The Strange Cat from Fuuto

"It's because you keep doing this kind of thing that you're being harassed by strange people!"
"Father, shouldn't we let Wakana take over a portion of the family business?"
"Letting her be in charge of the distribution of Gaia Memory will also benefit our family!"
Saeko lectures Wakana in a condescending manner, seemingly a friendly instruction from an older sister to her younger sister. But what Saeko is really thinking is something only she knows!
"Shut up!"
Wakana slammed her hand on the table and stood up angrily. Staring intently at Saeko, she said, somewhat out of control, "My affairs are none of your business!"
"Is this how you treat your sister?!"
Faced with Saeko's questioning, Wakana took out her own memory and angrily pressed it.
Clay dolls!
Wakana, by inserting her hand into the Earth Memory Core behind her back, caused a bright yellow, moon-shaped pattern to quickly spread out, eventually revealing a large clay doll to everyone. The surrounding servants all bowed their heads, perfectly embodying the three principles of the Sonozaki family.
"Looks like you're determined to rebel to the very end!"
Saeko quickly inserted her own memory. After the crimson rectangular halo overlapped, Saeko transformed into a red monster resembling a queen bee, with a lower body like a bee's genitals and a large, blinking eye at the end of her tail. Saeko floated in the air, facing Wakana's angry attack, and casually shattered her with an energy ball.
Just as the two sisters were about to start fighting, another memory beeped. Miku had somehow already had the EarthDrive fastened by the old man. As the old man inserted the saber-toothed tiger memory into the EarthDrive, Miku leaped high from the dining table. With a stretching motion, a ferocious beast, shaking its head, stood before everyone in the room.
"Roar!"
With a roar, Miku pounced on Saeko, displaying the saber-toothed tiger's incredible speed to the fullest. Before Saeko could react, she was sent flying backward as if struck by a heavy blow.
"Roar!"
Miku, roaring madly, completely abandoned his usual rationality and transformed into a completely insane beast. He approached Saeko in a few steps, his right hand, covered by a thick arm guard, hammering at Saeko like a pile driver.
"You can't hurt Wakana...!!"
With a low growl, Miku carried out his actions, while Wakana, standing to the side, blankly deactivated her transformation, staring at Miku's blurry figure with a strange light in her eyes!
Saeko was knocked out of her transformation by the blow, and the Forbidden Memory was thrown away, landing at the old man's feet. The old man bent down to pick up the Memory and shouted at Miku, who was still about to attack.
"Alright, Miku, stop!"
Chapter Fifteen: Unleashing the Wild
Upon hearing the old man's words, Miku, in his transformed state, released Saeko. His bloodshot eyes clearly reflected the old man's image. Seeing the old man's expression, Miku silently released Saeko and deactivated his transformation.
You're the boss, I'll listen to you!
She nimbly leaped onto the dining table and looked down at Saeko, who lay sprawled on the floor. The fear in Saeko's eyes hadn't yet faded. The old man disliked seeing his daughters fighting, so he had Miku intervene. Seeing that his goal had been achieved, he readily dismissed Miku. After all, they were all his own flesh and blood; he couldn't show favoritism.
"Saeko, you must understand that the memory is a bond of kinship within our family, and it cannot be used to harm our family!"
"Ruocai, it's about time you learned to grow up and stop acting like a child!"
"Yes, Father!"
Saeko and Wakana quickly nodded in agreement, while Miku continued to squat on the dining table to watch how things would unfold.
Kirihiko quickly came over to help Saeko up. The situation had been too sudden; before he could even react, Saeko had already been pinned down and given a good beating by Miku. Saeko stood up, straightened her clothes, and left without saying a word, with Kirihiko following closely behind.
"Wakana, it's about time you considered taking over the family business!"
"After all, you're not young anymore!"
"You should also think more about the family!"
The old man approached Wakana with a kind smile. In his eyes, Wakana would always be a child who never grew up. In addition, for other reasons, the old man also showed more favoritism towards Wakana.
