"Really? You think so too? Can you tell me more about the outside world?" Carrot asked happily.

“Of course!” Ace said with a smile.

So the two walked and talked until they arrived at the city hall.

"Yo~ Ace, you're here? Come on in!" Reina, who had just finished explaining to Nekomamushi and Inuarashi, saw Carrot bring Ace in.

“First mate!” Ace nodded to Reina, then looked at the Mink Tribe members inside the city hall with some curiosity.

"Let me introduce you. These two are the current leaders of the Mink Tribe, Duke Inuarashi and Boss Nekomamushi. You can call them that!" Reina pointed to Inuarashi and Nekomamushi and introduced them to Ace.

Inuarashi and Nekomamushi both nodded to Ace as a greeting.

"As for him! He's the captain of our ship's second division, Fire Fist Ace!" Reina then pointed to Ace and introduced him to the two of them.

"Hmm?" Inuarashi and Nekomamushi both looked at Ace with some surprise.

"You're Fire Fist Ace?" Inuarashi asked softly after carefully examining Ace.

Ace nodded and replied, "Yes!"

"I never expected that Captain Roger would do this after disbanding his pirate crew!" Inuarashi exclaimed.

Upon hearing his father Roger's name, Ace's eyes immediately narrowed as he looked at Inuarashi and asked, "Were you on his ship back then?"

“Ah Cat and Ah Dog, like Izo, all boarded the ship with Oden back then! Later, Roger asked Oden to translate ancient texts, so he borrowed Oden from Big Brother! Ah Cat and Ah Dog also went with Oden to Roger's ship, only Izo stayed behind!” Reina nodded and explained to Ace.

“That’s right. Back then, we followed Lord Oden onto your father’s ship. He was a great man!” Nekomamushi nodded and said.

"Hmph!" Ace snorted coldly and replied, "I only have one father, and that is Whitebeard!"

Upon hearing this, Nekomamushi and Inuarashi exchanged glances and suddenly burst into laughter.

Having reached the final island, they naturally knew Roger's regret for leaving too early. So when they parted, Roger had said that perhaps his son would be the one to go to the final island again in the future.

But now it seems Roger is going to be disappointed.

"Pfft, hahaha... How about that? I told you, Ace didn't inherit Roger's will, did he!" Reina clapped his hands happily and laughed as he spoke.

"It seems so! If Captain Roger knew, he would definitely say... there was nothing that could be done about it! Who told him to die so young?" Inuarashi wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes and said with a smile.

Both Roger and Oden were first-rate heroes back then, but unfortunately they died young. Otherwise, the seas would certainly not be so peaceful now.

"You still want to avenge Oden?" After a moment of silence, Reina asked.

"Of course, as our lord's guards, we will never forget Lord Oden's grudge! Now we are just waiting for that day to come!" It was clear that Inuarashi and Nekomamushi also knew about what Tenshi had said back then.

"Then you just wait! It won't be long! What you've been waiting for... will appear soon!" Reina said with a smile.

"Hehe... Did the first mate see something?" Inuarashi pushed up his glasses and asked.

“Of course! Just wait patiently! When the time comes, that guy… you’ll be in for a surprise!” Reina said with a laugh. “By the way, what about that little Pedro?”

“Hehe… Pedro is now the leader of the Knights of the Sea, in charge of guarding the Whale Forest, so he didn’t come. First mate… do you need to see him?” Cat Viper asked with a smile.

"Nothing's wrong, but I haven't seen him in a long time. It's rare for him to come all this way, so I asked him before I saw him!" Reina said with a smile.

"Ah! He's my right-hand man now! It seems like just yesterday he was following the first mate around!" Cat Viper said with a smile.

"Really? I was planning to take her to Xuan Yue Island, but it seems he can't get away! Alright, then arrange for a few people to come back with me!" Reina nodded and replied.

"Is the first mate leaving already? Aren't you going to stay a few more days?" Inuarashi asked in surprise.

"You really want me to leave?" Reina asked, his face darkening.

"This... of course not, I just wanted to keep you here a few more days," Inuarashi quickly said with a smile.

"I won't need it for a few days, but I definitely won't be leaving tonight, so get me a place to stay!" Reina replied with a smile, "If I stay any longer, I reckon you'll get tired of me!"

"How is that possible? We'd be more than happy to welcome you! Inuarashi, I'm leaving the task of arranging accommodations for the first mate to you!" Nekomamushi commanded Duke Inuarashi.

"Why should you give me orders? I'll make the arrangements for the first mate myself, you don't need to say anything!" Duke Inuarashi usually had a very good personality, but once he spoke to Nekomamushi, his tone immediately changed, making it seem like the two of them had some deep-seated grudge.

