Completely bewildered, he drank it all in one gulp.

"Now can you tell me what's in this drink? I've never tasted anything so strange—but then again, it tastes good after a while, and it gives you a strange kind of excitement..."

"My blood and hers were added to the drink." Kaori's smile grew increasingly eerie.

"Huh? What does that mean—" His bewildered voice abruptly stopped, because he saw inside the wine glass, the black threads intertwined and coalesced, actually beginning to burn like flames...

The wine glass reflected someone's cold pupils, carrying a cruel yet naive mockery.

He looked down and suddenly discovered that a blood-red flower had bloomed on his chest, and a black shadow emerged from his body—a black hand that seemed to belong to a woman.

Taisei Nishizawa had imagined his own death countless times in his novels and poems, but he never imagined that death would visit him in such a concrete form, at such a sudden moment, and in such a manner.

The image of death is that of a young girl who returns to the world of the living from the realm of the dead.

"Black matter...the Order wants to kill me?" Countless black thorns pierced his chest, blooming recklessly on his body, suspending him high in the air. Finally, he saw in utter horror that a nearly naked woman, her body wrapped in black matter, emerged from his chest.

“Yukise…?” He said the name in disbelief. He had been certain that he would never see her again. What he could not have, he would destroy with his own hands. But now she had crawled back from the abyss of death to find him.

"Hello, teacher, I'm back. Are you surprised?" Nakamura Yukase emerged from Nishizawa's body with her upper body and gave Nishizawa Daisei a sweet smile. She reached out a hand and stroked Nishizawa's completely frozen profile, like the most intimate lover.

“I have died, but the saint has given me a new life. Now I will follow the saint to climb to higher places, but there are still some evil deeds from the past that must be dealt with.”

Nishizawa Daisei tried to activate the Black Matter, but found that it did not respond to his call at all. A more powerful influence had already suppressed his entire body, making him unable to move. He could only watch helplessly as his life rapidly slipped away. Watching death approach step by step was so intense that it almost drove him mad.

He was astonished to find that Nakamura Yukise, who had always followed him, now exuded an unmistakable aura of the Third Class, just like the Lion Class figures he had faced directly within the Order in the past.

What terrified him even more was that Nakamura Yukise's body was now entirely composed of black matter. What had happened to her?

"Teacher Nishizawa, am I prettier than before?" Nishizawa couldn't imagine how Nakamura Yukise's body had been inserted into his body. Just before Nakamura Yukise's almost translucent body hit the ground, Kaori, who was sitting across the table, also stood up unsteadily.

"The reason we've become more beautiful is because we're all dead, you know?" Kaori smiled as her head fell off her neck without warning. From the severed neck, countless thorn-like black substances gushed out, like black, blooming flowers.

Nakamura Yukise caught Kaori's smiling head and gently held it in her arms, as if she were giving Nakamura a Christmas present.

A near-desperate fear gripped Xize's heart. Xize wanted to scream, but the black, barbed thorns had already wrapped around his entire body.

“She was screaming too loudly and even tried to call the police. I wanted to coexist peacefully with her. I’m so sorry,” Nakamura Yukise said sadly, holding Kaori’s head in her hands. Although she was apologizing to Nishizawa Taisei, he couldn’t see any remorse in her. “I only found out after I killed her. Unfortunately, innocent people were also affected…”

With a casual toss, Kaori's smiling head sank into the dark lake and vanished without a trace.

What he saw next nearly drove Nishizawa Daisei to the brink of collapse.

"Wow—" From the black mass spreading from Nakamura's feet, an infant covered in black matter crawled out with a venomous look on its face. Its cold little hands grabbed his ankles. He looked at the venomous infant in fear. Half of it looked like some kind of scaly amphibian with beast-like claws and crystal wings. The other half vaguely resembled a human, but it was only the size of a hand. The umbilical cord on its belly was connected to a black thread that went all the way to the back of Nakamura's head. It was actually her hair.

