Chapter 372: The Power of the Rubik's Cube

Captain America stated truthfully, "Under the director's leadership, we quickly restored order to S.H.I.E.L.D., and S.H.I.E.L.D. is now much stronger than before."

"The Demon King? Have you heard of him?" the two gatekeepers whispered to each other.

The title "Demon King" is now largely unknown, as Lin Yaoxie rarely appears in the public eye these days.

Only high-ranking officials from S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Justice League can see him; it's very difficult for others to even get a glimpse of him.

"It's him, the Demon King of the Demon Kingdom! How could he possibly be here?" The S.H.I.E.L.D. guard hesitated for a moment, then exclaimed in surprise.

However, at this moment, Lin Yaoxie seemed to be very familiar with the senior management of S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Could it be that the invasion of the '633' gods made them reconcile?" The guards at the gate of the demonic forest were increasingly puzzled.

They finally understood when Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., appeared.

"Master," Black Widow called out to Lin Yaoxie instinctively.

Black Widow never expected Lin Yaoxie to come to S.H.I.E.L.D. at this time. She was already swamped with official business and could hardly get a few hours of rest each day.

Lin Yaoxie turned his head and saw Black Widow and Thor walking towards him.

"Boss!"

"Big brother!"

"Owner!"

Tony, Peter, and Thor spoke respectfully to Lin Yaoxie.

Lin Yaoxie touched Black Widow's face in front of everyone and said, "It seems that handing over the position of Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. to you was a wise choice. In just a few days, everything here has returned to normal."

Black Widow bit her lip, completely forgetting for a moment that she was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

"I will do my best to complete the task you assigned me." Black Widow waved her hand and said to Thor and the others, "You guys go ahead and get back to your work."

Peter said helplessly, "It seems our director has started abusing his power for personal gain."

Amidst laughter and chatter, the group entered S.H.I.E.L.D., with Black Widow's eyes fixed on the two guards who had not yet left.

Upon seeing the Black Widow's assertive demeanor, the two security guards quickly walked away.

"I'll show you around S.H.I.E.L.D." Black Widow smiled as she helped Lin Yaoxie into the S.H.I.E.L.D. building.

After more than two hours, Lin Yaoxie, led by Black Widow, finally finished touring S.H.I.E.L.D. and became even more certain that Black Widow had really been working hard these past few days, otherwise S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't have recovered so quickly.

"Where is the Rubik's Cube?" Lin Yaoxie asked as he entered Black Widow's office and sat in her chair.

Black Widow, carrying a cup of tea, approached Lin Yaoxie, put down her cup, and replied, "Dr. Banner is currently researching this. Do you need it now?"

Black Widow had been following Lin Yaoxie closely and knew his personality very well. If Lin Yaoxie asked about the Rubik's Cube, then something must have happened.

"Have Dr. Banner bring me the Rubik's Cube," Lin Yaoxie replied without hesitation.

After finishing her call, Black Widow looked at Lin Yaoxie sitting in the chair and said almost coquettishly, "I've been busy these past few days with S.H.I.E.L.D. matters. How are you going to reward me?"

At this moment, Black Widow acted like a little woman, a gentle side rarely seen in front of ordinary men.

After a long while, a knock came at the door. Black Widow's voice was a little hoarse as she said, "Wait a moment."

The Black Widow, standing in front of Lin Yaoxie, glared at him fiercely, then, after getting dressed, shrugged her shoulders and said, "Come in."

When the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents entered the office, they were stunned to find a man sitting in a chair, with the director standing next to him.

"What is it?" Black Widow asked the agent in front of her.

The agent replied, "Chief, Dr. Banner has arrived."

"Let him in," Black Widow replied.

Banner entered the office with the Rubik's Cube, and upon seeing Lin Yaoxie, he still appeared somewhat unnatural.

Although the entire S.H.I.E.L.D. team submitted to Lin Yaoxie, Banner still harbored some resentment in his heart.

"I wonder what the Demon King wants the Rubik's Cube for?" Banner sat down in front of Lin Yaoxie and placed the Rubik's Cube on the table.

Hearing Banner's question, Lin Yaoxie said, "I hope to use the Rubik's Cube to create a portal to another world."

The Marvel universe has ended, and Lin Yaoxie has received a notification from the Demon King System that he must leave this world within three days.

