The Strange Cat from Fuuto

After speaking, Serena nodded slightly to Sister Fa and then left the house on her own. Sister Fa watched Serena leave before turning to look at Miku after she had completely left the house.
“I may not know the details, but like Serena said, I want to know why you won’t tell me!”
Miku gave Fa Jie a deep look and grinned, "Because you're too weak right now, too weak to even know the truth!"
"That's all?"
"That's all. In this cruel world, the weak have no rights!"
Chapter 43: I told you to wake him up, not to pour water on him!
"In this cruel world, the weak have no rights... right?!"
As the mage walked out of Serena's mansion, she glanced back at the grand estate behind her, her expression complex. Miku's words were deeply etched into her heart, leaving her with a profound sense of powerlessness.
"Haruko, you..."
"It's alright, Alex. I'm fine!"
After giving Alex a smile, Sister Fa walked ahead of the crowd, but her back view revealed a sense of sadness.
Inside the house, Miku squatted on the roof, watching Fa Jie and her group walk further and further away, while Iqi below watched the cat on the roof and jumped up and down anxiously.
"Things here are settled for now. We can leave the rest to Medusa; following up any further will attract the White Demon's attention." Miku muttered to herself as she jumped off the roof and landed next to Iggy. "Next, it's time to find Beast Lord. Hopefully, that guy can bring me some good news!"
Miku, who had made up his mind to go out, had to let Serena know before he left, otherwise that girl would always use the curfew as an excuse to cause him trouble.
"Going out again?"
"Hmm, there's a wild beast running rampant in the street outside. I'm going to go check it out."
"A beast?" Serena gave Miku a meaningful look, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Then what are you?"
"I?"
Miku tilted his head, revealing his sharp teeth, and grinned, "I'm a ferocious beast!"
......
I'm so hungry!
Beast Master walked down the street with a travel bag slung over one shoulder. Since arriving in Torii-zaka, apart from the unlucky Guremlin who ran into Miku's gun and Medusa who was once buried underground by Miku, he had hardly encountered any Phantoms.
The last time he was fed was when Miku took some time to come over and throw a few ghouls at him to help maintain his chimera state and prevent him from suffering a backlash.
Of course, Beast Master was unaware that Miku was feeding him.
Furthermore, due to Miku's influence, the Phoenix was buried underground, and Medusa went to play her sister games. All the Phantoms scattered throughout Torii-zaka concealed their identities, making it even more difficult for Beast to find Phantoms to feed the chimera within him.
This is the best entry point for Miku!
"No matter how much I eat, it doesn't relieve my hunger!"
After the Beast Master threw the bamboo skewer in his hand into the trash can, the worry in his eyes intensified, but he quickly cheered up again.
"Danger and opportunity coexist. We must not give up until we have reached the end of our rope!"
Beast Master, patting himself on the back and ignoring the strange looks from those around him, was about to take a step when he suddenly stumbled and almost fell to the ground.
The Beast Lord, having regained his footing, looked on in confusion as he searched for the reason, only to see a white, winged, malleable beast hovering in mid-air, watching him.
"So it was you who did this!"
Suddenly realizing what was happening, the Beast Master crouched down and lunged forward, trying to grab the white Garuda, but he missed.
"Boom!"
Beast Lord, who had fallen heavily to the ground, clutched his nose and groaned, "Bastard, how dare you play tricks on me!"
"Bah, bah, bah!"
The white Garuda, emitting a sharp cry, circled the Beast Lord for a moment before choosing a direction and flying away.
"Stop! Don't run!"
Having suffered a minor setback, Beast Lord relentlessly followed behind the white Garuda. However, since the shape-forming beast must have been released by a magician, regardless of the other party's purpose, he had to catch up and find out the truth.
Using malleable creatures to play tricks on people for no reason is sometimes a form of provocation.
Having spent years exploring ancient sites in the wild, Beast Master naturally possessed excellent physical fitness. Following behind the white Garuda, he didn't even break a sweat as he made his way to a deserted park.
The park looked somewhat dilapidated, with its entrances and exits blocked by debris. The brick-paved paths inside the park were covered with withered branches and leaves, and the flower beds were full of dead flowers and leaves.
Ignoring the obstacles blocking the entrance, Beast Lord leaped into the park by pushing off the railing with both hands. The white Garuda, seeing Beast Lord following, suddenly flapped its wings and disappeared in front of Beast Lord.
"How cunning!"
With his hands on his hips, Beast Master calmed his breathing and began to survey his surroundings.
"What was that guy's purpose in bringing me here?"
As the Beast Lord frowned, he heard the sound of rolling stones. Several gray stones, about the size of bottle caps, were thrown out and rolled into view of him.
"this..."
As the magic stone expanded, one ghoul after another stood up; a rough count revealed at least a dozen of them.
If Sister Fa saw so many ghouls, she would definitely have a headache, but Beast Lord's eyes lit up.
"Haha, you've arrived just in time!"