"Father, I will definitely resolve this matter!"
"Please stop talking!"
After saying that, he turned and left, leaving Miku and the old man staring at each other. After nodding to the old man, Miku quickly followed Wakana.
"Miku, protect her!"
Miku paused for a moment, then walked forward again, while the old man showed a gratified expression.
"You piece of trash!"
In Saeko and Kirihiko's bedroom, she slapped Kirihiko across the face. She angrily exclaimed, "You just watched me get beaten up by Miku?! Are you even a man?!"
Wu Yan kept his head down and remained silent, but his eyes, hidden by his bangs, were filled with resentment!
"Why does my father always favor Wakana? Why can't he notice me?"
Saeko's breathing became rapid, her full chest heaving violently, and soon the room was filled with loud smashing sounds.
Late at night, a light was still on in the study. The once tidy desk was now a mess, piled high with fairy tale books. Miku was slumped over one of them, completely absorbed in its contents. "Creak!" The door hinges made a sickeningly loud sound, and the old man, still in his pajamas, walked in.
"That's rare! You're actually reading a book!"
"Isn't it usually learned from television?!"
The old man came over to Miku's side, glanced at the book Miku was reading, and said, "Oh, it's 'Sleeping Beauty'?!"
"This book couldn't be more perfect for you!!"
The old man stepped forward and pinched Miku's nose, and the latter raised its tail and rubbed against the old man's hand.
Why...do...humans...hurt each other?!
The bell around Miku's neck jingled automatically without any wind, and a puzzled look appeared in his big eyes. The old man sighed, picked up the fairy tale book, stroked the smooth pages, and looked at the bright illustrations.
"As long as humanity exists, the struggle will never end!"
The old man sighed and stared at Miku as he slowly spoke: "Miku, as a member of the Sonozaki family, you must understand our responsibility. Our goal is to make the world a place without conflict!"
"We are a family chosen by the Earth. We are born with a great responsibility, which is engraved in the bones of the Sonozaki family. Even if you are a cat, you will always be a member of the Sonozaki family!"
"Yes, I... I... remember!"
The old man slowly walked out of the study and gently closed the door, leaving Miku alone in the study. Under the light, Miku's shadow was projected onto the bookshelf, appearing somewhat blurry.
Looking at the fairy tale book in front of him, staring at the colorful illustrations, Miku sighed inwardly, "The old man still doesn't quite trust me!"
The next day, the radio station was completely under surveillance, with officers constantly moving about. In a room outside the broadcasting booth, Officer Renno was discussing matters with Wakana when Makura pushed open the door and said to Renno, "The counter-tracking device is installed!"
"Then please stall for time when the prisoner calls!"
"Yes!"
After watching Wakana enter the broadcasting booth, Miku squatted on the table, her emerald green eyes reflecting the entire room. "Ah, no, my illness has flared up again!" Ageo clutched his stomach and hurriedly ran out, Miku's gaze fixed on Ageo's retreating figure. "That strange smell has gotten even stronger!"
"How strange!"
Thinking about it, Miku jumped off the table and walked out of the room. When Renno saw Miku, he asked with some doubt, "Princess Wakana's cat ran away, is it okay?!" Ignoring the noise behind him, Miku leisurely walked out of the radio station, and Shotaro brushed past him along the way.
"Did you two get involved too?"
"But it's okay!"
Watching Shotaro's disappearing figure, Miku let out a howl. A middle-aged man in a suit respectfully approached Miku. Miku looked at this guy who had been assigned to help him by the old man, and a bell rang out: "Your mission is to help me... transform!"
"Yes, Lord Miku!"
The middle-aged man bowed his head and agreed, following closely behind Miku. Miku didn't pay much attention to the guy the old man had sent. The old man's words last night had given Miku a sense of reassurance. Although he knew the old man still had some doubts about him, having his position acknowledged by the old man would greatly reduce the risks Miku would face in the future.