However, Ren Tingting and the others did not want to leave this place, because the establishment of the Demon Kingdom had made them feel attached to it.

Given that they had no desire to stay in the Rubik's Cube system, Lin Yaoxie did consider forcibly taking Ren Tingting and the others away.

However, Lin Yaoxie, having painstakingly created this massive organization, was unwilling to abandon it. Therefore, Lin Yaoxie thought of the power of the Rubik's Cube. Since the power of the Rubik's Cube could open the gate to the gods, it could naturally also create a gate to the mortal world.

"Impossible, the Rubik's Cube can no longer create a time portal," Banner said with absolute certainty.

Lin Yaoxie responded, "I thought so too before, 5.3. I didn't dare listen to what Hua Luo said. The power of the Rubik's Cube is not enough to connect to the gods in the universe, but it is still possible to connect to other worlds."

"This matter is very important to me. Is there really no way for Dr. Banner to handle this?" Lin Yaoxie asked Banner.

"Not a path to the gods? But the Rubik's Cube originated from the gods and records their location coordinates. How could it possibly lead to somewhere else?" Dr. Banner replied.

Lin Yaoxie's eyes lit up. It turned out that by changing the coordinates of the Rubik's Cube itself, he might be able to create a portal to the real world. This way, even if Ren Tingting and her group didn't have to leave, Lin Yaoxie could come back here anytime.

Chapter 373: The Gateway to the Modern World

"How can I change the parameters?" Lin Yaoxie stood up. Dr. Banner had hit the nail on the head, so Lin Yaoxie only needed to find a way to change the parameters of the Rubik's Cube itself. Dr. Banner shook his head and said, "There's no way. The Rubik's Cube is a magical object. How could anyone change something that exists in its own form?" Seeing Dr. Banner's helpless expression, Lin Yaoxie slowly sat down.

Having roughly understood the problem, Lin Yaoxie let Dr. Banner leave, while the Rubik's Cube remained.

"Where do you want to go?" Black Widow asked, somewhat puzzled.

Lin Yaoxie smiled and said, "It leads to another country."

Lin Yaoxie is indeed facing such a problem now, and he only has three days left.

"Demon King System, can you help me modify the positioning parameters of the Rubik's Cube?" Lin Yaoxie summoned the Demon King System at this moment.

The Demon King System affirmed, "Yes, but I will charge a high fee."

Lin Yaoxie frowned slightly and said, "Aren't you taking advantage of my misfortune? I only have 10,000 Demon King Points left, and you haven't even exchanged them for me yet."

The Demon King System responded, "Since you put it that way, I'll only charge you 04 Demon King Coins this time. You can't afford any more than that."

Lin Yaoxie broke out in a cold sweat. The Demon King System really knew how to do business. He had previously exchanged a lot of equipment for Demon King Points with it, but now the Demon King System was becoming more and more shrewd.

"Inform Dr. Banner that I will try to change the parameters of the Rubik's Cube itself and have him help me create a time portal." Lin Yaoxie came back to his senses, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, and felt a pang of heartache at the thought of losing 10,000 Demon King Points.

Black Widow immediately left the office, and Lin Yaoxie put the Rubik's Cube in front of him into the Rubik's Cube system for modification.

As time passed, Lin Yaoxie had very little time left to stay in the Marvel universe.

"Boss has been acting all mysterious lately, what's going on?" Valor saw Thor, Superman and the others arrive at the launch tower.

In the heart of Lin Province, Lin Yaoxie suddenly built a tall launch pad, and at that moment, Dr. Banner, the Hulk, Superman, and Thor all arrived there.

The Hua Luo brothers, who had been in the Demon Kingdom, sensed something was wrong, and Ren Tingting and the others looked rather embarrassed.

"What exactly happened? Did you tell me?" Hua Luo frowned, eager to know the truth.

Lin Yaoxie's figure slowly appeared in front of everyone, and he said, "I've called you all here today to help me with something."

Hua Luo breathed a slight sigh of relief; Lin Yaoxie, who had been elusive for the past few days, had finally shown up.

"Boss, just tell us what you need to do, why are you being so polite?" Hua Luo stepped forward and said.

Superman and Thor looked at each other and said to Lin Yaoxie, "Hua Luo is right. Boss, just say the word if you need anything."

