The Strange Cat from Fuuto

But an ordinary person is still an ordinary person. With just a casual wave of his hand, Nara Shunpei was sent flying.
Like carrying chicks, the two Phantoms carried four Nara Shunpei.
"Stop, Beast, or we can't be sure of their lives!"
“If you don’t stop, I can’t guarantee your safety!” In a flash of starlight, a star scepter with a bright star at the top was placed across the neck of the Phantom.
"Heh, although I don't know where you're from, do you think you can defeat so many of us by yourself?"
Relying on his superior numbers, Pyramid Head spoke with impunity. Miku looked around and saw Phantoms of various shapes and sizes, their faces full of ferocity, staring at him menacingly.
"You guys seem to have me figured out!"
Miku chuckled as he retracted his scepter. "Heh heh, looks like I've been underestimated. Really too..."
A few seconds later, several explosions rang out in succession.
Stepping on the embers of the Phantom, now reduced to nothingness, Miku slowly uttered the rest of his words: "Interesting!"
Pyramid Head stared at Miku in disbelief. In just a few seconds, his four companions had turned to ashes, without even the power to fight back.
The dazed, triangular-headed man stared at the smiling Miku as if he were seeing the most terrifying demon king.
"Your turn is next!"
Miku tapped his scepter lightly in his palm and strolled toward the remaining Phantoms, a cruel smile playing on his lips.
At the doorway, Iggy sat crouched, the commotion inside keeping him completely undisturbed.
The aftershocks of the battle whipped up a gust of wind that howled outwards, and Iggy, his fur swaying, opened his mouth and yawned.
"Awoo..."
Thirty seconds later, Miku walked out of the shop, leaning on his scepter.
"Boom!"
After the scepter struck the ground, a glimmer of starlight appeared, and Miku and Iggy's figures disappeared simultaneously at the entrance of the Shadow Hall.
"How did this guy become so strong?" The beast girl, having deactivated her transformation, stared blankly in the direction where Miku had disappeared, muttering to herself.
As for Wajima Shigeru, he said with a complicated expression, "As expected of Serena's choice, she is indeed very strong!"
........
"Let me go!"
"Let me go!"
"What exactly do you want?!"
Alex, writhing and twisting, stared intently at Medusa with eyes full of hatred, while Medusa remained indifferent, letting Alex shout wherever he pleased.
Medusa, with a strange smile on her face, arrived at the cave where the sage was hiding, which was also the headquarters of all Phantoms.
After passing through the veil-like barrier, Medusa walked through the damp cave, smelling the moisture in the air and listening to the dripping water. Everything that used to bother her now felt incredibly wonderful, and her mood was equally wonderful.
"As long as I offer this girl to the Sage, I will become the Sage's most valued person!"
Medusa, secretly thrilled, was unaware that she was stepping into a deep pit that Miku had dug for her, a pit from which she could not possibly escape.
Soon Medusa led Alex to the deepest part of the cave, where the sages were hiding.
Behind the familiar gauze curtains was the large bed where the sage usually rested, but when Medusa excitedly arrived at the bedside, it was completely empty.
The cold bed was devoid of warmth, and there wasn't even the scent of a sage. It was clear that the other person hadn't been here for several days!
"Is the Sage still not here?"
Medusa, her snake-like hair retracting behind her head, casually tossed Alex to the ground, then turned and sat on the bed, her eyes filled with a hint of melancholy.
"Why isn't the Sage here?"
Medusa, muttering to herself, crossed her legs and stared blankly at Alex, resting her chin on her hand. She had come over with great joy, having spent so much effort to obtain the Philosopher's Stone, only to find that the Philosopher was not there.
Moreover, she hadn't seen the sage in the previous few days, which made her somewhat uneasy.
Alex continued to stare at Medusa with eyes full of hatred and anger, but Medusa paid no attention. This little girl posed zero threat to her; she wasn't even as intimidating as a snarling kitten.
"Never mind, let's take care of the important business first!"
Medusa, her eyes turning cold, slowly stood up and approached Alex step by step.
"Little girl, your time is up!"
Medusa's sharp claws, raised with her right hand, shimmered with purple light. Alex watched in despair as Medusa pressed closer, his hands bracing against the ground as he struggled to move backward.
"Alright, hand over the Philosopher's Stone from within you. I will offer it to the Sage, making him a supreme being!"
What exactly is the Philosopher's Stone?