Nakamura grasped the thin, long black hair and gently lifted the black infant. The infant's body disintegrated into black matter, which then re-integrated into Nakamura Yukise's body.

“How interesting. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a baby mutated like this. It took me quite a while to kill it,” Yukise said with a light laugh. “Teacher, you and Kaori were able to give birth to something like this together. It seems that you two were completely corrupted from a very early age.”

“You took everything from me, but for some reason, I can’t feel anything.” Nishizawa’s voice was hoarse. He realized that he wasn’t as sad and desperate as he had imagined. He looked at Nakamura Yukise’s face, which was so close to his. Not long ago, she was his beautiful lover, but now she had become a deadly grim reaper.

"Teacher, why did you lie to me? So many promises, comforts, and dreams... it turns out they were all lies." Nakamura Yukise asked innocently, her hands behind her back, tilting her head.

"I was just playing along with you. Being deceived is just part of growing up. We will all pay the price for our mistakes." He laughed somewhat neurotically.

“I was just playing around, but now I’ve chosen a ‘game’ that’s even more fun,” Nakamura said with a cruel smile. “I’m sorry that innocent people have been affected, but teacher, it’s all your fault.”

“In the pursuit of my desires, I unknowingly became a monster,” Nishizawa said, looking down at the black mass piercing through his body, where countless white worms crawled. “But it’s a pity, Yukise, you’ve become a monster in the process of seeking revenge.”

“This is great, this is really interesting! Hahaha, because only among monsters can there be such twisted stories!” Caesar raised his head and grinned, his whole body covered in black substance and red blood.

“I’m already dead. Isn’t it normal to become a monster after death? I have to thank my teacher for this.” Nakamura casually waved his hand, and countless thorns lashed out at Nishizawa’s body. He seemed oblivious, just looking at Nakamura with deep affection and a sickly smile.

“Yukise, only now do I realize that I truly love you. Everyone else is just an insect in my eyes, only you are the light I should chase…” Nishizawa was being whipped, but a happy smile appeared on his face. “It’s a pity that this kind of love will only lead us to destruction together.”

“Teacher, you are still the teacher I know. That’s what I like most about you.” Nakamura said with some disappointment. She stopped the pointless torture because she was now certain that Nishizawa had never cared about anything from the beginning. The only thing he cared about was himself and his insatiable desires.

"Yukise, you've never changed. The twisted nature beneath your innocent ignorance is so beautiful." Nishizawa was on the verge of death, yet he still uttered sweet words.

“Unfortunately, no one can make a mistake without paying the price.” Nakamura lowered his head, his face blank.

“Then, Yukise, let me pay the price. I accept it willingly,” Nishizawa said, opening his arms to Nakamura and closing his eyes, as if to embrace and kiss the expressionless Nakamura. “Give me the cruelest death. Only in this way can you remember me forever.”

Disappointment and bewilderment flickered in Nakamura's eyes, but a sweet smile appeared on his lips.

The next second, hundreds of thorns dug deep into Xize's chest, flesh, and internal organs, while countless thin lines made of black matter simultaneously cut through Xize's body, shredding him into countless pieces.

Among Xize's shattered remains, countless small purple moths scattered and flew about, only to be completely strangled by countless fine threads extended from the black thorns.

His body had been almost completely corroded by the amethyst worms, which meant that the insect manipulators of the Divine Society had been watching everything through his eyes. He willingly became the amethyst worm's nest. Nakamura found it hard to understand why Nishizawa Daisei had gone to such lengths. What twisted path had the teacher she knew in the past unknowingly embarked on?

In the pool of blood, Nakamura's ferocious and brutal expression slowly returned to tranquility, finally revealing a childlike sense of loss and bewilderment.

She walked barefoot through the hellish pool of blood, slowly bending down to pick up Xize's head from the blood.

