Detective: I'm Sato Miwako's Informant

However, after Shiraishi Shu's eyes scanned everyone, he still couldn't find Buggy.

Sensing the anger in Shiraishi Osamu's words, Buggy reluctantly replied:

"It was those two bastards, Shanks and Beckman! They attacked us when we were all exhausted from moving the timber. Those two bastards took advantage of our vulnerability! Captain, you have to avenge us!"

Shiraishi Osamu then realized that Buggy, whom he was looking for, had been standing not far in front of him all along.

However, due to the lack of body parts, his body has become very short, so Shiraishi Xiu did not see him.

At this moment, Buggy was standing still, jumping around incessantly, seemingly trying his best to make Shiraishi Osamu see where he was.

Shiraishi Xiu found him by following Buggy's voice. Although they had been robbed in their time of need, Shiraishi Xiu must have felt very angry.

But when he saw Bucky's body, he couldn't help but laugh.

"Pfft, Bucky, what happened to you?"

The other pirates, including the dozen or so newly joined Denos, all thought they were about to face Shiraishi Osamu's wrath.

Unexpectedly, Shiraishi Xiu burst into laughter, and at that moment, the others finally couldn't help but grin and laugh along with him.

"Hahahaha, Captain, you have to admit, you're actually kind of funny right now. Isn't Shanks your former partner? Why would he take your body away?"

Buggy was speechless upon hearing this, but he couldn't lash out because Shiraishi Osamu was right next to him.

However, he couldn't answer the child with such a low body temperature, while Shiraishi Osamu listened with great interest.

Of course he knew that Buggy had been an apprentice on the ship of the Pirate King Roger. If that's the case, then wasn't Shanks also an apprentice? Shiraishi Osamu instantly became very interested in the guy who had taken Buggy's body. Why not recruit this guy to his own ship?

"Bucky, take me to Shanks, we'll get your body back!"

Although Shiraishi Osamu told Buggy that he was going to help him get back his stolen body, only he knew that he was actually very interested in Shanks.

However, Shiraishi Osamu's actions instantly won over the hearts of all his subordinates present.

They were all sent here because of Shiraishi Osamu's reputation, and now they genuinely want to serve him.

Chapter 0296: Encountering Shanks Again

These people, including Bucky, were all there because of Shiraishi Osamu's fame; not a single one of them genuinely wanted to work for him.

But this short incident made them realize just how loyal and devoted their captain truly was.

The fact that Buggy's body was taken by Shanks can only be attributed to his own lack of strength.

But Shiraishi Xiu landed in front of everyone to help him regain his body. Wasn't this to avenge his subordinate?

This group had just experienced the frustration of being thwarted by those two bastards, Shanks and Beckman.

Unexpectedly, upon returning to the unconscious Captain Shiraishi, he declared that he would lead them to find those two guys and avenge the destruction of their ship.

They knew, of course, that Shiraishi Xiu was not just talking; they were people who always kept their word and did what they said they would do.

Just like when Sengoku and Zephyr came to Fishman Island to capture him, he said that if the World Government sent people again, then Captain Shiraishi Shuya would definitely really go to Mary Geoise.

"Haha, Captain Bucky, you've got your body back!"

"Those two damned guys took advantage of us in our weakened state. They'll soon realize their mistake, hahahaha!"

"Captain, kill those two!"

Bucky's ship was filled with words of praise for Shiraishi Osamu; they all wanted to see their captain make a move.

After all, they weren't part of the last major battle between Fishman Island and Ohara, so they felt very regretful about it.

Since they were going to search for Shanks, the fair-skinned and slender man would not delay in ordering someone to take Bucky's damaged ship for repair.

After using the transported timber to build new ships, he led Bucky and his group to the island that filled them with despair.

This time, they didn't encounter any sea pirates like Deno and his crew causing trouble.

So in less than 10 hours, they arrived at the island where they had met Xiangkes.

"Bucky, take the brothers to some restaurants on the island and get them some food. After all, you guys probably haven't eaten much on this trip!" Shiraishi instructed Bucky, tossing him a bag of coins. He had already noticed the exhaustion on their faces.

0. Requesting flowers.......

Moreover, they rushed back to Fishman Island as soon as they finished their mission, without even thinking about having any entertainment or leisure time.

Shiraishi Osamu would never allow his followers to not even have time to eat.

So, upon landing on the island, he didn't immediately go looking for Shanks, but instead sent them to find a restaurant first.

As for himself, he led Bucky on a stroll around the town.

"Bucky, were you and Shanks both trainees on Roger's ship back then?"

Shiraishi Osamu was walking with Buggy when he looked down at Buggy and asked him a question.

"Hmph, if it weren't for that guy, I wouldn't be in this state now!"

Shiraishi Osamu thought Bucky was referring to his current miserable state, which was even more dwarf-like than a dwarf.

He immediately and angrily answered Shiraishi Osamu's question.

Shiraishi Osamu wisely stopped asking questions, having already gotten the answer he wanted from Buggy's words.

