Pirates on Rocks' Ship 996

"Huh? Wait a minute! Over 170 years? How could a little girl like you have lived here for over 170 years? You don't look over 170 at all!" Reina finally realized something was wrong and said to Olga with a speechless expression.
"Nobody knows either! But they have indeed lived here for over 170 years!" Olga said innocently.
However, just as Reina was eating dinosaur meat, Olga's expression changed. She muttered to herself, "Looks like he didn't come here to find pure gold. He must have been accidentally swallowed by Lord Lantern. Luckily, he's quite strong, so he can stay here and help me catch dinosaurs to eat!"
"Hey~ I'm still here! Did you hear me?" Reina was speechless. The little girl just openly said what she was thinking. Was she ignoring his presence?
"Haha... Just kidding, how could I possibly think that way!" Olga reverted to her previous cute expression and said, pretending to be innocent.
Reina shook his head. He knew it. How could someone who had lived here for so long not have any aftereffects?
Because he was the only one there for a long time, she developed the habit of speaking her mind. Since there was no one else around, and no one would know if she spoke, she developed this habit.
“Alright, Olga, tell me how to leave, and I promise I'll take you with me!” Reina said, standing up.
Olga's expression changed several times as she muttered something under her breath, but Reina didn't try to eavesdrop.
“Fine, I can tell you how to leave, but you have to catch three more… no, fifty… ten more dinosaurs for me!” Olga said to Reina after struggling for a while.
"Huh? Aren't you coming with me? There are so many more delicious things to eat outside!" Reina looked at Olga, puzzled. Why wouldn't she leave with him?
“I have nowhere to go after I leave… I might as well stay here, at least… my hometown is here!” Olga said, head down.
"So... it was swallowed up by the lanternfish along with its hometown?" Reina thought to himself, looking at Olga's dejected expression.
“Come on, sit down! If you don’t have anywhere to go, I can recommend a place to you!” Reina plopped down, patted the spot next to him, and said to Olga.
"Where?" The little girl seemed to have lowered her guard, slowly walked to Reina's side, sat down and asked.
“It’s a pirate crew! The captain is a very powerful guy, but as a pirate, he doesn’t want to rob treasure or conquer the world. All he thinks about is having a family. So now he’s sailing the seas and bringing children like you who have no family onto his ship, so you can become his family!” Reina said with a slight smile.
"There are pirates like that?" Olga asked, looking intrigued.
"Yeah, yeah... It's weird, isn't it? Let me tell you..."
So the two of them sat there, eating dinosaur meat and chatting, until they had finished all the dinosaur meat, and then they lay down on the ground, not wanting to move at all.
"Thank you... It's been so long since anyone has chatted with me like this!" Olga said suddenly, her back to Reina.
“It’s fate that we met here… Can you tell me about yourself?” Reina said with a smile.
He seemed to know where he was. He vaguely remembered that the little girl had left this place in the future, met Luffy, and then returned here with Luffy to search for something.
That thing is the reason why the little girl could live for more than 170 years and still look like a child.
However, Reina had no intention of taking that thing. He was willing to talk to the other person and comfort him only because he felt sorry for him.
"Beep... Insufficient working hours for today, check-in failed!"
Just then, a system voice suddenly sounded in Reina's mind, reminding him that he had failed to sign in today.
Reina's face paled. His consecutive sign-in attempts had finally been interrupted by Zefa! Last time, Zefa almost interrupted his consecutive sign-in attempts, and he didn't expect it to be interrupted by Zefa again this time.
“Zeffa…I’m your sworn enemy!” Reina suddenly sat up and shouted.
"Who is Zephyr?" Olga was startled by Reina. He didn't understand what was wrong with Reina all of a sudden.
“A bastard who got me into this mess!” Reina said helplessly.
He knew that saying anything now was pointless; the best solution was to leave as soon as possible.
After recalling some plot points from the original story, Reina remembered how to get out; it seemed that he would need to rely on the giant lanternfish defecating to do so.
Chapter 36 Alkemi
"So, your father developed pure gold, which not only caused your mother's early death but also attracted a giant lanternfish that swallowed your hometown whole?" Reina and Olga said as they made their way across the island.
Olga has already told Reina why he's here.
Recalling the plot, Reina vaguely remembered that her father's purpose in developing pure gold seemed to be for her, so there was a misunderstanding between the father and daughter, and it wasn't as Olga said, that her father was just a mad scientist.
Moreover, it seems that his father was also inside the lanternfish's belly. The two had lived in the same place for over 170 years, yet they had never met, which surprised Reina somewhat.
However, since he had remembered, Reina didn't mind resolving the small conflict between father and daughter, so he made up an excuse and had Olga take him around the island.
"By the way, since you said lanternfish have three stomachs, how did you get here from the third stomach? This stomach acid doesn't seem like something you can handle, does it?" Reina asked curiously, looking at the greenish-yellow stomach acid around him.
"Hehehe... Look at her! Elizabeth!" Olga shouted with a laugh.
At Olga's call, a bipedal lizard, which walks like a human, suddenly appeared out of nowhere and came right up to Olga, seemingly very close to her.
"Elizabeth is a water lizard, she can run on water, and her feet can temporarily resist stomach acid!" Olga explained before Reina could ask.
"This is so cool!" Reina's eyes lit up, and he said with a hint of longing.
If you had a pet like that, wouldn't you be able to move freely on the sea? It would be even more convenient than a ship!
"Right? I think it's cool too!" Olga seemed oblivious to the meaning behind Reina's words and said with a smile.
“Um… Olga? How did you become friends with Elizabeth? Are there any water lizards like this here? Can I have one too?” Reina asked with a slightly ingratiating tone.