Superman said in a serious tone that, in his mind, there was no one else in the world besides Lin Yaoxie who he could call "boss".

Lin Yaoxie nodded and had Dr. Banner place the Rubik's Cube on the launching device. He then said to the three Valor brothers, Superman, and Thor, "I need to use your power to open the door to another world for me."

For a moment, Hua Luo and the others showed expressions of surprise. Thor said almost with certainty, "It's impossible for the power of the Rubik's Cube to create a portal to another dimension."

After putting the Rubik's Cube away, Dr. Banner turned to Thor and said, "The Rubik's Cube itself can no longer open the portal to the Gods, but the world that Lord Demon Lord is visiting is much weaker than this one."

"So the Rubik's Cube can do it, but Loki consumed too much of the cube's energy before, so we need to use the abilities of the rest of you to activate it," Dr. Banner explained.

Among the crowd, after careful selection by Dr. Banner, the three Valor brothers, Superman, and Thor were chosen to complete the task.

The others are too weak because they lack divine power. Superman's power stems from justice, making him essentially a half-god. Thor, Valor, and the other two are descendants of gods, possessing divine status.

“No problem at all. The boss’s business is the business of the three Hua brothers. We will definitely do our duty without hesitation.” Hua Luo stepped forward, looking as if he could activate the power of the Rubik’s Cube at any time.

Hua Er stepped forward and echoed, "Brother is right."

Superman and Thor then agreed, and Lin Yaoxie, seeing that all five people he had summoned had agreed, had Dr. Banner activate the Rubik's Cube.

As a burst of power from the Rubik's Cube was transmitted directly to the open space in front of the launch pad, the five members of Hua Luo, who had been waiting in ambush, all unleashed powerful energy into the Rubik's Cube.

The launcher was running continuously, and a massive amount of data appeared before Dr. Banner.

“Very good, continue to inject power into the Rubik's Cube.” Dr. Banner looked at the data in front of him, a look of joy on his face.

This device took two days and two nights to complete. If it can successfully create a time portal, Dr. Banner's hard work will not have been in vain.

However, not long after, Dr. Banner, who had been excited, began to become serious and kept walking in front of the launch device.

"My Lord, their power is not strong enough!" Dr. Banner felt a chill in his heart. These five were the only people on Earth with godhood, yet their combined power was still insufficient to activate the Rubik's Cube.

“It can’t be stopped. The spacetime portal connection program is starting, but their power is far from enough. If this continues, all five of them and the Rubik’s Cube will explode due to the imbalance of power.” Dr. Banner’s expression was very tense.

Lin Yaoxie frowned slightly. Dr. Banner had said before that creating a time portal was risky, but he hadn't mentioned that it would cost the lives of the five people in front of him.

These five members were among Lin Yaoxie's most formidable men. Lin Yaoxie stepped forward and asked, "Is there any other way now?"

"There's only one way: find someone with divine power as soon as possible and inject it into the Rubik's Cube. That's the only way to alleviate this crisis," Dr. Banner said anxiously. "Time is running out; the Rubik's Cube is showing signs of exploding."

"My Lord Demon King, your power is absolutely enough to suppress the power of the Rubik's Cube," Thor said to Lin Yaoxie with a strained expression.

Chapter 374: The Completion of the Time-Space Gate

Lin Yaoxie frowned, looking at Thor's troubled expression. Even with the combined efforts of the five of them, they couldn't suppress the power of the Rubik's Cube.

Lin Yaoxie and Banner had discussed it at first, but because Lin Yaoxie possessed evil and dark power that clashed with the power of the Rubik's Cube, he never intended to inject his power into the Rubik's Cube after arriving at the launch pad.

"There's no time to lose, Lord Demon King! You must make a decision quickly!" Dr. Banner, the Hulk, almost roared at Lin Yaoxie.

Lin Yaoxie took a deep breath, frowned slightly, and turned to Dr. Banner, saying, "I will personally test the power of the Rubik's Cube."

Dr. Banner looked up and saw Lin Yaoxie's body fly up, emitting a powerful force that flowed into the Rubik's Cube.

However, after Lin's evil power joined in, the alarm sound from the transmitter created by Dr. Banner was silenced.

Banner breathed a sigh of relief, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and looked at the Rubik's Cube in front of him.
