Dragon Ball, simultaneously traversing countless worlds

Zheng Zha chimed in, "Yes, there's strength in numbers. In a dangerous place like Nightmare Space, it's best to help each other."

Weston and White Night shook their heads, having different opinions.

"I'm sorry, I don't trust you."

"I'm used to being alone."

Luo Yan pulled out a temporary team contract and said, "It's normal that you don't trust us, people you've only just met. Not to mention you, I'm actually not comfortable with it either."

However, I happen to have a temporary team contract here. Once everyone signs the contract after system verification, there shouldn't be any problems!

Temporary team contract: Only one contract can be used per mission, and it can be used to form a team with other reincarnators without any limit on the number of players.

Squad members cannot attack each other. Loot or treasure chests obtained together can be stored in the squad space for later distribution.

Mainline mission progress is shared, as are sideline and hidden mission progress.

Before the mission ends, members in a party cannot leave the world without permission, and forced exit scrolls are ineffective.

……

The temporary team contract, apart from the drawback that it can only be used in one mission and disbands upon returning to the space, does a perfect job in ensuring mutual trust among team members. The restrictions are also very strict, enough to ensure that members who have signed the contract cannot betray their teammates.

Luo Yan took out the contract, and Feng Wujue and Zheng Zha immediately signed their names. After hesitating for a while, Weiston and Bai Ye also signed the contract.

They were worried that if they didn't sign the contract, they would be isolated and attacked by the person who did, which is why they hesitated to sign it.

"Alright, now that we're all on the same side, let's discuss how to complete the main mission!" Luo Yan said with a hearty laugh.

Chapter 130 Hunter Exam

"Although Hunter x Hunter has a large number of characters, the main plot is not complicated. The entire plot consists of four parts: the Hunter Exam Arc, the Phantom Troupe Arc, the Game Arc, the Chimera Ant Arc, and the King Selection Arc."

"None of the Phantom Troupe arc, Chimera Ant arc, Game arc, and King Selection arc will affect our mission this time."

"We only need to focus on the Hunter Exam arc."

"The plot of the Hunter Exam is very simple: Gon meets the main characters during the exam, is targeted by Hisoka, the Toilet God of War, takes the exam, passes the exam, visits the Zoldyck family, and finally starts his journey at the Heavens Arena."

"In the exam, regarding the characters in the storyline, besides the main characters and the examiners from the association, the ones we should pay the most attention to are Hisoka and Illumi."

Feng Wujue then recounted the events from his memory to everyone.

After listening, Zheng Zha said, "Right now, is our first step to finding the actual examination location?"

"No, we need to figure out which Hunter Exam this is first."

Feng Wujue explained, "If it's the 286th session, then it's the session where Xisuo killed more than 20 contestants and seriously injured the examiners."

"If it's the 288th session, then it's the session where Killua single-handedly defeated everyone, swept all the candidates, and was the only one who passed."

Feng Wujue asked, "Do you think we newbies are a match for Hisoka and Killua, who have already awakened Nen?"

The four of them shook their heads in unison. Apart from Luo Yan, who was a cheat, the strongest among them were Bai Ye and Zheng Zha.

Both of them completed a novice-to-official mission and a full-fledged mission. This Hunter World is their second full-fledged mission world.

In his previous mission, Bai Ye obtained the Dragon Slayer Blade and inherited the Shadow of Annihilation, making him comparable in strength to Hanzo among the examinees.

Zheng Zha obtained a low-level vampire bloodline, giving him strength and agility far exceeding that of ordinary people. His strength was roughly equivalent to that of Xiao Jie among the examinees.

But Hanzo and Gon, who haven't awakened their Nen abilities, are no match for Hisoka and Killua, who have.

Feng Wujue returned to the topic: "Therefore, only the 287th class in 1999 had the highest probability of obtaining a Hunter License."

Everyone nodded.

Spoilers ahead! The year the main characters participated in, passing the exam was easy. Even though strong fighters like Hisoka and Illumi were still involved, it was still the year with the highest pass rate.

"Then how do we determine which grade it is now?" Zheng Zha asked.

Everyone looked at Zhengzha speechlessly. Feng Wujue had already said it was 1999. Why not just ask any passerby for the date?

After asking the question, Zheng Zha clearly realized he had made a fool of himself. He awkwardly scratched the back of his head, then grabbed a passerby and asked about the time of day.

I learned that the current time is January 7, 1999.

Feng Wujue said seriously, "It seems we don't need to wait for the main characters at the port anymore. Today is the last day for registration, and the main characters should have already arrived at the Fierce Fox's house, or even been taken to the actual examination venue. We need to speed up and head to the examination location."

"Oh, are we heading towards the cedar trees on the opposite mountaintop?" Zheng Zha could barely remember a bit of the plot. He remembered that the main characters left the port, headed towards the cedar trees, and then encountered the old woman solving riddles and a family of fierce foxes.

Feng Wujue shook his head and said, "No, let's go directly to the exam location."

"You still remember the exam location?" Luo Yan asked in surprise.

"Of course, I have a reading addiction. Even when reading instruction manuals, I have to read them word by word. In addition, I have a pretty good memory, so I still remember the location of the first exam clearly."

"Where?" Weston asked with interest.

Weston, also known as Fang Lin, is a character with extremely high intelligence. When he sees Feng Wujue, it's as if he's seeing a kindred spirit.

“A small restaurant opposite number 2-5-10 on E's Street in Saba City,” Feng Wujue replied.

