be angry? Since we all know that Rita Skeeter's words are nonsense, why would we be angry?"

Hermione's real concern was about Harry and Ron: "They clearly care about each other, so why won't they talk to each other?"

Prareas aptly put it: "Awkwardness isn't because you don't care; sometimes it's precisely because you care too much."

Hermione no longer needs to go to the Astronomy Tower, but Prarese is unlikely to go there many more times.

Miles was like an enthusiastic big dog, always eager to chase after her. He pursued Prarese in an almost clumsy way, as if he believed that effort would always be rewarded in matters of the heart.

In a letter to Winnie, Prarese wrote: "I used to know someone who was just as foolish as Miles. She believed that giving her heart and putting in a lot of work would earn her the kindness of others."

"Unfortunately, none of this mattered. In the end, she was able to live like a semi-normal person because she traded a pound for a slice of black bread. People made a profit, so they would occasionally say a few good words about her to others."

Winnie and Ms. Prie held different views on this.

Ms. Prie's handwriting: "Praris, love is sometimes foolish. People who are too clever are often afraid of love, because clever people can always see the dark side, and when suddenly exposed to bright light, they are easily blinded."

"Why not give it a try? Our lives are so short, and it's such a joy to have someone who truly loves us! You lack the guidance of older women. Being in a relationship doesn't mean you have to take full responsibility for that boy, much less plan for the rest of your life for him."

Winnie's handwriting: "My first husband was interested in all sorts of strange and wonderful things, which gave me a hobby of collecting trinkets. My second husband was a Muggle wizard who loved reading novels, which led me to choose to become a writer after resigning from the Ministry of Magic."

"I also had a brief fling with a Death Eater, only to later discover that it was all arranged by Mysterio. But this Death Eater also taught me that being a Death Eater is a dead end; you can't even control your own feelings. My third girlfriend was a Muggle who loved to travel, and she healed my post-war anxieties. What's the big deal about dating a few? It just means you're popular!"

Ms. Prie's handwriting: "Prie, don't listen to Winnie's nonsense. Marriage should be a serious matter, but love can certainly be free. No one says that a girl can only meet one boy in her lifetime. Love is simply two free souls meeting on life's journey, having a brief period of happy time together, and drawing strength from each other."

Winnie's handwriting reads: "When the train is about to depart, you can choose to buy tickets for the same train as him and travel the rest of the journey together. Or you can take another train and meet the next destined traveler."

Praris sat under a large tree by the Black Lake, holding letters written to her by her family.

She always has clear goals and can write down long plans for the future, outlining what she wants to learn, do, and possess. She has benefited from these solid plans, gaining knowledge, strength, and wealth beyond her peers.

Love wasn't in her plans, and she couldn't force them into them.

Draco's special feelings for her weren't yet very obvious, and she could easily ignore them. But Miles's feelings were direct and intense, and she couldn't find any room to avoid them.

In the past, she would have dealt with such sudden events decisively, just like the secret room that threatened her survival.

But this time it's love, a love that can't be easily dealt with.

“Praris!” Miles ran towards her somewhat awkwardly.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out that he was protecting a stemmed wine glass from a cabinet in a common lounge, the pale yellow liquid swaying as it was shaken.

Miles' eyes lit up as he proudly presented his glass to Praris: "Ms. Rostamer said there's no takeout, and she won't let me take any glasses from the shop, so I went to the common room and got a stemmed glass. Would you like to try some mead?"

Praris gave him a deep look.

"Praris, you restored an entire wall of paintings all by yourself!" Father Dowling exclaimed in surprise.

Little Praris nodded, looking expectantly at Father Dorian.

"Quite impressive, your devotion is admirable—"

“Oh!” Sister Maine exclaimed suddenly. “Father! Fiona said this afternoon that her wound is hurting again. I was thinking, should we have Matthew buy some painkillers?”

Father Dorian nodded. "Then let Matthew set off early, before it gets dark. As for Praris, Fiona can't work, so you can do her chores too! May the Lord forgive you!"

That was the first time she missed the opportunity to go to school; Father Dowling had promised her that she could go to school once the murals were restored.

Prarese suddenly felt an impulse, an impulse that seemed almost bizarre to her.

She reached out and took the wine glass, a radiant smile on her face: "Okay."

Under the trees by the Black Lake, the wind rustled the leaves.

Praris added slowly, "Of course, you can try."

Miles froze, looking down into Praris's dark eyes, his gaze trembling: "You mean, give it a try?"

"Okay, I'll give it a try."

"Should I try it, or should I try the mead?"

"Just trying it out."

Like a jack-o'-lantern lit up on Halloween, Miles' eyes lit up.

He covered his mouth in disbelief, but couldn't hide his wide, crescent-shaped eyes: "Really? I'm not dreaming, am I?"

After the initial excitement subsided, he said with regret, "Merlin, at a time like this, I don't even have a bouquet of flowers!"

Praris tilted his head: "Do you want flowers?"

She stretched out her hand, and a yellow double-petaled flower bloomed in her palm.

It's wandless magic!

Prarese handed the flower to Miles: "It's the same color as your honey beer."

Miles stared at her, his face flushing red within seconds. He carefully took the yellow flower and asked softly, "What kind of flower is this?"

“Sunflowers, Muggles say they bloom beautifully with just a little sunshine,” Praris said with a smile.

Miles immediately realized she was teasing him and rubbed his face with one hand, feeling embarrassed.

Miles Blaise!

You're two or three years older than her!

How could I be so easily charmed by her!

After Prares finished drinking the mead, Miles finally calmed down.

He sat down on the ground, but slowly moved toward the girl he liked, until his sleeve touched Praris's sleeve.

Miles whispered, "Prime, may I call you that? I've heard Parkinson and the others call you that."

“Hmm? Sure,” Praris said.

Miles hesitated for a moment before saying, "Play, why did you suddenly agree to give it a try?"

What Miles really wanted to ask was, "Why did you suddenly accept me?" His only advantage over Draco was that he was proactive.

Draco and Praderne were in the same grade, and Draco was her only close male classmate; they were practically childhood sweethearts. They knew each other well and were familiar with almost all of each other's friends; one of them had even saved the other's life.
