Pirates on Rocks' Ship 996

"Huh?" Sabo was completely confused and didn't understand what Reina meant, but seeing that Reina and Robin had already started boarding the ship, he had no choice but to follow.
"Hey~ Reina's back? Didn't you find any good treasures on this trip?" Lacjoo teased Reina as soon as he saw him.
"I didn't get anything particularly good, but King Neptune of Fishman Island gave me a chest of pearls, each one the size of a fist..." Reina raised an eyebrow and said happily, "But as you know, I use these for medicine, so..."
"So you're planning to give it to me?" Laqué's eyes lit up as he asked.
"What are you dreaming about? I'll definitely give it to Robin!" Reina said with a smile, pointing at Robin who had come up behind him.
"Tsk~~ If I had known Robin was coming back with you, I wouldn't have come to pick you up! Little Robin...long time no see...this is...your boyfriend? Reina didn't kill him? What a lucky guy!" After greeting Robin, Laco saw Sabo who came up with her and immediately misunderstood.
“If you keep nagging… I’ll have Liu Liu take you to play in the windless zone!” Reina said with a slight smirk.
It's unclear whether it's because his understanding with Liuliu has grown or because his proficiency in psychic magic has increased, but now, when Reina summons Liuliu, if someone is on Liuliu, he can send both Liuliu and that person away when he dispels the psychic spell.
This discovery delighted Reina; it was like gaining an instant teleportation skill!
Unfortunately, this tactic wouldn't work on Reina himself. However, Reina could send Liuliu to a certain place beforehand and then send a large number of Whitebeard Pirates there to launch a surprise attack.
"Where's Ace? Have you seen him?" Reina asked as he watched Lacjo leave.
"Ace? I don't know, he seems to be with Jozu! That kid's been working on something with Jozu lately, all mysterious... Do you need to see him?" Laco asked curiously.
“It wasn’t me, it was this guy who contacted him!” Reina pointed at Sabo and replied.
"Huh?? Is he Ace's friend?" Laco asked curiously, taken aback.
Because he saw that Sabo also looked blank, as if he didn't recognize Ace.
"So hearing the name isn't enough? Come with me... I'll take you to Ace!" Reina said with a slight smile.
Lakyo raised an eyebrow; his sixth sense told him... there was some juicy gossip to come.
Reina completely ignored Lacou, who was following behind him, because the commotion was bound to be big, and everyone on the ship would know, so there was no need to chase him away.
Soon, the group arrived at the ship's wheel, where Ace and Jozu were fiddling with something.
"Ace!" Reina called softly.
"Huh? Mr. Reina! When did you get back?!" Ace looked up and saw Reina smiling at him.
“That’s not important, what’s important is…look who this is!” Reina said, stepping aside to let Ace see Sabo.
Meanwhile, Sabo's body began to tremble slowly when he saw Ace, as if some images were flashing through his mind.
"You are... Sabo?" Ace looked at Sabo carefully. Although Sabo's face was burned, Sabo's appearance was exactly the same as when he was a child. So when Ace recognized Sabo, he could no longer suppress the surprise on his face.
"Bang!" The thing in Ace's hand instantly burst into flames, a sign that he couldn't control the power of the Devil Fruit within him.
Jozu, standing to the side, twitched his lips... The thing Ace had just held in his hand was the result of their long-term research, and it was gone just like that.
"Who are you...? Why... why do I feel like I know you...? My head hurts!" Sabo's head started to ache when he saw Ace, so he didn't hear Ace's voice or see Ace's surprised expression.
"Sabo? Is that you? Is it really you? What happened to you?" Seeing Sabo in pain, Ace immediately stepped forward, hugged Sabo tightly, and then looked at Reina, asking, "Mr. Reina, what happened to Sabo? Please help him!"
"Don't worry, he's fine! He's not that fragile! Take him back to your room and let him rest for a while! You two can have a good talk later! Sabo has amnesia now, so he doesn't recognize you, but seeing you should have triggered some memories in his mind, which is why he's going through this painful process!" Reina said with a smile.
"Yes, I understand! This time... I will take good care of him!" Ace clenched his fist, picked up the unconscious Sabo, and headed straight for the cabin.