Without hesitation, Beastmaster materialized his driver, rubbing his hands together. "I don't know what's going on, but filling my stomach is the most important thing right now!" Beastmaster, wearing the ring, drawled, "Henshin!"
With a lion's roar, the portal to the Beast Driver opened, and a golden magic circle sprang out, passing through Beast Lord's body.
"I won't stand on ceremony for this feast!"
The lion statue in the driver opened its mouth wide, and the hilt of the dice-shaped saber extended. The Beast Lord, who grabbed the hilt, drew the saber and charged towards the ghouls.
While Beastmaster and the ghouls were engaged in a chaotic battle, Miku in his wild form, followed by Fenrir-transformed Iggy, stood not far away, watching Beastmaster's battle with a smile.
"Eat up, eat more, so we can talk things over!"
Miku, with his outstretched arm, let the white Garuda rest on his finger, slowly waiting for the Beast Lord to finish his meal.
"Hey!"
As the Beastmaster spun around, he slashed out with his dice-shaped saber. In the golden light of the blade, all the ghouls were swallowed up and exploded into balls of fire.
"Glug, glug, glug..."
The golden magic circle, imbued with magical power, disappeared into the driver on Beast's waist, and swallowing sounds emanated from it.
"Slap, slap, slap, slap..."
The sudden applause caught the attention of Beast Master. With his sword in his right hand, Beast Master looked in the direction of the sound and saw Miku, whose mask was branded with two fang-like patterns.
"Ah!!!" The Beast Lord screamed and recalled Miku. It was this guy who had given him a big meal for nothing. After the Phantom was eaten by the Chimera, the Chimera behaved itself for a long time.
This left a deep impression on Beast Master.
"It is you!"
Beast Lord, striding towards Miku, frowned upon seeing the white Garuda resting in Miku's hand: "Did you release this malleable beast?"
"Yes, I sent out a malleable beast so that I could meet you!"
Miku, having reclaimed the white Garuda ring, shrugged. "I hope you don't mind." "How could I not mind!" Beast Lord, pointing a finger at Miku, suddenly changed his tone: "But considering we just had a big meal, I'll forgive you!"
"So, it seems I was wrong after all." Miku chuckled and pulled out three more magic stones from behind his back; these were his last remaining supplies. "If you're still hungry, I have three left. Do you want them?"
Miku, who was holding three magic stones between his fingers, flicked his wrist, and the magic stones fell to the ground and turned into gray ghouls.
"Roar!"
With a roar, the ghoul walked stiffly toward Beast Master. As Beast Master dodged the ghoul's spear with his side, he swung his dice-shaped saber in his right hand, cutting the ghoul to the ground.
"So it was you who released those ghouls!"
Beast Master, realizing what was happening, spoke in disbelief, while Miku spread his hands: "It wasn't just today, it was me the other times too!"
"what?"
Beast Master frowned deeply after kicking a ghoul. There's no such thing as a free lunch; sometimes, gifts from others come with ulterior motives.
"Ugh, this is so annoying!"
Once again harassed by the ghouls, Beastmaster swung his dice-shaped saber fiercely. In the dazzling light of the blade, three ghouls turned to ashes, and the magic they contained was also devoured by Beastmaster.
"Was it you those other times too?" The Beast Lord, having deactivated his transformation, still frowned. "What exactly do you want?"
"I just want to talk to you about something, about the chimera inside you, and about you!"
"I have no interest in discussing business with people who hide their identities!"
With his arms crossed, Beast Master turned his head away. His meaning was clear: he had never seen Miku's true face since their first meeting. Having been a wanderer for many years, Beast Master was not a naive newcomer to society, so he naturally harbored suspicions.
"Alright then." Realizing that Beast Lord's attitude was resolute, Miku shrugged helplessly and deactivated his transformation.
A magic circle with a wild, fiery red color passed through Miku, and a round-headed cat fell from mid-air and stood steadily in front of Beast Lord.
Iggy returned to normal, transforming from a giant wolf back into a somewhat goofy husky.
"A cat?!"
Beastmaster stared wide-eyed at Miku scratching his ear at his feet in surprise. Miku curled his lip and said, "Yeah, a cat. Do you have a problem with that?"
"No, it's just that it's too much for a cat to be a magician..." The Beast Master continued with an awkward laugh, "It was an accident!"
Beast Master crouched down to align his gaze with Miku's. After a long pause, he finally spoke, "So, little kitty, what do you want to talk to me about?"
"Do you want cat food?"
"Don't talk to me like that!" Miku raised an eyebrow, noticing a hint of doting in Beast Lord's tone, and opened his mouth to spit out a fireball.
The fireball hurtled straight toward Beast Lord's face, exploding before he could react, the tiny sparks mixed with thick black smoke engulfing his head.
"cough!"
When the thick smoke cleared, the spiky-haired Beast Master, his face covered in soot, opened his mouth and exhaled a puff of black smoke, revealing a set of big white teeth: "My God, the cat can breathe fire!"
"Pfft!"
Beast Lord fell straight backward, his eyes rolled back, and he collapsed to the ground unconscious. Miku shook his head: "You asked for this!"
