Dragon Ball, simultaneously traversing countless worlds

Tear!

A sound caught the water dragon's attention.

Sweet Mask's back was arched high, and his white suit was stretched open, revealing iron-gray skin.

“Something’s not right. Sweet Mask seems to have changed. His skin… doesn’t look human at all.”

With its head drooping, something ugly, like a scar, crawled up half of Sweet Mask's face, and the skin and organs around that half of the face were all mutated into a disgusting appearance.

His ears became pointed, his canines grew sharper, and his left eye was completely covered in scarlet.

A deep roar echoed in his chest, and his left arm and left leg began to mutate, their muscles swelling and tearing his suit.

When Sweet Mask, who had been kneeling on the ground, slowly got up, he had already transformed into a half-human, half-monster.

Chapter 229 Scandal

Sweet Mask, driven by intense resentment after his defeat, partially unleashed his monster body.

His transformation not only shocked the water dragon, but also left the video recording team in the distance speechless.

"Oh no! Sweet Mask has turned into a monster! Turn off the recording, report to the association, and evacuate immediately!"

The leader of the recording team hurriedly shut down the equipment and urged his subordinates to leave quickly.

The man in the team wearing a baseball cap, however, had eyes full of excitement.

Because the mysterious force behind him promised that he would receive even more money if he filmed any sensational videos.

The top-ranked A-class hero, Sweet Mask, has become a monster, or rather, he was a monster all along. Isn't that shocking enough?

It's absolutely explosive; once it's released, it will deal a huge blow to the Hero Association.

Unbeknownst to everyone, the guy in the baseball cap quietly 'disappeared' and moved closer to the battlefield between Suiryu and Sweet Mask.

As Suiryu watched Sweet Mask transform into an ugly monster, he immediately mocked, "What? You're a monster after all? No wonder my master told me it wouldn't matter if I killed you."

"You bastard, you made me lose my mind in anger and forced me to reveal my identity. I'm going to kill you and wipe out the recording crew in the distance, so no one will know my true face and I can become a star again."

Sweet Mask breathed out icy air, and his words sent chills down one's spine.

Shuilong's gaze darkened: "I was worried about accidentally killing you before, so even when I used my cosmic power, I didn't go all out. Now it seems there's no need to hold back anymore."

Shuilong cracked his knuckles and said, "Come on, let's restart the battle. This time, I will kill you without hesitation."

"Don't be so arrogant, it's not certain who will take down whom," Sweet Mask roared.

The two collided at high speed. The monster-like Sweet Mask's physical abilities increased more than tenfold, and his iron-gray muscles were harder than steel.

The water dragon, having burned its cosmos, saw its power and defense increase dramatically, even without the blessing of a Saint Cloth.

They exchanged blows, and the violent shockwaves, like a category 12 typhoon, flattened the ground by three feet.

Scattered pebbles filled the air, like a sandstorm engulfing everything.

Sweet Mask stepped on the air as if performing Moonwalk, using air resistance to leap over a hundred meters, his body falling and spiraling, causing a giant tornado.

"Lushan Hundred Dragons Overlord"

The water dragon sensed the stars, its hands tracing a mysterious path, unleashing hundreds upon hundreds of dragon fists in a mere second. In an instant, it shattered the tornado, which was tens of meters in diameter.

Sweet Mask's hard body was riddled with punch marks, his internal organs ruptured, and he vomited blood.

However, after he turned into a monster, his recovery ability was extremely strong. The injuries to his internal organs could not completely affect his fighting power. Sweet Mask forcibly endured it and continued to launch an attack. Taking advantage of the momentum of his fall, he kicked the water dragon's body with one foot, like a meteor falling to the ground.

The water dragon then used its microcosm to activate its scale energy, causing the light around its body to distort, as if it were covered with an invisible layer of divine dragon scales.

He inherited many Saint Seiya skills, but most of them were incompatible with him. Only the Dragon skill, which could unleash tremendous power without needing a Saint Cloth, was the most suitable for him.

Not only did Suiryu learn Shiryu's Sonic Finger, Sonic Fist, and Scale Qi, but he also mastered the exclusive secret techniques of the Dragon Throne—Lushan Rising Dragon Fist, Lushan Dragon Flight, Lushan Soaring Dragon Fist, and Lushan Hundred Dragon Fist, among other skills.

He used his scale energy to withstand Sweet Mask's kick, causing the earth to collapse and create a huge crater ten feet in size. The clothes on the Water Dragon's upper body were completely torn apart, revealing his bronze-colored, oily skin.

His trousers were torn in many places, turning into strips of cloth, and his skirt could barely cover them anymore.

However, by now, Shuilong had no time to care about the skirt anymore.

Anyway, the recording crew had already run away, and no one was paying attention to his battle with Sweet Mask, so he didn't need to care about showing his skirt in public.

Both of them thought no one had seen their shameful act, but little did they know that a man in a baseball cap had faithfully recorded everything.

The device in his hat had already completely uploaded the video to the person behind the scenes.

In a building resembling a military base, a group of people received a video, watched it, and then high-fived in celebration.

"This is fantastic! This is perfect material to bring down the Hero Association! Sweet Mask is a weirdo. Once this kind of dirt is posted online, the Hero Association's stock will definitely plummet."

"That's right, this corrupt Hero Association can finally be swept into the dustbin of history. Next comes the era of NEO."

NEO is a new hero organization that emerged after the great battle between the Hero Association and the Monster Association.