Now, the mouth that once discussed countless literary works and excellent poems is closed forever, and those bright and spirited eyes are forever frozen in time. Yet, in his last moments, he still wore an incomparably happy, saintly smile.

But in Nakamura's eyes, Nishizawa was more handsome than ever before.

She smiled and held Xize's head tightly in her arms, touching the tip of her nose to the tip of Xize's nose:

"Teacher, I'm back by your side. Are you happy?"

Nakamura Yukise was not happy at all.

She will certainly not forget Nishizawa Daisei, and perhaps Nishizawa Daisei will be remembered by her forever in another form.

P.S., in this chapter I'm trying to write Nakamura in the direction of a yandere, since there aren't many memorable supporting characters in this book.

Chapter 88, Section 88: The So-Called Heavenly Calamity

Yuki Asakura dragged Shizuki Kurosawa into a dressing room backstage at Parthia Bar.

“We are going to meet the apostle of the Order next, Kurosawa-kun. The outfit you are wearing now is... really too indecent,” Asakura said, looking Kurosawa Shizuki up and down with some difficulty. “Although you are naturally beautiful and can wear any clothes, it doesn’t mean you need to ruin your beauty like this.”

Kurosawa Shizuki was well aware of how out of place her current attire was; after all, it was clothing stripped from a dead body, so how could it possibly be aesthetically pleasing?

"What could I do? I'm already thankful I didn't come here naked after that kind of attack." Kurosawa Shizuki crossed her arms, feeling that Asakura's gaze was a little too penetrating.

The changing room wasn't big, it could even be described as cramped. Kurosawa Shizuki and Asakura Yuki were squeezed together in the changing room, which seemed a bit too crowded. They would occasionally brush against each other. Although Kurosawa Shizuki was very uncomfortable, Asakura seemed quite happy. Kurosawa Shizuki realized that the more timid and cowardly she appeared, the more unrestrained Asakura would become, so she simply decided to act more openly now.

Forces are reciprocal. While Asakura was making advances on her, she was also taking advantage of him. Asakura thought he was a predatory beast, but Kurosawa Shizuki saw her as a cute lamb that had walked into her trap. In any case, Kurosawa Shizuki was not at a loss. If Asakura dared to continue playing with fire, Kurosawa Shizuki was sure she would get burned first.

"This is the ceremonial robe of the Shadow Princess. The Holy Lord asked me to give it to you. Try it on; I think it will suit you very well." Asakura reached into the shadows behind her, into the flowing, sun-like blackness, and pulled out an equally magnificent kimono. With extremely gentle movements, Asakura unfolded the kimono for Kurosawa Shizuki like a scroll, its exquisite embroidery shining brightly, shimmering with a captivating brilliance even in the darkness.

It seems to be a pair with the one worn by Asakura, except that Asakura's clothes flow with bright colors of gold, red and orange, which reminds people of the vibrant world under the sun's rays, dazzling and radiant.

The main colors of this kimono are deep blue, rich purple and silver gray. The tranquil night sky, the gentle crescent moon, and the sea surface being blown by a breeze create an indescribable coolness in the silence and detachment.

Kurosawa Shizuki examined the ukiyo-e prints embroidered on the kimono—they all seemed to correspond perfectly to Asakura's kimono: white cranes flying eastward towards the sunrise, black crows migrating westward towards the sunset; countless lotus flowers blooming on the pale golden sea, while countless shadows danced eerily on the deep blue sea; Asakura was thriving with the rising sun, while on Kurosawa's side, only a pale moon hung in the sky, and everything was silent.

"How is it? Isn't it beautiful? I think it perfectly suits your temperament." Asakura looked at the intricate patterns on the kimono.

"It is indeed very beautiful, but..." This kimono is obviously much more luxurious than the saintly robe she wore when she first transmigrated. Every inch looks like it was meticulously crafted by an artisan, and it is perfectly made from head to toe. However, because the rest of the kimono is too perfect, the minor flaws of this kimono are particularly noticeable. "But why does this kimono look a little dirty?"