"Tch~ That's it?" Lacjou looked very disappointed when he didn't see what he wanted to see.
Chapter 448 Kaido's Abnormality
Inside the cabin of the Moby Dick, after placing Sabo on his bed, Ace fetched a glass of water and then wiped the sweat from Sabo's forehead.
Looking at the burns on his face, Ace recalled things from his childhood.
Sabo, who was the first to set sail, encountered the Celestial Dragons who came to the Kingdom of Gol on the day he set sail, and as a result, his entire ship was sunk by the Celestial Dragons.
Ace and Luffy, who were his companions, witnessed this scene. They thought Sabo had died, but they never expected to see him again today. So, not only Sabo, but even Ace still feels a dreamlike uncertainty.
"Ace?" Just as Ace was reminiscing about the past, Sabo, who had regained consciousness, called out to him.
"Sabo! You're awake? Are you alright? Mr. Reina said you had amnesia? What happened? Where have you been all these years?" Ace asked hurriedly upon seeing Sabo regain consciousness.
"Hoo~" Sabo took a deep breath. His mind was still a bit messy, and most of what he remembered was fragmented and couldn't be pieced together. However, he was certain that he had seen Ace before, when he was a child.
“I have amnesia, I can’t remember anything from before!” Sabo shook his head and said.
"Is that so? That makes sense. After all, you were attacked like that. It was lucky you survived!" Ace sighed and replied.
"What exactly happened back then?" Sabo asked Ace.
"Back then..." Ace recounted his experiences with Sabo and Luffy, and then talked about his voyage to sea.
After informing him and Luffy of the news, he felt that he could no longer return home, so he chose to go to sea alone. As a result, he encountered the Celestial Dragons, was bombarded, and his ship was destroyed and he died.
As Ace recounted his story, Sabo also reminisced, recalling every little detail from the past.
"Ace... I never imagined... you'd be a captain in the Whitebeard Pirates now!" Sabo said with tears in his eyes and a smile, "It's so good to have met you!"
"Of course..." Ace nodded with emotion and said, "Thank you... for not dying! If Luffy knew, I don't know how happy he would be!"
“Speaking of Luffy…where is he now?” Sabo asked with a smile.
“Him? I heard from Mr. Reina that he’s training with Mr. Rayleigh right now! Let me tell you! That kid is no pushover…” Ace perked up immediately when talking about their mutual brother.
The two brothers stayed in the cabin for most of the day, and if Laco hadn't come to call them later, they probably would have continued chatting.
"Come on, Sabo! I'll take you to meet the old man. I think he's the greatest pirate, bar none!" Recalling Sabo's dream back then, Ace thought that Sabo was a pirate now, but that Reina just happened to meet him.
Sabo smiled slightly, said nothing, and followed Ace toward the deck.
"Dad...Dad...Let me introduce you! This is my brother! His name is Sabo, we even drank sworn brotherhood wine!" Upon arriving on the deck and seeing everyone there, Ace immediately shouted to Whitebeard with a big laugh.
"Gurararara... Is that so? Let me see!" the white-bearded man said with a smile.
In fact, they had already heard Reina recount Ace and Sabo's story from outside.
"Greetings, Whitebeard! I am Sabo, Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, and also Ace's brother!" Sabo took off his top hat and bowed to Whitebeard.
Regardless of Whitebeard's status or his role as captain of his brother Ace's crew, he deserves Sabo's respect.
"Gurararara... So you're the Revolutionary Army's second-in-command? I've heard you're quite capable!" Whitebeard wasn't surprised at all; Reina had already told him that before.
"Hehe... Compared to the members of the Whitebeard Pirates, I'm nothing!" Sabo waved his hand and said.
Ace, standing to the side, looked at his childhood brother in surprise. He never expected that his brother had become the second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army. When Reyner and Whitebeard talked about the Revolutionary Army last time, he gave him a very high evaluation.
"You're actually a member of the Revolutionary Army?" Ace asked Sabo in surprise.
They only talked about their childhood, not their current situation, so Ace really doesn't know.
"Yes! The one who saved me back then is now the leader of the Revolutionary Army!" Sabo nodded with a smile and said, "So... I'm not a pirate!"