"It's daytime now, so I won't let you make the arrangements. Fine... leave it to me, and you go to sleep!" The cat viper showed no respect for Inuarashi and roared at him.

"You bastard! Woof! Woof!" Enraged, Inuarashi barked twice at Nekomamushi, leaving Reina completely bewildered. Weren't the Mink Tribe supposed to be human, not animals? What was the meaning of those two barks?

Not to be outdone, the cat viper and the two were about to fight again when their respective mink tribesmen quickly came out to separate them. It was only with great difficulty that they managed to separate the two.

"Now I know why you guys always bring guards when you go out. They're not there to protect you, but specifically to persuade you!" Reina shook his head and sighed. "Alright, Little Cat, you should go back to sleep too. I don't need many. Just give me two each!"

"Hmph! I'll let it slide for the sake of the vice-captain! Let's go!" Upon hearing this, Nekomamushi immediately led his band of knights away, leaving only Inuarashi behind, and the atmosphere became much more harmonious.

“You’re busy with your own things, so I won’t bother you any longer. Wanda, why don’t you and that little bunny take us out for a walk?” Reina said, getting up after chatting with Inuarashi for a while.

"Alright, Wanda, Carrot, you two take First Mate Reina around! Don't go to that stupid cat's place, it'll only be a downer!" Inuarashi nodded and instructed Wanda and Carrot.

“Yes, Your Grace!” Wang Da and Garrot stepped forward and bowed.

After Reina and the others left, Inuarashi turned to the members of the Musketeer Squad behind him and said, "Go and tell Nekomamushi, whatever you do, don't let the first mate see Pedro, or something terrible will happen!"

"Huh? Why, Your Grace?" a member of the musketeer team asked, puzzled.

“You don’t know, the first mate is extremely petty and fiercely protective of his own! He used to have a good relationship with Pedro and even mentored him for a while. Pedro always treated the first mate with the utmost respect! But now Pedro has returned from his voyage with an eye missing and his lifespan significantly reduced! If the first mate finds out, it will be disastrous!” Duke Inuarashi shook his head, speaking with some concern.

"Why...why not let Lord Reina go and avenge Pedro?" the members of the Musketeers asked in surprise.

In their eyes, having someone stand up for them is a good thing, isn't it? Why does Duke Inuarashi look so wary?

“You should know who attacked Pedro, right? If the vice-captain finds out that Big Mom attacked Pedro so severely, he will definitely go after Big Mom. It might even turn into a war between the Four Emperors. We can’t be so selfish! That’s why that stupid cat asked me to arrange the vice-captain!” Duke Inuarashi shook his head and said.

Chapter 467 Ace's Doubts

"Ace... are you really the son of the legendary Pirate King, Roger? What kind of person was your father?" Carrot asked Ace with curiosity as they walked through the Mink Tribe's city.

“Yes! But he was executed before I was born, so like you, I don’t know what kind of person he was!” Ace shook his head and replied.

Now, Ace has become much more indifferent to Roger's affairs. If someone had asked him that question before, he would never have answered.

"Huh? I'm sorry, I didn't know!" Carrot was taken aback and said apologetically.

"It's okay, he is him, and I am me! I am different from him!" Ace waved his hand and said.

Seeing Ace and Carrot chatting and laughing, Reina's lips unconsciously curled up. This little guy had finally stepped out of the shadow he had set for himself.

“Mr. Reina, there’s a very famous restaurant up ahead. Would you like to go and have a bite?” Wanda asked Reina with a smile, pointing to the restaurant not far ahead.

“Okay, you can arrange it!” Reina nodded and said.

So the four of them went into the restaurant to have dinner.

"Let's go check out the Whale Forest over there!" Reina said softly as they left the restaurant, looking at the large tree that resembled a whale's tail.

"This... His Excellency the Duke said we shouldn't go!" Before Wanda could even speak, Carrot said with a troubled expression.

"Don't worry! Nekomamushi only goes against Inuarashi. He won't have any objections if I go!" Reina said with a smile, waving his hand.

Wanda chuckled, nodded, and said, "The Cat Viper boss is actually a very nice person. Don't let his fierce appearance fool you; apart from the Duke, he's not that scary!"

"Really? But shouldn't they be good friends? They were sailing partners before!" Ace asked, puzzled.

"This issue...we have to start with their master, Kozuki Oden!" Reina said after thinking for a moment, as they walked, "They did have a good relationship back then, but Oden was later killed by Kaido..."

