Marineford War: I Will Stand in the Sky

"Ah!"

Lightning slowly crackled around Enel's body. Although its power was vastly different from before, it still boosted Enel's aura as he spoke.

"I am a subordinate god under the Lord of Hueco Mundo!"

Upon hearing this, even those around them who were still immersed in the shock and fear of the ancient weapon Hades were instantly drawn to this statement.

what?

A subordinate deity under the Lord of Hueco Mundo?!

In an instant, everyone's gaze toward Enel changed, and they vaguely understood why they had never heard of a powerhouse of this caliber before.

Furthermore, why does Enel dare to be so arrogant, constantly referring to himself as a god?

So, this guy is a member of the "Hueco Mundo Organization"?

If that's the case, then everything seems to make sense.

In an instant, everyone had a sudden realization, understanding the origins of this mysterious man, Enel.

As a result, Enel, shrouded in such an aura, even forcefully stole some of the attention from those around him from the Ancient Weapon Hades, and... completely caught Crocodile's attention.

"So that's how it is. You're a member of Hueco Mundo. I was just thinking about how to find you guys, but you showed up on your own initiative and even helped me find the Ancient Weapon, Pluton."

"Thank you so much, Enel."

As Crocodile finished speaking, the hundreds of secondary cannons, naval cannons, machine guns, and other weapons on the enormous and ferocious warship Hades slowly rotated, all aimed at Enel in the sky above.

Enel, however, was unimpressed and didn't take those cannon barrels, each thicker than a person, seriously at all.

After all, Enel wasn't completely ignorant about mechanical mechanisms; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to build the prototype of the "Ark Maxim".

Therefore, after arriving in Qinghai, Enel used his "Mind Network" ability to learn a lot of information about the cannonballs on the sea.

Solid round bullet!

These shells have no effect on gods; they can't even touch a god's body.

However, the next moment, the turrets on the Hades warship shook violently.

"Chirp!"

Hundreds of jet-black rays shot out instantly, forming a network that surrounded Enel from all directions.

This time, Yann saw the attack of the Ancient Weapon Pluton clearly. The dark light might be somewhat similar to Hueco Mundo in color, but its properties and speed were more like the light of the "Glint-Glint Fruit".

However, unlike the golden light emitted by Admiral Borsalino's "Glint-Glint Fruit," the light emitted by the Hades warship was pitch black.

Enel's previously indifferent and disdainful expression suddenly became somewhat strained.

Enel was all too familiar with this pitch-black light.

That single, towering strike not only instantly obliterated the entire area within the palace grounds, but it could also easily disintegrate the two hundred million volts of lightning that constituted the "Thor form".

In other words, even if Enel enters his elemental state, those dark rays can still harm him.

Enel's body crackled with lightning, but it seemed as if there was some obstacle preventing him from unleashing and controlling it as freely as before.

The next moment, Enel raised his golden staff and struck the thunder drum on his back, releasing all the lightning stored within it.

"Dong dong!"

"Thunder Dragon!!"

"Crackling and popping..."

In an instant, several thunder dragons appeared in mid-air, accompanied by rolling thunder, and blasted towards the scattered dark rays of light below.

"Boom!"

Accompanied by a series of violent explosions, countless electric arcs were blasted into the air.

Enel took the opportunity to fly upwards in his "elemental" state, heading straight for the "Ark Maxim" that was hovering in mid-air.

At this moment, both Yann, who was frowning as he watched the battle, and Enel himself noticed that the dark rays seemed to be affecting the Devil Fruit's power.

If Enel hadn't habitually stored a large amount of lightning in his thunder drum, he might have been seriously injured, or even killed, by those hundreds of black beams fired simultaneously.

Those dark rays of light... have an effect similar to sea stone?!

When Enel's "Thor form" was defeated, he clearly began to struggle to maintain his form.

Under normal circumstances, Logia-type Devil Fruit users should be able to control their abilities at will as long as they haven't exhausted their physical strength.

'Could being hit by that dark ray have a strong effect on Devil Fruit users, thus hindering their ability to use it to some extent?'

Yann's breathing unconsciously quickened, his mind racing as he tried to figure out how to solve this enormous problem.

Crocodile... and the Ancient Weapon Pluton!

Enel, who had successfully returned to his suspended state in mid-air and was constantly spewing thunderclouds to maintain the weather, was now in a state of complete rage.

"No matter what kind of weapon it is, annihilate it completely!"

Enel spoke slowly and deliberately, then placed his palm on the "Ark Maxim," pouring in as much of the remaining available lightning as possible.

The next moment, the speed at which "Ark Proverb" spewed thunderclouds increased by more than ten times, and a large number of terrifying thunderclouds entangled with lightning began to cover the entire sky.

Immediately, with a flick of Enel's hand, massive thunderclouds descended from all directions upon the Ancient Weapon, Hades.

However, the effect of the dark rays released by the Ancient Weapon Hades was greatly reduced, as these thunderclouds were created by technology on the "Ark Maxim" rather than by Enel's abilities.

Soon, a large amount of thunderclouds swirled around it, even completely enveloping the enormous ancient weapon, Hades, forming a sphere of thunderclouds.

