"Welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Double Festival!"

"Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day together!"

"Limited Edition Five-Star Mooncakes for National Day!"

There weren't actually that many people on the street.

After all, it's a rare holiday, and on the first day, many ordinary people will probably choose to rest at home.

Of course, there are still quite a few cars.

In this day and age, car owners are rich, and rich people are usually 'not afraid of trouble'.

This is the bus from Yukong High School.

It was not rented.

It's always parked at the entrance, and it will take students there whenever there's a temporary competition or performance.

The same is true today.

The school band sat at the very front of the school bus; there were a large group of them.

Mo Xueyao hadn't counted them carefully, but with a quick glance, there were probably around twenty people.

In comparison, the Snow Music Band seemed much weaker and more isolated.

Qiu Yi was supposed to bring his electronic keyboard for Mo Xueyao to use today.

But... even though his piano was indeed much better, Mo Xueyao still wanted to play with her own electronic keyboard.

Perhaps in the end, it's still more convenient to use what you're used to.

The breeze outside the window gently brushed against my face.

There was some congestion on the not-so-wide city roads.

Of course, it didn't completely stop, it was just moving at a slower speed, averaging only about 30 miles per hour.

The weather in October was cloudless.

This also means that sunlight can shine on the earth without any obstruction.

When the car isn't going very fast, it can get quite hot inside.

Fortunately, Yukong High School was located on the edge of the city, and soon they drove out of the city and onto a wider highway.

Mo Zhuyou sat beside Mo Xueyao, her slightly narrowed eyes seeming somewhat sleepy.

What was unusual today wasn't that Hua Yinyin managed to snag a seat next to her; rather, it surprised her somewhat.

"Hahoo—" Mo Zhuyou let out a big yawn, which infected Mo Xueyao, causing her to yawn involuntarily as well.

"Did Youyou not sleep well last night?"

"Hmm... I practiced a bit more on the way back... I'm sleepy..." Mo Zhuyou tilted her head and leaned against Mo Xueyao. "Xiaoyao, can I lean on you and sleep for a while?"

"Ah? Oh... Of course." Mo Xueyao leaned closer to the window, her blue eyes blinking gently.

The next second, Mo Zhuyou's entire body leaned against her, and her breathing quickly became even. It seemed that only a few seconds had passed before she fell into a dream.

"Sleeping so well..." Mo Xueyao smiled helplessly. Hua Yinyin, sitting in front of her, hadn't reacted at all. This unusual situation made her feel strange, like she wasn't wearing the same shoes on her left and right feet when she left home that morning...

"What's wrong with Yinyin today?" she finally couldn't help but mutter.

The sound wasn't loud, and Hua Yinyin, who was sitting in front, obviously didn't hear it either.

Through the reflection in the car window, all that could be seen was Hua Yinyin resting her chin on her hand, gazing out the window with a calm expression.

"Yinyin—Xiaoyao is calling you!" Wang Jiale reached out and took off the earphones from Hua Yinyin's ears. "What's wrong with you today? Something on your mind?"

"Huh? What? Um...nothing." Hua Yinyin looked behind her blankly, then shook her head slightly and put her headphones back on.

Mo Xueyao originally thought she would pounce on her playfully in a fit of anger.

Nothing happened.

She gave Wang Jiale a puzzled look, and he returned the same look.

The bus gradually picked up speed, and a cool breeze blew into the carriage, gently lifting a few strands of hair at Mo Xueyao's temples.

Compared to the lively school band over there, the Snow Music Band was unusually quiet today.

Hua Yinyin was listening to music with her headphones on, while Wang Jiale was playing Sokoban on her phone; Mo Zhuyou was asleep leaning against Mo Xueyao, while Mo Xueyao was looking at the scenery outside the window; Yu Shu was nervously looking at the sheet music over and over again, while Mr. Xue was engrossed in reading a novel called "The End of the Era".

Qiu Yi, who came as a mentor, also had to take care of his wife—Ye Wen, the homeroom teacher of Class Two.

She was snuggling against Qiu Yi's lap, acting all cute.

Luckily, the two were sitting in the last row, otherwise they would have been surrounded by students all over the bus.

Even so, quite a few of the school band students sitting at the front couldn't help but turn around and take a few more glances.

The destination is actually not far.

Although it's in the suburbs, it's still within the Hangzhou area.