“I see… But after all these years, do they still have the ability to take revenge? Kaido is not so easy to deal with!” Ace listened to Reina’s story and remained silent for a while before speaking.

“Of course!” Reina nodded and said, “By the way, you went to Wano Country back then, right?”

"Yeah! I did go to Wano Country before I joined the Whitebeard Pirates, but when I wanted to go again, my father wouldn't let me!" Ace said, somewhat frustrated.

“Now is definitely not the time for you to go. Wait a little longer! I will let you know when the time is right! Wano Country... that land does not belong to that guy Kaido!” Reina said, squinting his eyes.

He hadn't forgotten the grudge from back then. Although he had tricked the Beasts Pirates on the Grand Tesoro, the ship of the Golden Emperor Gild Tesoro, and had also taught the three members of the Beasts Pirates a lesson, he wasn't confident about facing Kaido... to be honest.

Of the Four Emperors, he dislikes Kaido the most because of his superhuman physique, as Reina is the opposite of Kaido, and is least adept at prolonged battles.

He had considered taking the Whitebeard Pirates to find Kaido, but Oden was already dead, so starting another war between the Four Emperors would be pointless. Moreover, the Big Mom Pirates were always watching from the sidelines, which made them afraid to fight with all their might.

So the matter was gradually delayed.

As they talked, they walked toward the Whale Forest. Although Carrot wasn't very willing, she didn't object anymore since Wanda didn't say much.

However, not long after entering the Whale Forest, Reina discovered that the Mink Tribe had spotted them and, instead of coming out to greet them, turned and ran away.

“What are they…” Reina asked Wanda in surprise, pointing at the Mink tribe who were running towards the center of the forest without turning their heads.

"They probably knew we were coming, so they went to inform Boss Cat Viper!" Wanda said with a chuckle.

"What's the point of announcing this? He'll know once we get there," Reina said dismissively.

"What?" At this moment, in the heart of the forest, Cat Viper was stunned upon hearing his subordinate's report. He asked, "You said the first mate is coming this way? I knew it, that stupid dog is useless, he can't even handle this little thing! Where's Pedro? Is he hiding well? Never mind, tell him not to come out without my orders! Let's go, let's go meet the first mate!"

Soon, before Reina even reached the center of the forest, he saw Cat Viper leading a group of Mink Tribe members to greet him.

"Little cat, what brings you here?" Reina asked with a smile when he saw the cat viper.

"Why doesn't the first mate go to the city? What are you doing running into the forest?" Cat Viper said with a laugh. "There's nothing fun to do here!"

“I’m not here to play around, I want to see that thing!” Reina said with a slight smile.

He sensed something was amiss, but couldn't pinpoint what it was. So he decided to test the waters. After speaking, he simply smiled and stared at the cat viper without saying a word.

"First mate, why are you looking at me like that? That thing can't be known by too many people, so let them all stay here! I'll take you there!" Cat Viper said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Why are you so nervous? I didn't say anything else!" Reina stepped forward, stood in front of the cat viper, and asked.

“Nervous…? No, I’m not nervous at all!” The cat viper took a step back and said with a chuckle.

"Is that so? Look into my eyes!" Reina smiled slightly and activated his three-tomoe Sharingan.

Upon seeing Reina's eyes transform into Sharingan, Nekomamushi immediately closed his eyes and retreated, looking as if he dared not look at him at all.

"Heh... Still saying no?" Reina smiled slightly and closed his Sharingan.

In reality, his Sharingan doesn't have the effect of hypnosis or seeing through people's minds, but since he's famous, and if you keep staring at someone with the Sharingan, it does give you a captivating illusion, which is why people have this misunderstanding.

Aside from Nekomamushi and the Star Guardians, Wanda, Carrot, and Ace were completely bewildered, having no idea what had happened.

"First mate, to be honest with you, this is our own business, and we really don't want you to know, so... I'll take you to find the road sign text instead!" Cat Viper said with a troubled expression.

"The Road Sign Text?" Upon hearing Nekomamushi's words, Ace was immediately shocked and looked at Nekomamushi in disbelief.

He knew that to reach the final island, he needed to possess the four Road Poneglyphs, but he didn't know where they were located. He had only heard Marco and the others mention that Reina possessed rubbings of the four Road Poneglyphs, and that there was a red Road Poneglyph on Crescent Island.

But little did they know that such an important road sign text was actually displayed here.

"Forget it, I can't be bothered with you! Let's go, I'll go check on something first. Ace, you come with me too!" After staring at the cat viper for a while and seeing that it was no longer dodging, Reina chuckled, shook his head, and said.
