Seeing this, Ling Yue went to Lin Yaoxie's side and hugged him.

Ling Yue used his spiritual energy to help Lin Yaoxie suppress the Fenji evil energy. After a while, Lin Yaoxie calmed down.

He looked at Ling Yue with a bewildered expression.

"What happened?" Lin Yaoxie asked.

Ling Yue sighed helplessly and then told him what had just happened.

Lin Yaoxie turned around and went inside to change his clothes. When he came out, Fuqu was still waiting for him outside, so the demon said, "All done."

Fuqu gave Lin Yaoxie a flirtatious wink, then pulled him outside. When they arrived at a pavilion, there was a basket there. Fuqu opened the basket, and inside were many pastries.

"Brother Demon, come and have some snacks! I bought these down the mountain, they're delicious!" Fuqu said.

Lin Yaoxie was somewhat helpless. It turned out that Fuqu had woken him up just to have some snacks.

Seeing Fuqu looking at him expectantly, Lin Yaoxie had no choice but to pick one up and take a bite.

"Is it delicious?" Fuqu asked expectantly.

Lin Yaoxie and Fuqu turned around at the same time.

"Master, you've arrived," Lin Yaoxie said.

Master Ziyin walked up to the two of them, glanced at Fuqu, and then asked, "When did you return? Why didn't you tell me beforehand?"

Fuqu scratched her head and said, "I just got back."

Master Ziyin rolled his eyes at Fuqu.

Lin Yaoxie picked up the pastries and said, "These are pastries that Fuqu brought back. Try them, they're delicious."

Master Ziyin glanced at Fuqu and said, "I don't like desserts." Unexpectedly, Fuqu immediately said, "It's great that you don't like them. I'll give them all to Senior Brother Yaoxie."

When Master Ziyin saw Fuqu like this, he didn't know what to say to her. Then Master Ziyin said, "You've just come back, so you should rest well."

Fuqu rolled her eyes at Master Ziyin, then grabbed Lin Yaoxie's arm and said, "I want Brother Yaoxie to come down the mountain with me to play."

The shopkeeper quickly wrapped up both hairpins.

So, the boss and his partner parted ways again.

Fuqu felt a pang of jealousy. Lin Yaoxie had just said he was going to give the hairpin to someone else, which meant he was going to give it to a girl.

After Lin Yaoxie bought them, he gave one to Fuqu and kept the other in his pocket.

"Senior brother, which girl are you going to give that hairpin to?" Fuqu asked.

"Don't ask that. Let's continue exploring other places," Lin Yaoxie said.

But Fuqu was very unwilling.

Suddenly, she lunged at Lin Yaoxie.