"Now all we have to do is wait for the fish to take the bait!"
In the broadcasting room, Shotaro suddenly burst in and said provocatively, "Since you call yourself a true fan, why are you dawdling like this? Why don't you just give Princess Wakana the answers to the third and fourth questions together!"
"I can do it without you telling me!"
Shotaro's provocation was heard by the other party, who spoke irritably and then unilaterally hung up the phone.
"What did you mean before?!"
Wakana, her face full of displeasure, questioned Shotaro. Shotaro, with his hands clasped in front of his stomach, respectfully replied, "Please trust me and my partner!"
"My partner and I will definitely find the culprit!"
Just then, Philip's voice came through the phone that Shotaro had placed aside, "I know their target. Their target is South Wind Island Park!"
"Really? Then I'll head over right now!"
Wakana watched Shotaro's departing figure, took out her phone, dialed a number, and said, "The location is South Wind Island Park!"
Without waiting for the other person's reaction, he hung up the phone and stood by the window, gazing out at the other side.
"An interesting detective!"
Nanfeng Island Park, arguably one of the largest amusement parks in Fengdu, is beloved by locals for its mission to bring joy and laughter to visitors. However, today, the usual laughter and cheers have turned into screams and wails. A grayish-brown figure with an iron ball in its right hand is relentlessly damaging the gas pipe connections. The iron ball in its right hand rubs violently against a lamppost, sparks fly, and the leaking gas is ignited.
"Roar!"
With a roar, Miku appeared before its opponent. Looking at the towering pillar of fire, Miku grinned maliciously, "Finally... caught you...!"
"No matter who you are, don't even think about ruining my plans!"
"This is a gift I'm presenting to Princess Wakana!"
With a flick of his right hand, the iron-gray hybrid ball, linked by a long chain, swung towards Miku with unstoppable force. What appeared as a menacing iron ball to an ordinary person was, to Miku, a butterfly he could easily catch. Miku nimbly dodged the ball, arching his back and overlapping his left and right hands to form a ferocious beast's maw.
"call!"
The opponent's iron ball suddenly changed direction and lashed back, but it struck a phantom that dissipated like a bubble. "What?" The iron-gray dopant exclaimed in disbelief. After retracting the iron ball, sparks suddenly flew from its back. "Whoa!" With a fierce attack, an iron ring on the dopant's back was split in two, the cut perfectly smooth.
Feeling the pain in his back, he immediately turned around, only to see nothing behind him. "What's going on?!" Before he could finish speaking, another fierce attack struck.
Like a mouse under a cat's paw, the iron-gray hybrid was manipulated at Miku's mercy. At this moment, only a trace of rationality remained in Miku's blood-red eyes behind his golden mask; the rest was nothing but overwhelming cruelty and savagery.
Miku's well-thought-out idea was to allow himself to be completely immersed in wildness. Suppression is less effective than guidance; constant control will only lead to regression. A wolf kept at home for too long becomes a mongrel. Constantly suppressing his wildness would only turn Miku into a domestic cat, not to mention that his memory is that of a top-tier ferocious beast from prehistoric times.
"Be...torn...to...by...me!"
Miku roared as he revealed himself, raising his right arm high, the claws on it gleaming with a sharp, cold light as they extended three inches. He then landed on all fours, maximizing his speed.
"boom!"
After a roar, Miku leaped high into the air, like a tiger pouncing on its prey. The claw blade on his right arm tore through the thick armor of the opponent's neck. Amidst the burst of fire, the iron-gray on the hybrid's body turned into a gray with a heavy aura of death.
"stop!"
Shotaro, arriving late, transformed into W, immediately switching to Gale Trigger and unleashing a barrage of emerald green energy blasts. Upon hearing the sound, Miku used her left hand to gain leverage against the large dopant, deftly flipping herself and cowering behind it.