"Huh? You want Elizabeth too?" Olga asked in surprise.
"I don't want your Elizabeth! I'm asking if there are any other aquatic lizards? Could you get me one too?"
"Oh, I see~ There are quite a few aquatic lizards here, but when I met Elizabeth, I gave her a piece of fruit, and we became friends after that!" Olga blinked and said.
"Huh? You were bribed with just a piece of fruit? Looks like it's not that hard!" Reina said, stroking his chin.
So their next goal changed from finding Olga's father to finding a water lizard, but after searching the entire island, they didn't find a second water lizard.
"Looks like there aren't any more islands here. Let's head straight to the next one!" Reina said somewhat dejectedly.
"Let's go then, I'll have Elizabeth take the two of us!" Olga said nonchalantly.
With Elizabeth's help, the two arrived at the second island, but apart from dinosaurs, they found no water lizards, nor Olga's father.
Left with no other choice, they continued on to the third island.
"Is this your hometown, Alkemi?" Reina asked softly, looking at the dilapidated buildings before him.
"Hmm!" Olga seemed to have become even more silent since arriving here.
“Olga… have you ever thought… that your father… might still be alive?” After a moment’s thought, Reina asked in a low voice.
"Huh? That bastard father? Impossible, humans can't live that long! And... and back then..." Olga seemed lost in memories.
Although more than 170 years have passed, her memories of that time remain vivid.
"Sigh... Let's go in and take a look!" Reina patted Olga's head and said.
Led by Olga, they quickly found an entrance, where Reina noticed something written on it.
"Anyone who ventures into this place in search of glittering gold will pay with their life! My name is Mischna Asie!"
Reina looked at the words above and said softly.
"Huh? Mischna Assie?" Olga asked in surprise upon hearing Reina's words.
"Huh? What's wrong? Do you know her?" Reina turned his head and looked at Olga.
"What do you mean 'know him'? He's my bastard father who created pure gold!" Olga said with an unfriendly expression.
She still couldn't forgive Mischna Asie for creating pure gold.
Reina shrugged indifferently and continued on with Olga.
Meanwhile, in a dinosaur nest on the first island, a dinosaur that looks different from ordinary baby dinosaurs is competing with baby dinosaurs for the food brought back by the adult dinosaurs.
"Meat again...meat again...I really want to eat vegetables!" The dinosaur opened its mouth, revealing a chubby face, eating its food while tears streamed down its face.
He was Olga's father, Mischna Asie!
Just then, he seemed to sense something, looked up at the location of the third island, and muttered, "Who is it? Who entered my research lab?"
Back with Reina and Olga, after passing through a long tunnel, they arrived at a large hall where a piano was placed.
Next to the piano, there was also a stone slab with writing on it.
"Only those who play music correctly and have pure hearts can approach the shining gold!"
"Looks like I need to play a piece! But... I'm not here to find some pure gold, I'm just here to find a water lizard!" Reina said, rubbing his head somewhat reluctantly.
"Want to give it a try? Didn't you say that the reason I've lived this long is probably because of the pure gold? Now that we're here, don't you want to have some?" Olga suddenly urged Reina to give it a try.
"No! Who knows if this stuff has any side effects? What if I get some strange disease? That would be terrible! Let's not do it!" Reina shook his head and said.
"Damn it... that's pure gold enough to buy the whole world! It's an unparalleled treasure! Don't you want it?"
"If you want it so badly, then go get it yourself!"
Reina shrugged. He had no intention of taking it anyway; it was better not to touch metal of unknown origin.
“I can’t play, my mom can!” Olga said through gritted teeth.
“You’re being strange, aren’t you? Didn’t you say you hated pure gold? It was because of it that your father became a research fanatic and your mother died young! Why do you still want it now?” Reina turned his head and asked calmly.
"I...I just..." Olga was a little confused. Right, why did she suddenly want to get pure gold? Wasn't pure gold the thing she hated the most?
"Hehe...what a hypocrite!" Reina slowly walked to the piano, plopped down, and carefully looked through the sheet music.
"Sorry, it seems we can't get through this!" Reina sighed and said.
"Why?" Olga asked in surprise.
“Look, a part of the piece is missing. I have no ability to complete it. Moreover, if it is played incorrectly, it should trigger some kind of mechanism!” Reina said, pointing to the missing part of the sheet music in front of him.
"Really? Then forget it!" Olga suddenly replied, sounding somewhat disheartened.
“It’s a lullaby, a beautiful piece of music, it’s a pity it’s missing!” Reina shook his head regretfully and said.
"Hmm? A lullaby?" Olga was taken aback, looked at the sheet music on the piano, and suddenly lowered her head to ask Reina, "Could...could you please play it for me?"
“Play it? There’s no complete sheet music. If I play it, I might trigger a mechanism!” Reina said, looking at Olga.
"Sorry, I was just being too willful!" Olga said with a wry smile.
“Step back a bit. If there really is some kind of trap, I might not be able to protect you in time!” Reina shook his head helplessly and said.
He sensed that Olga didn't intend to harm him; she simply wanted to confirm the piece for some reason.
Once he saw that Olga was far away, Reina began to play the piece according to the score.
He possesses F-level musician skills, so playing according to the sheet music is not a problem. Although this peacock violin is somewhat different from an ordinary piano, Reina still managed to play the general melody.
"This piece of music...is it really like this? A kind laugh~~ A hearty laugh~~ Your lovely smile~~ A heart of silver and a heart of gold~~ I give you everything~~ Alkemi~~ Alkema~~ Holding a golden star~~ Alkemi~~ Alkema~~ drifting off to sleep~~"