"Hahaha... It's alright! No matter who you are, you're my brother, Ace, that's for sure!" Ace patted Sabo on the shoulder and said with a smile.
“Yes!” Sabo nodded and replied firmly.
The rest of the crew looked at Sabo with friendly eyes; he was Ace's brother, so he was their friend.
"Alright, have you regained your memories now?" Reina asked Sabo after seeing that the two brothers had recognized each other.
“Yes, I’ve fully recovered. Thank you, Mr. Reina!” Sabo nodded and bowed to Reina.
"Alright, relationships aside... how do you plan to settle the matter of you bringing Robin to your place and forcing her to work?" Reina smiled slightly and asked Sabo.
“This…” Sabo wanted to say, wasn’t this matter resolved back then? Why bring it up again?
Before he could finish speaking, Ace tugged at his clothes and whispered, "Listen to what the first mate says, don't make him angry!"
Sabo nodded, just about to ask Reina how he wanted to solve the problem, but someone else was faster than him.
“Mr. Reina, wasn’t this already cleared up back in Baltimore? Why are you bringing this up with Sabo now?” Kella, who had been sitting in the corner, finally found an opportunity to speak up.
"Oh no!" Ace knew something bad was about to happen as soon as he heard that.
Reina's words were partly a joke, and partly a way of showing his closeness to Sabo. That's why he told Sabo not to explain and to just ask Reina what he wanted, as a way of saving face for Reina.
However, Kella's words immediately put Reina in an awkward position, and Sabo could no longer receive the goodwill he had shown.
As expected, Ace saw Reina's expression change, then nodded and remained silent.
However, Sabo chuckled and said, "Mr. Reina, you jest. We didn't know Robin was your daughter before, otherwise we certainly wouldn't have made her work so hard. But as you know, our Revolutionary Army isn't wealthy either, so..."
"Hahaha...Alright, it's good that you have the intention!" Reina laughed and shook his head, not saying anything more.
But Ace knew that Reina would definitely not give the Revolutionary Army a friendly look next time, because his pettiness was well-known on the ship.
Meanwhile, Kella seemed to realize that she had caused trouble, stuck out her tongue, and stood behind Sabo without saying a word.
Sabo patted her on the shoulder, telling her not to worry, as his partner, he could handle this.
After introducing Sabo to the captains on the ship, Sachi graciously arranged a banquet to welcome Sabo's arrival.
After the banquet, Ace and Sabo had to part ways. There were many things to do on the Revolutionary Army's side, and as the Chief of Staff, Sabo was also quite important.
So the two brothers had just recognized each other, but had to part again, only promising to drink together when they met again.
After seeing Sabo and the others off, the Moby Dick continued its journey, with Robin accompanying Reina this time.
Originally, she didn't want to come because Luffy would definitely be going to venture into the New World later, and what she was doing was already far ahead of its time.
However, neither Whitebeard nor Reyner would let her leave, so she had no choice but to go on an adventure with the Moby Dick.
"Big brother, what's the outcome of what happened with Kaido and Shanks?" In the evening, Reina found some free time and sat down next to Whitebeard to ask.
During his time on Fishman Island, Shanks' conquest of the Beast Pirates' island had already concluded.
However, he came back just in time for Sabo's incident, so he didn't have time to ask.
“Kaido… didn’t show up!” Whitebeard shook his head and said.
"Huh? He didn't even show up? How could he be so disrespectful to Shanks? Shanks was waiting for him on the island, after all!" Reina asked in surprise.
"Yes, even among the three great leaders, only the reckless Jack showed up. He didn't say more than a few words before he started fighting Shanks and was immediately sunk to the bottom of the sea by Shanks!" Whitebeard nodded and said.
He was also quite frustrated. He had originally planned to seize the opportunity to help Shanks, but Kaido was too unhelpful, so he sent that idiot Jack instead.
"Didn't the navy send anyone over?" Reina asked after thinking for a moment.
"That idiot Jack... do you think he can wait until the Navy shows up? I bet before they even arrive, Jack will have already been sunk to the bottom of the sea by that Shanks kid!" Whitebeard said with dissatisfaction.
Reina's face darkened. What kind of mess was this? It started strong but ended weakly.
"So Shanks just left like that?" Reina asked, somewhat incredulous.