This organization remains quite mysterious to Luo Yan. In his previous life, the comics did not delve into the true nature of this organization, leaving him wondering whether it was an organization with ulterior motives or a genuine new hero association serving the people.

But one thing is certain: NEO has always been committed to overthrowing the existing Hero Association and replacing it.

Driven by NEO, the battle video between Sweet Mask and Suiryu spread across the internet at lightning speed.

Now, you can see this huge scandal simply by opening any streaming platform.

The video was playing on billboards at bus stops and on the screens of buildings throughout the city.

People stopped to watch, speechless.

"What?! Sweet Mask is a monster?! That's impossible! How could my brother be a monster? This video must be fake! I'm so angry! This is slander! The person who uploaded this video deserves to die!"

"This must be Shuilong's trick. He must be unable to beat my brother, so he resorts to this method."

"We demand the truth, the truth about Sweet Mask. Water Dragon is a despicable villain, using underhanded methods, and does not deserve to be a hero."

"Why doesn't Shuilong just die? Using such methods to slander my brother is disgusting..."

When the video circulated, Sweet Mask's fans were the most outraged and began to condemn Shui Long online.

The language was so foul and obscene that it was unbearable to look at.

Meanwhile, some people who already disliked Sweet Mask spontaneously formed an online army to kick Sweet Mask when he was down.

"The video isn't fake; this is Sweet Mask's true face. He's a weirdo."

"I've seen Sweet Mask before. He always wears a lot of perfume. I used to wonder why a grown man would wear so much perfume. Now I know, he's trying to cover up the weird smell on himself!"

"Water Dragon is a true man, take down Sweet Mask."

"I don't know Suiryu, but I hate Sweet Mask, that sissy, so I support Suiryu in taking down Sweet Mask."

Amid the overwhelming online harassment directed at the two individuals involved, there were also voices questioning the Hero Association.

"Is the Hero Association blind? Making monsters heroes who protect the people. Just thinking about how many monsters in the association haven't been exposed makes me tremble in the middle of summer."

"I think Zombieman, Pig God, and Watchdog Man are all weirdos."

"Zombie Man, aren't zombies just a type of weirdo? The association should really do some genetic testing on him; this guy is definitely different from normal people."

"That's right, Pig God is definitely not a normal person either. I saw him eat a monster during a battle with my own eyes. A person who eats monsters? Is he really human?"

"Zombieman and Pig God are one thing, but please stop bashing Watchdog Man, he's adorable!"

"Cute? Where's the cuteness? Don't you think Watchdog Man's expression is always the same, making you wonder if he's actually a big dog carrying a human head in his mouth?"

"Damn it, you bastard, you've made it impossible for me to look at Watchdog Man the same way again..."

Chapter 230 The Water Dragon's Skills Revealed

—Dragon Ball: Simultaneously Traveling Through Multiple Worlds, Chapter 230: The Water Dragon's Skills Revealed

The waves of online discussion will not affect the two fighting in real life.

No matter how many people curse Water Dragon and Sweet Mask, they will never know.

However, the Hero Association was affected by the video, and its stock began to plummet.

Fortunately, it was just a video, so the Hero Association can still whitewash it. As long as Sweet Mask doesn't turn into a monster in front of everyone, they can forcibly clear his name afterwards.

Furthermore, if Sweet Mask defeats Suiryu, regains his human form, and then reappears in public to give a speech condemning the team that created the composite video, he could still salvage some of his popularity.

After all, fans only want to see the idols they want to see and will never believe the bad side of their idols in private.

"How's the battle going? Can Sweet Mask defeat Suiryu?"

The boss within the association questioned his subordinates.

The personnel responsible for satellite surveillance of the battle said, "The situation is not optimistic. The two are evenly matched, and it is still difficult to determine who will win after fighting for so long."

"No, Sweet Mask must win. If he doesn't win, who will clear up these rumors?" The boss's expression was uncertain: "If necessary, we can abandon the Water Dragon."

The manager was taken aback: "Boss, do you want us to fix the water tap ourselves?"

The association has a large stockpile of weapons and ammunition, and can effectively kill the Water Dragon by directly deploying fighter jets or satellite laser weapons.

"No, there's no need to mobilize the association's weapons. Those weapons are being watched by many people, and once they're used, it will be even harder to explain. Besides, those weapons of mass destruction can't accurately distinguish targets. What if we accidentally kill Sweet Mask?"

The boss continued, "Doesn't the association secretly imprison a lot of monsters? Select some powerful monsters and transport them to the battlefield. Sweet Mask, being one of the monsters, will definitely not be attacked, but Suiryu is definitely doomed."

"But boss, if the monster doesn't attack Sweet Mask, doesn't that further confirm Sweet Mask's identity?"

"It's okay, we can all blame it on video editing, as long as Sweet Mask is alive."

"Only the living have the final right of interpretation."

"Yes, I understand, boss. I'll get on it right away."

"By the way, thoroughly investigate the source of the video. The technical department has blocked the signal in the wasteland, so why can the video still be transmitted from the scene, and at this speed? I suspect there is a strong force behind this video."

"Understood, I'll go investigate right away."

While the Hero Association was preparing to transport the monster, the battle between Suiryu and Sweet Mask continued.

The intense battle had lasted for half an hour, and both men were now covered in blood, wounds, and utterly exhausted.

Sweet Mask has completely transformed into a monster, relying on his powerful monster body to recover from his injuries and regain his strength, which is why he has been able to last so long.

The water dragon relied entirely on its willpower.