Just as Mo Xueyao was about to fall asleep in the breeze, it finally drove into a secluded path.

Perhaps because there were enough trees on both sides of the road, it suddenly became much cooler when we arrived here.

The walls are covered with ivy, a plant with strong vitality that can sometimes survive for a long time even when its roots are cut.

The nursing home is just around the corner of this long road.

The road came slowly, giving one the illusion that the car had driven into the mountains.

In fact, the mountain is quite far away from here.

After the corner, the road widened a little more, and it was a long uphill slope.

There are some small supermarkets and restaurants near the entrance, as well as a tea room decorated with many green plants.

The bus stopped right at the relatively spacious entrance.

There's just enough room for one more small car to squeeze through.

This is where the road ends.

So even if you stop here for several days, let alone just a short stop, there probably won't be any problems.

"We've arrived!!" Ye Wen's shout woke up many students who were asleep or about to fall asleep.

"Youyou, Youyou, we've arrived."

"Uh-huh……"

Mo Zhuyou, whose head was being shaken by Mo Xueyao, opened her eyes groggily. She had just sat up a little when she fell back into Mo Xueyao's arms: "Hoo hoo... Xiaoyao smells like her older sister."

"Hmm, what does this taste like? It smells like an older sister."

"I don't know, I can't describe it, it just felt pretty much like it, I slept so comfortably." Mo Zhuyou mumbled, tilting her head, and stood up again.

Mo Xueyao became curious as well, and lowered her head to sniff her arm: "Tsk, it doesn't smell like farts at all."

"I already said it's just a feeling." Mo Zhuyou hopped lightly to the exit door. Her drum kit was in the bus's luggage storage area, and she could only get it after getting off the bus.

The same goes for Mo Xueyao's electronic keyboard.

Hua Yinyin's pipa and Wang Jiale's bass were carried on their backs, probably because they didn't take up much space.

As soon as they got off the bus, the members of the Snow Music Band were still a little dizzy. Compared to the large group of people in the school band, they seemed like a different group from somewhere else...

"Little Yaoyao~!" Hua Yinyin, who had been unusually quiet throughout the entire car ride, suddenly pounced on her from the side and hugged her neck.

"Hey, what are you doing!" Mo Xueyao rolled her eyes in annoyance and slapped her arm hard, but inexplicably felt relieved.

However, there was no response this time.

Her hands quickly loosened their grip.

Then, Mo Xueyao heard a sound of vomiting.

No wonder he wasn't talking in the car; he was carsick.

"I didn't expect that even listening to music wouldn't help..." Hua Yinyin muttered to herself next to the trash can.

Mo Xueyao helplessly handed her a wet wipe: "Didn't Awen bring motion sickness medicine? Why didn't you ask her for it earlier?"

"I just wanted to try and see if there was a way to avoid motion sickness..."

"The performance is almost here and you still have to practice, huh? Why don't you practice normally?" Mo Xueyao slapped the back of her head. "If you're done, you can go now. Teacher Qiu has already taken the school band inside."

"Huh, who's going to lead us?"

"Ah Wen."

"Snow Music Band, are you all rested yet? We're about to go in!"

The bus had already turned around and slowly drove away. Although it was fine to stop here, it wasn't good to block someone's doorway, given how big it was.

So it's probably been moved to a more suitable place now.

"Xiao Yao, your keyboard!" When Mo Zhuyou took out her drum kit, she also brought out the electronic keyboard for Mo Xueyao.

The violin case has a sticker on it, which was given to me when I performed at the underground stage last time. It's like the badge you get after beating a gym in Pokémon.

Everyone has a sticker on their instrument bag, so it's easy to tell them apart.

"Let's go, let's go!" Ye Wen urged from the front.

Mo Xueyao and the others gathered together and walked forward.

The sign hanging at the entrance has large, gold-plated characters.

The five characters "Yinping Nursing Home" are prominently displayed on it.

Below that is a line of smaller print that reads "Built in 1995".

It seems this is a newly built nursing home.

It has only been six years since it was built.

The nursing home wasn't very big, but it had lots of green plants, and its overall size was roughly the same as the junior high school Mo Xueyao attended.

In the middle is a six-story building. Although it is not tall, it still has an elevator, and the distance from this building to other places is about the same.

Behind it is a large playground, and in the middle of the playground is a basketball court. It seems that the elderly people living here still have a fulfilling and healthy life.