"Lei Ying!"

As Enel's judgmental tone fell, countless bolts of lightning erupted from the thundercloud sphere, even turning the entire sphere blue.

[Chapter 337 The Wrecked Ark's Maxim]

"Lei Ying!!!"

"Boom!"

At this moment, as countless bolts of lightning collided and erupted within the thundercloud, the entire massive thundercloud sphere was transformed into a convergence of lightning at a speed visible to the naked eye.

This move wasn't just Enel unleashing the power of his "Rumble-Rumble Fruit" alone; it was also a terrifying display of power generated by Enel using the "Ark Mantra" and the thunderclouds of nature.

Almost instantly, the sand that had been carrying the ancient weapon Hades, like seawater, completely crystallized and was annihilated by the collision of countless bolts of lightning.

The entire capital of the Alabasta Kingdom trembled under this "Thunderous Welcome" attack, with countless buildings breaking and collapsing amidst the electric arcs.

"Quickly, protect the surrounding civilians as much as possible!"

As Gion urgently issued this order to his elite subordinates, the giant thunder sphere formed by "Rai-yō" exploded with a deafening roar, and a huge shockwave swept outwards in all directions in a ring, carrying a large number of electric arcs.

As the shockwave, containing terrifying heat and horrific voltage, exploded, Yann sensed something was about to happen.

Under the impact of such a highly destructive blast wave, ordinary civilians would inevitably die in droves.

Even though King Cobra had evacuated his people from the capital ahead of time, thanks to Yann's warning, the aftershocks of "Thunderclap" were still enough to kill more than half the population.

However, faced with such a catastrophic aftershock, Arn's abilities were utterly ineffective in stopping it; on the contrary...

"Wind Wall!"

Yann roared loudly, reminding the hidden Dorag, who was not far away.

The next moment, in the central part of the capital city of the Alabasta Kingdom, a series of strong winds suddenly rose up and quickly formed a wall-like wind barrier.

"boom!"

At the moment the air blast collided with the wind wall, the direction of the air blast changed under the influence of the wind wall's airflow, and the remaining terrifying high temperature and terrifying voltage released their remaining power upwards.

"Zizzizi..."

Those citizens who were quite close to the wind wall could even clearly see the terrifyingly high temperature at the wind wall evaporating the moisture in the air, and hear a series of ear-piercing sounds from the electric arcs jumping around.

Finally, after more than ten breaths, the terrifying aftershocks slowly subsided.

At this time, the capital city within the wind wall had been completely changed. The overall terrain had even formed a semi-funnel shape, with all the buildings on the ground being leveled and only some ruins buried deep in the ground occasionally visible.

Is the world being... destroyed?

"A...a natural disaster!"

"That was terrifying, I almost died!"

Countless citizens muttered to themselves in a daze, and most of them had even collapsed to the ground.

However, before they could recover from this world-ending scene, King Cobra appeared in front of them with his guards and shouted loudly.

"Citizens, what are you waiting for? Evacuate the capital! If you don't want to die, evacuate the capital as quickly as possible!"

It wasn't just King Cobra shouting; guards were running and yelling from different directions around the capital, urging the people not to linger and to evacuate the capital immediately.

In an instant, all the citizens seemed to wake from a dream, struggling to get up and fleeing the capital at an unprecedented speed.

This is no longer a place where they can stay.

Whether it's the appearance of the Ancient Weapon Hades or the terrifying aftershocks of Enel's power, it all shows that if you want to survive, you absolutely cannot stay any longer.

Witnessing King Cobra's actions and the large number of his people fleeing at top speed, both Yann and Dragon breathed a sigh of relief.

With the situation deteriorating to this extent and the Ancient Weapon Pluton to be dealt with, both Yann and Dragon felt that the situation was gradually getting out of control.

They were originally confident that they could protect innocent civilians from harm, but they have lost that confidence.

The Ancient Weapon Hades... is indeed extraordinarily terrifying!

Both Yann and Dorrag, who was hiding in the shadows, stared intently at the Hades warship, which appeared to remain unchanged as the thunderclouds dissipated.

The terrifying power of "Thunderous Encounter" is absolutely enough to destroy a small island in an instant, and the annihilation power generated by the collision of countless bolts of lightning at the center of the thundercloud is even more terrifying.

However, even this level of attack failed to cause effective damage to the surface of the Hades behemoth.

However, this was not entirely unexpected by Yon and Dragon, because Yon and Dragon had already come into contact with Hades in advance and knew that most of the materials and structures on Hades' surface were the same as those in the Poneglyphs.

It is made of a special hard material that originated eight hundred years ago. The historical text is made of this material and is known as "indestructible".

Even so, because lightning has a considerable degree of restraint on metal, Yorn and Dragon still hoped that the terrifying lightning burst would be able to cause effective damage to the ancient weapon Hades.

At the very least... it will paralyze the internal mechanical structure of the ancient weapon Hades.

"boom!"

However, the next moment, under the expectant gazes of Yorn and Dragon, the Hades warship suddenly unleashed ten beams of black light from its ten secondary cannons, shooting straight at the "Ark Maxim" in the sky.