Perhaps it wasn't dirty, but rather deliberately made this way. At first glance, you can clearly see that the cuffs, hem, and waist ribbon of this Yin Zhi Zi's gorgeous robe are covered with fine black grime, with rings of grime lingering around, inexplicably reminding one of... black flames.

Kurosawa Shizuki noticed that Asakura's expression had clearly darkened; she seemed to be thinking about something very unpleasant.

"This is all because the previous Queen of the Shadows betrayed her mission, threw herself into the filthy lust of love, tainted her robes with the power of velvet, betrayed the Order, and joined the Sisterhood of Knotted Ropes."

“If you do not end her life and offer her to the Black Sun, praying for the baptism of the Black Sun’s fire, the Robe of the Princess will never be able to return to its purity.”

"Filthy lustful love? What do you mean?" Kurosawa Shizuki thought to herself, "Your Yang Child seems pretty filthy to me too. I've never heard of the Black Sun Cult having any tradition of abstinence."

“She fell in love with a man. The princess of the Black Sun Cult must never fall in love with a man, but she dared to love and dared to act on it,” Asakura said without hiding her disgust. “She betrayed the Holy Lord, betrayed the cult, and betrayed me. This is unforgivable.”

"I hope you won't repeat her mistakes..." Asakura's gaze towards Kurosawa Shizuki became somewhat obscure.

"So that's the reason?!" Kurosawa Shizuki suddenly felt that the Black Sun Cult's style was getting stranger and stranger. So, a Yin Princess betrayed the cult in pursuit of free love? Could it be that the Black Sun Cult is the main villain who doesn't allow this marriage?

In comparison, in this modern society, isn't it too inhumane for the cult to prevent a young girl in the prime of her life from falling in love with a man? Although Kurosawa Shizuki knows that she still likes girls, and Asakura is probably the same, she is sure that most girls probably don't feel the same way.

"Isn't that reason enough? You don't know about the Heavenly Calamity, do you?" Asakura showed a surprised expression for the first time.

"What exactly is a Heavenly Sin? I've heard people mention it before, but I don't know its specifics..." Kurosawa Shizuki suddenly became nervous. She remembered that when Kirizumi chose the chosen ones, they had to be either offenders of the Heavenly Sin or children of divine sin.

"Good heavens, how did you even reach the fourth rank? You don't even know this basic common sense?" Asakura sighed, rolling up the robes of the Shadow Prince, seemingly reluctant to give them to Kurosawa Shizuki.

"Is this something everyone has to know?" Kurosawa Shizuki rolled her eyes. She didn't know how she had reached the fourth rank. She had inexplicably leveled up after transmigrating, and everything had gone smoothly. It was obviously all arranged by someone.

"Let me confirm first, you're still a virgin, right?" Asakura asked seriously. "I know that many high school girls your age really like to 'play'. Remaining a virgin doesn't seem to prove a girl's purity; on the contrary, it proves that the girl lacks charm. There are such boring thoughts among ordinary people."

"I guess...yes." Kurosawa Shizuki said somewhat embarrassedly. The original owner of this body was always busy with revenge and hiding from the pursuit of powerful enemies all over the world, so obviously she wouldn't have time to date. After she transmigrated, out of curiosity, she also "explored" some mysterious areas on her own. It seems that whether it was the original owner or her current self, she has always had zero sexual experience. It seems that this is not sad, but rather something to be thankful for.

“That’s good, you can still be the Shadow Prince,” Asakura Yuki seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, handing the Shadow Prince’s robe to Kurosawa Shizuki. “If you still want to be the Shadow Prince, you must remember to always remain a virgin and never fall in love with any man.”

"If you truly fall in love with a man and lose your virginity, you will also be regarded as an irreconcilable enemy by the cult, and you and your lover will face endless persecution by the cult."