Alex, who had some doubts in his mind, was quickly grabbed by Medusa. Medusa grabbed Alex with one hand and ruthlessly tore open the clothes on Alex's chest, revealing a large area of snow-white and soft skin.
"Bye-bye, little girl!"
His right hand stabbed down like a knife, but ripples spread across Alex's chest.
"Boom!"
The claws, powerful enough to shatter gold and jade, failed to harm a single hair on Alex's head. Alex stared blankly at his unscathed chest.
"How could this be?"
Undeterred, Medusa stabbed again, each strike producing a dull thud, like a dagger stabbing an anvil.
"Why, why, why?"
Medusa, who was attacking fiercely, roared madly, "I just want more love from the Sage!"
But she still couldn't break through Alex's defenses.
Finally, Medusa stopped, panting, and looked at Alex, recalling Miku's words: "To retrieve the Philosopher's Stone, you need the sharpest weapon, or an assistant capable of cutting through space!"
"Sharp weapons..."
"A helper capable of cutting through space..."
Medusa muttered to herself, a glint of light in her eyes, for she remembered a fellow who had been imprisoned deep within a cave for causing a great disturbance.
"If it's that guy, there won't be any problem!"
"must!"
Medusa, her mind a jumble of thoughts, grabbed Alex and headed toward the depths of the cave. But before she had gone more than a few steps, a voice filled with suppressed rage rang out.
"What are you doing, Medusa?"
"Sage?!"
........
Deep within the cave, magical light shone, filling every corner.
The materialized magic was murky and filthy, with thick smoke rising from it, making the place seem both alluring and sinister.
Four magical chains extended from the cave walls, tightly binding the long-haired youth with his head bowed.
Strands of long hair obscured his face, revealing a pair of gloomy eyes in deep-set sockets. His high, straight nose and thin, long lips gave him a mean look, and his murky eyes added to the aura of madness emanating from him.
"Tap, tap, tap, tap..."
The crisp sound of footsteps echoed in the cave, and a figure approached unhurriedly, glancing at the young man who was bound by magical chains.
"Hey, you're Regio?"
"..."
Receiving no reply, the figure showed no anger, but simply said to itself, "Fine, whether you are or not, you can be thankful today!"
"I'm so glad I came..."
The figure raised its arm, extended its fingers, and shot out four golden flames that illuminated the cave.
A strange glint flashed in the golden-red eyes of the tall, slender figure, both demonic and divine: "And then, you are free!"
Before the words had even finished, and without the young man called Region looking up, the cave returned to silence.
If it weren't for the magical chains that had been burned through, probably no one would believe that someone had been here.
"Hmph..."
Regios, letting out two cold laughs, ignored the newcomer's identity and slowly disappeared into the cave with his back hunched over.
Chapter Seventy: Medusa's Tears!
"What are you doing, Medusa?"
The sage, who suddenly appeared by the bedside, lifted the gauze curtain and slowly walked towards Medusa.
His seemingly calm words were like the surface of a sea with hidden undercurrents; they appeared calm, but in reality, they were turbulent and contained unknown rage and danger.
"Sage!"
Medusa, who cried out in surprise, did not notice the clue in the words of the sage, Fumiko, and instead ran excitedly towards him.
During the process, he didn't forget to hand the Alex he was holding to the other party, flattering him like a treasure: "Sage, I have found this for you!"
"This?" The sage tilted his head and said calmly, "What do you want with a little girl like this?"
"She's no ordinary girl. This little girl has something very important to you hidden inside her body. Once you can remove it, no one will be able to stop you from now on!"
Medusa, eager to speak, seemed afraid that the sage would not believe her. Her right hand, glowing with a dark purple magical light, plunged fiercely into Alex's chest.
As before, a dull sound echoed out, and ripples spread across Alex's body, blocking all the attacks.
Upon witnessing this scene, the sage Fueki Kanade's blue eyes blazed with fury, and his gaze grew colder as he slowly clenched his fists.
“My lord, you see, this little girl herself has no magical fluctuations, yet she was able to withstand my full-force attack.”
After the first test, Medusa handed Alex forward again. The sage took Alex without a word and held him in his arms. His movements were gentle and careful, and his eyes were full of tenderness and pity.
Alex's face was extremely pale, his lips were bloodless, and his wispy hair was disheveled.
At this moment, she was like a rag doll, letting Medusa do whatever she wanted to her.