"Impressive!" Weston clapped lightly, and the others looked at Feng Wujue with admiration.

"It seems we have a strategist for our team," Luo Yan laughed. "Now that we know the location, let's set off!"

In the original story, the main characters needed a fierce fox to guide them to the exam location.

However, Luo Yan and his group simply bought a map locally, stole a car, and successfully arrived at the hunter exam location in Saba City.

Then, inside the restaurant, Feng Wujue accurately gave the restaurant owner the secret code, and the owner then opened the underground elevator for them, which led directly to the examination hall.

The elevator descended for several minutes before stopping at floor B100.

The elevator doors opened, and countless fierce-looking and strangely shaped people outside turned their gazes toward the five of them.

Most people would feel pressured being stared at silently by so many people, but unfortunately, apart from Zheng Zha who felt somewhat uncomfortable, the others remained calm and completely ignored these malicious gazes.

Seeing their performance, the other candidates realized that these five were no ordinary people, and no one stepped forward to provoke them.

The five people stepped out of the elevator, their eyes scanning the crowd.

All reincarnators in the Nightmare Space have a Nightmare Mark within their bodies. As long as they don't spend points to shield the mark, they can vaguely sense each other when they get within 100 meters of each other.

In this underground examination room, none of the five noticed the other reincarnators.

Zheng Zha said happily, "We seem to be the first group to arrive here! But we came too early and didn't see Xiao Jie and the others."

Bai Ye said, "When you see Xiao Jie and the others, it means the exam is about to begin. All the reincarnators who arrive after Xiao Jie and the others may be eliminated directly."

"But the main characters haven't arrived yet, so we can't get on their good side and latch onto them," Zheng Zha said disappointedly.

In his first mission world, he was able to successfully complete the mission by building a good relationship with Alice, the protagonist of Resident Evil.

So when Zheng Zha arrived in the Hunter world, his first thought was to replicate his success from the previous world and build good relationships with the main characters.

Luo Yan shook his head and said, "Don't bother trying to get on good terms with the main characters. In this Hunter Exam, Gon and the others are also our competitors. Even if you get on good terms with them, do you think Gon would give up for you in the final exam?"

"Well, in the final combat test, Xiao Jie would rather be killed by Hanzo than give up. How could he possibly give up for me?" Zheng Zha said with great self-awareness.

"Yes, so we don't need to worry about the main characters' attitudes at all."

Luo Yan continued, "Moreover, in the Hunter x Hunter world, the protagonist's presence is actually very weak, and the protagonist's halo is not as strong as that of protagonists in other worlds."

"The Hunter world is more like an ensemble manga, where every person and every character can be the protagonist. There's no need to pay too much attention to Gon."

The five people were chatting amongst themselves when a short man with a round head and face walked over, and everyone immediately stopped talking.

"Hello, I am Bean Noodle Man, and this is your number plate."

After handing out number plates to the five of them, the little man turned and left.

Beside them, a middle-aged man with a square nose, sitting on the pipe, seized the opportunity to interject, chuckling, "You're new faces, aren't you!"

He jumped down from the pipe, came to Zhengzha, and extended his hand, saying, "Hello, I am Dongba. I am an old hand at taking exams. If you don't understand anything, feel free to ask us."

Zheng Zha did not reach out, nor did he even acknowledge him.

He had read the comics and knew that this Dongba was a newbie killer, who used laxatives and various despicable means to disqualify newcomers from the exam.

Dongba showed no embarrassment and extended his hand to the others, but only Feng Wujue and Bai Ye shook his hand in a friendly manner.

Bai Ye even took Dongba to a secluded corner and started chatting with him.

After a long while, Dongba and Baiye finally parted ways.

"What did you talk about with him?" Luo Yan asked curiously.

Bai Ye shrugged and said, "We didn't talk about anything. I just told him that his laxatives weren't strong enough, so I specially provided him with some good stuff."

"What good stuff?"

"Muscle relaxants traded from other reincarnators' vendors."

"Who did you give the Dongba to?"

"Haven't you read the manga? Killua is the only one who drank the Tonpa beverage, so of course I let Tonpa use it on him."

"You want to get rid of Killua?" Luo Yan frowned. "What if the muscle relaxant doesn't work on Killua? Wouldn't you be provoking him?"

"I just wanted to test how strong the Zoldyck clan really is and see if the muscle relaxant would work on him. As for provoking Killua, that was a drink Tonpa gave him, what does that have to do with me?"

Bai Ye wasn't telling the truth.

He is a dangerous individual who seeks fortune through peril, dedicated to uncovering hidden missions within the mission world in pursuit of substantial rewards.

What he gave the Dongba was not a muscle relaxant, but a kind of Gu poison, a Gu poison that could cause excruciating abdominal pain upon hearing the sound of drums.

Byakuya plans to kill Killua. If he succeeds, he will completely distort the plot of this world and will definitely gain a lot of points.

As for offending Illumi and the Zoldyck family...

Bai Ye didn't care about any of that. If he wanted to kill Killua, he would only do so after completing the second main mission in the Heaven's Arena and about to leave the mission world. He wouldn't kill him under Illumi's nose.

Once he kills Killua and returns to his original world, what is there to fear about the Zoldyck family's retaliation? Even if he enters this world again, with his growth rate and strength, he won't need to worry about the Zoldyck family then.

Bai Ye is not a reincarnator like Luo Yan and the others; his hidden identity is a hunter.

Hunters specialize in hunting down rule-breaking reincarnators, and their growth potential and speed are much faster than those of ordinary reincarnators.