"This rule... it should be easy for me to follow." Kurosawa Shizuki showed no resistance whatsoever, and was even a little excited. Although she was a beautiful girl now, she was sure that she was more attracted to beautiful girls than to handsome men. Now that the Black Sun Cult had this strange rule, she would naturally... go with the flow.

“If you have nowhere to vent your desires, you can come to me. Even if you don’t love me, at least we can still comfort each other. To avoid going down the wrong path, the Order encourages pure love between people of the same sex.” Asakura moved closer to Kurosawa Shizuki’s face. Kurosawa Shizuki felt that this woman seemed to be tempting her again, but Kurosawa Shizuki didn’t like this. It was too direct and there was no preamble. Even though the other party was also an extremely beautiful girl, Kurosawa Shizuki didn’t think she should just get on Asakura’s pirate ship like this.

"Why would there be such a strange request?" More than anything about getting close to Asakura, Kurosawa Shizuki was more concerned with the true meaning behind this rule. She felt the world was becoming increasingly absurd. In the Black Sun Cult, heterosexuality was an unforgivable mistake, while homosexuality was the right choice?

"Because heterosexual love can lead to procreation, for superhumans of the fourth rank and above, procreation is an unforgivable sin. All high-ranking superhumans who give birth to offspring are called those who have committed sins against the heavens and will be punished by the gods," Yuki Asakura said somewhat dejectedly.

"What kind of punishment is this that's so terrifying?" Kurosawa Shizuki wondered if something was wrong with the gods of this world. Did the gods also believe that true love only exists between people of the same sex? Was the price of becoming a high-level transcendent being forbidden from having children? Why was there such a rule?

"Those who offend the divine will must devour their own offspring; otherwise, their divinely ordained children will one day kill their own parents. This is the fate of those who offend the divine will and their divinely ordained children; throughout history, no one has ever escaped this rule. If this rule is refused, even more terrible things will happen."

"You've surely heard of the most infamous offender in history—Cronus, the second-generation king of the gods in Greek mythology, and his mother Gaia gave birth to the Olympian gods. Knowing that he was destined to be overthrown by his own children, he would swallow each of his offspring whole. But in the end, he was still overthrown by his youngest child, Zeus..."

"By the time of the Romans, Cronus was known as the father of Jupiter, and the Akkadians called him the 'inextinguishable black force,' symbolizing the cruel sun that shines 180 degrees across the world at noon."

Chapter 89, Section 89: The Daughter of the Shadows' Splendid Attire

Kurosawa Shizuki felt a chill creep into her heart. She was still a virgin, she had never loved a man, so she couldn't possibly have offended the divine calamity. Therefore, the only reason she could be chosen by Muko was that she was the child of the divine calamity.

If she and Ai are children of divine sin, then it means their father has committed a sin against heaven.

If their father did not devour them, and if what Kurosawa Ai said is true, their mother had already been wiped out, and their father had been caught up and killed by a great enemy. Both their parents died tragically. So, would the fate of being the children of the gods, as described by Asakura Yuki, still befall them? This sounds like a very cruel fate, like Oedipus, who was destined to kill his father and marry his mother.

He obviously couldn't tell Asakura Yuki about his identity as the son of a god, but there was another point in Asakura Yuki's words that concerned Kurosawa Shizuki even more:

"The Black Sun we worship, is He also a god who has committed a sin against Heaven? Is He the same Cronus?" The Law of Sin actually applies to gods? And Kurosawa Shizuki clearly remembers that Mitra was a god from Persia, how can Mitra be compared to Cronus from Greek and Roman mythology?

"Gods are beings who set the rules, and of course they are not bound by these rules. Cronus in mythology may have been the first named person of the Black Sun in the world. He was abandoned by the Black Sun for offending the divine sins. That myth may be a warning to future generations... But the rules of divine sins do exist. Black Swamp, whether it is you or me, it is best never to test the law."

“I understand. If becoming the Princess of Yin requires staying away from sexual relations with men, I can accept that.”