The two of them were now unusually silent, strolling aimlessly through the streets of the small town.

Chapter 0297: You're Looking for Me

"Buckkey, I didn't expect you to come back to this island. Haven't you had enough of being beaten up yet? I just wanted to make things better for you and take your hands and feet back. I didn't expect you to deliver yourself to my doorstep again!"

Suddenly a voice came from behind them, drawing the attention of Buggy and Shiraishi Osamu.

Shiraishi recognized him from Buggy's eyes; this person was probably the Shanks they were talking about.

At this moment, Bucky's face was full of resentment, staring at the red-haired guy as if he were Bucky's father's killer.

And the voice seemed to come from that red-haired guy.

What he just said confirms that he is the Shanksman Bucky mentioned, and that he is the one who took Bucky's body.

The extremely aloof gray-haired man next to him must be Beckman.

"Shanks, you bastard, give my body back right now, or I'll teach you and Beckman a lesson!"

Bucky cursed through gritted teeth from Shanks, but he was also very clear-headed.

If Shiraishi Xiu weren't here, even if he were much stronger, he wouldn't have any way to snatch anything from Shanks.

"Beckman said he'd teach you a lesson, so go ahead and show him just how stupid he is to say that!"

Shanks turned to Beckman, who was standing next to him, and chuckled.

But the tall, gray-haired man showed no intention of making a move. Instead, he calmly spoke:

"Shanks, the Joker said he would teach you a lesson with you, so how did it become that he would teach me a lesson? Besides, wasn't he your former partner? You should do this yourself."

"Hahaha, yes, Beckman!"

Shiraishi Xiu had been watching the three of them the whole time, and he overheard their conversation.

Shiraishi Osamu naturally recognized Shanks, after all, he was once a Marine Admiral and knew a great deal about the pirates who were even slightly famous in the New World.

Although Shanks did not grow into one of the Four Emperors at this time as he would later, his legend still circulates in the New World.

Moreover, Shanks is a morally ambiguous character, and at times he is very kind to the people of the New World.

Sometimes you can see him helping people in distress, but other times he'll rob the people of the New World.

Shiraishi looked at Shanks and Beckman, and the two slowly spoke:

"Shanks is giving you a chance to join my team. I'll let bygones be bygones for what you did to Bucky's body."

Shanks and Beckman then noticed the person next to Bucky.

At first, they saw that there was a man standing next to Bucky, but they mistook him for one of Bucky's men.

I never expected this guy to be so arrogant, wanting the two of them to become his subordinates.

However, when Shanks saw the person who spoke, his face looked very familiar.

It took several seconds for him to realize that this was none other than General Shiraishi Osamu, who had come in to search for the world-famous 3.9-level general.

Then Shanks spoke:

"Admiral Shiraishi Osamu, I never thought you would actually become a pirate, but it's absolutely impossible for me and the pilgrims to join your pirate ship!" Buggy's lips twitched slightly. He didn't expect the captain to invite these two people onto the ship.

What's even more outrageous is that Shanks actually dared to refuse the captain.

Chapter 0298: Beating Shanks

"Boat……"

Just as Buggy was about to speak, Shiraishi Osamu raised his hand to stop him. Shiraishi Osamu naturally knew what Buggy was about to say.

Before he could even finish speaking, Shiraishi raised his hand to stop him, preventing him from continuing. He glared fiercely at Shanks and Beckman and said:

"Captain Shanks invited you aboard his ship because he thinks highly of you, but I didn't expect you to dare to refuse."

Even so, Bucky still hoped that Shanks would refuse again on the surface, so that she would also get a lesson from the captain.

Although Bucky 10 also very much hopes that Shanks can become his partner again, it doesn't affect the captain's beating of Shanks until then.

"So that's why you dared to come back to me, Buggy. You joined the famous Shiraishi Osamu pirate crew. But even so, do you think I'd be like you?"

Shanks didn't bother to cover Bucky's face and immediately started to mock him, while at the same time he joined Beckman in attacking him.

Now that Shiraishi Xiu is here, there is absolutely no way they can escape.

They now only have one option: to quickly defeat Shiraishi Shu and leave the island.

Otherwise, even if they didn't join Shiraishi Shu's pirate ship, they would definitely have been taken away by Shiraishi Shu anyway.

Beckman saw Shanks's unrestrained gaze, so the instant Shanks charged forward, Beckman pulled out Huaijian's pistol and fired at Shiraishi Xiu.

But how could the two of them possibly be a match for Shiraishi Osamu now?

He first dodged Beckman's bullet that was flying towards him by dodging to the left, and Shiraishi Xiu did not move an inch from his spot throughout the entire process.

He simply dodged the speeding bullet by turning his head to the left just as it was about to hit his head.

Shanks, who rushed out, knew that Beckman's move was something Shiraishi Xiu couldn't do anything about.

He drew the long sword from his waist and swung it at Shiraishi Xiu.

Shiraishi Xiu merely gave a contemptuous sneer at the long sword that Xiangke Sina swung at him, and then his entire body fell to the left.
